Negative experience: I had an NHS dental check up. The dentist looked at my teeth for around a minute and then was recommending expensive gumshields. I have no confidence that my teeth have actually been checked properly. He certainly didn't check any other parts of my mouth for disease. I would not recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: I had a really good experience here, Dr onyelobi did an excellent job , he explained the procedure and did his best to alleviate any fears I might have he also recommended dental hygiene tools. The procedure was reasonably pain free with little to no discomfort.

Positive experience: Both dentist and hygienist were excellent: thorough, professional and personable. My experience was only marred at the point of paying when I was charged considerably more than I had been told and if I hadn't queried it I suspect no one would have picked that up. A refund was quickly organised (although is less quick to go back into my bank account). I am still somewhat nervous and perhaps even annoyed, at the practice's habit of forward charging me £40 in advance of my next appointment.

Positive experience: Not very happy with these dentists, although I explained that I had lost a filling and was concerned about my denture I was given a ten-minute checkup and have now had to make another appointment in about three weeks to deal with these. Nothing explained about costs except that non-NHS is more expensive which I knew but would have liked to know a bit more. Shame that dentist cannot help me more instead of telling me that my teeth are not very good - I know that - a problem shared by many of my generation.

Negative experience: Very bad experience Dentist was late 45 minutes not even apologies for this. I had a deep cleaning appointment which has a slot of 30 minutes but I was done within 7 to 8 minutes. I asked for pain in my gum she said I have to take another appointment for this, I still have swollen gum and pain as it was before my appointment.

Negative experience: Terrible experience! I’m An an NHS Patient and was charged £1800 to have a two tooth bridge! I thought I was paying for a Denture as well as that’s what the Dentist told me! Yes I signed a form to agree to the treatment,but you don’t expect to be deceived by your Dentist Will never go back to this place Be very careful

Negative experience: Very poor service. The dentist seemed unable or unwilling to listen to what I was telling him, and was visibly annoyed when I asked what part of my mouth the teeth were in the image we were looking at. It seemed that no records had been made of investigations undertaken during previous visits, or that the dentist had not read these records. It used to be pretty good here, but as other reviewers have stated, it’s gone very much downhill.

Negative experience: I went for a checkup yesterday. I was asymptomatic. The checkup was cursory, lasting literally about 1 minute. I was advised I would need 'dental hygiene' as I had plaque at the back of my lower incisors that would cost ca £48. This too I had with a rapid jet type wash. On returning home, I looked in my mouth & stiil, there remained some of the plaque that supposedly needed removing. Conclusion: I will certainly never again have 'dental hygiene' as was recommended...

Negative experience: I have used Damira Dental for 5/6, previously I’ve been very happy w their service and dentistry.. unfortunately my last visit wasn’t so well received. Arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment - the lady next to me had been waiting 10 minutes over her appointment time, when the dentist called me the lady sighed and revealed she had a baby downstairs w a childminder - I obviously let her see her dentist first ( confused to why he’d missed her) I had an impression taken for a missing/lost tooth, no apron/covering offered during this procedure, I also had to request water to rinse my mouth as well as tissue to remove excess residue from my shirt and around my mouth… I enquired how long it would take for a replacement tooth to be returned/fitted, and was told 6 weeks - when I mentioned that the 2 previous dentures had taken 2 weeks I was told that’s impossible and that certainly doesn’t happen at this practice - even though I’d had said teeth fitted in the same room previously, it was also stated that I would be required to pay £78 upon leaving the dentist….this has now increased to £299 apparently before any work to be completed. Several phones calls later to speak w the practice manager to no avail, I finally received a call back several days after my initial phone call… I’m not sure what has happened to the previous level of service I’ve received at Damira - though it’s certainly not to level I had become accustomed too…admittedly the “Practice Manager” was apologetic, but made no headway in resolving the situation. Disappointed.

Negative experience: Worst customer service and general organisation of a company that I have ever witnessed. Negative experience: On top of the dentist being very dismissive on my first appointment. They cancelled my second appointment 30minutes before my arrival. I had already paid for a babysitter and was on my way down there. They rescheduled for 2 weeks later. I got Covid returning from another country a couple days before my appointment and wasn’t well. I tried to call to cancel. There was no voicemail. I tried a few more times to get ahold of them. Nothing. I didn’t even get a confirmation call for me to be able to tell them I couldn’t come in. On the day of my appointment they called me. I explained that I had Covid. They asked for the results. I told them I didn’t go to the dr and I took an at home Covid test and that I had tried to call multiple times. I told them if they would like I would come down right away but I did have Covid and I can’t wear a mask while they work on my teeth. They told me the doctor wanted proof so I would need to send a picture of the at home Covid test and my call log so they could see that I had tried to call. I said ok but then realised they were asking for my call log which seemed a bit more intrusive than a dentist’s office should be so I asked if the manager could call me. They said ok. They never provided an email. I never got a call from the manager. Months later they called and tell me I’m being charged. I told them I had asked to speak to the manager about the charges and was never called back. She said ok. The manager would call me back. I never heard anything. A couple weeks later I get a letter in the post saying that they had sent it to collections. I call and ask why and they said I had to talk to the debt agency. The debt agency calls me and I explained the situation to them. They have me put in an appeal. I explain the whole situation again. They tell me I still have to pay. So if you’re going to go to this practice they must not care if you’re ill so just go and keep your appointment. Be aware that they will call you at the very last minute and cancel on you with no repercussions to themselves. Because they believe that their time is valuable and yours isn’t.

Fantastic experience: I'm not great at going to the Dentist I'm am pretty much afraid, but I have to say that they have made me feel calm and relaxed through my treatments since going there.. Negative experience: I am very unhappy with the administrative and dental treatment I have received from the Damira practice in the last year: - myself and my daughter's appointment had been cancelled, but we had not be told of this until we arrived at our appointment. - I wrote to the practice manager about this three weeks ago and I have not even had an acknowledgement from the practice manager. - this was not the first time an appointment had been cancelled but I had not been informed until I arrived for my appointment. - when I booked my next appointment for 6 month's time, the receptionist was very slow and unhelpful, and failed to ask me when time I would like the appointment for, and booked me in at a time that doesn't suit. - I have always enjoyed going to the dentist, but I have had two awful experiences at Damira in the last year: one was seeing the dentist Ejike Onyelobi, who spent about 3 mins for my check up just poking my gums savagely which left them hurting for an hour afterwards. - The second awful experience with with a hygenist (who wasn't Will - Will is great!!) who did the whole appointment in about 5 minutes, and aggressively attacked my gums again!! I've used that practice for many years now and always used to find it really nice. It's sad to have had such experiences, and sad that this seems to be the only platform to get the issues addressed. EDIT: The Practice has replied, noting that I am welcome to contact the Practice Manager. I have contacted them twice on the email below. Both times reception confirmed that my email had been passed to the Practice Manager. I have still not received a response to my email inbox. The first email was over a month ago. They have time to reply to a public google review but not respond to a private email. The below does not address any of my concerns. I look forward to a reply in my inbox!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. When I raised concerns about a mistake in my treatment, the dentist responded in a rude and dismissive manner, showing no respect or willingness to listen. I was told to leave and that "he had done the best for me"—despite my pain and discomfort. Unfortunately, I am still suffering from the effects of that treatment, which led me to seek help from another dental clinic. Thankfully, the new dentist was able to identify and resolve the issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic to others.

Positive experience: The check up was complete and efficient. The dentist explained very well what she was doing and showed interest in my concerns. I am very happy with the experience. However, I was surprised to hear about going back in 6 months when I didn't have any problem and I am more used to have yearly check ups.

Positive experience: The dentist is good; however, their time keeping is extremely poor. I was 10 minutes early for my first thing in the morning appointment. Although no one else was waiting when i arrived and no one came out of the examining rooms they didn't call me for my check up until 10 minutes after my appointment time. They are constantly running late even first thing in the morning with no explanation - please try harder people have places to be as well!

Fantastic experience: Had some fillings at the back and my front teeth repaired here, my dentist was really lovely, explained what she was doing as she went along, smoothest injection I've ever had, hardly noticed it, really happy with the work done. Can't fault them really.

Negative experience: I am very unhappy with the practice, I never had to write a review, however I feel completly sad about the threarment from my dentist to me, I book a emergency appoiment because I am with a several tooth pain, however when I was there they didn't anything, I do need to extract a wisdom tooth but they didin't referal to me to a surgent, the dentist told me that I have to be on pain for 2 more weeks and with 6 tablets of antibiotics will be enoght for the next 2 weeks when I am taking 3 tablets per day, even that I can not sleep, eat, or do anything because of the pain, I feel really bad threated, they should take care more about the people, and look for the health of them insted of leaving them on pain with really poor results and not taking any actions to help them.

Negative experience: I have had an atrocious experience with Damira. TLDR: I would in no way recommend Damira if you have any other options for dentistry. Their customer service has been consistently poor throughout the process of bringing these issues to a conclusion. I have been consistently ignored, hung up on etc. when trying to contact the reception team, and every time they have made me a promise about calling back or getting in touch it has not been fulfilled. The whole process (from the initial check-up where I let them know about the issue, to actually receiving the essix retainer) took a total of ~8 weeks, 5 different appointments, and has cost me £268. This does not even take into account the large amount I will now need to pay to register as a patient at a new dentist and pay for a professional hygienist to properly clean the backs of my teeth, as this service was not included in the retainer removal process from Damira. My husband has also experience constant rebooking and rescheduling of his appointments at Damira, and almost every time I have visited I have seen people arrive for their appointments only to be told they have been rearranged at the last minute. While trying to get a bonded retainer fixed over the past two months I have experienced: - The dentist misunderstanding the issue , and instead attempting to 'fix' a different thing , and the 'fix' immediately breaking as soon as I used an interdental brush as recommended. - Booking a new appointment to deal with this, only to be told it is actually impossible to fix (which should have been clear from the first appointment), and that I instead needed a new essix retainer. - Having the appointment for my retainer fitting rebooked for 3 days earlier (as the dentist was no longer working that day?), even though when I booked the appointment I was told I needed to leave 2 weeks between appointments for the lab work to arrive. - While phoning Damira I have been repeatedly being put on hold, hung up on, and told I would get a call back which never happened. On one occasion the receptionist picked up the phone and then set it down on the desk, so I was left confused and frustrated by hearing the sounds of the practice but there being noone there to actually speak to. - The practice losing my lab work, but still making me come to the appointment and wait there for an hour while they looked for it. - Not only was the lab work lost, but they had also lost my initial impressions, so after waiting an hour in the practice I then had to waste more time going back into the chair for the unpleasant impressions process *again*. - Being promised by the dentist that he would personally keep an eye on the lab work, and would get the practice to call me immediately when it arrived so I could rebook. - The lab work should have arrived within two weeks, but I had to wait a further month, call the practice several times, and submit a formal written complaint, before I was contacted to rebook the fitting. - The 'resolution' from the practice manager was that despite acknowledging that the level of service had fallen well below standards and that it would prompt a 'wider internal review of processed', they could only offer me a 10% discount on my treatment (only the retainer part, not the amount I paid for the 'fix'). This came to a value of £22, which doesn't begin to cover the amount I have spent in travel and parking costs and in lost income for the time wasted at multiple appointments, trying to talk to someone over the phone, and in making a formal complaint. I unfortunately no longer have the appetite to debate compensation with the practice manager via email, so have chosen to accept the 10% discount and move to another practice immediately.

Negative experience: My opinion is going down! Three appts in a row now when there has been a problem with the booking!!! My clinical treatment is 1st class but your admin is shoddy. This time appt booked when dentist at lunch. Last appt moved back an hour due to dentist not being there. Prior appt had to be rebooked as wrong appt booked. I'm not happy!

Positive experience: I've been a patient for a few years, in recent years I haven't had the same quality care as I once did. My excellent dentist left and have seen 3 other dentists over the past year or so. I've gone in twice for a filling only to be told twice they wouldn't do it, different dentists but same tooth. I don't know when they asked me to come in if they can't do the filling. I find that appointments for the dentist always are running late and its rushed, I think perhaps they are booking too many people in. Pros: the equipment is good (especially compared to some other NHS practices), the hygienist runs on time and takes their time to explain and talk through what they are doing.

Negative experience: This was a miss-booking. I was supposed to see a dentist to have work done following two emergency appointments the week before, but when I arrived the booking was yet another assessment appointment with a different dentist. This cost me money through lost income and I have had to reschedule work to an evening to cover the replacement interview for this Friday

Negative experience: If I could give zero for our last visit I would. I took my anxious 7 year old in for her regular temporary filling to be replaced, as has been standard practice for her for the last 4 years. The dentist was visibly shaking with anger and so aggressive is his ‘bedside manner’ because we had used the putty from the chemist, as recommended by our usual dentist, to temporary fill the holes so she could eat, until she finally got an appointment to have her temporary fillings replaced. He refused to remove the putty and replace it with the temporary fillings. His manner was so inappropriate that I decided to get her out of the dental chair and have rebooked in the hope that next time she will be seen by a professional, who can communicate effectively in front of a nervous child. If that’s what the dentist considered to be an acceptable way to communicate, there was no way I wanted him near her teeth anyway. She will now have had to wait 3 weeks, with 3 holes in her teeth until she is seen. Simply awful.

Negative experience: Currently unimpressed with the administrative aspect of Damira whihc led to a series of cancelled appointments by Damira, followed by an appointment that was made for a day when the dentist in question wasn't working. What made the last worse was that I had spoken to the call centre (who didn't tell me they were the call centre) on the way there as we encountered unexpected traffic to ask her to let th edentist know we might be late. As it happens we were on time and were then informed that not only had the care centre staff member not passed on our message, the dentist wasn't scheduled to be in that day. I was assured that we would not be marked as No Shows. 2 days later i received a standardised email infomring me that I hadn't attended the appointment and i would be removed from the list if the misdemeanour was repeated. I emailed immediately and detialed the sequence of events. No response or acknowledgment was received. THis resulted in the following ezchange: 20th March 09.45am: Spoke to Gemma about non-acknowledgment of email complaint sent on Monday, 17th March 25 at 08.21. Detailed issues and she said she would escalate and get back to me tomorrow before noon. 24th March - spoke to Immy, Supervisor, who explained that Gemma was unavailable and she would look into the matter and call me back with an update later today. 25th March 25 10.43 - Immy finally called. Apologised for not calling to update yesterday. Still no further forward and is trying to speak to a colleague about the matter. Unable to provide a time frame for resolution but would update me by the end of the week. 2 April 25 - 15.14 - Spoke to Lily who said she'd put me on to the Practice Manager to deal wth my complaint. After 8 minutes the phone cut out. 15:23 - I called back and hung on for antoher 8 minutes before Gemma answered but it appered she couldn't hear me so she hung up. 15.33: I called again from the land line and spoke to Gemma who tried to put me through to Diana Borkowska, the practice manager. After some time she returned to let me know that Ms Borkowska was in surgery and would call me back either today when she was out of surgery or tomorrow. She apologised for their failures to communicate and agreed that a periodic one line email saying they were on the case and would get back to me ASAP would at least mean I felt they cared. 7th April 11.09: 11.21 - finally spoke to Diana Borkowska - apparently brought out from surgery - who apologised profusely for lack of comunication and said would take the Did Not Attend notifications of both our accounts. To date, Monday, 9th June, 2025, I have received no official apology from Daina or anyone else in authority. The dentist and hygienist we see are excellent but the administration of the organisation since Damira took over is abysmal.

Negative experience: Usually my appointment it cancelled before I get there, but this time I was in the dentist’s chair and was told I have to reschedule. This wouldn’t be too bad however the reason I was there was because of an infection caused by an appointment being cancelled to for a crown and not getting another for 8 weeks, by which time I was in agony. I had paid for the crown as a private patient which cost me over £1000 and I am still paying for it! It

Positive experience: Very grateful to have a NHS dentist! However the dentist was running 30 mins late which meant they didn't have time to do the treatment I need. Reception staff did not communicate this when I arrived. Very grateful to get another appointment in the same week but needed to cancel my plans with family as it's 7.30pm on Saturday evening.

Positive experience: The check up was fine but although I arrived well before my appointment, I had to wait for over half an hour past the appointment time. Someone else was waiting for an hour longer than me. What happened? You turned someone away for being 10 minutes late and there was little apology for keeping others waiting for a lot longer. This is the first time I have had to wait so long. Hopefully, it will be the last.

Fantastic experience: As someone with sensitive gums, I've always dreaded the dentist. Most of them are still quite rough, making appointments painful. However, I was so pleased with my recent experience. I had a private appointment at Damira with Dr Abobakr and Sali (forgive me if I've remembered/spelt this wrong!). They were so welcoming and attentive to my needs. As soon as I told them about my sensitive gums, they did anything they could to make the treatment as comfortable for me as possible and checked in each step of the way. This made it hands down the best dentist experience I've had, and I'm incredibly grateful for it.

Negative experience: The dentists themselves are great but the admin support is awful - late cancelled appointments, appointments which don't exist when you get there, reminders for the wrong time. The admin staff advised that everything is managed on a central system now and calls go through to a call centre so there is nothing they can do to correct problems. Damira is obviously trying to cut costs but patients pay the same fees and see worse service.

Negative experience: In short, a hot mess. I got charged £55 for an "Emergency appointment" hoping to get my chipped tooth fixed on the day, but it turns out they only LOOKED at it, and I had to book another appointment a week later to get actual treatment, which cost me £160. Let that sink in, £160 for a chipped tooth filling! That filling fell out the next day. They cannot provide a full record of payment transactions, when asked. I get told my next appointment has been pre-paid, but when I turn up, they say I have to pay again. I have no doubt that I've been double-paying for appointments for years now. But there is no way to check because they cannot provide a full list of transactions. Not to mention you cannot get the hold of them by phone, no matter how many times you call. The rudeness of Damira Receptionists gives GP Receptionists a run for their money! If it wasn't for a brilliant hygienist and a general dentist they have on staff, I would have left long ago!

The objective of an emergency appointment for unregistered patients is to evaluate the problem and provide a temporary fix until they can see their usual dentist. Treatment advised will depend on the assessment from the dentist. However, if treatment needed is unable to take place in the appointment, you will be asked to speak to your usual dental provider for the further care. We always recommend people phone they’re own practice before coming to us as they should be aiming to you them within 24 hours. This also prevents this situation occurring as we cannot guarantee what will take place within an emergency appointment. Negative experience: consistently has me waiting for 30mins to an hour for dentists 'running late' but when I'm 15 minutes late and call ahead they tell me to still come in and not turn back over the phone and then turn me away at the desk.

Negative experience: This Dental Practice took £250 deposit for my Invisalign treatment plan back in March 2025, after that I have no more contact with them about what to do next. I called many times and left voicemails for call back but nothing. I called their reception many times to ask to speak to the manager (Diana) but they told me that she was in the meetings every time I call and asked for her. I have put in a formal complaint and asked me my money back a week ago but still no response. Hopefully the owner will respond to my review on this.

Negative experience: My last experience was very negative as I was waiting for the dentist to call me in (after having checked in and paid at the reception). I heard a dentist saying to the receptionist that 2 patients missed their appointment. As I heard my name I said that one of the 2 was me but nobody had called me in. Positive experience: It is great to have Juni back. As well as being a highly skilled practitioner she is always pleasant and explains things clearly, inspiring confidence in the patient. I had two teeth extracted and she carried out the procedure quickly and efficiently, minimising the discomfort. My only complaint is that when I had an appointment with Mohammed recently he did not offer me an extraction although I had already been told by another dentist ( ?Azar) that I needed one. When I saw Juni she immediately arranged for it.

As a 28 year old adult I'm still afraid but the last few years the team have been lovely and welcoming and the receptionists, hygienist, and the dentist have been so kind and patient with me. We've been waiting six months now. The braces are causing bleeding and severe pain and discomfort. Fantastic experience: My Dentist has the best Dentist chair manor I have ever had , He is gracefully kind , informative and never rushes you through this is a man that cares deeply about his patients and the importance of his job. However this was a review that did not send months ago. The dentist I had on wed 29 feb ., could not have been better under the circumstances. As I was stressed not being able to find a parking place and anxious and also Reception were not listening and I knew I needed a longer an appointment for a front tooth. Hence, I could’ve gone away with a temporary one. But fortunately for me, it was a small filling and he managed to do it expertly under a lot of pressure. Especially with me feeling negative about the whole situation and he didn’t rise to that at all he was still very decent and considerate. However, it’s a feeling I have that they are running a really tight ship there I don’t think there’s enough time allocated. It’s not as clean as it used to be Dentist room rooms and the bathroom Reception no longer wearing uniforms which is sad and it just all seems a bit hectic and slapped – less is more because quality is always preferred. But thank you to the Dentist that saw me he did a great job.

Fantastic experience: Although a little slow, a Polite and efficient reception. Appointment is usually on time and the there is no sense of rush or hassle during the time in the chair. Wonderful to be treated by Mr Patel who is patient and very clear in his description of actions. And I can ask him to pause if it all gets too much. Definitely recommend.

Positive experience: Dentist I saw for my latest check-up was quick, friendly and helpful. However, the appointment had previously been cancelled twice, the second time on the day itself - I originally had it booked in February and didn't get seen until April. I emailed the practice twice asking for an explanation of why they kept having to cancel and what they were doing about it, and received zero response. While I was in the waiting room the receptionist was on the phone cancelling more appointments. Fantastic experience: My Second appointment with Damia should’ve been for extraction instead it was marked down as acheckup. This was totally unacceptable as I had to get blood test from the doctors for iron and also I have to take two antibiotics before treatment.. but the treatment I had from Mohammed yesterday for extraction of two teeth, was exceptional. He knew I was nervous and he went through it in particular detail which put my mind at rest.

Negative experience: There was a long queue at Reception The presence of a second receptionist would have eased this. It was also noticeable that some patients, myself included had difficulty understanding the accent of the receptionist on duty. This contributed to the fact that appointments were not running to time. My inspection was quick, but quite painful, and confirmed that one tooth presented problems. No updated Xray.. I asked about the cost of an implant v. trying another filling v a bridge. However, I still have reservations for various reasons. I also need to think where this work should be done and by whom. I was told there was debris among my teeth; I am normally commended on my teeth being clean, which is an incentive to keeping them that way. When I asked where the debris was, I was told 'everywhere', but no advice was given.

Negative experience: Until around 2 years ago, I was, on the whole, pleased with my treatment. However, in recent times I have found dealing with this practise frustrating and disappointing. There is a seemingly high turnover of inarticulate clinicians, who give the sorry impression that the patient is a bit of an inconvenience. Reception staff seem to be hugely overworked - trying to get phone contact takes forever. The excellent hygienist I was seeing was the only positive thing about this place. Other than him, I am very pleased to be moving on for my dental care.

Positive experience: I am a nhs patient when Damira took over from studential we were assured nothing would change well it has you can now only book appointments online if you are a private patient nhs patients have to call it took me 20 phone calls before anyone answer so I could make my appointment when I attended my appointment the examination was the quickest that I have ever had. I feel that the dentist trys to pressurise me into seeing the hygienist which is the private side of the practice i don't think this is should happen as I've always had my teeth cleaned by the dentist on a normal check up for the last 50+years it's just a money maker.

Negative experience: The bad experience and frustration I have felt with this Dental Studio has forced me to write this review (for the first time) to make Damira Team aware that they have to take measures to change the way they treat their customers/patients. I am going to reiterate the same thing that many have already mentioned here before: poor or non-existent communication that makes you feel 100% neglected, no one ever answers the phone and emails after sending X reminders, you receive appointments that you have never requested and they cancel appointments after having waited 45 minutes in the waiting room to be attended to, an absolute lack of attention, etc. The only extra advice I give here is not to choose the Dental Plan because it is basically an absolute waste of money and I do not want to go into details or tell my experience because it is unbelievable.

Negative experience: Appointments keep getting cancelled, sometimes last minute which is frustrating, and they never answer the phone. My response to Damira's response below: They say they are "prioritising certain patients" but I believe this is not the whole truth. Every time my appointment has been cancelled I've been told the dentist has booked last minute annual leave, or the dentist never actually works this late or has had to leave work early today, or they are ill today. It's been 5 cancellations now 2 of which were the day of the appointment. Last time they told me after cancelling my appointment the day of that no dentists were available on a Friday, only hygienists, so they wouldn't be able to reschedule my appointment. It makes me think how are they seeing emergency cases if there are no dentists available in the first place? Some potential suggestions: maybe could sort their management out or employ more reliable dentists?

Negative experience: My experience was less than welcoming , blamed for a 3/4hr wait when I arrived Early for appointment {clearly overlooked} Receptionist not willing to own his mistake . For the 3rd time of seeing the dentist , no plan described for treatment despite having an xray each time and Nothing else , no spring clean carried out as part of the band 'A' possibility ,clearly needed . I am feeling that this is not a service with patient care a priority ,perhaps a training ground for dentists who see their path only in expensive private plans .

Negative experience: Tldr: Very problematic admin. My appointments have been moved 3 times within a span of 2 months. I initially had an appointment for a checkup on December and I asked for a dentist who will be available to do an extraction within the next few weeks. They said someone was available for an extraction on my desired period so I had a checkup with that dentist. Upon talking to the receptionist to schedule my extraction, I was told that the dentist was not available but will call me during the holidays to inform me of their schedule. No one ever called and upon returning from the holidays I was told (I called them, they did not even attempt to call me) that said dentist has left the practice. So I had to get another checkup with another dentist (and pay for it again!). Note that this too was rescheduled from the original appointment. I got my extraction (the dentist was great!) and was scheduled for a filling and an appointment with a hygienist. I paid for both appointments (200£) only to be told once again that both appointments have been rescheduled for 6 weeks from now. I asked for a refund and was told that someone was going to call me for the refund. No calls thus far.

Negative experience: The worst dental clinic. I had a filling done less than a year ago, but it fell out. When I called them, they said I would have to pay again. I explained the NHS rule that they should replace it free of charge since I lost it within a year. They put me on hold, and after a few minutes, they agreed to do it for free—but I would have to wait a month. I’m in serious pain and haven’t been able to eat anything since losing my filling. I explained this to them, but they kept saying there was nothing they could do except advise me to call every morning at 8 AM to check for cancellations. The filling was too high, I lost it within a year, and it was very difficult to get an appointment. Finally, they lacked professional knowledge.
