Fantastic experience: So today I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed under the care of Dr George & his lovely nurse…let’s just say I wouldn’t hesitate if I needed to have another one done. So gentle, did what they needed to do in a calm, controlled atmosphere, pain relief offered before the procedure with steroids to help reduce pain & inflammation, antibiotics provided if needed. A really good experience with something I was dreading. Highly recommend for all your dental needs!

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank doctor George for all he has done to help me with my dental treatment. It was a challenge due to the problems with my gum and the bones in my mouth. I had to have bone and gums grafting before I could have the implants, but with his skills, patience and kindness he overcome all the problems and now I am happy with my implants.

Fantastic experience: I have only had a Consultation appointment so far and was treated like royalty. I had been treated by one of the Dentists over 10 years ago in London and have never forgotten how brilliant he was. Managed to track him down to Dental on the Banks and I was not disappointed. The whole appointment was excellent, I went in feeling very apprehensive as I have Sjogrens Syndrome which has badly affected my mouth and teeth. This in turn is affecting me mentally, but everyone I met here treated me with such respect and kindness making me feel at ease. I now have options to consider, whereas I thought I had none. The journey from London to Bournemouth was so worth it as I look forward now to see what can be done. I am not sure yet what the costs will be, but at least I have that hope now that I can possibly have nice teeth again and feel totally confident in the people providing it. Thank you to you all.

Fantastic experience: I Had my consultation for Invisalign at Dental on the Banks today and it was an excellent service. I was provided a very clear explanation as to what the process would involve, how long it should take and how my teeth could be corrected (including an AI scan/image of something very close to the finished product at the end of the treatment). The team carried out a thorough investigation in order to draw up the recommended treatment plan and this was all provided in writing. There was absolutely no pressure to decide there and then. I now have a dental check up in a few weeks and will be starting my invisalign treatment immediately afterwards. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team aiming to deliver an awesome job. Your journey will be very much in your control. The results are as they say in the beginning.

Negative experience: I paid for the Enlighten tooth whitening experience here. It was a mixed experience overall - if I could give 2.5 stars I would. Here are the pros and cons. Pro: My teeth are whiter than when I started Con: I didn’t get as white as the ‘B1’ shade advertised as the result of the treatment Pro: When the dentist realised I was a bit disappointed with the outcome, they gave me more whitening gel for free which was nice and unexpected Con: the treatment itself is quite unpleasant, which I don’t think is properly explained before you have to pay. I experienced quite a lot of gum pain and loss of sleep, which if I’d known I probably would have waited to have the treatment to a time when my sleep wasn’t being strained by a new arrival at home. It also means I’m not looking forward to needing to use the free gel. Pro: the appointments were always prompt and started on time Con: whilst waiting the 2 or 3mins for my appointments to start, I consistently heard arguing about workload/tasks between the front of house staff and the management (the arguments were happening at the front desk), which is pretty unprofessional and not in keeping with their advertised ‘premium’ customer experience Pro: I had to change a few appointments and this was handled promptly and without fuss by the front desk team Con: I paid for the treatment in November, when they had some Christmas discounts going. I had to proactively ask the front desk team to add the discount rather than them proactively doing it for me. Pro: the assistants/dental nurses (not sure what the right term is?) were always nice and personable and chatty Con: in the initial ‘consultation’ appointment, I made it repeatedly very clear I’d never done tooth whitening before and would like to understand how it works. at no point was the overall process explained to me (ie what was happening in that appointment, what would happen in the next one etc). I only figured it out between reading the “treatment plan” (which looked a lot more like an invoice - call it what it is) and the box that all the Enlighten gear came in. Overall - I wouldn’t say I recommend the whitening treatment here but it does work (sort of) so I’d advise shopping around and reading reviews of other places before choosing dental on the banks, as it still might be the best around

Fantastic experience: 2024 : Just started a treatment plan and so far service has been great. Looking forward to completing it. Will review again when finished. …. All done now and I’ve been super impressed with dr John. Not only has it been a painless procedure ( 4 crowns) but he has talked me through every step of the way. Nothing has been too much trouble. I was a little concerned about my gums after my temporary crowns had been fitted and he saw me straight away and very confidently assured me all was well and it was. I’ve just had my permanent crowns fitted and I’m really pleased. They look so natural. Dr John pays attention to every detail which is so important , especially with front teeth..the lab that makes the teeth are obviously very good at what they do too. Compliments to the dental nurse and the reception team too. Definitely recommend.
