Fantastic experience: I had a root canal with David & Molly today. I cannot express how happy I am with the work they did. I was so nervous and have avoided the dentist for years (hence needing a root canal!!) and at my consultation David mentioned people falling asleep whilst having the procedure and I thought ‘no chance not me!’ But I was so relaxed and dosing off to sleep throughout the treatment. So happy I found Crown Bank and David is truly a credit to the practice. Thank you so much.

I am a very nervous client and this dentist are so lovely with me, they take the time to sit with me to explain and they listen to how I want the treatment to go, everything is at my pace guided by experts. Fantastic experience: I have not been to a dentist for about 15 years following a bad experience but eventually summoned the courage to visit Crown Bank when a tooth problem got too bad to bear. I am glad that I did: every single member of staff is professional and caring and understanding of my concerns. Today I had the offending tooth extracted. It was not the most fun experience but Sky and Katey made it very bearable and looked after me. I will be returning for regular check ups.

Fantastic experience: Root canal needed, not good! But, David was so nice and took time to explain everything in detail and what my best option is. My regular dentist Dan is also great. He is attentive and keeps you updated on what he is doing. He checks in regularly to make sure you are comfortable and doing ok. The nurses are all attentive too and check on you. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Staff were all very pleasant, kind & caring. I had lost a temporary filling, so phoned for an appt. My call followed one which had just re-scheduled an appt, so I was offered their old appt, which was within an hour of me ringing! I went in, another temp filling was put in until a review at my next check-up in September. No complaints at all. Thank you all.

I was quite nervous about the treatment, but Olivia and the team put me at ease throughout. The result is amazing. The crack has been stabilised and filled and now just looks like a normal tooth again. Highly recommended. 5⭐️

Whilst away from home and unable to see my own dentist I developed a very painful tooth absess .Firstly I saw Dan who explained why i was having problems using a mixture of photos and x rays so that he could explain in detail what my options were in a manner that kept me involved in the decision and empathised with my situation. I opted for tooth extraction which was peformed by Medhi who was very kind and caring and managed to make the removal of my tooth as smooth and trauma free as possible. Both Dentists and Nurses as well as the recetion staff were all first class and I would highly recommend

Negative experience: Had a filling done in June this year. The appointment was to replace the old filling yet the dentist simply added a bit without replacing the old filling while I paid the full price. The filling was also very painful and rough to the point that I had difficulty speaking as it was hurting my tongue so much. I have never had such a bad filling job before. Kept on struggling with tongue pain even after an additional appointment to file down the filling. Got prescribed a retainer. When I got it, I thought it was a bit weird that it sticks out at the front as it would put pressure on my front teeth, yet decided to trust the dentist. Within less than a week one of my bottom front teeth got chipped! I also kept on waking up with pain in that bottom tooth as the retainer was putting so much pressure on my two front teeth. It cost about £400 and the result is a chipped tooth, pain in one of my front teeth, a waste of money and the filling that was never replaced properly not feeling right and making my jaw feel misaligned. Avoid this dentist at all costs! Update: I had an appointment today and got a refund for the bite guard. Also got offered to try to fix the tooth for free but with a low chance of success unfortunately (sadly looks like the damage is done but the dentist was willing to try even though warned that the fix will probably not last). It was all fine until the dentist mentioned this review at the end of the appointment. The dentist also started talking about how my family go to the same practice. I thought it was odd that my family got mentioned and it made me feel uncomfortable. I am also not sure now whether the refund was a result of this review and whether it would have been offered without it or not. Will amend the rating from one star to three as I've experienced a lot of issues with Crown Bank Dental and at the moment my dental health feels worse than it was before and the chipped tooth can't really be fixed but at the same time the dentist offered options and I received a refund. As promised to the dentist, I am posting this update. Final update: since the 'treatment' given to me at Crown Bank Dental I have been struggling with daily pain and discomfort in the chipped tooth. Crown Bank Dental have taken away my dental health and no amount of refund can bring it back while all that the dentist was worried about was a review. Changing this back to one star and I really wish I had never attended this practice.

Fantastic experience: After using NHS dentists all my life I reluctantly booked into Crown Bank Dental and my oh my, it’s like walking out of a farmyard and into a hotel. The place is full of warmth and helpful staff, my consultation was thorough and hugely informative. I realise the cost of these private dentists can be frightening but the expertise on offer is well worth it.

A year later 4 implants and 2 crowns were needed and I have fine teeth and good gum health vital for the wellbeing of an 81 year old man.

Dan was brilliant with her. As usual he was calm and that helps her to feel calmer too. He explained everything that he was going to do as it progressed and gave time for her to understand what was going to happen. He was attentive to her and methodical in his work. Dan reassured her during the process and praised her along the way. I was very impressed with his professionalism and skill.
