Fantastic experience: I visited today, July 2025, for a clean and review with the lovely Natasha. As always I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is so relaxing, that even if you hate going, you cannot help but feel it wasn't such a bad experience. I love how positive and kind everyone is. I used to dread these kind of appointments, however, I honestly don't mind going now! I couldn't recommend smile stories enough, especially if you have a fear of going!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a few fillings replaced by Ed who was friendly and very professional. He explained everything comprehensively , and took photographs throughout to give a thorough before / after visualisation of his work. Amazing service from all the staff!

Fantastic experience: Hi, my name is Danny and I have just finished up my smile story journey in the winton, bournemouth branch. I am so very grateful to Gareth and the team for their unwavering support, professionalism and expertise. I had a big gap between my top centre two teeth which has completely gone after being with the team for a little over a year. Not only that, all my teeth top and bottom are aligned, whitened and contoured. What’s more, I moved from Bournemouth to Leeds only a few months into starting with smile stories and they were ever so accommodating with fitting appointments around when I was visiting family. Fantastic experience: For most of my life I've hated the dentist. It's been a place that I'm super tense when I go in, and even tenser in the chair. When I found SmileStories, that all changed. When you walk in, it's friendly, relaxed and you're dealt with as a person, rather than a number. The communication through channels like WhatsApp, Email, Online Meetings, and seeing your teeth on the screen with full explanation on the treatment plans are refreshing and modern, especially when you've got a busy life! I've spent more time smiling in the chair at SmileStories and laughing, than I ever have in the other dentists I've been to over the years. Really happy with my decision to join here, and can't recommend them enough for your Invisalign, or general dental journey!

Fantastic experience: I have just finished my Invisalign and composite bonding journey with Smile Stories and honestly couldn’t recommend them more. My teeth were always a massive insecurity, and for the first time I feel confident smiling. Garath and the whole team were so friendly and made the whole process feel really easy. Garath made sure I got exactly what I wanted with the bonding and helped me get the best result without spending more than I needed to. Fantastic experience: I have been with Smile Stories for around a year now for Invisalign, and I'm so happy with my results. Gareth, Camila and all the team have been brilliant. They take the time to explain things thoroughly and everything is well thought out so its a smooth process. The place itself is welcoming and has a relaxing vibe (plus there's screens in the ceiling to watch some Netflix while they do their magic). I'm so pleased I went with Smile Stories and would definitely recommend them!

Negative experience: I haven't been happy with my teeth for a while and after seeing Smile Stories on Facebook reached out to them and as requested sent pictures of my teeth to them and received a report with suggested work. I then called as I had some questions and was told by the receptionist that she would need to speak to the dentist and would get back to me. And this is where the story ends...I've heard nothing since. Such a shame as I was really hoping they could help me.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has previously had a phobia of going to the Dentist, when looked at starting Invisalign I wanted somewhere welcoming, relaxed, and somewhere that didn’t feel like a traditional dentist; Smile Stories ticks all of those boxes. From start to finish I had an amazing experience, and after finishing my ABC smile journey today, I couldn’t be happier with the result! Thank-you so much to Gareth and the whole team for all of the hard work that has gone into making my smile as good as it now is! Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff with a top class service. Very pleased with the treatments I’ve had - hygienist, fillings and aligners. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: I contacted Smile Stories because I have been unwell and this has caused problems with my gums. I spoke to the Care Coordinator in December 2024 and explained the situation, then paid for and booked an appointment with the Hygienist in January 2025. I subsequently booked a Dentist appointment for March 2025 but had to move it to April 2025 due to my health. A month later I received a video stating I would be a ‘better fit’ for a dental practice that specialises in nervous patients and a link to their website. This could have been provided at the outset. It appears these initial appointments were to see if they wanted to take me on as a client, rather than actually doing it, which was not explained. Smile Stories did refund the cost of the appointments although they have delayed the treatment I need by six months. I now have to contact a new dental practice and go through another process from scratch, which is difficult for me to do given my current situation.

Fantastic experience: I am very anxious of dental treatment and when I visited for a professional hygiene visit, I have never felt so comfortable as I did at Smile Stories! Natasha was amazing! I have very sensitive teeth, and she was so gentle and the front of house were so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this clinic, definitely going to sign up for their membership plan

I finished my invisalign a couple of months ago and i am so glad I took the steps to getting my teeth looking fabulous. Gareth and the team have been incredible. Fantastic experience: As well as visiting on a regular basis for my routine appointments for dental checks and hygienist I have had reconstructions on two teeth. The procedures have been explained in great detail beforehand and during the procedure I've been warned of sensations and feelings I might be about to feel, which have been spot-on. I was so pleased with the first tooth reconstruction that I was happy to have a second one undertaken recently. The team are friendly and the latest technology and techniques in dentistry are used throughout. I'm especially impressed with the 3D computer images of my teeth! UPDATE May 2025: Just had a 2nd molar tooth extraction carried out by Ed and Amy. They were both brilliant, reassuring me that the procedure was going to be fine, following a disastrous attempt at an extraction by a previous dentist at another practice many years ago. The reassurance allows me to trust them with what they are doing and I shall be booking subsequent dentistry bookings with these professionals. The lady at reception is nice and friendly, too.

Fantastic experience: An easy 5* experience with an extremely friendly and professional team. Zak explained dentistry to me in ways I wish I was told sooner and Sarah has done an outstanding job so far with the challenging set of teeth I have given her to work with! Fantastic experience: I’ve been with smile stories for about 18 months, I’ve had Invisalign and currently in the process of having implants and I cannot recommend them enough, they’ve been so friendly since the day I walked in and I am so impressed with the treatment I’ve received. Everything is explained really well and they are so easy contact if you need them! I’m very anxious about the dentist but I haven’t felt anxious going there at all, it just doesn’t feel like a dentist which is perfect for people like me!

The whole team have been very professional and are always happy to see you and have been fabulous in arranging appointments to suit me. On my initial consultation he explained my treatment in detail and the length of time to complete my treatment to ensure the optimum outcome of the implant. Each visit he took photos and discussed the process. I am thrilled with my dental implant. It has made the world of difference. Fantastic experience: I visited Smile Stories on recommendation from my daughter. It was going to be her wedding in a few months and I had a tooth near the front that had been removed due to several attempts to repair not working and did not want a bridge due to the damage it causes to surrounding teeth. My consultation with Carman was for an implant. During the process we discussed other concerns I had about gaps I had and the impact this was having on my other teeth. We decided on 3 implants. I was made to feel welcome on every visit by the whole team. I really felt they cared and were treating me as an individual. After dwelling about my teeth for years and neglecting them after braces, I went for a consultation with no expectations. Immediately I felt comfortable and reassured. Fantastic experience: I have recently joined Smile Stories after moving to the area. I was nervous about finding a new dentist after having ongoing treatment with my dentist in Birmingham which I was really happy with. It is such a big deal to find a good dentist. I definitely came to the right place, Smile Stories have great attention to detail, the practice is welcoming and all of the staff are friendly, warm and show a genuine interest. I had a full check up and Eduardo advised I replace a very old metal filling with a natural one. He explained why, and gave me options to consider. I was treated with kindness and compassion, being told what would happen every step of the way. My nerves were eased and the treatment was as gentle as it could be. Smile Stories have this down to a ‘t’, the team are full of a smiles (the power of a smile!), understanding, encouragement and care - and it makes a huge difference. Fantastic experience: I needed implants and I had quotes from a number of different local dental practices. I chose Smile Stories because their quote was very clear and I thought the team and the dentist were really lovely and patient. They explained everything and the surgery itself is a very nice environment. They have parking available on site which makes it easy and the reception team are great and put people at ease. Harry and the team like to chat and find out about the person they are dealing with so it makes you relaxed and put at ease. He explained the proposals very clearly and was receptive to my needs. Whilst the treatment was quite tricky - having several teeth out and making space for the implants - I was very relaxed throughout and was taken care of throughout. The costs from different dentists are not hugely different but Smile Stories were the clearest about the cost and the proposed programme of treatment. So I'm very glad I chose them and I will be returning to get the second set done soon.

Fantastic experience: Have been at Smile Stories for a number of months now and have only had wonderful service. Ed & Anna-Louise have guided me through general health checks, fillings being replaced and a wisdom tooth removal with funny chats to put me at ease and make the experience actually a nice one! Have recommended to friends and family because they are, by far, the best dentists I have been to. 10/10

Fantastic experience: About 4 months ago I had an upper mouth with several brocken teeth and a poorly fitting partial denture. Ed extracted the roots as necessary and repaired the teeth that were still salvageable. All this was achieved with little discomfort. I now have a new partial denture that is comfortable and looks great Very happy with my experience.

Fantastic experience: So glad I decided to go private and choose Smile Stories! Having visited the dentist a lot when I was younger, I was always so anxious about visits and the dentist atmosphere never made me feel calm. I’m not lying when I say it almost feels like you’ve walked into a cocktail bar when you walk into Smile Stories! The decor is beautiful, smells lovely and the staff are all so friendly and chatty. The communication both in person and via WhatsApp is really good and I barely had any questions through my Invisalign smile journey. The Invisalign process was nowhere near as bad as what I was expecting (comparing it to god awful train tracks as a teenager!) and I’m so glad I did it. Smile Stories gave me a great deal (in comparison to other local private dentists) for Invisalign and it was actually pretty easy once you got used to the new routine. Ive also picked up new healthier habits since having them (eg snacking less, cleaning my teeth after meals and taking better care of gum health). Win win! My teeth are now back to being as straight as they were after my first lot of braces - looking whiter, healthier and smoother. Thank you Gareth and the rest of the team you’re all brilliant!

Fantastic experience: From the minute I walked through the door I knew I was going to leave happy. Such a lovely welcoming place and may I add the decor is amazing ! Winter on reception welcomed me and was so lovely with the biggest smile I had my first appointment with Zak and Tasha. They made me feel so comfortable and to start with I forgot where I was as they took the time to get to know me, it was more like talking to friends then being sat in a dentist chair. My appointment was an hour long and they talked me through every single step and regularly checking I was feeling ok and comfortable. Fantastic experience: I found Smile Stories when looking for a welcoming dentist to get Invisalign, whitening and composite bonding. The whole experience and team at Smile Stories are fantastic and my appointments are always punctual and painless. After finishing the Invisalign and whitening, I ended up being so happy with my own teeth, that I decided against the composite bonding - I am now so happy with my teeth and smile it really has made a huge difference to my confidence.

Fantastic experience: Just started treatment for dental implants with Harry. Hated dentists with a vengeance as they never listened and I have a low pain threshold. But Harry is patient and explains as much or as little depending on what I need to know and when. It is the best experience I have ever had . Lovely front staff make it a pleasure to turn up and the friendly WhatsApp messages are icing on the cake

Fantastic experience: Absolutely over the moon with the service at Smile Stories. You walk in and it doesn’t feel like a dentist. Such a calm environment. TV’s on the ceiling during procedures which is awesome. Always really happy people, you can tell they love what they do. Always put the health of your teeth first. Fantastic experience: My smile stories journey is just starting. So far I've had a lovely experience with all staff members. They keep me updated and I feel like I'm totally in the loop with progress being made, also being able to send messages via what's app is fantastic!! So far they have always replied within 5-10 minutes if not sooner and it feels like I'm getting a message from someone I really know! I absolutely hate going to the dentist but it really doesn't feel like that when I go to smile stories. I'm super excited that I'm finally going to get straight teeth and not shy away in photos any more and set a good example to my kids on how important our teeth our. Fantastic experience: First class service. I’m very happy with all the dental work I’m having done at Smile Stories. They take time and care to explain every stage to me and make sure I’m happy and fully understand what’s happening. Any questions I have are answered fully. Fantastic experience: The team at smile stories have been amazing. I’m absolutely petrified of the dentist due to bad past experiences but they made me feel at ease instantly the moment I walk in the door, very patient with me when I got upset due to being scared and always checking to make sure I wasn’t in any pain and was ok when having things done. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years due to how scared I was but I’m now excited to go back to smile stories for my next appointment. Fantastic experience: These guy’s always go above & beyond expectations. Never have I enjoyed going to the dentist so much! From the moment you walk in you are greeted with happy and caring professionals who really make you feel welcomed. Today Eduardo repaired a tooth of mine which I was very apprehensive about after previously having a bad experience elsewhere. He created a calm environment and took extra measures to make it was as painless as possible. I barely felt a thing! Every member of staff there knows how to do their job to the highest of standards from the hygienists to the receptionists. All whilst being kind, something you rarely find in any business. 5* all round!!

Fantastic experience: Eduardo did some extensive dental work with me including removing all metal from my mouth! Not only is he a highly professional and talented dentist but despite the obvious challenges of having so much work done in my mouth he managed to make each visit a pleasure with his empathy, kindness, open mindedness and buoyant spirit. His assistant was lovely too. Now that all the big work is done I feel I will miss them ;). In fact the whole practice gives off a youthful, kind, friendly energy, they really do make going to the dentist a pleasure!!

Fantastic experience: After a few recommendations from friends for Smile Stories, I decided to visit myself. All the team here are so welcoming and friendly. The place itself is also lovely without the usual clinical feel from a dentist. I have had multiple visits to Sarah for various dental work I needed doing and she, alongside the dental nurses, has been amazing and put me at complete ease! I have also had appointments with Camila and Zak who have been so lovely. The care and service here is second to none, highly recommend to anyone!!

Fantastic experience: Currently going through appointments with scans and hygienist with Carmen & Camila. Due to awful dentistry when I was 19, (not in early 50s), I can’t have metal in my mouth touching my teeth and fear injections in my mouth so have previously sought IV sedation. The current methods but more so the care and understanding shown by Carmen & this week with Camila (1st appointment) have been reassuring and manageable. I know I’ll still need sedation for the main work but I have been able to relax as best as possible whilst they do what they need & feel trust and confidence in both / all of the team at Smile Stories in Bournemouth. I’m hugely grateful for their compassion and lovely professional ways that they’ve handled my issues, both fears / anxiety as well as the work being undertaken. Hugely recommend Smile Stories from the moment you walk in to when you leave, and the update messages in between, everyone is so professional and lovely.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Smile Stories enough, I’ve had a few appointments so far and I’m beyond impressed with their service. Today I had two wisdom teeth removed by the lovely Eduardo and Anna. I never knew tooth removal could be so seamless! When Zak explained the process beforehand I thought there’s absolutely no way I’m not going to feel the whole thing, but honestly I felt nothing! I was so nervous going into this (I’ve never had any teeth removed before or any dental work like this), but I was in great hands and it was completely pain free. I even told them to go ahead and remove both at once instead of the planned 1 wisdom tooth, yes that’s how painless it really was! Thank you all for looking after me, see you soon x

Fantastic experience: I started my smile journey with Smile Stories in June 2023 as I noticed I was beginning to feel self-conscious with my crooked teeth. Since then, I've gone through a transformation which has given me confidence and great pride in my smile. Right from the initial assessment, I knew I had made the right choice. The team at Smile Stories strikes a perfect balance between professionalism and genuine friendliness, which truly sets them apart from other providers. The process is seamless. You don't attend in-person appointments each week to ensure your aligners are doing their job. Instead, you're provided with ScanBox technology which allows the team to perform a virtual review, giving you the ability to progress with your smile from wherever you are. After completing the first round of aligners, a further consultation is conducted to assess how to enhance your smile. I completed three courses of aligners across 9 months to achieve the smile I wanted, and it was so worth it! This is followed by brightening which you control. I didn't want to reach 'Hollywood White' so still have additional whitening gels I will be able to use as and when I need in the future. Lastly, my aligned and bright teeth were contoured. These finishing touches really were the cherry on the cake which is why I am extremely satisfied with Smile Stories. Overall, If you're considering Invisalign, I highly recommend Smile Stories for their exceptional service and dedication to perfecting smiles. It's an investment which will pay dividends throughout your life!
