Fantastic experience: I recently had some dental work done by the lovely Jo and her team. Everything was explained in detail at my consultation and clear instructions were given about my teeth whitening at home kit. I returned several times to the practice and had different procedures done which led to my old veneers being removed and new ones fitted. I am happy with the result of my new smile as its very natural looking. The practice is super modern, the staff were all very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I also had a time frame that i would like my teeth to be done by and the practice were very accommodating with this.I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Wallasey Village Dental Practice looks after our whole family including my elderly parents and my young daughter. We are all very happy to travel from the far side of Chester and North Wales for the excellent care they offer. They always go the extra mile to accommodate us and fit us in for our appointments together. The practice itself is really lovely, very modern and comfortable. The staff are always so friendly and approachable, nothing is too much trouble. You are made to feel at ease from the moment you walk through the door. Fantastic experience: Update: Since the initial review I've been back several times, signed up officially as a patient and even willingly booked and attended check-ups and a hygienist appointment with absolutely zero fear. I really can't thank these guys enough for helping me overcome my dental phobia ❤️ I've been petrified of going to the dentist for basically as long as I can remember, but after breaking a tooth recently I had no choice but to go. The team at Wallasey Village couldn't have been kinder, and Lawrence was an incredibly patient and gentle dentist who immediately put me at ease, made sure I knew what to expect at all times and made the repair as smooth and painless as possible (I didn't even have any tooth pain at home long after the anaesthetic wore off!) I can't recommend this place highly enough for nervous patients. They really go above and beyond to make you feel safe, looked after and listened to.

Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Dr Nolan and his assistant who were very gentle and kind when I had a large filling replaced today. Dr Nolan explained every step of the procedure, as he was doing it and I was provided with a stress ball and a neck pillow which ensured I was comfortable throughout.

Lawrence is always been able to answer questions and give practical advice and knowledge which to me I have found very useful and gives me confidence. Fantastic experience: I have just had 2 New front porcelain teeth replaced that I had in for 18 years. Ben was my specialist who carried out the work. I am absolutely over the moon with them. They look fabulous so much Better than my original one's that I had. But above All everyone at the practice are just so so lovely. The receptionist when you first walk in, so friendly And helpful and lovely Olivia who was my dental assistant such a lovely girl. And the Lovely guy with the beard ( sorry I can't remember his name) they all looked after me. Ben he honestly has done an amazing Job on My teeth and I am now considering having composite on my other teeth. The practice is so modern and high tech, it's like visiting a spa. I would one hundred percent recommended to everyone. Thank you guy's for looking after me.

From start to finish the whole team were reassuring, kept me informed right along the way and were able to answer any questions I had. Fantastic experience: Fantastic service, rang about 10am to try for appointment as I had bad tooth ache, was seen at 12.25 I have an irrational fear of dentists but was put completely at ease by John and James. Everything explained in detail, so different from previous dentists. The young ladies on reception were lovely and helpful too. If I hadn't been in pain I could almost say I enjoyed my visit :) This practice has restored my faith in Dentists, Thank you

As somebody with anxiety about dentists (and having not been as a result for many years) the team could not have been more helpful or reassuring. The lady on reception was so welcoming and friendly. Tom the dentist was fantastic in reassuring me about possible treatments. He went above and beyond to explain the process and recommendations. Having not visited a dentist for some years due to a bad experience, I could not recommend this practice more highly. It was a no brainer to register with them and sign up to the affordable monthly payment plan. I left feeling well cared for and confident about maintaining my dental health moving forward. Fantastic experience: I have huge dental phobia but decided to book in for some help with my teeth after struggling so much the issues that come with persistent grinding. Everything was done at my pace which was so reassuring and even when I got a little upset I was supported throughout. Everything was explained to me really well and all of my questions answered. I know my treatment options which were fully explained and printed out for me and there was no pressure to book straight in so I’m able to review all of my options and make the right decision for me. After having a traumatic experience at my previous dental practice I was apprehensive to try a new place, but with WVDP I needn't have worried. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you enter reception, all the way to when you leave. My teeth very discoloured and horrible due to the medication I have to take. She has completely transformed them. I now have sparkling white teeth and my confidence has been restored. Fantastic experience: I recently joined the practice and can't fault the excellent service and skills of the team. I had an extraction undertaken by John which was completely painless! Fantastic experience: I whole heartedly recommend Wallasey Dental Practice. I had huge anxiety about visiting the dentist, which resulted in me not visiting any practice for over 10 years. As soon as I entered the practice I felt totally at ease. The front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming. But it was the personality and skill of Lawrence that made me realise I had nothing to worry about after all the years of fear and anxiety. He was extremely sympathetic to my fear and talked me through everything, explaining every step of the procedure in a calm and comforting manner. I have just received my first treatment this morning - a removal of an old filling and then refilled, along with a filling in the tooth behind. He was brilliant and so was the dental nurse. I honestly felt so relaxed throughout and again he calmly told me everything he was doing each step of the way. He actually said I had done really well (which was simply because he was so good)....the only thing I was disappointed about, was that I didn't get a gold star badge afterwards! In all serious, the practice is fantastic and I feel years of anxiety have been lifted off my shoulders and I know that I have nothing to worry about visiting again. Definitely 5 stars for everything :)

Positive experience: Dentist and dental nurses were amazing and super kind and comforting from the moment I came in. I’m very scared of dentists but they immediately put my mind at ease and helped me to navigate situations during the appointment that scare me for example the chair going backwards. So we laid it back before I got on it so I could see how it would feel in that position. He was very kind and made sure to show me my x-rays explaining what each thing was that he pointed out. Was the calmest, most relaxing dentist appointment I’ve had in a long long time. Only downfall is the cost of the treatments. My total came to pretty much how much money I get a month and I just cannot afford that so that was a real shame but overall amazing dental practice with such nice staff! Definitely give them a go if you’ve got the money for it

Fantastic experience: Took my 3 year old for an appointment with Lawrence, this was his second time coming here he was absolutely amazing yet again, my son said he didn’t need to sit on my knee and sat on the chair chatting away to Lawrence who made him feel really comfortable and not scared at all. The nurse in the room, I think her name was Becky was lovely too! Then Jamie outside had a Spider-Man sticker ready would 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience: Am sure everyone with a phobia, and rotten teeth, think that theirs is the worst in the world ever...I know I did.. Stepping through the door that first time, and the front of house staff being lovely every time, and Cath listening to my nervous ramblings and being just chatty enough to put me at ease was perfect. After the initial check up it took me a while to book in for any of the treatment, and first it was an intensive hygienist appt with Scarlett...this in itself was transformational cleaning up the teeth and persuading me to get an electric toothbrush...I had a large build up of calculus being my front teeth and am sure when she was removing this I heard her say to her assistant....your gonna need the bigger hoover...made me laugh... Next has been 3 appts with Jon, assisted by, I think, Emma and then Olivia twice. Both were lovely. Jon has such a calming nature and talks you through what is going on just enough to put you at ease. I don't think I have opened my eyes once to see anything that was going on, and dread to think how many injections I have had...but it has worked for me! If you would have told me, as I walked through the door for that first check up, that in 4 months time I would have voluntarily walked in for lots of treatment and then completed it...and be happy to return...I'd have said you were crazy.. Although I still don't have great teeth, I have good clean teeth and can now open my mouth more when speaking to people.

Fantastic experience: Had to have a filling today. The entire team are so friendly and put you at ease as soon as you walk in. Lawrence talked me through the procedure every step of the way, stopping to check I was OK. Even gave me a stress ball to squeeze while he did the injection! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Fantastic experience: Can't recommend this dental practice enough! I was seen by Lawrence, who made me feel less scared and explained everything to me so clearly. He was amazing when it came to my son's checkup. My son is autistic and sometimes really struggles with this sort of thing, but Lawrence and the rest of the team were really understanding and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: I live in Glasgow and back home visiting for a few months and my front tooth broke I was given an emergency appointment for 2 weeks today I was seen by Lawrence and within 15 minutes my tooth was fixed he explained every detail what and how he was fixing my tooth no needles required no pain. Fantastic experience: On arriving at Wallasey Village Dental i was greeted with very warm welcome from friendly staff, I was very anxious, as had alot of problems and questions to ask, lovely girl called Emma came to take me in met John he made me feel quite relaxed I explained my problems and if he could fix them, had an X Ray which was no problem, he went on to explain that my jaw problem would need looking into. Fantastic experience: After my old dentist wanted me to re-register to the dentist where we had been as a family for 25years, I was on the lookout for a new dentist. These where the first dentist I made contact with, after a consultation and a few questions answered about my past dentistry. The only thing I found a bit odd was the up front payment before they'd even seen me. But of course I totally understand why they have to due to do that. On my appointment day I saw the very knowledgeable hygienist who was lovely and took her time to show me the different tools to floss with, and was very thorough and very helpful. As for my dental appointment what a wonderful gentleman, in every sense of the word, very gentle, very reassuring and talked me through every process. Non of us like pain in any sense of the word, and I truly never felt any - I was super impressed. Everyone I speak to I tell them about this dentist practice and I'm so glad I found them. 100% recommend them. The reception girls are really lovely, kind, put your mind at ease, chatty and very efficient.

Fantastic experience: Always been scared of the dentist and paranoid about my teeth, went to uni for three years and didn’t bother going to a dentist whilst there so I rang WVDP when I got home and they fitted me in straight away. Had my first checkup with Jon and was shaking like a leaf the entire time, he was lovely to me and very understanding of my fears and made sure my mind was at rest, talking me through all my fears. Found out I needed 2 fillings and was scared beyond words, but after having both of them done I couldn’t recommend WVDP and Jon enough! Emma who was helping throughout, (even gave me her hand to hold whilst it was happening as I had told them how nervous I was) was amazing made me feel so at ease and reassured me the entire way through as did Jon. I feel like i’ve overcame a huge barrier in my life and wish I had come sooner. Thank you to everyone at wallasey village, reception staff are always so lovely and seem genuinely happy to see you. Jamie, Jo and Kerry have all greeted me so kindly and been so friendly towards me and set the tone of the entire practice the second you walk through those doors. Thank you again :)

Fantastic experience: I’d been without a dentist for over a year after my previous NHS dentist left and I was removed from their books. I received a call from Wallasey village dental practice to say they had some nhs spaces. I was seen quickly for a check up and had a follow up appointment for the next week for work to be done. All the staff are really polite, the premises themselves are clean and bright. The dentist I saw was really gentle and explained everything perfectly. If you were apprehensive about dentists, I would recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Dentist.Firstly I don’t understand why I’m such a wimp when visiting the dentist I turn into a big baby and I sit in the waiting room with my heart beating loudly in my chest there is never a reason for this as I am always looked after very well from the moment I walk through the door .Tonight I was going to be seen by Lawrence for the first time and this made me a little more nervous but from the moment I walked into his room I was greeted by the Fabulous Lawrence and his lovely kind dental nurse they both knew I was nervous my shaking hands might of given me away haha but I soon relaxed due to the way I was looked after.Ive NEVER known a dentist to be so gentle and really care from the start to the end, also he gave me lots of helpful advice to help with keep my gums and teeth healthy.He also understood my medical history and my ongoing rare stomach condition this touched me as it made me feel he truly cared.Thank you xx

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this dental practice for many years and would recommend it to others. I am very nervous going to the dentist but today I had Lawrence & Jay put me at ease, their kindness made my visit so much easier. Lawrence tells you exactly what he is doing every step of the procedure and also takes the time to listen to any questions I ask. I even had time to have a lovely chat with Jay on an update on how her beautiful cats are doing at the end of my appointment :) Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: I am really happy with my Invisalign experience at Wallasey Village Practice. The practice is immaculate and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Jo, my dentist, is very professional and patient. She made the whole experience easy, listened to any concerns I had, and now at the end of my journey …I love to smile, and have had lots of compliments about my teeth for the first time in my life!

Fantastic experience: I can honestly say going to the practice is a lovely experience! Lawrence and Jay looked after me so well, with each step of their work being told to me before it was performed. I was put extremely at ease and Lawrence is an outstanding dentist! Every single staff member at the practice are so lovely and friendly too!!

Fantastic experience: I came in today after not being in a dentist for 10 years. I've had many issues with dentists in the past, from not getting the pain meds right (and not being believed about this) to the dentists attitudes - feeling judged and dismissed, which has left me very anxious and angry overall. I saw Dr Lawrence today for a broken tooth, and thats the first time Ive walked out of a dental surgery feeling like a dignified human being. So from the bottom of my heart, thankyou.

Fantastic experience: I received urgent treatment today with Dr Lawrence Nolan after my veneer had fallen off twice in a week. I had been to see my NHS dentist and they had reapplied it but within five days it came off again. I was losing a bit of faith so decided to book private. The service is simply fantastic. I was out at such ease as I was noticeably anxious after my previous experience and even handed a stress ball to calm me down. Lawrence talked me through everything so clear and concise and was very patient with me. Impeccable service and would highly recommend to anyone
