Fantastic experience: Yet to have 2 fillings but going on my initial first appointment and my second being a deep clean the dental practice and staff were brilliant. Harry is a very professional dentist with extensive knowledge he explained everything thoroughly on my filling procedure and the hygienist lady who cleared my teeth was also excellent with no pain and nice clean feeling teeth . Fantastic experience: I’ve been with this practice for over 57 years - that speaks volumes. Have encountered different dentists and never been disappointed. For the last five years (I think - could be longer but seems like 5mins) I have been with Laura Webster. Wow! How I love her. She has been amazing with my dentistry especially as I have a massive issue with my jaw - can hardly open wide enough for food let alone dentistry equipment! So patient and tolerant. I have even had crowns, bonding and now Invisalign . So so very happy with the results - wish I’d done it sooner but the technology wasn’t available. Through Laura and her gorgeous assistant Shiavaun (properly spelt it massively wrong) are an amazing team. So easy going, make you feel so at ease and become your friend. Can always guarantee a laugh, chat and the friendliest approach. But still beyond professional and offer the best possible advise. Do not fear the dentist when you are in their capable hands. Would recommend totally and after 57 years do not intent to go elsewhere .

Fantastic experience: Update from June 2025. Just completed my half yearly check up and clean. Really good that I can do both appointments in 30 mins. X rays were taken along with a very clear explanation of the condition of my teeth, generally extremely positive bone and gum structure.

Fantastic experience: My visit was very simple. I was collected from the waiting room punctually and shown to the relevant room where I was greeted in a friendly manner. The staff were properly attired for the covid threat. My treatment was performed in a most professional way in a timely fashion and with absolutely no discomfort.

I’ve been at this dentist for YEARS since I was a kid, I LOVE that staff and always make you feel so welcome… know you by name always so caring, however I have the worst teeth in the world but they’ve always helped from the original dentist who Gillian bought it from to Trevor who I was with for years, my late Dad my Mum all use this dentist, I wear two pallets one top one bottom and I’ve lost the bottom, which I think I’ve swallowed. I called for an appointment and spoke to the lovely receptionist I’ve known years, sorry your name evades me… blond hair Buet smile who always ask about my family. I was told Wayne you’ve not been since 2018, right I’m an essential worker sleep when most people work and work when most people sleep, to my confusion I was told I’d been struck off because I’d not been, I’m sure COVID happened. I was told exact words “ we’re not taking NHS but you can pay private Wayne I’ll need £75 pound now then it will cost you at least £500 plus, right I might be thick but doing what I do I’m not sure, I’ve spent thousands first of all private and thousands more ! When I was with Trevor it was well over 5k plus everything after, excuse me as a customer NHS or not I’ve never called my GP or visited my hospital to be told I’ve been struck off, surely to god that’s a good thing… if your not visiting or am I being thick Not as though my teeth can decay I was told we can help or find a dentist taking NHS, thanks x but as I’ve said all way through amazing staff and service but loyalty from a kid doesn’t mean much sad really…..

Fantastic experience: Great staff and service, good availability for appointments. Our dentist Harry is fantastic, very welcoming and makes us all feel at ease, especially the children. One child had previously struggled at the dentist but is now happy and relaxed on appointments. I have needed some extra appointments over the past year and the practice have always managed to fit me in quickly and Harry has always explained fully what has happened and what the next steps are. I would highly recommend this practice.

My first visit put me completely at ease after all the drama I've had at a previous dentist practice. My first filling was done so well, my nerves put to rest, I can honestly say I'm so happy to have been accepted onto the patient list after waiting 3 years, theres no way I could afford private. I'm certainly never going to let this place down as I'd be lost without it.

Fantastic experience: I had a regular dental check-up with Mary Campbell (not my usual dentist, because of a change of time for the appointment). She carried it out quickly and efficiently, checking for mouth health etc, and then gave the teeth a good scrape and polish! No problem. :)

Fantastic experience: Just changed to Ridgeway as I didn't feel I was getting value from my last dentist. Very thorough initial check, photographs & X-rays taken. Shown me photos and X-rays on a computer screen whilst explaining their findings. When leaving a small child was upset in the waiting room, the dentist took the time out reassuring & calming the child.. Obviously Ridgeway are A good all round practice

Fantastic experience: The team at Ridgeway Dental Practice were superb with my 84 year old mother with Alzheimer’s. We joined this practice after a disastrous experience with another dentist who did not appreciate the challenges with Alzheimer’s disease but Harry was excellent and my mum was able to get the treatment she needed. After the appointment she has been telling everyone how good he was she may not always remember things but she knows when people are kind to her

Fantastic experience: This has been my dentist for over 50yesrs ,I have always been happy with their practice, my last visit was no exception as I lost a filling the day before I was going on holiday. I wasn’t promised an appointment that day unless there was a cancellation, luckily for me there was and I was all sorted no problem since. I was very grateful.

Fantastic experience: I have been with this practice for many years now. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience , I always feel relaxed. They are all very approachable and enjoy a laugh, although they've gone through many changes over the years. The past few years have been challenging and I commend them all on there care and professional way they've dealt with it.

Negative experience: Fantastic staff very helpful it's a shame they keep parking in the disabled bay (white vw Golf) without a badge and making it very difficult for their disabled customers to visit.

Fantastic experience: I've never had a bad experience here. Dentist Callum Porter is very nice, friendly & probably the best dentists I've ever seen. I'm autistic & he's accommodating with any small requests. I'd imagine he's good with children. He seems like a high energy person who can simplify things enough for me, I feel certain those qualities could be transferred to children :)

Negative experience: Calum as ever was professional, perhaps too professional! He gave me a long list of what I needed. Too much information verbally. I asked for a written list of what ~I needed and in what order, how much the treatment was. I am still waiting for these details.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was on time. A straightforward 6 monthly checkup, an appointment booked with the hygienist. All services first class.

Fantastic experience: I rang the door bell and within seconds a dental nurse invited me in after having checked that I had an appointment. I was checked for temperature and given hand disinfectant. I was allowed to wait in the patient waiting room as it had been raining heavily. After a few minutes I was escorted upstairs to a treatment room. I was allowed to remove my face mask for the duration of the check up. This was done promptly and very courteously by the dentist, who suggested that X rays were needed. These were taken promply and I was advised to make an appointment with a hygeneist. I went down to reception to make an appointment. I had forgotten to bring anything to pay for the check up, but was allowed to defer payment until the course of treatment had been concluded. At all times, I felt as safe as could reasonably have been expected to be in the current situation. I have no fears about going again to complete the treatment.

Fantastic experience: Always had good service at this dentist and been a patient there for 49 years. The repair work i had done was good, Going back for a check up 6 months later everything is fine, so all good. Everyone's really friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Great practice. I've been a client at Ridgeway Dental Practice for a few years now and have always been satisfied with the treatment I've received. I'm with Callum who is always friendly, polite and informative. I've seen Harry for emergency treatment when Callum hasn't been free and he has also provided excellent service. The dental assistants and reception staff are also friendly and polite. Nobody really wants to go to the dentist but it's makes it alot easier when the people that work there put you at ease.
