With regards to your 1-star review & feedback, I am so sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. I am also sorry that it took me so long to respond back, however, I had to further investigate prior to giving my explanation regarding the decisions and options given to you during your appointment.

On examination of your front teeth which you stated have been broken also look very worn down due to erosion, placing fillings on these teeth under the NHS wouldn't last and could also be worn down or break off even further.

If these teeth do not need to be clinically removed then the dentist will not just extract them, in his clinical opinion those 2 front teeth do not need to be extracted. It is against law, to extract any vital teeth and hence dentist refused to extract them per your request.

There are also other factors when removing teeth and replacing the gaps with bridges or dentures, once teeth are removed we ideally wait 2-3months for the gums and bone to fully settle and heal before fitting any replacement, If we removed these teeth you would be left with no front teeth for 3months which is not suitable. There is an option for immediate denture, however in your case, this was viable.

These front teeth can have small fillings to try and make them look more aesthetically pleasing but you must be aware these fillings may not last.

We can offer you an appointment to have a further chat with the clinician to see if we can do some small fillings or adjustments.
