Fantastic experience: The last time I went to a dentist years ago , I left in pure tears and felt awful . I was extremely anxious coming to Carisbrook but ChatGPT told me they deal with anxious patients and have good reviews . It was an incredible experience, from the receptionist who are kind and helpful and remember your name and face and treat you with utter kindness and make sure you understand what you are doing - to the dentists who will sit and talk to you with compassion, understanding and respect - to the hygienist who is cheerful and patient and willing to listen. They take their time whilst talking to you and explaining your options . They reassure you, they clearly want the best for you and your teeth and don’t want to just take money from you like other dentists in other places . A bus ride from my place and I am now spending my non working days ensuring my teeth are receiving the best treatment and love that they deserve. After avoiding the dentist for 10 years due to huge anxieties and poor treatment I am now looking forward to seeing the Carris Brook team and discussing how I can improve my teeth, my health and my life . 12 out of 10 highly recommend

I've been only to a checkup and I was fully expecting to be berated for not going to a dentist earlier but the dentist was actually really understanding and patient with me. This is without doubt the best dentist I have been to and it’s great to have such a high level of expertise in the local area. And Tariq and his team are particularly reassuring for nervous patients like me. All options and processes are carefully explained, with even technical aspects clearly outlined and there is a strong sense that you are receiving the latest dental techniques in a modern facility. It is clear that Tariq is a perfectionist who takes great pride in patient satisfaction. I must also thank dental nurse Roubina and Dr Robert Adams. And certainly not forgetting Jo and the reception staff who give that vital friendly vibe as soon as you walk in the door. I would certainly recommend this practice highly. 19 May 18 It’s getting hard to keep up the superlatives but then I have come to expect nothing less than excellence from the care at Carisbrook! Recently, I have had a bone graft with Rob, and feel lucky to receive such expert treatment here in the North West. Every step of the way carefully explained and didn’t feel a thing –marvellous! And I would like to give a special mention to the assistant dental technician and specialist anaesthetist for their gentle care. And many thanks to Tariq who continues to deliver his expert, calm, patient and reassuring care, this time for an implant and associated work. 12 October 18 Just had a bone graft and implant and am highly pleased with the outcome. I found, as always, the treatment from Tariq friendly, gentle, expert and professional. Fantastic experience: My dental experience with Carisbrook started pre Covid. My upper teeth were really poor due to gum disease and I had a broken bridge, plus numerous crowns which needed replacing. I had an implant and quite extensive work, most of which was done by Rhys who I can't thank enough. He made some very difficult procedures seem far less painful. The treatment has completely changed my life and given me so much more confidence. It was worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: Visits to the dentist are not something most people look forward to. However, a visit to Carisbrook Dental is a very pleasant experience. Every member of staff is both professional and friendly and the building is smart and clean with car parking available. My wife and I see a Angela the hygienist four times a year and Tariq twice a year unless there is the need for extra treatment. A year of so ago, my wife had an accident that required several visits and the staff were very accommodating. We cannot praise the practice enough.

Negative experience: My son was treated poorly at the worst dental clinic I have ever been to. The woman pediatrician who saw him gave me incorrect information about the treatment and strangely insisted on the treatment. After that, my son complained for three weeks about the poor treatment, and it was impossible to correct it. Although I requested to speak with the owner or manager several times, I was never connected to him. They only offered me an appointment with another dentist, but I lost all trust in this clinic and would never recommend it to anyone. A reply to the owner: Any specialist who gives you incorrect information only to make money is not a good specialist. I've already contacted the receptionist by phone and email several times, but neither the owner nor the manager has responded to my complaint.

During the root canal treatment I was made to feel as comfortable as possible (virtually painless) The crown is beautiful! It is well worth the extra expense for a wonderfully colour matched crown. He skillfully removed two roots left behind by the previous "dentist," and the procedure was nothing short of miraculous. From start to finish, his professionalism and care were evident. He patiently talked me through every step, ensuring I was comfortable and reassured throughout the entire process. Positive experience: Quick efficient treatment- albeit more than 15 mins late. Price of root canal appears to be considerably more expensive than the figure I’d seen in the press and also by word of mouth. Fantastic experience: I am an awful patient when it comes to the dentist so when I found out that I had to have my lower right wisdom tooth out I was dreading it. Apparently it was very awkward so I was referred to a specialist at Carisbrook and although unlikely there was a risk of permanent nerve damage. Today was the day and I was extremely nervous but as soon as meeting with Dr Idrees he put me at ease, talked me through everything and the next thing I know my partner was back picking me up. My memory is hazy due to the IV but I do know that I am very pleased with how I was handled, how professional the service was and even got a complimentary walk to the car! Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was referred here by my NHS dentist to see Dr Turner. I can honestly say this was THE most positive dental experience I have ever had!!! I am quite nervous at the dentist and have a very bad gag reflex which makes some procedures quite difficult for me to tolerate. Dr Turner was so nice and softly spoken, from the moment I walked in I felt relaxed. He and the dental nurse put me at ease straight away. He did not force the issue of having the regular xray due to my gag issues. Instead I was offered a different (external xray). If i lived closer i would seriously consider making this my regular dental practice. I would recommend this practice to anyone and would feel confident returning in the future should I need to. I’m quite nervous at the dentist but wasn’t at all with this one. I don’t live in this area but if I did I would most definitely be a regular patient.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with my consultation with Neil. He put my mind at ease with a course of treatment for myself. Formulated a plan moving forward. Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Over a period of healing time, Neil sorted out my implant placements. This all went as predicted, with another healing period before further treatment. All went well and Neil handed me over to Tariq to do my implant abutments. This course of treatment all went as planned, with no complications. During my time I have spent with Carisbrook Dental Care, l have had a wonderful experience. Very professional attitude towards clients by all the staff and friendly atmosphere. Negative experience: We paid £5000 for dental work which is no more a top and bottom brace all other work is extra which I wasn’t fully aware of would recommend the NHS to anyone else

Fantastic experience: I have a fear of dentists and in particular needles. Jamie is always very gentle and patient and takes the time to talk you through each step so you know what to expect.

Positive experience: The staff are all very helpful and friendly; that includes the receptionists, dental nurse and dentist. Treatment is punctual, pain free and carried out to a very high standard. They have helped me to overcome a phobia caused by treatment at a previous practice.

Fantastic experience: A recent visit to see Dr Idrees, highlighted a number of issues with my teeth, not picked up by my own dentist (the practice agreed to see me even though I am not registered with them as I have experienced issues with the temporary fillings provided by my own dentist) and, thankfully, I am due to start some permanent treatment with them soon. The practice is very busy but the appointments are not rushed and they are even open on a Saturday. My husband has also received exceptional treatment. I would recommend this practice, without hesitation, for their care and friendliness but also the level of professionalism demonstrated by the whole team.

Fantastic experience: It is always a pleasure to go to my bi-annual dental visits. The whole team is very professional, welcoming and warm. Jamie is a wonderful dentist, gentle, patient and explains everything you need to do to keep your teeth healthy. The lady hygienist is very thorough with your teeth and always sporting a smile. All in all it is an absolute pleasure to go to my dentist and hygienist!

Fantastic experience: I went and saw Jamie and had some minimally invasive composite bonding, sorting out a chipped tooth and reshaping another after having them broken in a bike accident. I’m SOOO happy with he work he did, and felt completely safe and incredibly well looked after during the procedure. My teeth look completely natural now, like nothing has ever happened to them, and people are so surprised when I tell them almost half my front tooth was actually missing – they can’t tell at all that it’s been redone! Thank you so so much for the amazing help, you are absolute lifesavers. I can confidently smile now, all because of you, and I’d give you way more than 5 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Over the last month I've had my oversized duck lips with over 3ml's in them, to them being dissolved, shaped up then plumped within 4 weeks and all I can say is I'm amazed and over the moon at my now perfectly naturally looking lips with only 0.7ml in them! Elliot, you have worked your absolute magic on my lips and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much for taking your time on my very difficult uneven lips! You are honestly a perfectionist, my lip fairy.

Negative experience: I was recommended this practice by a friend so I felt very confident that I would get a good experience out of it. The staff was very welcoming especially the reception team. The clinic is 10/10 clean and felt like safe environment to be in as they followed the COVID guidelines. However, when it comes to their whitening treatment that’s where the points drop. I was VERY specific about the shade I wanted when it came to teeth whitening.. there’s your most wanted Hollywood smile which I said I wasn’t aiming for so perhaps one or two shades below. granted my teeth weren’t the most perfect and when I first started out my teeth were 2/3 shade above the darkest shade (based on pictures taken on my phone from the dentist) I’m not a smoker and don’t drink either (occasional cup of tea.. but who doesn’t). After speaking to both the hygienist and dentist, booked several appointments (and I mean several) just so I could ask questions about whitening as I wasn’t sure which would be best for me to try either the £350 or £650 enlighten package they both insisted and recommended I go for the £650, which is the typical option to offer. As I work in sales so I completely understand the need to offer the more expensive package deal - I didn’t mind paying that amount as I had saved a bit of money so no complaint there. After weeks of following the given instructions to a T. I purchased the whole entire oral b whitening range (no joke including an electric toothbrush with whitening heads) basically everything the hygienist and dentist recommended I bought. Finally started my treatment, 2wk in came in to see the dentist to get a final round of whitening and gave it a week and started to notice a lot patching which I showed the dentist and said just needs another month to settle. A week after my teeth started getting darker so I went back in again and was told repeatedly of this product “guarantees a B1 result” “it is 100% guaranteed to give the result you want” etc .. that’s all I kept hearing yet wasn’t seeing the results when I went in for my final appointment the dentist I was seeing changed his tune after I told him I wasn’t happy with the results and said “I don’t think we can give you the result you want” and that my teeth were on the darkest end of the spectrum (which as I said before I have pictures and weren’t at the darkest) and then proceed to book me an appointment to fit me in for braces (when I said from the very beginning it was not what I wanted as I opted for bonding once the whitening treatment was done ) I would’ve preferred if I wasn’t sold dreams and told to purchase the more expensive treatment. If you knew you couldn’t do it please don’t take advantage of people from the start. I’m now out £650 with nothing to actually show for it.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Carisbrook for replacement crowns. I have needed crowns for many years due to tetracycline staining but the treatment I received this time has been amazing . Tariq has taken so much time & care to get my teeth exactly as I wanted. He discussed each step with me in detail beforehand. Such a different experience to my past crown replacements ! He recommended whitening first to improve the colour of my other teeth which worked so well .I also saw Lisa one of the hygienists as my gums needed work first. She was fabulous & I’m continuing to look after my gums now thanks to her. I would highly recommend this practice. All the staff are lovely & helpful. Thank you. I’m so happy with my new smile!

Fantastic experience: Excellent! I can’t recommend this practice enough. After some bad experiences at other practices I am no longer anxious of going to the dentist. Rhys has been absolutely fantastic. Makes you feel at ease and explains everything perfectly. I was disappointed when Lisa the hygienist left but Angela has not missed a beat and is brilliant.
