Fantastic experience: Over several months I had a treatment plan completed by Dr Nick Dhokia. This included cleaning, an extraction, fixing broken teeth, fillings and a much needed mouthguard. Nick was excellent and I would highly recommend him! Every step of the way Nick was reassuring, transparent (about costs, recovery, and time for appointments) and confident in his approach. Nick always put me at ease and discussed treatment options respectfully, as well as talking me through each procedure each appointment. If you’re looking for a dentist that will listen, offer transparent and professional advice and then deliver on the treatment plan then Nick is the dentist for you!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a dentist to do pinhole gum surgery. I googled and the smile cliniq came on my search. I contacted them and booked an appointment to see doctor Evdokia. She was super professional and told me that the retraction on my gums were quite bad and the results of the surgery might not be as I would expect. I decided to go ahead regardless. She did a brilliant job, and I have now a complete new smile that I am proud of. Excellent team work. I would highly recommend the smile cliniq and specially Dr. Evdokia. She was excellent from beginning till the end.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a gum graft performed by Dr. Evdokia. My gum recession was very severe, and Dr. Evdokia did an amazing job! It's now been almost 3 weeks since the operation, and my mouth is healing really well. Its also helped me feel more confident and happier about my smile. I usually get very nervous about dental procedures, but Dr. Evdokia is lovely and always put me at ease.

Fantastic experience: I had to undergo a complicated dental procedure which was a bit daunting, but right from the start I knew I was in safe hands. The level of care given by Dr Viraj Patel and his assistant Koriline was off the scale. Every procedure was carried out with an outstanding degree of professionalism and consideration. Fantastic experience: Smile Cliniq provides an excellent dental service. I have had superb care for years from Ms Sarita Kotecha, in a range of dentistry including root canal work and extraction. Despite having come to this practice a nervous patient with poor experiences elsewhere, I have developed complete trust in Ms Kotecha, who is an extremely accomplished dentist and balances high-level comprehensive professional skill with personal care and attention. She gives straightforward practical advice and has enabled me to make sensible choices which have improved my dental health and well-being. All the practice staff are respectful of patients and friendly. The practice is well-managed, well-maintained and clean and provides a pleasant modern environment. I cannot recommend Smile Cliniq highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Was really worried about the oncoming pain I was experiencing especially given the Christmas period so luckily I got booked in. A few hours later and I am out of pain and literally only slightly felt the first scratch of a needle then nothing. This was such a relief as I had an abscess under the root of my tooth so had to have root canal and rebuild etc on top. Dr Varaich and her nurse Hodan were absolutely on it and their communication ensured the procedure went smoothly with a great result for me. The whole process was seamless from Reema in reception right through to being out of the door by 930am! I can now have a pain free Christmas. Thank you so much to the excellent Dr Varaich and team!

Fantastic experience: I had toothache for about 8 weeks. Went to 3 other dentists who could not help. Christan did a very tricky root canal procedure and saved the tooth which had been infected for a long time. It did not hurt, took an hour and 15 minutes. Eating without pain at last. Many thanks. I am most grateful also to the other dentist Eva who explained another option of an implant. The nurse assisting Christan was knowledgeable and Receptionist welcoming and efficent

Fantastic experience: All I can say is that the treatments that I have received from Sarita, Krish Ravinder, Hodan and Suzy has been faultless I unfortunately had a cracked tooth, which was treated very swiftly and with care and consideration. Fantastic experience: Over the years I suffered through depression and neglected my teeth. Out of embarrassment I was hesitant to go to the dentist. I decided I would try and if I didn’t like it, at least I tried. I went to see Krishen Shah, he could not have been more understanding, kind and empathetic. Made me feel so comfortable. On top of that he is also super talented and you can tell he cares about what he does. He did immense work and I was super grateful for his help. I thought he was so good that if he left smile and went to another branch, I would follow him to that branch. Lovely person and highly talented at his job. You won’t find anyone better. Negative experience: I had a very painful and bad experience with Dr Ravinder Varaich. She did 8 teeth fillings in 2 sessions and she left me with an unbearable pain. I went back, but she said she can't see anything on the x-ray. I had horrible pain for almost 2 months and 6 months later I woke up with a swollen face. Luckily, I was in Romania and the dentist confirmed that I had a huge infection at one of the tooth that dr Varaich did. He treated the tooth and the root canal with antibiotics and it took almost 1 year to treat the infection. Very unprofessional for dr Varaich to let me with that pain and not be able to identify the cause of the pain and help me. This happened in 2020 when I couldn't travel back to Romania to my dentist because of the pandemic. I had an emergency so I searched for a clinic with good reviews, but unfortunately the experience was very veru bad as described above. Since this episode, I only go back to my dentist in Romania who does a great job and I never had any teeth pain.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointing experience – avoid at all costs! I recently booked a deep dental hygiene treatment at this clinic for £110 and was shocked by the poor service and unreasonable fees. I was told on the phone that the £40 charge I paid upfront was just a deposit in case of a no-show, and that it would be deducted from the overall treatment cost. However, when I called to let them know I was running late (due to two Uber cancellations), they refused to accommodate and said I would need to pay another £40 to reschedule! It’s outrageous that instead of understanding the realities of living in London, where transport issues are common, they were only interested in recharging me. Most clinics are usually accommodating when things like this happen, but here, customer service seems to be the last priority. Additionally, £110 for what is supposed to be a “20-minute deep dental hygiene” treatment feels like a complete rip-off. I was already uncomfortable with the price, and the extra fee to reschedule is just beyond bad practice. The girl on the phone couldn’t care less and when I asked to speak to a manager she said there is no manager Honestly, if you’re looking for a clinic that values its clients, this is not the place. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Fantastic experience: This is not my usual dentist. However my usual NHS dentist couldn’t see me sooner to fix my front tooth (filling fell off). Hence, I looked around with good reviews and near to my work area. It was a very good experience overall. From the friendly receptionist to the dentist, Dr Ravinder Varaich who’s genuine care for her patient, and go beyond expectation and service that I paid for. If you are someone lives nearby and looking to register a new dentist, or like to change dentist or emergency fix, I strongly recommend Smile Clinique.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sarita has been the best! I had gone through orthodontic treament when I was a kid in my country, and a mishap with my permanent retainer made me seek out orthodontic help once more. I was looking for clinics that could help me with the issue I had but nobody accepted new patients until I came across Smile Cliniq. The people there are all incredibly nice. When I spoke to Dr. Sarita and expressed my concerns about the financial aspect of the treatment, she made sure she would explain in detail all the alternatives I had, before I could decide which treatment I wanted to go through with and gave me plenty of time to consider my options instead of making me rush into things. When I chose which treatment I wanted, she made sure she would find the best available optons for me to avoid adding unecessary costs to the overall treatment. Needless to say that she gave me the best first impression and she is an amazing person and a very capable doctor. Negative experience: Been a customer for years and they cancel my appointment via text at short notice… to watch the euro final (which is on a different day and was known to be happening when I booked and for the days since). They clearly give zero regard for customer service

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience with Dr Krishen Shah. He was patient, clear and realistic in explaining the risks and thorough from initial consultantation appointment right through to end. I had a dental abscess due to an infection from a dead tooth which I had neglected for a long period of time. The treatment provided removed the abscess and infection using root canal treatment over three visits. I found Dr Shah extremely passionate about his job and providing me with the best treatment plan possible for my situation. The supporting team were also very professional, polite and made me feel at ease. Highly recommended and now the only person I will trust with my teeth.

Negative experience: AVOID this dentist at all cost. They are hustlers and scammers. I went in for tooth pain after having done veneers abroad. They told me i needed a root canal for over 1100£ after examining me 5 mins and was very confident about it. I decided then to go visit another dentist in Maida Vale which was recommended to me and they told me that no root canal was needed and its impossible to tell by the naked eye and a 5 min examination. The dentist in Maida Vale told me my jaw needed time to realign itself and made a small mould was made to put in my mouth that would help. To this day i no longer have any pain. If i had done the root canal i would have destroyed my teeth and have more problems that would have never ended and benefited this place with multiple visits. Avoid this place like the plague doesn't get any more rogue than here. Crooks

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal treatment here as my local dentist and many other dentist were unable to do this type of complex root canal. At first i wasnt happy with the price, but after hours of research and tolerating the pain, i concluded, its expensive everywhere. I had a appointment with Dr Krishnen Shah and I want to express my thanks. He was brilliant, During the procedure, he explained throughout what he is doing and quite clearly, you can see the quality of the service. He is very knowledgeable and an asset to this clinic.. Fantastic experience: Delighted with results of Bio-Clear by Dr Krishen Shah and Carolina. A combination of unnecessary teeth extraction as a child and 2 rounds of orthadontic treatment meant I had gum recession but also significant bone erosion in my lower front teeth. The black triangles were some of the worst Dr. Krishen had seen and I would concur. Not helped by the fact my teeth themselves were inverted triangular shaped. I had exposed dentine. I talked to people with my hand across my lower lip or in a way that my lower lip wouldn't move. The treatment, all done in around 2 hours, has been transformative. The triangles are gone and in their place Is what looks like completely normal teeth with no gaps. The colour match is excellent as well. And since the treatment I have had no discomfort or sensitivity whatsoever which was what I was expecting. But it's the difference to my confidence and interaction with people that has been so incredible, to the point that I no longer even think about my teeth when I'm talking as i no longer see people's gaze shifting to my mouth as I speak. If you have concerns about black triangles then I firmly recommend Bio clear with Doctor Krishen. Hes very talented and committed to doing a wonderful job. I knew the result would be good and I'm more than delighted with it.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic people the best and most pain free treatment I have ever had. Having had metal fillings taken out using traditional methods and then the Smart system I can say paying the extra is really worth it. I had side effects for weeks afterwards with traditional removal. No adverse effects what so ever with the smart system.

The clinic is super clean and all staff are very friendly, Dr Krishen was very professional and put me at ease, thoroughly explained what he was going to do and the reason for doing the treatment. Dr Abeer Shehadeh has done a great job on my teeth (removal of mercury fillings; other stuff) and was also really good at discussing with me what she intended to do. Negative experience: I have had an appointment booked by St John’s Wood branch to undergo dental hygiene in preparation of pinhole surgery for gum recession in their Finchley branch today. The store have failed to provided me with the best route guide to get to the branch which caused an unnecessarily prolonged journey to travel to the clinic and resulted missing my appointment time. Despite my best effort to attend the store in person today I have been informed that the doctor could not see me and an additional £200 was required to the £250 deposit to reschedule. In their appointment confirmation email their policy clearly stated that a missed appointment would be charged at £75 for every half and hour but they have changed me £200 for 45 minute missed appointment. When I questioned the receptionist she could not provide any sounding explanation, then their practice manager emailed me the policy with different figure of £100 per half an hour which is contradicting my appointment confirmation figure sent by them via email. In any case 45 minutes do not equate to £200. Per their policy customers are required to provide 24/48 hours notification to cancel or change an appointment but on my previous appointment at St John’s Wood they only notified the change of my appointment less than 12 hours prior to the appointment. So according to their own policy they should pay me £75x2 =£150 or £100*2=£200 for notification less than 24/48 hours as my previous appointment is booked for an hour. They have never acknowledged their part of the failed responsibility towards customer per their own store policy. It feels like they just make up their policy as they go along which is upmost unprofessional and un acceptable. When I requested to see the terms and conditions in store, they could not provide this and I was informed that there were no manager in store. They could not provide receipts for my payments and for simply querying their policy in an extremely polite and calm manner I was asked to leave as my question was stressing the receptionist out. Would not recommend such clinic to anyone, be careful with your deposit as you are unlikely to see any of it, the policies and procedures are made up to suit them but above all to con you out of your hard earned cash. If I could give zero stars it would probably reflect the experience perfectly.

Fantastic experience: Dr Krishen Shah is an amazing and very skilled dentist. The various dental nurses who worked alongside him throughout my treatment were fantastic too. He and the whole team here are so lovely, down to earth and friendly. I went to Krishen for fixed braces as i didn’t want Invisalign and he managed to straighten my teeth and improve my smile in a matter of months! He really listens to you and he will do whatever he can to get your teeth as perfect as possible with your cooperation. I attended every few weeks for him to check on my progress and get adjustments and the time just flew by. Now i have finished and my smile looks better than i expected. I highly recommend Krishen and this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Not fan of dentists and yes hadn't been in some time but sure usually this catches up with you. Had quite a bit of pain, booked emergency appointment with Dr. Krish (and admittedly due to some of the previous reviews) and didn't regret it. Super kind, honest but not patronising in any way and makes you feel at ease when visiting (wouldnt say I love dentists now but defo less anxious). Turned out quite a bit of work needed to be done (my own fault of course) but very aware that financials are different for everyone, so clearly suggested what to prioritise and what could be done later. Reception was also always nice. Facilites are modern and clean. Overall a very good experience and can only recommend Dr Krish (not saying the others ain't nice but had no dealings with them).

It was a routine check up but had been suffering sporadic toothache, which turned out to be just poor flossing technique. Fantastic experience: Updating my previous review to represent my latest Dentist who has been brilliant doing a root canal treatment and having to redo my crowns due to the decay left from previous treatment years ago. My latest Dentist is very detailed orientated, I was quite impressed with the level of high-standards he put himself through and the open narration through-out making sure not only the patient was top priority but also his work due to his motivation and enthusiasm of his craft. Really impressed and happy to go there again! --- Very happy with the result and entire process through out. Fantastic experience: You can just tell by the things he says that Krishen is 100% committed to achieving the best results for you. I went to him with a lot of problems and discomfort and I really thought I was going to lose 3 teeth. He went through all my options, explained everything very thoroughly and drew up a treatment plan. Fantastic experience: Krish has been my dentist for around three years and I can honestly say I think he’ll be my dentist for life! I had to have (train track) braces and reconstructive work which was lengthy and expensive. When he first gave me a breakdown I was shocked at the cost and time it would take, but after seeing other dentists I realised that his plan was best for the long term care of my teeth and also he wasn’t cutting corners just to be cheaper. Over the years we’ve become friends and I trust him completely because he is passionate about teeth and will always try and do the best for his patients. Negative experience: I'm not someone who usually writes reviews but I wanted to share my experience with Smile Cliniq. I booked for a routine check up, I found the dentist to be intense and not very personable. She listed a number of potential problems such as the nerve in my front tooth could by dying and it would cause my tooth to go black, this caused a lot of stress and anxiety. I felt pressured into having additional x-rays at an extra cost despite explaining that I had had X-rays in the last 6 months and was told everything was fine. I then felt pressured to see a specialist within the practice (at an extra cost) to check my front tooth - I was told it was fine. I understand that the dentist needs to inform patients of their findings but could have been relayed differently. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who suffers from anxiety or worries about going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I started coming to this practice for treatment about a year ago. I have had several bad experiences with dentists previously, especially during my childhood. I always felt extremely anxious to visit the dentist due to these past experiences, but Dr Krishen has changed that. He is the best dentist I have ever received treatment from. He's calm, knowledgeable and confident in his craft. I went to him believing that my dental issues could not be resolved and that I'd probably have to die with them, but he fixed all the problems with my teeth. This included removing a problematic wisdom tooth which other highly experienced dentists told me I should never get removed if I wanted my sense of taste and smell to stay intact. I was in fact told I would have to go to a hospital to book the procedure in because it would be so complex. It took Dr Krishen 20 minutes to remove the tooth and I haven't had a single issue since then. He's taken care of all the other complaints I had with my teeth, and he's re-introduced that confidence back into my life. He's not only a genius, he's also kind and sensitive to his patient's needs. And he's got a good sense of humour which helps when you're lying in that chair with your mouth open. I could go on forever about how unbelievably smooth my journey has been with Dr Krishen, he loves what he does, and it shows in the way he deals with his patients. Book with him if you are seeking happiness and ease in your life.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Dr. Ravinder has been amazing. I started my Invisalign treatment in Nov 2021. At the beginning, I was quite skeptical about this treatment, for it can be costly and - like all things in life - it takes a lot of commitment and dedication from the patient. One year later the results are just incredible. I am so happy with my smile now. I never used to smile in pictures before, or quite rarely, now I have gained way more confidence and smile all the time. Dr Ravinder has played a key role in all this. She was very patient, welcoming, she provided all sorts of advice and tips on how to be 'compliant' (for Invisalign to be effective, you should wear aligners 20/22 hours a day), how to take care of my aligners, how to remove and put them on etc. Generally, paying a visit to your dentist is something we would all prefer to avoid, but for the very first time in my life I have been looking forward to meeting with her every single time as I felt safe and taken care of. Dr Ravinder is very flexible and accommodating as well. Because of work, I have had to reschedule my appointments a couple of times as I am often in calls with other time zones, sometimes meetings pop up in my calendar with very short notice, but she always reached out to me with alternatives. Also, Smile Cliniq front office staff are very professional, patient, polite, and always welcomed me with a warm smile on their face. Shout out to Ellie in particular who helped me reschedule my appointments a couple of times during this last year and always replied to my emails in a timely and efficient manner. The whole organisation is just brilliant. One week prior to your appointment, you get reminders so that you don't forget. If you have a fairly busy schedule like myself, having automated reminders is very useful. Thank you, Dr Ravinder! Fantastic experience: I went to Dr. Krishen Shah after my crown had cracked and fallen out. Dr. Shah had previously executed a root canal which was, by all means, a difficult case due to the state of my tooth at the time. Nevertheless, it was carried out with upmost speed and accuracy. The crown later cracked (most likely due to me grinding my teeth) and yet, I was treated with nothing less than the best service and understanding. I would honestly recommend Dr. Shah to anyone seeking dental treatment—root canals, crowns or otherwise! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I had gum treatment/surgery with Dr Evdokia Chasioti. With any kind of surgery it can be daunting but she explained and guided me through each step of the procedure. Dr Evdokia Chasioti made me feel totally at ease, relaxing and comfortable from start to finish. She's very professional as well as warm, friendly and caring. The post-surgery after care was also excellent. For example, one of the receptionists called me up the next day to see/enquire if I was alright and need any further assistance. I'm extremely pleased and happy with the result. Dr Evdokia Chasioti and her assistant provided me excellent service. I highly recommend her. Also, I would like to give a shout out to the receptionists they are friendly, warm and helpful. They provided excellent customer service.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Varaich is my favourite dentist so far.(In life). She cares about your health and it's blatantly clear. I've seen intelligence dossiers in films thinner than the educational material and appointment notes she creates and gives to patients. Everything is incredibly detail-oriented, well thought-out, and clear for an average overwhelmed/scared person to understand. She turned around my dental care as I apparently had apathetic dentists previously who cared little about me or my health. I originally went in for an emergency treatment out of desperation but it turned out to be a great chance discovery! I've told all my friends in London about the practice and will continue to do so! Fantastic experience: I needed my fixed bottom retainers replaced and i found this cliniq on google and decided to give it a try. Dr Ravinder was the one that assisted me throughout the whole process as i ended up having more work done. She was kind, patient and precise at every step of the way to get it all done correctly. So much so that when i needed a crown after a root canal she sent the crown back to the laboratory twice before cementing it just to make sure the crown did fit perfectly when cemented. Would absolutely recommend Dr Ravinder to every and anyone.

Negative experience: I was seeing Dr Aulak and had braces fitted by him. Once I had my braces removed, Dr Aulak fitted a small fixed retainer and I went on my way. During the covid lockdown however, my teeth started moving back and the small fixed retainer broke and was cutting my tongue. When I returned to the practice, I was told that Dr Aulak had left and I got given another dentist. The dentist told me that I should have been using a removable retainer as the small fixed one behind my teeth wasn’t enough to prevent my teeth from moving. I got told that I would have to pay more to have the broken fixed retainer removed and a new permanent retainer made (over £400) even though this should have been provided when my braces were first removed. When I complained about this I was told that as my braces had been removed over a year ago there was nothing that could be done as I should have raised it sooner. But I hadn’t been able to come in because I was living with someone very vulnerable during covid. So altogether I spent thousands on braces only to now have my teeth move back again. The dentist wouldn’t even remove my broken fixed retainer without further payment. It was only when I said how it was cutting into my tongue that she removed one piece of metal that was sticking out, but she left the rest of the broken retainer pieces on. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Sarita Kotecha since she started about 20 years ago - in fact, I think I was her first unsupervised tooth extraction, which she did perfectly and painlessly. She's a caring, diligent and extremely skilled dentist and I'd recommend her and Smile Cliniq to anyone without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I have been a happy patient in Smile Cliniq for years and always received professional service. All the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I have received two treatments recently. One was to fit the implant crown by Dr Chetan and the other one was a filling done by Dr Krishen. In both cases, I was very pleased with the efficient service. The clinic was running on time. It felt like I was in and out of the surgery but without rushing and with a high standard of dentistry performed. The crown fitted straight away with no adjustment needed, and neither did the filling although being in 'a tricky area'. Very happy.

Negative experience: I have a real fear of dentists after a bad experience during childhood. I visited Smile Cliniq ( Dr Kotecha) after a cracked tooth left me with infection. She assured me she was over 90% sure she could successfully resolve it by performing a root canal herself. After having the first stage of root canal, I was experiencing pain and discomfort - at this stage she'd fitted a temporary crown. She said it was just the gum settling down and would disappear. By the time I came for the next appointment within a couple of weeks, I was still experiencing the same discomfort but she just repeated the same without even an X-ray to check and just went ahead fitting the permanent crown which cost me nearly £700. At my final appointment, I told her the discomfort was still there - only at this stage she took an X-ray and said the bone in the gum had been cracked during the root canal process. This could have been established before I'd paid the additional £700 to fit the perm. crown. She then blamed the fact that the top of my enamel had been cracked in the first place as to the reason why she'd broken my bone underneath. Unbelievable! I'd paid over £1,000 for the root canal but they refused to refund any of it. Instead they offered me half price to pay for the cost of rectifying the problem. Would you go back to the same dentist to pay even more money to trust them to repair the problem but more likely make it worse and shirk responsibility?! The experience left me with a greater fear of dentists. I've been living with the pains so far but know at some stage I'll need to try to trust a new dentist to fix the issue. A have huge regret trusting Smile Cliniq and spending so much money there
