Positive experience: After waiting few months for my appointment vs mister jankevicius I was very confused with appointment appointment lasted approximately 12 minutes which I was expecting longer as I paid for an hour didn’t get proper explanation didn’t got any suggestions what would suit me the best with my case,internet wasn’t working reception couldn’t take payments couldn’t book appointments,after all they give me next appointments 2 appointments which I needed all day from 9 to all the way to 6 pm was a red flag and all staff was looking frustrated only one person was really nice tall woman with black long hair was only one who was trying to engage.

We want to clarify that the payment you made was for the CT scan, which was conducted on the day of your appointment, not for the initial consultation itself, which is offered free of charge. The CT scan is a diagnostic procedure that incurs a separate fee.
Regarding the consultation time, we strive to give each patient the time they need to address their specific concerns. Consultation times vary depending on the complexity of the case and the individual patient's needs. In your particular situation, a solution was proposed, which required three follow-up appointments. To save you multiple trips, we booked these appointments for the same day, which you agreed to at the time of scheduling. Had you preferred to schedule these appointments on separate days, that would have been entirely accommodated.
We sincerely apologize for the internet disruption. Unfortunately, this was due to an external service provider issue, and we were unable to resolve it immediately. We understand how frustrating this can be, and we regret any inconvenience it caused.

Negative experience: I am massively disappointed with this place. After reading all the reviews I have expected the practice to be ‘like back home’ in Baltic countries since all the staff is from Lithuania and it was recommended to be of very high quality. However, I have had a very disappointing visit there today where I was charged £90 for an oral hygiene that is advertised to last 1 hour yet lasted 20 minutes! The hygienist Ana ( girl with the dark hair) is annoyingly chatty and will talk about random things trying to fill in that ‘hour’ with talk before and after yet she only spent 20 minutes on my teeth! I could tell because the clock was right in front of me. Having attended my last oral hygiene in Latvia the difference in quality of service is huge. After my last oral hygiene done back home my teeth were 2 shades whiter and extremely shiny and polished and I payed a fraction of the price - I think it cost me €20 or €30. The hygiene actually did last at least an hour or more and thorough attention was given to each of my teeth. None of this was achieved with this visit here! Oral hygiene done at Complex Smile was just a quick whizz around and in between my teeth and lots of chat and wasted time which cost me £90! That was not worth it AT ALL! To make it worse I have actually come for a visit from another city since this clinic had such good reviews and wasted a lot of additional time and money which didn’t worth it at all in the end. Another off-putting point is that on their website they actually advertise the price as £80 but then just add another tenner quoting it is for COVID PPE which is very misleading for customers and is actually against the law to charge a different amount than what is advertised. I am extremely disappointed with my visit as I expected a lot more care given to my teeth given the price so I do not recommend this clinic at all and will not be returning.

Positive experience: Not very happy, be careful before you sign any doc’s with this clinic. MUST ask for treatment plan and prices. Oh, well…and dont forget to ask what implant you getting and Implant Passport before you leave..(i had to ask myself to get passport after treatment was finished, they said i get it by email, then assistant run in office and gave me a blue book..) btw passport details did not match what I was told to have,,, and expecting to have…so communication with patients could be better….Anyway SMILE

Negative experience: Decent services for the price, but really awful communication between the clinic and the patient. The dentist didn’t listen when I told them I bleed a lot and sent me home without stitches. Had to come back and get stitches a couple of hours later because the bleeding wouldn’t stop.

Negative experience: Very disappointed when at 21st century I got an answer sorry we can NOT help you from such a good doctor?? Went to another clinic and they are telling you there is some challenges but don't you worry we will help you. So Rokas where from you are taking all your experience and good reviews, from easy work carried out? Everyone can do that. And just very low amount of specialist can actually help people with difficult situations. And you are not the one, unfortunately.

They booked me in the same day and even stayed open after they should have closed to fit me in to get a new tooth fitted. I have never experienced this level of dedication and customer service before. When I arrived everything was explained clearly to me and the work Ruta carried out was exceptional. Negative experience: Last week I had an appointment at this clinic for tooth filling. The dentist who treated me was Ruta Karveliene. Before treatment, I had to undergo anaesthetic injections, in order to numb the area prior to drilling. However, as I was still feeling pain whilst drilling into my tooth, I was injected over and over again. This felt unusual as I should not have had so many injections for the appropriate numbing effect to take place. After the treatment and on the way home, half of my face became paralysed to the point that I could not even close my eye or raise my eyebrow on the side where I was injected with anaesthetic. Hours passed, and half my face was still paralysed. I felt extremely worried, so had to go to the A&E section at my local hospital. The paralysing effect lasted at least 12 hours and I spent all night at A&E and did not even arrive home until around 7am the next day. I was meant to go to work that day, but couldn't as had no sleep during the night, and the experience was terrifying as I wasn't sure if I would even recover. This whole experience has been absolutely horrendous, and for a dentist to inject someone to the point of paralysing half a face for 12 hours is negligent and reckless. This experience has been traumatising physically and mentally. When I phoned to speak to the dentist the day afterwards, I was not even asked how I was, and was shown no concern at all. The only person who showed some concern was person at the reception. I’ve been visiting this clinic several times before but after this experience never coming back here again. Reply to your answer: Yes we have to give our consent to the doctors by signing forms otherwise procedures won’t be performed but it does not give the right for doctors to be negligent and careless as she clearly was. Even in A&E I have been told that either it was way to much anaesthetics injected or procedure was performed incorrectly. Also I haven’t been told that it might last more than 12 hours. Thank you for sending me the name of anaesthetics I have been injected but that’s all you provided to me and it doesn’t change my unpleasant experience.

We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. Even though it is quite rare, some people experience temporary side effects from a local anaesthetic. Therefore we have a strict policy to get the patient's consent prior to every procedure where local anaesthesia is involved. We can see that you were informed about the procedure and all the risks of it by a written consent form which was confirmed by your signature on the day of your appointment with doctor Ruta. As you were informed, the risks and side effects include:
- Fainting bruising
- Soreness
- Allergy
- Swelling
- Lockjaw
- Hematoma
- Infection
- Palpitations
- Fast heart beat
- Mild dizziness
- Paresthesia (Tingling and/or numbness)
- Short term Paresthesia (Tingling and/or numbness)
- Risk of lip chewing
- Trismus
- Nausea
- Temporary Facial Numbness (Facial Nerve)
- Temporary problem with closing eye on same side (Facial Nerve)
Although side effects are temporary, they can be disturbing and upsetting, so we always make sure that the patient is fully informed and aware of the possible temporary consequences.
We are pleased to hear that you received support from our administrator, who is a direct contact between the patient and the doctor. We can see from our records that on the day you have contacted us by phone, our administrator forwarded the matter of your case to the dentist and asked to specify the anaesthetics used during your procedure. Administrator got back to you with all the information required as soon as received the doctor's comments and advice.

Negative experience: I would never recommend this place went in for a check up and started telling me that so many of my teeth are bad that it will cost a couple thousand ended up going to a different dentist and told me that all of those teeth are fine. Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, clean praxis and excellent procedures for a very competitive price. The doctor could be slightly more proactive in communicating, but he answers all questions competently. I had an implant and a crown made there and both feel like my own teeth. I was surprised at how well the crown fitted, from the first moment on it was like "yeah, that's my tooth". Great job!

Negative experience: Before I was going to the clinic I did read reviews so I didn’t hesitated the clinic was unable to help me which is ok very negative vibes I felt from Dr Rokas he did enter the room not even saying hello impolite full of himself would say no people skills at all in reception you could hear the staff conversation I would say I am lucky I was not been able to treated there as is felt the clinic is just interesting in patients money it’s my own opininio.Mrs Inga Kupkiniene
