Fantastic experience: Been using Tryst Dental since I returned from the Army over 23 years ago, the staff are brilliant, but a bit sad that Leslie is taking a career break as she is a fabulous dentist and will be missed, however I wish her all of the best and hope that the practice will continue with the practice's she put in place to make tryst one of the best practice's in Falkirk.

Fantastic experience: Broke tooth on Friday night, phoned up on Monday morning at 8.50am. For appointment same day. Temporary filling in. Go back in 2 weeks for permanent filling. Top service, well done all at Tryst. Been a patient for about 30 years.

Positive experience: frst class fom start to finish well done just the waiting time for next appointment but the staff are working on that

Negative experience: Used to be great a few years back. It's since changed ownership and seems to have drastically gone down hill as far as providing a service is concerned. I've not managed to get an appointment for about 18 months now as my appointments keep getting cancelled due to staff shortages. I'm now in the process of moving to another dentist with an initial checkup booked in. Even getting through to reception is now an issue. I've tried calling 3 times this morning and the telephony queuing system has disconnected me each time after about 10 mins. I'm only calling out of common courtesy to say I'm switching to another dentist.

Positive experience: Was happy that I got temporary treatment so quickly but disappointed I now have to wait until September to get the tooth fixed

Positive experience: I had a complex procedure carried out by Shibil on 4th April. I had several appointments for impressions and I have to say that I am really happy with the outcome. The only downside of the practice is the availability of appointments and I hope they are successful in recruiting additional dentists to help with this problem.

Negative experience: Was a great practice a few years ago. Went today with my 9 year old for a tooth extraction, which would have been avoided in the first place if appointments were available. She was screaming and crying in the chair with this extraction. Clearly something was not done correctly. What trauma you have caused. I am disgusted with this as a mother watching this happen. She is a good patient also, having had fillings in the past with Alana who was fantastic with our family. Very upsetting.

Fantastic experience: Always a great service, just wish they had more dentists so that time between appointments were shorter.

Negative experience: After waiting over 18 months for an appointment and receiving a phone call from the practice trying to cancel the appointment we finally were taken needing 3 fillings great when can I get work done to be told at least another year 35 years in this practice and never felt so let down I have read other reviews and have to question there experience I felt that disgusted I wrote to our local mp

Negative experience: I have been with Tryst dental practice for many years and I feel really disappointed in having to write this. Back in 2021 and a few months after having my first baby my tooth health deteriorated and one of my back teeth crumbled exposing the nerve. I phoned for an emergency appointment and was told I couldn’t be seen and to take paracetamol. I phoned back a couple of weeks later when I could no longer deal with the pain and I managed to get it fixed. I went on to have my second baby and in May 2023 four months after giving birth I felt another tooth becoming sore so I phoned for a routine check up and was told I could not been seen. As I wanted to preserve as much of my tooth as possible I begged if I could have an appointment as I just had a baby and explained what happened to my tooth last time and I made that clear to the receptionist but they told me to phone back when it was actually an emergency as in my tooth crumbling . I asked could I book an appointment for future so I could at least have something to aim for but they told me to phone back in 4 months to see if there was an appointment then but I couldn’t book one. I just feel that this was a terrible way to treat a postpartum patient and I should have had access to dental treatment for 12 months. I have since registered at another dentist and their service as been amazing. I feel really let down by Tryst Dental Practice.

Positive experience: Appointment was progressive after a year of. Starting but to say I would have a other 3 appointments was difficult to take up to August ? Very disappointed @waiting time 1half years since start of treatment unbelievable!!!!!!

Negative experience: Absolute circus, all over the place. Never been the same since under new ownership, sad to see standards drop so much

Negative experience: Staff lovely enough but the place is a shambles. Been waiting to get a fractured tooth out and root canal for ages. Literally no appointments cause they are understaffed or have no dentists? Different dentist everytime I go in. Get an emergency appointment to clarify I have a fractured tooth and an infected abscess..too busy to take it out so stick some Playdoe in it, charge me and confirm they will get back to me with an appointment... months of toothache and still no call..get an emergency appointment again to get a temporary fix which has lasted days. Still to busy to remove a fractured tooth? Surely no. All the staff are friendly and polite people who are clearly ran off their feet but whatever is happening behind the scenes needs looked into to aid the staff so they can provide a better service. Paying for temporary fixes twice for a worse condition in my mouth is kinda rubbish tbh. A just want my gammy tusk out

Fantastic experience: Delighted at how quickly they could fit me in and start the process of regaining my smile. I would like to add after a second required emergency appointment some three months later, that I was again fitted in really quickly. I was in serious pain. All of the staff were amazing and I am very grateful their help and professionalism.

Positive experience: The treatment itself no problem with iwas the only patient in the place as I was first after lunch but the dentist and her nurse continued to chat and have a laugh leaving me to worry about what was about to come. I am one off the pations that is terrified off the dentist but I was left for 15minuets after my appointment not a good experience.

Fantastic experience: I've been using Tryst since I came to live in this area in 2002. I have had attention since then up to present. Nothing but good attention, care and satisfaction is my experience. The current situation is me awaiting for Tryst to provide me with a 40 minute appointment for treatment I was warmly welcomed at reception both on arrival and quickly attended to. The appointment was prompt and the inspection informative. I was told what was going on throughout my time in the 'chair' I had space to ask a few questions and I could understand the replies For me it was very pleasant and as best these consultations could possibly be. No hesitation in saying this was another 5 star visit to Tryst.

Positive experience: Dentist treatment is excellent. Check in and reception not so good. Waited 50 minutes after my appointment to be taken. Was then told that the issue was caused by not being checked in correctly at reception, even though during the wait I asked twice if they had forgotten about me, to be reassured that all was fine and just take a seat.

Fantastic experience: Staff, as usual, very pleasant, had impressions taken, fingers crossed NHS agree to a bridge for me. 19th May, Just had prep done for my bridge, Ms Donaldson & the girls were great, I was a bit anxious but shouldn't have worried, they were brilliant.

I was in excruciating pain(even that is an understatement) and they have worked a miracle it feels like and I am no longer hurting. I had 2 Dentists in with me to try and extract a tooth and as a team they done it. Thank you is also in understatement but it's all I can do for what I received. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Massive Thankyou, To Alana and her team today for helping me get seen very quickly for an abscess, I was in serious pain and after Alana taking x-ray and finding the issue it was fixed and resolved with in 30 mins, can’t thank her enough, no more pain. Negative experience: Had initial appointment in July for a broken tooth, was given temporary repair that lasted only 3 days. Advised by dentist that if I had any issues to contact. I phoned twice to rectify the repair only to be told by the 'dentist police' on reception that i did not meet the criterea for repair. My follow up appointment was 5 months later on November 24th, apparently the earliest they had. I turned up for my appointment only to find out that it had never been made at all. I was told by receptionist she would phone me to arrange another appointment. I week later that call was never made. I called and spoke to 'the manager' who said Febuary was the earliest appointment, I said that I had already waited ovewr 5 months for repair. She told me she's phone me back. Waited another week and that call never happened. I called again and spoke to the most helpful receptionist who manged to find an appointment 2 days later. Not 2/3 months. My repair was completed on that visit. High turnover of staff have at the practice is really showing on the service provided. I've been a patient for almost 35 years and have nevere known it so bad. Really needing to up your game. Receptionists sitting on their mobile phones is not a good impression when I visit.

Fantastic experience: I get really stressed when going to dentist don’t like needles but I can not say that now Lyndsey is brilliant never even felt the needle so happy with my treatment have still got more to get done but not worried about it as I know I’m in good hands The whole team are great, caring and I don’t think you could find a better practice in the Falkirk area.

You feel well looked after and the staff always has the time to answer your questions and offer advice. The only thing that could improve is the availability of appointments as sometimes you have to wait a bit. Saying that I know the practice is dealing with a huge backlog after Covid.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to this practice all my life. And that was the least satisfied I was with my experience. Felt so rushed and as it was an inconvenience. Made an appointment elsewhere privately as I phoned on 23rd of May to get my filings fixed and they can’t get m in until September 4 months! When I phoned back again they then offered me this appointment today in June to get it capped. I got made to feel it was an issue to go elsewhere but really didn’t want to wait any longer incase it made it any worse. Also was wanting them changed to white as can see the silver ones when I smile which was previously done which I wasn’t wanting! It had made me consider changing practice.

Fantastic experience: short notice broken filling from a previous filling e-mailed and phoned back within 30mins. asked if i could pop round in that afternoon a quick check from the lady dentist fixed there and then at no cost . outstand thank you.

Fantastic experience: I was at Tryst recently for a root canal treatment during the latest Covid procedures and have to say I was very impressed by how well run the practice is. Procedures were very strict, they worked very well, and the staff are second to none. The dental surgeon was so nice and polite, explained every procedure thoroughly, and the dental nurse assisting her was the same. They both made me feel so relaxed and calm throughout the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Got a shock when I found out my sore tooth wasn’t the sore one but the sore one needed to be removed!!!! It must be more than 50 years since I had a tooth removed and then I was under anaesthesia. What a coward but as the very nice dentist was prepared to do it there and then I found the courage to go ahead. I was so surprised to find it was really easy and felt really prolific myself. Negative experience: My mum went before covid, was told a tooth needed to come out. Woman got most of it but left a bit, charged 120 quid. She was told it would come out naturally but it never. When she went back, same woman said she'd get the bit out as it might get infected and was going to charge her another 120 quid! Absolutely shocking, people struggling during this time, dentists getting there big pay rise and still after more money.

Glad to be a patient there. I visited the practice again today and as usual I was treated by a very friendly welcome at reception, then I was met by the dentist nurse who took me into the dental room where Alana was Waiting with her usual smile, my treatment went smoothly and I left feeling good with the treatment and service I had received. Can't fault Tryst Dental Practice. Back again at Tryst with a loose tooth, again everyone fantastic especially in these times Tryst staff very professional and welcoming Alana my Dentist removed my tooth with no pain to me it was easier than going to Asda. Keep up your fantastic work and kindness.

Many people comment on my smile and teeth which is testament to how well Alana helps me look after them and monitor/ maintain them

Fantastic experience: Friendly, helpful and very professional staff. Only my first visit, but everything was explained, in great detail, what was required and what the best way forward was. Can’t say I’m looking forward to future dealings with the practice ( It is a Dentist after all) but, certainly made me feel more easy about necessary treatment that is unavoidably required.
