Fantastic experience: I have recently through 111 attended due to requiring an extraction( broken tooth ). I’d not used the practice before, in fact it had been a while since I’d had any of my teeth checked anywhere ! So it was with a cautious approach I attended. Hindsight is a wonderful thing as my actual experience was very good throughout my visit. I was greeted at reception where my details were taken I was then shown to a seating area, after a few minutes I was asked to enter the dentists room. I was throughout the appointment kept up to speed as to what was happening , checked at every stage if I was ok . After the appointment work had finished the dentist gave me a full run down on what had taken place , handed me literature on what to do should for the next day or so , contact numbers should I have any concerns in the near future. All staff had an attitude of nothing was to much trouble very polite and reassuring. Would recommend this practice. I’m not sure how long the practice has been in operation , my only observation was that the decor and appearance within the practice could do with a freshen up, that said the actual dental practice rooms were spotlessly clean. I have been back since and looking forward to visiting again for further work to be carried out. Well done all . In

However, Pearl Smile's app has a serious security issue, as they had failed to copy over my email address correctly when they took over this dental practice. The app however assumes it has the correct email address and sends the final confirmation link to some random person. At the same time it doesn't even display the email address it is using, let alone give me the opportunity to correct it.

Rebecca is an amazing lady always happy to answer any questions, happily listens to any concerns you may have. Very professional lady with a lovely personable manner. The treatment I’ve received from this practice is impeccable. I now have a pain free mouth and it’s such a relief. All staff are very courteous. Negative experience: Hello, I have been waiting for this appointment for a month and a half and today I came for an appointment. The doctor told me that he could not deal with you and sent me away. I am an immigrant and I do not know much English, so he acted racist and discriminated against me. But this suits clinics like yours. Racism and discrimination suits you. I will say this everywhere and always. You are making fun of NHS patients. If you are not going to accept NHS diseases, then do not give appointments. Take money from the state and you know the food. Provide service accordingly. Although I said I was an NHS patient, they kept asking for money and did not look at my aching tooth, they discriminated and acted racist.

Negative experience: Hello, my spouse and I came here for dental treatment 1.5 months ago. They gave us an appointment for today at 3:40 PM. We waited for a month and a half, and when my spouse went in, they just sent them away, saying 'I can't do it.' It feels like they discriminated against us and were racist because we are foreign nationals. This is the first time I've seen a dental clinic act with discrimination and racism, and I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone."

Fantastic experience: Excellent practice, I used to hate going to the dentist as I previously had a very very rough time at my local holmes chapel practice (Butcher of London Rd., Switched several years back and have no regrets, you simply get great service all round, you dont feel like a number just to squeeze you through for cash. treat you with respect , cant say thankyou enough for bringing my teeth back in shape. Something the buthcer never tried or cared to do.

The staff were all wonderful and took great care of me, I was a little nervous as I hadn’t been able to see a dentist for several years but everyone was so friendly it really helped put my mind at ease. I’ll definitely try and return here in future, a real asset to Sandbach.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency situation with my Wisdom tooth. I was looking at a couple of months wait on the NHS even as an emergency. Lucky Harbour Surgery Sandbach every Wednesday have a top oral surgeon in clinic Dr Amit Kutecha. He took care of it. I didn't feel a thing I had oral surgery in the comfort of my own surgery with an expert surgeon. Two days later i was back at work and could get on with my life. Wish I had known sooner! Amazing service from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Had Invisalign treatment with Abid, great guy so easy to talk to, He put me at ease straight away, really professional, great all around dentist, I would highly recommend Abid to everybody I know,he’s changed my life, my teeth look so much better, it has given me loads more confidence to feel comfortable smiling again.

Fantastic experience: From when I was a little girl I had to have quite a lot of dental work (apparently due to medication I was given as a baby which weakened my enamel) and I had to have a lot of teeth extracted as a child due to overcrowding - this made me into an incredibly anxious patient. I’ve been a patient at quite a few dental practices over the years, and my anxiety leading up to appointments was off the scale. Until last summer (2022) when I became a patient of Abid Iqbal at Harbour dental. My first appointment with him I was a nervous wreck when I had my checkup, I then had to book in for an extraction and turned up to that appointment with a stress ball and crying my eyes out. The patience and genuine care he showed me was incredible, he talked me through everything and settled my nerves. He’s now my regular dentist and I have also been on an Invisalign journey with him which I’m now almost at the end of (2 more sets of aligners to go!) I now turn up to my appointments with a big smile on my face, absolutely no anxiety at all anymore and leave feeling happy and relaxed - I actually look forward to my appointments now and that is something I never thought I would say! I can’t recommend him enough, and as dramatic as it sounds he has changed my life. I now have a big smile when I have photographs taken, when for the last 45 years I’ve tried to hide my smile on photos. I’ve got so much more confidence which everyone who knows me has noticed. All the staff at Harbour are incredible and extremely friendly, but Abid in particular deserves a big shout out. Thank you so much for everything, it’s so clear that this is so much more than a job to you, and I will be forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: I went to harbour dental practice to get cosmetic work done to my front teeth I had an implant done a veneer and some composite edging along with some whitening, Savan was very thorough and all the staff made me feel at ease we achieved such a natural smile that I’m so happy with. The service is great a really friendly atmosphere and I can’t thank all of the staff enough for everything they have done. I literally cannot stop smiling and showing off my new smile

Positive experience: Can't fault the clinicians, dentists or staff. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Great service. However decor upstairs is rustic at best. Stairs are worn and trip hazar-(metal edges are proud of carpeting) Seating area is not pleasant. Grubby, shabby , in need of clean paint and removable of old cables etc. Carpet worn and tired. Seating is very low so patients with mobility issues find them hard/impossible to use (me). In need of an overdue face lift/modernisation.

Negative experience: Went for a routine appointment (as an nhs patient) as soon as they opened for general appointments after not being fully open over the pandemic. I have a condition with my teeth, that I was born with, but needed no emergency treatment over that time. I was told after my check up that this was the last appointment as an NHS patient because I didn’t come in during the last 2 years (which fell within the pandemic time) I have now been struck off under nhs treatment and now in need of hospital referral but they want me to pay over £50 private check up fee for me to get that referral.

Only thing I could suggest is the place needs modernising.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling service. I have been a patient of Harbour dental practice for about 20 years. I telephoned them yesterday as I have an abscess on one of my wisdom teeth. I was told I had not used the practise recently and so I had been deregistered, but the lady took all of my details again and said there were no appointments for five days, so I took the appointment offered despite being in a lot of pain. During the course of yesterday and overnight the pain increased and it was difficult to open my mouth due to the swelling and so this morning I telephoned Harbour dental practice to see if there was anything they could do for me. The young girl said that next week was still the earliest they could get me in, and said this would be for a consultation to reregister and then after that an appointment could be made with a dentist. I asked why was I not told this 24 hours earlier, and if I had of been I would have sought an alternative dentist due to the amount of pain that I am in. I also asked that why if I had been deregistered as a patient they not notify me instead of leaving me wrongly thinking I had a dentist. The young girl demonstrated no empathy care or consideration for my situation, she was very abrupt and she might aswell of said, not our problem we don't care. What an absolute shame, it used to be a lovely caring practise but not now. I have read all of the reviews on the Internet and listened today to other people in Sandbach and the dreadful experiences of Harbour dental practice. Thank you so much Harbour dental practice for the appalling service and leaving me in absolute agony and desperately trying to now find a dentist.
