Fantastic experience: Not my actual dentist only referred from my usual dentist as mine does not specialise in implants. Rob has been thoroughly professional and has kept me sane throughout the whole process which is quite a number of appointments for the whole process..felt at ease and there were no issues at all.

Negative experience: I had an experience this morning 23rd June when I had a dental check up and a Hygenist appointment. After having both I was advised at the reception that I owed £55 as the Hygenist said it was owed. I explained that I am on a contract for 4 visits a year but the receptionist embarrassed me in front of other patients saying I owed this fee. I explained that my fees are on someone else's account so please check it out but shesaid "I can't check that". The receptionist kept me hanging around for several minutes whilst arguing with me. Eventually the receptionist emailed somebody who told them I was correct and never apologised to me just said " u can see it from my point of view" NOT AT ALL!, she should have contacted whoever it was who confirmed me being correct immediately. Normally great customer service but not today! Adele Lee

Fantastic experience: I HATE the dentist, but at Inglewood I don't have that fear. I am put at ease straight away from reception to when I see Caroline. Everything is explained thoroughly, I am eased into everything, even my check ups. I still dread going but not as much as I used to. The whole team are great, I would recommend Inglewood to anyone.

Negative experience: Having searched for an Invisalign provider, I came across this practice, which impressed me with its 5-star reviews. So, I went for a consultation and decided to proceed with the treatment. During my treatment, I also decided to move from a practice that I had been a patient of for the last 35 years. I even introduced my husband to Inglewood House to have Invisalign to fill some small gaps in his teeth. Four days before he was due to start treatment, he returned from work abroad feeling unwell and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that had metastasised to his spine and brain and it was at this point we discovered the true face and lack of morality employed at Inglewood House. I cancelled his appointment, explaining why and informed the receptionist of his diagnosis to which she informed me she’d keep his Invisalign to one side until he was ready to commence treatment! I reiterated the diagnosis and said it was highly unlikely he would be well enough to have invisalign, she repeated that it’d be kept to one side for when he’s ready to commence the treatment. Given the gravitas of my husband's condition and knowing that any future treatment would be futile, the comment made me uneasy and anxious about how things were to transpire. When my husband returned home from the hospital, he contacted the practice after a meeting with the oncologist revealed he had a prognosis of around 12 months and would not be able to return to work due to multiple fractures and damage to his spine. He asked to speak to Robert Dorrington, one of the practice owners, who had issued £1,161 in lab fees for Invisalign. The receptionist advised that “Rob wouldn’t speak to a patient about something like this.” A message was passed on asking Rob to reconsider his position on the charges issued - the answer was no, he was standing by his decision. A tooth extraction was needed in order to receive bone-strengthening treatment during his chemotherapy, so the aforementioned Invisalign would not fit his mouth anyway. Robert Dorrington didn't have to charge a terminally ill patient receiving palliative care for treatment he couldn’t have; any decent human being with a moral compass would have spoken to Invisalign, claimed on their business insurance, or made a claim to recoup a trading loss with HMRC. Throughout this stressful ordeal, the receptionist, the practice manager, and the owner have shown no compassion or empathy whatsoever. My husband never received a “sorry to hear of your diagnosis; let’s see how we can help”. It was calculated and cold - “You owe the money, which must be paid”. Inglewood House is a practice owned and run by a husband and wife, both dentists, and they couldn’t help one patient in exceptional and tragic circumstances. I urge those seeking a dental practice with integrity to look elsewhere. Inglewood house owners - I hope that the day you require some leniency for a loved one doesn’t fair with the experience you have put both my husband and me through. Shame on you!

Fantastic experience: I had my annual dental review then headed for the hygienist which resulted in me feeling pain. My teeth came through a mess as they developed in soup containing penicillin. They have never been white, they are not lined up and some or not correctly shaped. The tooth causing the problem is almost at the back and is half in the roof of my mouth. It is ideal for trapping food and a real pain to clean. The hygienist called the dentist who identified a hole just under the gum at the back. She placed a temporary filling as I was due back in a couple of weeks. Being me I had to cancel the appointment as I had Bronchitis (a life long recuring problem). I duly returned the week before Christmas. There had been no problem with the filing so the dentist decided to leave it. The hygienist did come clearing up but I was vagally aware that the cold water had triggered the sensation from the first time, but not much. I have gone through Christmas and the New Year with a niggling unease in my teeth but finally realised I needed pain killers on New Years Eve. I rang the dentist and was squeezed in at lunch time today. The dentist discovered the hole was bigger. In the original discussion of treatment I accepted the position was difficult and had decided of the option, loosing the tooth was the best solution. 1. It is so difficult to lean and is at the back of my mouth. 2. A nerve treatment would be fiddly for the dentist due to the tooth position. 3. I'm 75 and still have most of my teeth. The ugly front tooth was crowned in my 20's. Both my parents ended up with dentures and Dad was only 53 when he died. So I said to the dentist, take it out! I'm now sitting nursing a tender cheek and working out what to have to eat.
