Fantastic experience: I have only just recently moved over to Cirencester Dental Practice after being messed around countless times with my NHS dentist. I recently had to have a filling replaced and decay to my tooth looked at. I was welcomed well, and my dentist himself was a friendly guy who gave time to make sure I was OK throughout the appointment. He took time to consider that I was a human and not just another number to check off. It was good to feel relaxed and that the dentist actually took time and not rush the procedure. So far, I feel that the Dental procedure went well, and that my filling was filed down properly allowing me to actually close my mouth properly. Overall the staff at reception are friendly and welcoming, and I personally couldnt fault them. I am glad I made the move over to the Cirencester Dental Practice.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a root canal at the practice with Dr Robert Kelly. I was so nervous about the pain and discomfort. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was so looked after and felt no pain whatsoever during the procedure or afterwards. Incredible care!

Fantastic experience: On meeting Dr Thomas I felt completely at ease and able to explain all my concerns without any hesitation. He was particularly thorough in documenting dental problems and used a camera pen to help explain issues. I am grateful to have been recommended this dental practice.

Negative experience: Appointment was cancelled twice by the practice at short notice. Customer Care follow up was more focussed on communicating their problems than empathising with mine.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have just joined this practice and I needed an emergency appointment before our first check up appointment in September. So far, we have found everyone really friendly and welcoming, from reception staff, to the dentist himself. We are registered to Gareth Thomas at the practice and today I found him to be completely wonderful! He explained all of my treatment, explained the costs and was so calming and reassuring throughout. Couldn’t be happier with our choice of dentist and can’t recommend the practice highly enough. I rarely write reviews, but this definitely deserved my 5* feed back.

Fantastic experience: Had root canal done, really please with the work Dr Robert Kelly did today, for someone who doesn't like visiting the dentist this was a surprising relaxing and with the exception of the needles, a pain free experience.

Fantastic experience: Just had an appointment with Dr Adam and cannot be more thankful for his expertise and empathy after a bad experience at a local practice. Adam examined my offending tooth, told me in detail what was going on and what he could do if I wanted treatment before my holiday in 2 weeks. We discussed a couple of plans and I have opted for root canal at a later date but in the meantime I have been given antibiotics. Thank you Adam for your advice and kindness. I have been to this dental practice before to have an implant fitted by Dr Ross, (which was still one of the best decisions I ever made) and despite the fact that it is not local to me, I would prefer to drive the 18 odd miles for the professional and courteous manner in which I have been treated by ALL the staff. If I could give it more than 5 stars I certainly would! THANK YOU.

Fantastic experience: Always made to feel informed and relaxed. Gareth is great with guiding me through everything he is doing. I have quite a lot of treatments and I have always understood what’s coming and what to expect. The team on front desk are always really welcoming and visits are really pleasant! Fantastic experience: My experience of an emergency situation could not have been better. I was offered an appointment immediately and when I attended the dentist and the dental nurse did everything possible to ensure I was as comfortable as possible during the treatment. My situation was discussed in detail, options explored, and advice offered which I found very helpful. I would heartily recommend this practice to anyone who is seeking an excellent dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I lost a front tooth crown and immediately got an appointment to have it re-fixed. Very quick efficient process, experienced caring staff and I was very happy with my results experience.

Negative experience: Refused to give my mum her dental records unless she paid for a check up, essentially blackmailing her. She needed the records for medical reasons so her doctor would know if she could or couldn't have a particular medicine. To be honest an absolute disgrace.

Fantastic experience: Referred for investigating the possibility of dental implants, I found the service of both reception staff and clinicians courteous, informative, and well explained.

Fantastic experience: I went to Cirencester Dental Practice needing some cosmetic repair work. Joao was absolutely fantastic. He took loads of time to understand what I wanted, present me with different options and talk though all the pro and cons of each. Joao worked very closely with Magda in the lab to find the best option for me and I really felt it was a team effort. The final result is fabulous and the teeth have a really natural shape, colour and texture. I couldn’t be happier – thank you!

Fantastic experience: I'm absolutely delighted with the service provided at this Practice. All the staff is always very welcoming and helpful. I'd highly recommend Dr Mark for dental esthetics. If you are looking to improve your smile with a WOW factor, Mark is your miracle man! He's a true craftsman and always works to his client's satisfaction, up to the smallest detail. I also love Mark's assistant- Shumita (apologies if spelled incorrectly). She is ever so delicate and comforting. I admire the way Mark and Shumita work together. Always respectful and smooth in operation. I just love love this pair and will really miss our regular appointments, but equally so glad my braces are now off. Mark's beautiful work on my smile has boost my confidence 100% and I can't thank him and Shumita enough for all the time and attention they have given me over the year. Bravo!!!

Positive experience: Excellent treatment - 5 stars for that. Admin left something to be desired though - only 2 stars for that. If you don't know Cirencester, don't expect any help with directions or parking advice; look it up in advance and you'll be fine. If you arrive on time you'll probably have a 5 star experience overall.

Positive experience: Although this was my first visit to the practice they appeared to be very professional and the treatment plant offered was what I was looking for so, so far so good.

Negative experience: Very rude receptionist. The first thing she shouted at me as I walked in was ‘mask’ got very angry that I wasn’t wearing a mask when she wasn’t wearing one herself. She needs some customer service training.

My 90 year old mother attends at this practice and Alex her dentist is so kind. He explains clearly what procedures needed to be done and why. Positive experience: Difficult to book times even several months in advance. Mistake then made with the booking time which made things slightly inconvenient. Hygienist work good and very quick, done within 15 minutes which is twice as quick as previous visits.

Fantastic experience: This practice was recommended to me and I was not disappointed - first class hygienist Jo treated my teeth and gums to the service they deserve, from a full periodontal check, through descaling and to final polishing, even pictures to educate me on the awkward bits I have been missing in my routine. Thank you Jo. Emergency extraction during lockdown performed with great efficiency and I cannot fault the service.

Fantastic experience: I was at CDP yesterday for an operation to insert a 'rawl plug' ahead of fitting my implant. Dr Ross Cutts and his team (Emma & Hannah) were extremely professional and did a skillful and painless job. Emma explained there may well be some discomfort afterwards. 24 hours on and nothing to worry about at all. Very happy to recommend Ross to anyone needing an implant.

Positive experience: 3 month waiting list to see a first class private dentist is i suppose acceptable given the state of NHS dentists. However i would question the COVID policies in place, considering them perhaps out of date: - the A board outside and website request you to wear gloves- something that has never been proven to stop transmission. - I waited outside as requested, once I had rung the bell, and someone said they'll check me in-yet it seemed as a suprise to the receptionist, saying she had been looking for me upstairs, but it clearly states a closed door policy, "a receptionist will come and collect you" Further, I would say the price list, although stated as a guide line, and prices may change at any time, is inaccurate: I was quoted £350 for 2 white fillings, yet on price list it says 1 surface from £130, 2 from £150 , 3 from £175 and 4 from £200. So I'm not quite sure how they arrived there, unless they meant each? Badly worded in my view. I was interested in the Denplan which was shown on website and front door of practice, as a way of balancing the private treatment but when I was presented the quote, the dentist's assistant said that the £470 total could be payed 'later', and the receptionist said the dentist has to refer you first to qualify, and in fact she didn't know anything about it and handed me a leaflet- great. May sound like nitpicking but when private practices are booming, it saddens me that dentists are flocking to private practices for better pay and equipment, but the admin side of it all is still better at NHS practices. This was my first visit, I was impressed by the dentist and the equipment, less so by the assistant who struggled to keep pace with the dentists examination, and even less so by everything else, given no work as yet undertaken, I might shop around and see if the situation improves.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Covid precautions in place. This was my first appointment with Cirencester Dental Practice after referral from my normal dentist. Welcoming and professional staff immaculate surgery. Ross gave me a thorough assessment and clear explanation of the options available . This was followed up by a really detailed written report on the consultation, good to have a hard copy to read as quite a lot of information to take in on the visit. I am able to understand what is involved the whole procedure of having an implant. Feel confident I will be in good hands. Thank you

Positive experience: When you get treatment the care is fantastic. Sadly however the service is not as good as it was.. When being treated the dentist may recommend you book a treatment only for you then to find you’re unable to book what the dentist recommends. Patients are left waiting at the door with door bells ignored, phones are unanswered and messages not responded to One poor guy was trying to get access to collect an item he’d been called to get and he’d phoned and comeback three times and had no success. Other patients were stood outside as he got more and more angry. Yes covid has impacted but now it seems the service is still declining even-though out of lockdown. Customer service needs addressing; However, If rating the dentist or hygienist alone it would be 5 stars!

He safely delivered me aligners during lockdown 1.0 to ensure I would be on track for our then intended wedding . Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with Cirencester Dental Practice yesterday (the first time I've ever gone private - after not being able to register for an NHS dentist) and honestly can't recommend them highly enough! Every single person I met was warm, friendly and kind, and I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I didn't feel rushed at any point, my appointment was thorough and professional, and my dentist (Dr Mark Burton) patiently talked me through/showed me his findings afterwards. He recommended treatment without being pushy at all, and I felt confident in his expertise. Based on this first appointment I am confident I will be sticking with them for years to come! Fantastic experience: What can I say, Cirencester Dental Practice have been amazing!!! Highly recommend. Everyone there is so lovely and helpful and the dentists always ensure you are comfortable and take you through the treatment step by step. I saw Dr Cutts initially who was brilliant and gave me options for the treatment required - I felt so relieved as had previously been told by another practice that I would have to have teeth taken out. No teeth have been removed and Im now sporting braces - professionally and gently fitted by Mark! Thank you ALL.

Fantastic experience: Some of the Best dental staff I have run across in my 57 years! Everything is immaculately clean and well maintained. Everyone is polite and always happy to see you. Ever have the misfortune of needing a root canal? In the past they took up to 2 hours then a follow up in 2 weeks for the final filling. I had the procedure here that took 1 hour start to finish. 1 HOUR! I would recommend these people any day of the week.

Fantastic experience: I’ve only ever received the most incredible care at Cirencester Dental Practice. Jaoa fully restored my faith in dentists and has calmed my anxiety enough to actually get my teeth sorted. Unfortunately one tooth caused a bit more of a problem than I hoped and it meant I had to see Rob who specialises in root canals, and saw me on his lunch break, because I was in a horrendous amount of pain. He was absolutely amazing. He listened to me, didn’t rush me, and talked me through what he was doing so I wouldn’t feel as scared. Everyone at the practice is always very kind, compassionate and friendly and I simply wouldn’t ever go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ross Cutts and his team have made going to the dentist so much easier - like many people I am a nervous wreck and this practice is genuinely kind and professional. Such a happy team too. I feel an individual not just a number -unlike other surgeries. During my treatment, I have found that Dr Ross Cutts, including the Dental Technician, Dental Nurses and Reception staff have really gone above and beyond to provide the best plan for me, and they all work together to make it happen. Adding to the above review, I wanted to say that yet again, after having had two teeth root filled my experience has been pain free yet again. Dr Ross Cutts and his team are so kind too. Saving my teeth has been the aim, and I feel confident that that has happened already. I wouldn’t hesitate to book an appointment with this surgery should you be considering a change.
