Fantastic experience: First of all, I am what is known as a nervous patient.... BUT, and it's a very important BUT, I have just completed an implant procedure and I have to give top marks/full props to Dr Alex who saw it through from extraction to today's shiny new tooth. Every part was explained and PAINLESS and he and his team are so friendly and kind and understanding. Classic FM in the background (my request) and excellent after care. Have a chat at least and find out about it.... honest, it's worth it.

Fantastic experience: January 2025. 3 fillings. The same excellence as on previous visits. The premises are immaculate , bright and pleasant to wait in. Reception Staff are super polite and helpful. I am very nervous at having dental work done but the Dentists and Assistants are efficient, reassuring and caring so i know I'm in good hands. Highest standards always maintained. 16th Aug 2024 - still excellent . Emergency filling carried out , within a few hours of my email. Super polite & efficient team. Excellent ( Again ) . I cannot rate Allesley Park Dental Practise highly enough : Pre appointment communication is excellent . Reception Staff polite & efficient on phone & in person . Their covid precautions & system work really well & I always feel safe & protected whilst on the premises. Jassan is the Dentist I normally see - she is a wonderful Dentist , always polite , cheerful , efficient & welcoming , remembering to ask about things in my life that I have mentioned to her in polite chat before previous surgery. My teeth are extremely sensitive & Jassan is very sympathetic to this whilst working , which is so reassuring. My last appointment left me even more impressed with APDP as Jassan & her Assistant had to wear respirators , visors & hair coverings to perform dental work . This must have been very uncomfortable but they both just took it in their stride . It was impressive how Jassan performed such intricate work so skillfully whilst having to wear all that PPE . Whilst on holiday recently , APDP Staff arranged for an antibiotic prescription for an infected wisdom tooth , to be promptly sent to the town I was staying in. The subsequent extraction of this awkward tooth was arranged by APDP at another Dental Surgery near my home & it all went well. Thank you again all at APDP , we are lucky to have such a good Dental Practise . The covid crisis illustrated how vital our Dental services are to us. Addition to my previous review : I recently broke an old filling during the evening . I emailed APDP & at 08.30 the next morning a member of Admin Staff phoned me up & arranged an emergency appointment within 36 hours , which was really impressive . On arrival , the covid precautions were extremely thorough again . Jassan checked my tooth & put a temporary filling in swiftly & efficiently . On paying for my treatment I was pleased to be told I could have a cancellation slot for the permanent filling within 72 hours . Again , on both treatment visits , I was so impressed by Jassan`s Dentistry & Customer service skills & with the efficiency , politeness & safe practices of all at APDP. Thank you all again , having a superb Dental Practice is a real blessing , especially in these troubled times. Additional review to above for 06/03/23. After emailing APDP about a large , old filling that had fallen out , I was rapidly allocated an emergency appointment with Jassan. Again, I was delighted by my experience at APDP : Everyone is polite and efficient & Jassan's exemplary , friendly , patient focused manner put me at ease , as dental appointments are very nerve wracking for me. My treatment schedule was sorted out extremely quickly . Again, full marks for all at APDP for every aspect of premises and dental treatment. Adding to previous reviews for February 2024. A very old filling had broken. I emailed APDP I had an email reply almost immediately offering me an appointment within 2 working days .... outstanding! I was in no pain and was thrilled to get such a rapid appointment. A cheery, polite receptionist greeted me and I was being treated by the brilliant Jassan within minutes. I was extremely comfortable during my treatment ( a new filling). Jassan and her assistant were friendly, polite and efficient as ever and I was in my way back to work in no time at all. Thank you all at APDP once again. The best dental service I have ever received.

Fantastic experience: For longer than I can remember, I have always received great treatment here (thanks Tina). All of the staff are very pleasant and accommodating and clearly enjoy working there. I would recommend looking into Invisilign (with Jassan). The procedure is painless and a nice confidence boost, even, or perhaps, because of my advancing age. I should have done it years ago! Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I have used Allesley Park dental practice for a few years now and have generally been happy with their service up until my last visit. I had a hygienist appointment booked that I had to cancel at short notice due to unforseen circumstances. My next appointment was for a checkup a couple of weeks later, which went fine with the new dentist (Paddy) who I would give 5 stars to. But when checking out, the receptionist told me that I had an 'outstanding balance' of £30 for cancelling the previous appointment at short notice. As I was not informed of this policy when making the appointment over the phone, I felt it was unfair & refused to pay. She then said that she wanted to speak to the practice manager before booking me any more appointments and that someone would call me. A few days later, I received a call from whom I assume is the general manager. I believe she said her name was Donna. Within 5 seconds of listening to this woman talk it was clear by her tone that she hadn't called to discuss the problem & find a sensible solution but only to reiterate their company policy & insist that they were in the right and I was in the wrong, a very arrogant & unprofessional approach to say the least. Her argument was that it states on the confirmation email that a £30 cancellation fee would apply if you cancel in less than 24 hours. If they had said this to me on the phone when I made the booking, then I would have been more than happy to pay, but they didn't. Realistically, most people don't check their emails regularly, let alone reading them in that much detail. The situation I'm now left with is that they are refusing to book me any more hygienist appointments until I pay the £30 (which i am not going to) so I'm going to have to find a different dentist to do this which is a big inconvenience for me. I will also be changing to a different dentist for my NHS appointments when I can find one that is taking on new patients. (Which is proving to be difficult) All in all, I'm very disappointed to be writing this negative review after using the surgery for many years, but they really need to learn how to treat their customers better. PS. If you are the owner reading this, I suggest you have a word with your manager. Talking down to patients on the phone is extremely unacceptable & not a good image for your business.

Negative experience: I work full time, tried to get as fast as I could from work, I arrived 10 min late due to trying to find where to park my car since you only provide 2 places and I was told that I couldn't be seen, Appointment was for 45 min, I asked can I at least have the 30 min option and I was told no. Next appointment is 3 months from now, terrible service, I found a different practice that opens much later hours.

Fantastic experience: Not had a Filling in a few years, the drill is still there of course but what a change. I was not looking forward to having the treatment but what a change, the whole experience so much kinder and sympathetic. If you like me dread the dentist then re think and see how the treatment has changed for the better. Thank you to Dr Shalini and all the team at Allesley Park.

Negative experience: It says they accept NHS in their website but if you call them to get inquiries they say right now we are not accepting NHS patients. Confused?

TINA, ALONG WITH ALL THE STAFF AT THE PRACTICE ARE FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL. I AM ABLE TO SEE TINA IN A CONSULTING ROOM DOWNSTAIRS AS I AM CRUTCHES SO THIS MAKES MY VISITS EASIER.

Appointment was made at short notice (with an apology that it could not be sooner.) Alex was his usual polite, understanding and patient self and soon got the bottom of the problem and sorted it out in short order. Checking out my future options were explained to me by a very helpful receptionist. I really can't recommend this practice highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this practice for over 25 years now. They are caring, sensitive to people’s fears and I am able to get appointments without too much difficulty. The reception staff are all lovely too.

Fantastic experience: This was our first visit, Alex and the rest of the team were fantastic, they put my daughter at ease from the start and explained everything clearly. Everyone at every stage has been kind, friendly and efficient. A great experience and lovely team.

Fantastic experience: Very good dental practice. I had lots of teeth pulled out by them as a child because my jaw was too narrow so my mouth looked like something out of an Alien movie. But now, thanks to them I have a normal, human mouth. They are also very good at spotting gum disease. P.S. get a water-flosser if you don't already have one, they really help with proper flossing if you have a narrow jaw/crowded teeth.

Positive experience: I called into AP Dental with chronic tooth ache I had suffered all over the bank holiday and being registered with them I was hoping I would get the tooth removed within a decent time frame, but I was just given a prescription for antibiotics which did nothing so I went back and I was given more antibiotics which also did nothing. The earliest appointment was in another 5 weeks which was not going to happen, the pain was increasing so I had to go to another dentist and have it removed what a shame my dentist couldn't have made more of an effort.

My appointment with Dr Devlukia and Dental nurse Holly was brilliant, they were incredibly informative and helpful regarding my dental needs and setting me up on their dental plan. I also ended up having a scale and polish too which was superb (and painless!).

Negative experience: When I started my dental routine with this clinic I gave them 5 stars. However, along the months, lots of appointments cancelled in the last minutes for hygienist after long weeks/months queue waiting. Just be aware! This clinic behave in a way they have the right to let people down very often in appointments but you as a patient if you let them down, they will want to charge you a penalty fee for it. If you are a patient with lots of commitments at work and a full time job, a last time cancelling appointment from a dentist is a nightmare even more when a new date is not given to rebook it. Just be aware that patients don’t have rights in this place.

Fantastic experience: Dec23 update: So my family and I now all see Alex Price. The good news continues, I am also very impressed by Alex, one of my big old fillings broke last week and I was able to see him on an emergency basis 2 days later and he repaired my tooth there and then. I also went for my check up yesterday and he spotted one of my crowns had deteriorated, I liked that he proposed the likely simplest and cheapest course of treatment. The staff all seem friendly and remember my name which is nice. I would thoroughly recommend this dentist. Mar21 update: I went for my 6 monthly checkup. We are now in lockdown and it was good to see Covid procedures in use, questions before you can get in the surgery, temperature check on the way in and hand gel.I saw Douglas Price and as always had complete confidence in him, I am getting older and have a few issues with my teeth and he was very thorough checking them, took x-rays and carefully checked the images. He did a scale and polish there and then rather than drag me back, I asked a few questions which he was very happy to answer. I noted that staff were cheerful which makes a difference. I would continue to recommend the practice as highly as possible-fantastic service ! I have been coming to the practice for 30+ years and now so do my wife, children and mum. We see Douglas (father) or Alex (son) and they are both outstanding dentists, I have absolute confidence in their work and they are patient with me as I have a dread of dentists ! I like that they will explain what I they are doing and let me know my options. I also like that they just do what’s needed. All the dental nurses are also lovely, it’s nice many know me by name. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: After my first appointment with Allesley park Dental, i knew instantly how professional they all were. The place is incredibly clean and welcoming. The dentist and desk staff really help me throughout which made me feel relaxed. So all in all.. What can i say. If for whatever you need or want for your teeth, simply google dentist in Allesley coventry and go to AP dentist in winsford Avenue for a trouble free appointment. I did... And im happy now.

Positive experience: Rude receptionist! I took my daughter to see the dentist and had an appointment the following day for myself. It had slipped me as I hadn't received reminders as all my daughters reminders had overrun their system due to both appointments coming into the same email and mobile number as hers. Receptionist phoned on the day of my appointment very argumentative and extremely rude that their system had faulted and not sent me the reminders she was animated in her claiming it to have done. It was an honest mistake on my part that was handled extremely poorly by their admin team. Hopefully future appointments will improve as their dentists are good.

Fantastic experience: I have been terrified of the dentist since I was a child. I’ve avoided going for the last 12 years. I broke a tooth and was in so much pain I had to bite the bullet and return. Dr Alexander Chan and his dental nurse (with the red hair) have been incredible. I had the tooth extracted, returned for a filling and even booked a 6 month check up! The care they gave has been outstanding, from the second I walked in the door the reception team helped my anxiety. The kindest dental practice I have ever visited and Dr Chan is definitely on his way to curing my fears. Thank you so very much
