Fantastic experience: This was my first time at the clinic on 08/08/2025, and I was honestly feeling quite overwhelmed and anxious. But from the moment I walked in, Faheema made such a difference. She was incredibly kind and calm. As a dental nurse, she was not only professional and efficient but also genuinely compassionate – something that really helped settle my nerves. Faheema greeted me with a big smile as soon as I arrived. Her warm and friendly approach made what could have been a very stressful experience feel surprisingly manageable. Dr. Nosheen was equally amazing – thorough, gentle, and patient. Together, she and Faheema worked so smoothly as a team. I felt completely taken care of and respected, which meant a lot to me. Fantastic experience: A wonderful dentist. Sure I had to wait for a bit but despite the staff clearly being very busy they were all very polite, helpful and friendly. Besides which the dentist seemed very knowledgeable and I felt like I was in good hands. I shall certainly be going back there for another appointment.

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit as a new patient at Family Dental Care clinic yesterday and I cannot recommend them enough! I had not been to the dentist for years, so I was slightly nervous, but Dr Nosheen and nurse Alishaah took care of me and made me feel extremely comfortable. They are not only great professionals, but also very friendly, gentle, and kind. Front desk staff were very welcoming and also contributed to the positive experience. Fantastic experience: Got some fillings done a couple months ago and was Extremley happy with the result, went back for a checkup yesterday and the two Dental assistants, (Dr Nosheen and Sadiya) was more than helpful and i can't stress enough how much of a good dental practice this is, because of these two Dr's I can now smile for the first time in years without anxiety, if I could give six starts I would thank you so much.

Negative experience: Misleading and unprofessional! When I booked my appointment, the receptionist assured me that they had space for new NHS patients and that the doctor would decide whether I could be accepted. However, when I arrived, the doctor immediately told me she wasn’t taking new NHS patients and instead tried to push expensive private treatments. This feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch tactic. Very disappointing experience—be cautious if you’re looking for care!

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with service provided by Dr. Pathak. She has really been a saviour for my tooth. My local(registered) dentist said my tooth could not be restored and would need an implant. I was really concerned. My experience at Family dental was lovely. Treatment was explained very clearly and done in a very professional manner with first class service. Treatment was smooth and painfree. I cannot thank Dr.Pathak enough. I can now chew with my tooth without any pain or worries. I did have to travel miles to get to them but it was all worth. I'll highly recommend Dr.Pathak anytime. Thank you again.

Negative experience: Horrible and unprofessional service, went there with my kids after waiting for awhile which was not helpful as the so called waiting area is very small. The two asian ladies looked at my kids teeth and said everything is fine. I was fuming and i will not be going back there agakn and it's best to avoid. They're unprofessional rude and are not interested in what you have to say.

Today, I went back to see the hygienist for a teeth cleaning, and I have to say, I was incredibly impressed. Fantastic experience: This has been my go-to dentist for almost 20 years and I recently came in for a 6-month routine check-up and also booked in to see the hygienist the following week. Despite having to reschedule due to staff sickness, the receptionist staff were very persistent to alert me of the cancellation and adamant to get me booked in for the next available slot. I appreciated this a lot! The Dentist (Dr Karim Ali) was also very apologetic and considerate of my time when he returned to work. He and the hygienist i visit the following week (Dr Nosheen Baig) maintained friendliness were always checking in to see if I was okay throughout the procedures. My hygienist also took the time to walk me through the details of the treatment, plus how to maintain proper after-care. I always feel comfortable visiting the dentist and i would highly recommend for everyone to look into having this as your regular practice ⭐️

Fantastic experience: Hello review reader! I hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years due to anxiety and fear of both the usual teeth stuff and potential judgeyness as my teeth were kinda jacked. GO HERE! Laura the receptionist, amazing. Hasna the nurse, amazing. Dr Nosheen Baig, amazing. Had four fillings and one with a root canal and it all went great! Don't be scared of these guys, they're here to help and will do what they can without telling you the judgey things you've probably been telling yourself. Was anxious at the start and left my first appointment happy. Arrived at my appointment today confident as knew I was in good hands. Also saw Dr Nazmun Nahar for a hygiene appointment. Was also amazing and now have nicely polished clean teeth. Thank you guys!! Can smile with confidence now.

I’m extremely grateful to have come across this incredible practice and be treated by them. I’ve had my cleans and Smile3D treatment here. Negative experience: I was a patient here and I left because I found the service to be very unprofessional for a number of reasons: 1. Recommending unnecessary work (confirmed following a second opinion). 2. Giggling and flirting between the nurse and dentist. I have no problem with them being a couple but it seemed inappropriate to be doing in front of me when they are supposed to be looking at my teeth, and it made me feel uncomfortable. The space in the surgery and reception was also very cramped, seemed dirty and needed renovating. Edit 1: I see the owner is now accusing me of being a fraudster! Sorry you didn't like my review. Edit 2: My user name is now being criticised! To anyone reading this I would advise you to look at the number of contributions made by the majority of the 5 star reviews. Who is the real fraudster here?! Edit 3: I love how after 3 years he still responds to me. "Still I haven't revealed my identity which means 100% I am a fraudster" How ridiculous . Be really careful with dentists guys, your teeth are important.

Negative experience: I've been registered here for over 30 years. Had other Dental practice accepted new adult patient, I would have gone a long time ago. My last experience - replacing a filling and doing a new small filling. NHS Band 2 charge. Replaced the filling, now any and all food gets stuck between the teeth as the filling was on the side of the tooth next to another. Never had an issue before. New small filling in lower rear teeth next to wisdom tooth growing, still giving huge sensitivity issues. Along the way, possibly chipped another tooth on the upper canine tooth. Called immediately and was told to give it a week to settle as this is common. Called back a week later only to be told that 'due to NHS lack of funding, they cannot see me again until 3 months have passed since last appointment'. This was the main receptionist that told me this, certain I've been told this just so they can charge me again. Previously, waited 4 years, to get a referral from the hospital for ongoing wisdom teeth issues. Unsure how long I will need to get another referral from them. I've reported my experience to the CQC and reluctant to go back to them for treatment. If there are any dental practices taking on new adult patients, I am willing to move.

Shamira who is my dentist is outstanding. She's extremely paitent and so calming which has helped me so much. She really did cater for my particular needs. Fantastic experience: My second time here and it was brilliant .. the staff was so friendly at the help desk and talked you through prices etc so you won't get a shock !! I had a wonderful Dr called Shamira .. she was so friendly and her colleague who helped her was also so kind .. Dr Shamira explained everything that needed to be done and explained the x rays in detail .. (was so fascinating) I didn't even feel the needle go in for my filling and I'm petrified of needles but was absolutely fine .. after 20 years of not visiting a dentist, Dr Shamira made me feel at ease, thank you so much .. i thought i needed to remove a tooth but the Dr insisted to wait to see if pain i had was gum related and it was .. great service

Fantastic experience: I really really like my dentist Dr Ashu, she is professional yet very caring . I use to be a nervous patient but now I feel a lot less anxious. So far I have come away very pleased with every consultation and treatment, I am really pleased that she is our family dentist.. The dentist assistants are lovely too, always smiling which helps... Lastly Laura the head receptionist is great , very helpful, very friendly.. All in all i think this place is a little gem, we are really really happy here. The entire package is quite exceptional in my opinion and experience. :)

Fantastic experience: I normally hate attending dentists and find it very nervewracking due to anxiety. My dental nurse is Dr Ashu Pathak and she is one of the best people in this dentist. I have been experiencing pain for over a month and i find it very hard to explain the issue but she really understood me. I myself feel abit stupid as an adult i cannot really explain this feeling im feeling in my teeth but she never made me feel stupid or anything. She emphasized with me and really done her best to find the root of the issue. I had seen her many times and the advice and tips and the knowledge she shares and the way she shares it and breaks it down is amazing. I would hate flossing but the way Dr Ashu explained it, I really understood it. She really takes her time and does the best and i dont find it overwhelming when i normally would. Her kindness is something else too as during the process/treatment she really explains the steps that she's doing so I know I am in good hands and that really helps me knowing that she truley provides the best care for her patients. She truly is amazing. After one of my treatments, she said to call the dentist to keep her/them updated if my treatment worked or not which i truley thought was so kind of her because that goes to show how much she cares. If you're like me and suffer from anxiety when visiting the dentist, definitely ask to see her. She will do her best to put you at ease in the best way. Thank you Dr Ashu Pathak

Dr Ummu Shamira Marikkar is brilliant, and talks you through every step, with lots of after care advise. This really is a brilliant dentist (I have tried many others in the borough, and this is by far the best!) 06/08/24: Excellent service, very polite staff

Fantastic experience: I went to Family Dental Care for hygiene clean with Dr Nosheen Baig, before and after was brilliant I would definitely go back for another one in 6 months as recommended, I would totally recommend it to anyone who wants to see the difference in their teeth, thank you Dr Nosheen Baig.

Negative experience: Hi, I have been trying to reach the dentist for over a week now. There isn't a forwarding email address and the phone number is always engaged- it doesn't matter what time of day I call. Can you please take it off line busy as a default as how else is anyone supposed to make appointments unless they walk in personally. I am having to send my sister in law to come in when she has some time to ask you call me back for an appointment. I have a hospital appointment booked and need to see you before this which is now next week. I am writing on here in the hope that someone from your practice can see this and get in touch. Please may I suggest having an email if receptionists are too busy to answer. Thank you. I just tried to book a check up after some time since my last. I made an enquiry about the back log as the last time I had been in, there was quite a bit (during covid) and instead of being helpful I got an attitude on the other side of the phone with a receptionist called Sarah. She must be new as the previous receptionist was always very nice. Don't be a receptionist if you don't want a customer facing role! I politely declined the appointment that she suggested as I really didn't appreciate the condescending tone she had with me.

Negative experience: Very bed service. I am pregnant , On 10th july they suggested me Hygiene scaling, so today I did scaling but Dr. didn’t clean my teeth properly. Also,I have maternity certificate ,but they Charged £75 for scaling , They said scaling and policing is not under NSH service ,but today I called NSH Department and found out my all treatment is free during pregnancy. But still they charged me £75. It's not right.

Positive experience: Excellent service. Reception staff were professional and helpful. Dr Ashu and her team were very good and focused on my little daughter Occlusal splints issues and it’s treated well.

Negative experience: Please avoid this dentist the female dental never does treatment always uses Covid as an excuse our entire families joined there and we’ve been complaint of tooth pain she’s never done nothing always says to see their hygienist and when we request for hygienist they say it’s not available I haven’t been treated for so long and now my gum line as receded so much that my tooth is about to come out and this could have been avoided if they bothered to do my treatment they don’t care whether your young or old, paying or through benefits they refuse to give you good dental care. It’s so bad that they even say a 5 year old child is old enough to make their own decision on Whether they should do a treatment or not. So unprofessional and do not follow their work ethic at all and no matter how many times you complain they do nothing.

Fantastic experience: Extremely satisfied with the quality of service offered by Dr Ashu pathak and her team, They were very informative and make sure I was comfortable from start to finished. I would highly recommend their services.

Negative experience: If you are paying for the treatment please avoid this practice the dentist and hygienist are not good at all. Also the principle of the practice does not care about negligence and duty of care that the dentist and hygienists failed at. They do quick and great jobs for people who are in benefits. Please avoid and find better practice even it cost you little extra, it will be better in the long run. Kept receipts and report them if they have neglected you

Fantastic experience: I've had as close to great a dentist's visit can get here. Reception staff are lovely and helpful, on the phone and in person. Dr Pathak and Dr Baig were professional and efficient, and put in the effort to walk me through things and answer my questions. Dr Baig's parting comment when I apologized for taking some extra time to ask questions at the end of my deep clean, saying she is critical of her own work and values patients asking questions and giving feedback, is the mark of a good medic. Will be making this my regular dentist's office. Thank you to all the staff there!

Fantastic experience: Such a warm and friendly dentist to go to. I am really nervous about seeing the dentist, but when I am there they are all so kind and make you feel so at ease. I would 100% recommend visit this dentist to anybody. I am so glad I found them.
