Fantastic experience: Have had 'catch-up' treatment here over the past month or so - difficult extraction + 4 fillings after below-par treatment for years as an NHS patient at another practice. Like: Courteous, helpful reception Full explanation of what was being done - X-rays/photos put on overhead screen to show the problems and what was needed. Decent, proficient dental treatment. Dislike: Nothing dispels dental chair phobia!

Fantastic experience: As someone who has struggled with anxiety regarding dental surgery since my youth, I have to say that this practice has worked hard to alleviate my fear through patience, care and excellence in treatment. Though not fully over my anxiety, I can honestly say that once in through the door of the practice I know I will receive the best care possible. From the receptionists through to the dentists, dental assistants and hygienists, Affinity have assembled a first rate team that I can thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Having lost my NHS dental place I came to this practice. My experience has been very positive right from front of house who show a caring approach to facilitating your visit. The dental practitioners carried out procedures with care and efficiency. The only pain I felt was in my wallet lol. But the service was well worth it

Fantastic experience: After a weekend of agony, the team at Affinty where able to make space for me quickly on monday morning between already alloated clients and from assessment, prep work and main issue being resolved I left later in the morning with relief and the ability to go on my family break. The flexibility and professionalism was outstanding from such a happy and motiavted team.

Fantastic experience: Having just moved to the area, I wanted a local convenient practice to me. Affinity has been wonderful! A beautiful, bright, modern reception area and facilities throughout. Every single member of staff are all friendly and welcoming which is a massive bonus. Rachel has been my main provider and from my first appointment, everything has been laid out in plain English from pricing and procedures to taking the time to discuss potential issues and showing it to you on the screen there and then. I had to have an extraction on a lower back tooth initially which is why I went. The whole thing was over and done with soo quickly and easily, on what could have potentially been a troublesome extraction. Rachel is top notch and a dentist that I have felt extremely comfortable with, when compared with other practices I have been to. As someone who has had issues over the years, I've struggled to find somewhere like Affinity. I look forward to continuing to be a part of the practice! 5*

Fantastic experience: I went to Affinity Dental about 3 years ago in pain and was seen quickly , a short visit and all good . My teeth had got into a bad way and over the last 18 months I’ve had dental implants and my teeth are fantastic again ! I don’t have to to wait long when I make an appointment, only a few days , the staff are all really friendly and all work is done quickly I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

Negative experience: Awful experience. I booked a regular examination priced at £38 on their website. I was taken for my appointment 20 mins late, it was a very quick check up, then the dentist said she was going to do a scale and polish. She did not ask if I wanted this and did not say it would cost anything. I then went to pay and was charged £97 for an appointment that was supposed to cost £38. When I explained I was not asked if I wanted the scale and polish or told it would cost extra, I was told 'people usually get this done'. This is not a reason to assume everyone wants to pay extra for this. I was also charged £45 for the regular examination when it was priced on the website at £38. The actual scale and polish took around 2 mins and to be charged £52 for this without my permission is unacceptable. After going through the complaints process, I was eventually offered a refund of £52 for the scale and polish but not for the difference in appointment cost, I will not be back here.

Fantastic experience: Rachel and the Affinity team have always provided a first class service for our family and continue to provide the highest standard of dental care in these difficult times. It's reassuring to know that we can rely on the professional team at Affinity Dental Care. Fantastic experience: I *very* strongly recommend this practice. I had quite a bit of work done as a private patient after a few years of neglect following Covid. The work I had done was reasonably priced, and I've had no problems since. Rachel was very professional and communicated her advice about my options in a way that was clear and easy to understand. All staff were pleasant and professional.

Negative experience: Had some minor tooth pain and decided to register at this dentist for some treatment payed over 230 pound for work only to make things far worse rang back explaining I was in pain to be told just to wait and it should settle rang back again a few weeks later to be told they won't see me unless I pay a fee for an appointment which they advised I canceled to allow the nerve to "settle down" strongly advise you avoid this dentist and go to someone who treats there paying customers a bit better reception staff was nothing but rude when I voiced my concerns and said I would be leaving a negative review. thanks afinity dental over 200 pound down and dealing with pain I didn't have until i let use at my teeth. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Fantastic experience: Went along for a check-up, early doors on Thursday. Usual warm welcome from Rachel and Elaine, the humming duo. Settled down to then be told I needed two rather large fillings!! half an hour later I emerged. I hadn't felt a thing. What a super, expert job. Couldn't thank them enough. Fantastic experience: I have only been with Affinity for about a year now as my usual dentist no longer provided IV sedation and I had to find a new dentist that provided this due to my phobia. It ended up being very handy as I live nearby. Rachel and her team are lovely and friendly and calm my nerves,i’m glad I found this dentist and so close to home too,would recommend,in particular if you have a phobia like myself and need the sedation

Fantastic experience: I am glad I went by these reviews and booked myself in. I needed a new dentist and so glad I chose Affinity Dental. I have now been with Affinity for over an year and I am very much pleased with my dental care. I have had no issues whatsoever and recently had wisdom tooth taken out too. I was worried but I was out in 10 min and it has healed with no issues. Dentists,hygienists and even reception ladies are all great.

With a plan of treatment I needed teeth extracted, and I felt sedation was best plan for me. Affinity had me in the following day and teeth removed under sedation, and I never felt a thing. I most highly recommend Affinity Dental Care. They have been so understanding and very reassuring, and the care I received was fantastic, and really can't thank them enough for the treatment I have received.
