Fantastic experience: I was finding it difficult to find an accessable dentist for my elderly grandparents. My grandads dentures fell out and broke so when I phoned the dentist the service has been exceptional from start to finish. Sue was the 1st one I spoke to and was understanding and got us in really quick. Stephanie was our dentist and has been fabulous. I even doubled up and got my nan booked in to(she's in a wheelchair )to have her dentures done. I explained my granddad's 90th birthday was coming up and if it was possible to have them by this time. She delivered. All the staff we've come into contact with have been brilliant. Friendly, understanding, patient, empathetic and helpful. The practice is clean and doesn't actually have a dentist smell. I wish I brought them sooner. So thank you

Positive experience: Recently changed to this practice. Appointment availability is good. Receptionist very helpful with booking appointments for the first time though you can also book online. Arjun the dentist was informative and picked up on some potential issues and I need to return for a follow up. However, I do not feel comfortable returning to the hygienist. It was 6 months since my last clean. The new hygienist did scale all around the base of the teeth but only polished the top front and bottom front of my teeth while my previous hygienist polished all-around my mouth and also went through each tooth gap with floss or inter Dental pick. I did not get this and can see some calcification in my front tooth gap. I also pointed out I had some berry skins stuck on the top surface of my molars but she said they could not be removed and were enamel damage. I have just removed some debris using a wooden toothpick! I would have also appreciated being allowed to rinse out my mouth at least once during the appointment. Disappointed as quite a pricey private charge and was expecting a more through service.

Negative experience: Visited this dentist for an emergency appointment and the doctor said they couldn't do anything about it as I required an implant. I called a few weeks later to get a referral for a CBCT scan, and they refused, saying they only refer for services they provide, and they did not provide this service. Absolute rubbish, just an excuse to get the customers to use only their clinic, which is not even properly equipped. Terribly unhelpful and unprofessional. Do not waste your time here.

Fantastic experience: Great dentists at this practice, always feel confident to go back, I’m almost 60 so I remember the times dentist would kneel on your chest with Pilar’s to extract a tooth, this place thank God is nothing like that, every time.

Unfortunately, the new dentist at my regular clinic seemed uninterested in helping – I was sent home without even a temporary solution and told to return in 10 days. Feeling frustrated and desperate, I called Docklands Dental House, and I’m so glad I did. From the first call, the experience was night and day. Sue at reception was incredibly helpful and kind – within an hour, she had arranged an appointment for me. When I arrived, she checked me in efficiently and made me feel welcome, even though I had to wait a short while (which I didn’t mind at all given how quickly I was seen on such short notice). I was then treated by Dr. Anusha, who was not only professional but also warm and reassuring. She clearly explained my options and took the time to answer my questions, which immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. Once I made my decision, she and her assistant Jazz worked together like a well-oiled machine – calm, confident, and completely in sync. Their teamwork and skill were impressive and comforting. Honestly, I left wishing they were my regular dental team. I can’t thank the staff at Docklands Dental House enough for turning what started as a stressful experience into one of care and support. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dental clinic that genuinely puts patients first.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience recently at Docklands Dental House. Reception staff are calm and friendly. I saw the hygienist who was the gentlest ever but did a very thorough clean and polish. My dentist Stephanie was wonderful. She did a deep filling quickly and painlessly, explaining everything she was doing. I will definitely be returning in future and have recommended to 2 other people who have been equally impressed.

Negative experience: Worse dentist ever! My 6year old daughter had to have 2 teeth removed due to the neglect on this dentist. My daughter has suffered with an abscess for over a year due to this dentist and it was that bad 2 of her teeth had to be taken out. This dentist is not for NHS patients. Only private people! Avoid at all costs

Negative experience: In my experience, This clinic has the worst reception staff. Staff who are so bureaucratic and don’t follow up with repeated official email requests from me as a private patient. And no courtesy of providing at least an acknowledgement of request. I have already booked and paid for appointment. Anyway am never going back. Go ahead and Keep the booking fee please. Thankfully Lots of quality alternatives in the area

Fantastic experience: The dentist (and the whole team) were really kind. The dentist was friendly, made me feel comfortable and did a wonderful, fast and efficient job on my cleaning and filling. The dentist was as conservative with treatment as possible and every step and option was outlined for me from the beginning. I didn’t feel pressured into picking any particular treatment and I’d highly recommend. I’m not nervous about the dentist at all, but if you are, I’d recommend!

Negative experience: Absolutely unacceptable experience. I booked an appointment as a new NHS patient, which was scheduled for two weeks later. Then, less than 24 hours before the appointment, they cancelled it without warning—just a vague message, no explanation whatsoever. When I called, I was told they’re not accepting new NHS patients anymore, and the best they could offer was to put me on a waiting list with no idea how long that might take. So I wasted two weeks waiting, took time off work, and got nothing but a last-minute cancellation and a shrug. Completely unprofessional and shows zero respect for people’s time.

Fantastic experience: Was working in the area and contacted docklands dental to try and get a appointment. They got me in within 2hrs and refitted my crown that was fitted in Turkey. Thanks you so much to the team was in and out within 45 minutes and very fairly priced

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr Anusha Koobair who has been my dentist for a number of years. Extremely professional, gentle and caring. Have had checkups, root canal treatment, fillings and the most thorough hygiene cleans. She investigates thoroughly and explains the treatment recommended and why. She also takes great effort to educate patients to help them improve their dental health. The practice has helpful screens to show visuals to customers that aids explanations. Great location right by Canning Town station. Practice is always clean and tidy.

Negative experience: The receptionist was polite, but the person my son saw for his tooth to be taken out was rude. Male dentist guy who spoke so rude. My son has a decay tooth and infection to his gum and we were told by the emergency dentist we saw last week that my son local dentist 'Docklands Dental House' needs to take his tooth out. Made an appointment without any problem, but the dentist man who my son saw was rude while talking to me. He cut me off while talking and goes he was asking my son, BUT he ended up asking me after my son couldn't reply to him. He then spoke by saying 'inconvenient' many times in a sentence like he was mocking me when I said this tooth is causing an issue for my son. He has SATS and final year in primary, and I don't want him missing out on school due to his tooth problem. He said it like this, which I clearly remember and found so unprofessional. He said: inconvenient your son has an infection, inconvenient your son school has to give him antibiotics medication, inconvenient for my son and for me. My son 10years found it rude how he spoke to me and cut me off. If a child found him rude, then you can imagine how I must have felt as an adult. It was unprofessional and rude how he spoke. Eventually, he took the tooth out, and i kept calm as my concern was my son. very unprofessional how he spoke, and as a mother, I know what is best for my son.

Fantastic experience: I started going here because I lived very near by. But their services are so good that, even after I've moved away, I travel back here for my regular hygiene and other treatments.

Positive experience: My toddler was seen by Dr. Koobair. She was kind and patient, and didn’t rush us out. My toddler was initially nervous but she made him feel at ease and the appointment went smoothly. The 2 receptionists are incredibly rude, which is a shame, but other than that, I highly recommend the practice.

Negative experience: The reception staff/lady seemed a bit disorganised and were somewhat unfriendly. During my appointment, the dentist was unaware that the tooth being examined was a wisdom tooth, which I had to point out myself and had again an unfriendly reaction from her too. Overall, my experience was not pleasant, despite the practice appearing to be well-maintained and professional.

Fantastic experience: I spoke to Sue at reception while trying desperately to find a new dentist for my elderly grandmother who really need help. Sue was truly amazing, so helpful professional and courteous. The dental surgery is very lucky to have her.

Negative experience: absolutely terrible experience. Receptionist was very rude and not understanding to the situation of why we were late, constantly talking about her lunch break. We travelled a hour to get to the dentist, and we were turned back with no sympathy. The receptionist said if we were 15 minutes late we need to rebook however we were 10 minutes late and the remaining time she was on the phone talking. Sadly we had a very disappointing experience and will not be returning.

Negative experience: they are very racist you have to speak perfect english otherwise you won't even pay attention I went with my little child to see the problem and I die kicked out because I don't speak perfect english

Fantastic experience: Another visit with excellent treatment for my 95 year old mother at the dentist. All the staff were very helpful and accomodating of her needs as a wheelchair user. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: DDH seems to be under New Management - Hooray: I am a nervous disabled (wheelchair) patient who suddenly was in pain and needed to make an emergency appointment, which thankfully was granted quickly. Very impressed with Sue, Acting Receptionist. Good at her job, Docklands Dental House need to assure her of permanent employment!. Sue very naturally manages the patient's expectations and tries to put their mind at ease. She is polite, considerate, empathetic and is a good negotiator, with regard to talking vulnerable patients "off the ledge"!. On the day, the experience was good. Clinicians quickly diagnosed correctly and fully explained the reason for my pain and were extremely knowledgeable, polite and kind. However, patients need less detailed tutorial and more proactive dentistry. Would recommend and attend again if I could be placed as a disabled person on the NHS List.

Negative experience: Had bad experience with them, I had appointment when I seen the dentist, he checked my teeth then he told me to book another appointment which will cost me £70 per hour. The bad thing is since I seen the dentist I started to have more problem and now my teeth are paining me all the times. They are after money nothing else. I regret why I came to this dentist as I cannot sleep or do anything I have pain a day and night

Fantastic experience: Upon arrival the receptionist team greeted me and made feel settled. Very friendly and supportive. Amazing hygiene clean, started out very nervous. But I was soon reassured by the dentist team, they put me at ease and gave me clear instructions on what to do when they began. Afterwards I was so impressed with the results, my teeth felt like new with little to no sensitivity. I highly recommend and I will be booking again.

Positive experience: I like my dentist and reception team, they are knowledgeable and helpful. But I don’t like the fact that after having a surgery to remove 9 teeth I didn’t get an x ray to see if everything was okay. Just assuming. Even tho, I mentioned I have a new pain/sensitivity to 1 side and some symptoms of previous infection came back after finishing the antibiotics course. I feel ignored and not taken care of as I am just an nhs patient not private.

Negative experience: Dentists are friendly enough but the front of staff are awful. Especially the older woman. Very rude and doesn’t know how to speak with patients. Definitely needs retraining in customer Service.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Dr Brinder Bhogal who saw my daughter and myself. There was not much for me to be done today. However, despite running a busy clinic she took the time to treat, educate and teach my daughter. It was clear she was passionate about her job and actually took the time to explain in a simple term about the treatment needed.

Fantastic experience: Top dentist surgery. I’ve used them for the past 7 years. My dentist (Dr Bina) always gives me full information before any treatments and answers my questions in a simple way that I can understand. I would highly recommend coming here.

Negative experience: Substandard experience - visited to have my tooth extracted, was given very limited advice on the process & the aftercare despite asking numerous times. Lack of care & compassion is what I’d sum it up as. Provided feedback directly to the management and requested acknowledgment to ensure lands in the right place as approach to the patient is deeply concerning - no sign of acknowledgment 9 days later. Overall I’d say avoid if you can.

Negative experience: I came in for an emergency dental appointment as no other clinics had availability. I was reluctant to go here as my dental appointment here 2 years ago took 5 minutes, it felt rushed and incomplete. That first experience, coupled with the low reviews compared to others in the area, discouraged me but I was desperate and needed to see a dentist ASAP. From the moment walking in, the dentist never acknowledged me. The nurse was speaking to me and asking me questions instead. After the dentist examined my tooth for 2 seconds, he assumed my tooth was infected after a root canal, and needed an implant which costs £2k. Naturally due to the high cost of the procedure, I wanted to ask questions and take time to deliberate. I told him "I had a root canal 5 years ago, and went to a check up with him 2 years ago, and nothing was ever detected, so have I had an infection for 5 years? That doesn't make sense. Either this was missed 2 years ago, or I don't have an infection." His answer was "i don't know. I'll just give you some penicilin", with a very impatient tone, the exact same rushed one as the first appointment. I gave up, accepted the antibiotics, and thought I would just wait for an appointment with my actual dentist, as this convo was going nowhere. The appointment took a whole 10 minutes, and I left the clinic without any resolution. Avoid this clinic if you want a decent dentist, don't waste your money here, because they only care about the payment, and not the health of your teeth.
