Fantastic experience: Excellent practice, first time here after my previous dentist stopped with NHS work. Would recommend

Fantastic experience: I’ve seen some negative reviews about this practice, but I can only speak from my own experience as a patient here for over 15 years. I have always been seen by Dr. Hanna, who is absolutely fantastic. She is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to explain every detail of treatment and costs, and makes you feel completely at ease. The care and professionalism I’ve consistently received here have been excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice.

Negative experience: I was ther to my appointment on 29 august , i wait about 45 min and they reschedule on 3 september and i was send home ! i came on 3 september and surprise ! the Doctor Hana is not there ! i ask when she will come back to work and another surprise ! they don't know ! Solution !? they send me home and told me to call in few days maybe i will find out something ! Is outrageous how they treat people ! they thing my time is at theyr discretion ! very disappointed i will look for another clinic ! in this one i am treated like an animal ! With no respect ! humiliated !

Negative experience: I have always wanted my teeth straightened and I did it unfortunately at this dentist practice, I regret having my teeth done at this place the reasons why before any procedure we agreed on £1500 I have given them £500 cash and started to pay every month, they haven’t made me aware of coming every week for different numbers I simply wasn’t told, later on they asked for extra £200 I was ok however my teeth were still the same and I was accused of not wearing them correctly and asked for more money I was like you never mentioned that the price might get higher I refuse to pay more my teeth are the same I was accused and disappointed on top of that disrespect by miscommunication they clearly need to learn more English at least dentist to avoid situations like this horrible experience

Fantastic experience: Seen some bad reviews for this dental practice ,all I can say is it must not be this place because ive been twice and both times were brilliant ,the dentist Dr Hanna is absolutely fantastic ,had an appointment at 10 oclock for a broken wisdom tooth extraction and was out the door by 10.15 .The receptionist was very polite and friendly.brilliant service couldnt recommend more .

Fantastic experience: The very best service from Dr Hanna and her assistant, ive been coming here since I was a child. I'm 28 now and always loved the environment and how friendly and caring the team are. It is a bit rushed sometimes but can be expected with the circumstances that they are given. But couldn't thank hanna and the team for all their help over the past 2 decades ❤️

Negative experience: They said they did root canal but filled tooth with half filling, left treatment in the middle. Dr.Hana is not careful while doing treatment just chatting with her assistant. I don't recommend to anyone. She started treatment without even taking x-ray.

Negative experience: Don’t recommend Used to go there changed my dentist not long ago as of not professional dentist that argued with me . now I have to have 3 teeth removed as they messed up at manor park dentist and drilled out a lot of teeth for no reason and as they never treated my teeth and only kept on charging me I got a gum infection , they put me also a crown without cleaning out my tooth before and as my new dentist said the crown is too big and I did tried to tell them that never got listen too. don’t go there if you want a full set of teeth..

Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting experience at this dentist. Dr Hanna was horrendous. The moment I walked in and sat in the chair she acted like I was an inconvenience to her day. Dental assistant too busy on FaceTime and YouTube. Dentist talked to me like dirt and I left the appointment in tears. Never coming to this practice again.

Negative experience: Would not recommend to anyone. Left my tooth half filled leaving the gap in the middle by dentist Hanna.

Negative experience: absolutely disgusting service- took time out of work to attend appointment for a toothache, was told dentist is running behind and to be honest i don't mind the wait as the receptionist explained nicely, when it was my turn, i was called in by dentist name Hanna- firstly she doesn't speak English and her attitude is psychopathic. she just doesn't want to listen made me feel very uncomfortable so walked out mid appointment, was scared she might pull out a wrong a tooth. didn't have good experience at my last appointment either with another dentist from African background don't know her name, she kept telling me what she was incompetent in and what she couldn't do, in the end just had a clean. very disappointing clinic. the only sound people are the reception staff. will not recommend the clinic to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We've been here a few times, and the experience has been great for adults and young children each time. Dr. Hanna, in particular, is really good with our kids (4 and 1), gives excellent advice, and listens carefully. Overall, the whole practice is spotlessly clean, and everyone is helpful. Thank you.

Negative experience: Honestly so annoyed by this dentist im currently on my invislign journey here which is expensive and they rush through appointments like it’s jus another service ? I keep having to make emergency appointments becauze of something they have messed up with my teeth having to go back and fourth for them to fix a problem that did not need to be fixed if they were more serious about my journey do not recommend this dentist at all and none of the dentists can even speak english properly honestly save your money and time!!!!

Negative experience: The worse dentist I’ve ever been to the blonde lady that works there couldn’t even take my back tooth out and i had to walk out with half a broken tooth had to go to Charles Clifford for them to cut the tooth out off my gum I’ve been trumatized ever since

Fantastic experience: Really excellent dentist. I go and see Dr Hanna and, although going to the dentist isn't typically at the top of people's favourite things, she and her colleagues are so good at what they do I always feel relaxed. Hanna has a great, friendly personality. As soon as I walk in the room she welcomes me. I come away feeling happier than I went in!

Negative experience: 45 minutes waiting in the call queue just to get to number one, the call ring twice and disconnect

Fantastic experience: Attended through 111 with our daughter this afternoon after she partially knocked out her baby tooth. The dentist was fabulous, very reassuring with her, applied numbing gel and helped the tooth the rest of the way out.

Negative experience: Went yesterday and won't be going eva again !!! Never have I eva met such a rude set of people who don't care how much pain ur in they don't wanna know ripped my tooth out didn't want to know what was wrong had no time to listen so rude and arrogant never will I step foot in that place again !! Never would recommend this dentist to anyone !!

Negative experience: Went there through 111 for my aunty. Absolute shocking experience with the dental assistant on his phone for half the appointment texting and watching a football match. The dentist was clueless himself and didn’t make any sense in what he was saying. Don’t bother going get 111 to find a different practice!!!

Negative experience: Very questionable quality of care, though understandable NHS resources are being stretched to oblivion, this "dentist" is not trustworthy, I had visited a handful of times as it was the only dentist with space, however not a whole lot was actually being done, temporary fillings after temporary fillings rushed in between patients in a side clinic with no local anaesthetic or anything, that fell out after a day or two, her insisting that she will eventually do a permanent one, she seems quite difficult to speak to and sometimes actually quite rude. I'd insist that this place is looked into as I believe they may be doing more damage than anything else to people who are simply desperate, avoid like the plague

Negative experience: I don't recommend anyone 0 stars for place . The lady doctor need training. She just treating like animal Don't care about anything. My husband was there for treatment last night and extraction was done badly still bleeding. They ask to pay more for treatment . Very bad experience don't visit. Abbedale family dentist is best

Positive experience: I was referred to this surgery by NHS 111. The staff were generally lovely and the male dentist I had was patient (It isn't easy trying to hold the mirror for the X-Ray whilst trying not to gag). I was told it was an absess and was given a temporary filling and prescribed amoxicillin which will help; however, I would need to book a follow-up with my dentist shortly. I will say that part of the temporary filling came away the same day. The 111 service isn't a fix all service, they're the step between being seen by your dentist.

Negative experience: Honestly saw the reviews and was so scared to go and got proven RIGHT.the receptionist who claims she’s worked there for 9 years is SOOOO HORRIBLE!!!she’s very aggressive and unwelcoming and needs to really be trained on customer service.i was honestly so scared.really don’t recommend left in the same pain i came in only the dentist assistant was calm and the trainer at the reception.pls don’t waste your time and money!!!

Negative experience: STRONGLY DONT RECCOMEND THIS DENTIST. Was referred from 111 for an emergency appointment. Paid £27 to have him repetitively hit my tooth and asked if it still hurt after no pain relief or treatment. Told me I needed a root canal and that he could do it but he didn’t want to because it would hurt. I received no treatment and had to travel nearly an hour out of my way. Upon waking up today I can say that Dr Access has worsened my condition with his “treatment”. I’m in absolute agony. I’d like to add a couple more details into this complaint if possible. So I was made to essentially do my own X-ray I had to hold the stick and the machine and kept getting aggressive communication because it wasn’t in the right position for him even though I explained the plastic was cutting into my mouth he didn’t seem to care. Essentially the appointment consisted of him repeating the same 4 things the whole time and ignoring me and my responses. He kept saying it only hurts when I eat, I said no it hurts even when I don’t eat or drink. He then said take paracetamol and ibuprofen to which I replied with yes that’s what I’ve been doing all week. Then he asks if hot or cold hurt my tooth, I said both but especially cold. He then proceeds to put freezing Cotten wool to my tooth to which I winced in pain. He then does it again 3 more times. This with the 7 or 8 hits to my tooth with a metal pole has really intensified my root pain today. And then he told me that he could do a partial root canal but he didn’t want to and that I had to contact my own dentist and that it would hurt me. To which my answer was “is there anything you can do for me today then?” He said I’m not here to treat you I only help with pain management. And proceeded to give me no pain management. Everytime I would give my answer he would just throw one of these 4 back at me. And then I’m about to pay (for literally nothing. Rude service, useless practice, no help at all) he then pulls me back in to the room to say these same 4 things AGAIN. I was just thinking just let me leave this has been the worst appointment I’ve ever had.

Negative experience: Registered and attended here after a tooth cracked... I attended and asked the dentist to pull the tooth as it hurt... She seemed more interested in giving me a bridge in place of my denture and asked over and over to do the bridge... She eventually gave up and said I needed a crown on my tooth as she couldn't put a filling in it.... When I went to pay I was charged for a checkup but I explained that the charge for a checkup is included in with the price of the crown... The receptionist said it was a separate treatment... No it isn't.. She wouldn't listen even though it says it clearly on the NHS website... Avoid this place

Negative experience: Dentist not ready to listen to patient. She is ready with the treatment that's it. Did not made me understand the process, did not made me feel ready, I am in lot of pain but she is not at all empathetic. Did not said about after care.. just wrote antibiotics. So rude.

Negative experience: Never in my life have I experienced a dentist who has no clue!!! An emergency appointment through 111 driving from leeds to Sheffield. The receptionist was rude and neither the dentist or hygienist knew what they where doing. The tooth needed pulling out but now I'm glad he hasn't!! Completely incompetent and couldn't wait to throw a prescription of amoxicillin at me no abcess present. Avoid Dr Access at all costs. £27 for the pleasure and water to rinse with at the end instead of mouthwash.

Negative experience: I was reffered for an emergency tooth extraction via 111, yesterday to this particular dentist as they say there was nobody available in my area. I've been waiting to hear back for 22hrs in pain. We have 2hrs travel time and they offered an emergency appointment for 6.30pm. This is ridiculous. When I explained the circumstances over the phone the receptionist was rude and unsympathetic, take or leave attitude. Upon this happening I read the reviews and it's safe to say I'm going to keep taking my tramadol until I can find genuine help somewhere safe in the morning. I'd rather take my chances than have a tooth pulled here. Suffering with high end anxiety and being sent to a dreadful place like this is a disaster waiting to happen....

Negative experience: If I could do 0 stars I would. My boyfriend went for a tooth removal, they did the needles and never gave it chance to kick in, he felt everything. The woman doesn't give any chance to speak and just does everything she wants to do. NEVER GO HERE

Negative experience: Visited after a 111 call for very bad wisdom tooth pain - dentist poked around and asked why I was crying, made me feel bad about cavities and then sent me off still in agony with a recommendation to take ibuprofen. Another emergency appointment within 2 weeks at a different dentist, said last dentist 'took easy way out' and extracted problem tooth within 5 minutes.

Negative experience: This was my first visit & will be my last! I came into the practice and there was a lady in front of me, we had arrived at the same time. There was no one at reception and a treatment room was being used but the door was open & the dentist & patient were visible.I found this strange but continued to wait so I could register. The lady in front gave up & left and I stood waiting wondering if there was anyone usually on reception. I walk with a stick and struggle to stand for long periods. I was in pain but really wanted to register so I waited another 10 minutes. More people came in behind me and there was about 4 of us now in the queue. A lady in blue scrubs appeared from the stairs behind us & began talking to the person behind me about her treatment. The conversation continued right until she got to the seat behind the desk infront of me. I'm stood there in pain, looking at her & wondering if she will acknowledge me or apologise for keeping us waiting? No she stares at me & then motions to me. I ask if she has finished as she was still talking to the other person & she said quite aggressively "yes and then says come" I presume she meant for me to move forward. I looked at her and decided I did not want to be in a practice where the treatment is performed on show & the staff are rude. I politely declined and said it doesn't matter & I left. What a waste of my time, diesel & energy!!! First impressions matter and this was not a good one.

Fantastic experience: I booked an emergency appointment at Manor Park Dental Practice and was surprised when the dentist decided to extract my wisdom teeth for my long-term health. The dentist and nurse were incredibly kind and empathetic, making the unexpected procedure much easier. I am very pleased with their service and highly recommend this practice. 100% satisfied!

Negative experience: I attended this dentist for an emergency appointment arranged via 111. The appointment was 20 minutes late which didn't initially bother me, I was just greatful to get seen to. I walked in the room and the dentist had her back to me, after sitting down, she asked me what the problem was, she wasn't looking at me she was looking over me, I turned to see she was actually looking at the clock. During the appointment nothing was explained to me. She put the X-ray in my mouth and then started asking if I was pregnant. The dentist then just started drilling my tooth, again no explanation of what she was doing. Half way through this she says "you have had some pain killers haven't you". She placed something in my mouth which I have since googled because again there was no explanation and it was a temporary filling. I was given a prescription for antibiotics and told to take them if I need them and to come back in two weeks time. I went to reception and told her I was confused and didn't understand why I need to come back and she said just ring if you need us. I left and was crying with pain. The next day I rang the dentist to find out what I need to go back for and explained that I want to make a complaint. 6 days later I am still awaiting a call back. I have sent an email and had no reply. The pain never went away so I had another emergency appointment at a different practice. My tooth needed extracting not a filling, that's why the pain never subsided. I was told to not take them antibiotics which I had already started taking because I don't have an infection and I shouldn't have been given them. Terrible service, I feel like they just wanted me out of the door and I have head to now pay twice because this dentist simply did not have the time to treat me properly.

Negative experience: Sorry for long review but please read. Waited over 40 minutes just to bite a bit of plastic (get a gum guard sorted out). Told my dentist I grind my teeth in my sleep and asked to get a gum guard, she didn't care so months later I had to call and TELL them to get me a gum guard. Also saw someone else who's appointment was after mine but they got here 30 seconds before me. Their appointment was 20 minutes after mine yet they got served first. Now I have to walk home alone in the dark in a dodgy area because they are taking the p*ss to see me. The dentist there doesn't listen to anything I try to tell her and I always end up with more dental issues after an appointment then I originally had. 2 of my fillings have fallen out and she hasn't redone them. The other 2 fillings need to be taken out and done again as they are both extremely cold sensitive and even pressure sensitive. I have one on either side of my mouth so I can't even comfortably eat food and am in agony just from breathing in cold weather. The last time I went in I told her I needed another appointment soon for the fillings that have fallen out and was told to book it with reception. HOWEVER when I went to the reception it turned out that the dentist had already made my next appointment for 3 MONTHS LATER! Now I'm in absolute agony. Can't get with another dentist for at least a year due to wait lists and care even less about my dental hygiene than ever as no matter what I do I will be in pain. She also ignores when you're clearly hurting during your visit and simply says "it doesn't hurt" basically telling you to grow up. if you have any other options or your problem isn't urgent yet, please get with a different dentist. Most of the good reviews are fake as they lean over you're shoulder and or actually pressure you into giving a good review. Please, for you're own health, find a better dentist.

Negative experience: Bed side manner is disgusting.. doesn't help you relax when suffering high anxiety.. I would NOT recommend this dentist one bit.. doesn't try saving teeth, only ripping them out. If I could give ZERO stars I honestly would.

Negative experience: Shocking place, waited 1 hour 20 minutes over my appointment time someone came in who knew the receptionist and went straight in before anyone else, when I finally got in to see dentist all they were bothered about was me giving 5 stars on Google before I got seen awful service only one dentist on too I was so disappointed I will never ever go again, rather use pliers on my own teeth sorry but true.

Negative experience: I highly advise that people do not use this dentist it is disgusting how can you have your hands in someone's mouth and then with the same gloves on try to open my mouth hygiene is none existent No communication what's so ever I have 3 rotten teeth in my mouth that needs to be pulled out and the woman Hanna is rude she basically kicked me out of the dentist and told me that I am wasting her time she was trying to put a filling on top of a rotten tooth that makes no sense at all she did not tell me what was going to happen I had to ask and that woman Cynthia woman does not have a clue what she is on about at all tried to xray my gums and in the process she cut the gums I left the dentist with blood in mouth and I had nothing done at all very poor service and not one bit of professionalism

Negative experience: The worst experience ever!! There’s only one room and one dentist who is horrible, she doesn’t give you a chance to speak and just shushes you to sit down. The assistant Cynthia tried to help but even she was shushed by the woman. She does whatever she likes with your teeth, even if you don’t need it. Went there with pain and came back with nothing but pain she just put a small silver thing in my tooth which fell out?!! All 4 values P(patients first, R (respectful), O(ownership), U(unity) and D(deliver)- none of which she has shown. The NHS needs to review whether this woman is even allowed to work, she shouldn’t be a dentist.

Negative experience: It's like some sort of dental circus! So unprofessional. The dentist was doing 10 things at the same time and didn't pay any attention to issues I was trying to explain to her. The service was very rushed. CLOSE THE DOOR! They leave the door wide open so everyone in the waiting area can see you laid out on the dentist chair having work done. Very unprofessional. I have already managed to get into a new dentist thankfully I'll not be using these clowns again.

Fantastic experience: My 85yr old partner who is unfortunately wheelchair bound now felt his first visit was positive. He was seen by a friendly professional team in a very efficient way.

Negative experience: If I could I’d give no stars. Never usually leave reviews but this was just disgusting. My appointment was at 9:25am but I had to wait an hour to be seen. Once I got in the room and tried to explain what the issue was to the dentist (Hanna) kept on cutting me off and telling me to shush. She said I should never tell her what to do. I found this very rude. She made remarks to the other lady which showed she was offended that I had gone to a private ortho for treatment. It was none of her business if had chosen to get private treatment rather than aligners with herself. She kept on pushing my head back on the chair when I tried to get up to explain to her. Thats when I decided I wasn’t having any of it and got out. The receptionist was very nice and apologetic. She gave me the head office number to contact. Never going back there and definitely do not recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I've been attending the practice for a number of years, and Hannah and Cynthia have gone above and beyond for my dental health. They are genuinely fantastic, delightful people. My dental health has improved significantly since attending this practice. I have recently partaken in their teeth whitening services which have made a tremendous aesthetic difference. The service simply requires sitting comfortably and has resulted in an incredible improvement in my teeth; from tea-stained yellow to a healthy white. I cannot recommend the service enough. Please do ask them about it if you attend the practice.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing and friendly staff Dr Hannah and Cynthia are lovely. We take our two year old daughter to have her teeth checked too and they are so lovely and comforting with her. I’ve had my teeth whitened with them and my wife has had clear braces and whitening, we are both over the moon with the results! Highly recommend.

The experience here was a terrible one

Fantastic experience: Very kind staff, I went in and asked for a specific fix that previous dentists have failed to do (chipped one corner of my tooth). Normally the filling would fall out after a couple months, but these dentists connected the filling to my tooth incredibly well. I highly recommend this service.

Positive experience: Came for my partner's appointment. The dentist came over to me and wanted me to scan the review card and made me put a 5 star review and stood over my shoulder until I had posted the review. I thought it was quite rude and made me uncomfortable. Other than that they are usually quite polite and wait times are short
