Negative experience: Im sure they’re capable of completing dentistry, but I got quoted 4.8k and bullied about my teeth, while at a dentist up the road, they quoted me £600 for the same teeth and solution

Negative experience: Had a really bad experience with FIGGS Marsh Dental. The dentist I had looking after me, left me in a critical condition. Then was handled quite badly with my next appointments.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Varan and his team. The whitening treatment was quick, comfortable, and delivered amazing result, my teeth look naturally brighter. The staff were friendly, professional, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality dental care!

Negative experience: Good Evening, This Email is from the Manager who is in charge On Figger Marsh. I am writing to complain about what happened on my appointment today 4/3/2025  evening at 18:30pm Besically, I had an appointment booked to do the Ruth Canal, and the crown for all ammount £1,400  paid the deposit £180 as they requested it On 30/01/2025 by phone with my card. Now they waranty that : on my last Check that i paid about  £26 that my circumstances haven't changed at all anything about my tooth  as they sent it to me the new quote to proceed with bit higher that last one previously from last year but, they confirmed by email that Dr ... she will give me the Tratment. Now I am very extremely disappointed and frustrated as this is the Story :Last year I had have registered as New Client and as new Client we need pass the Check all the tooth as this is the procedure and I paid £26 and somthing after Dr..... she provided the quote for all the jobs to carry out that I wasn't able to attend. But, this year  besically after one year, I was happy to re - contact the ( Figges Marsh Dental) and start it the Tratment. when i called  they found me quick on  computer and booked for the new check as it was one year ago and besically need it re -  do it and happy to reschedule the new check visit my tooth. The lady wasn't Dr..... she was an other lady that she checked all, and she confirmed that: My teeth are like last year, nothing changed. So after that they sent it the new quote obviously a bit more expensive that last year as the price is got up but, I have accepted it and paid the deposit and booked it. the problem of all this is i spoke with Dr... ...and she told me that my tooth is not like last year and the quote it will be from £1,400  to £1,600 I explained to her why? And she was nice to show  all my teeth on the computer and she was honest to offer the option with an implant instead as the Crown and Ruth canal  as i will weast mony and  it will not last longer maximum 2 years, that is why she proposed the implant and discussed with Dr......as it will be about £2,800 but, of course, we don't know for sure, and that's why it will be nice to discuss it with him. Well my Point is I paid for Check out again after one  year to make sure to carry out the Tratment and happy to pay bit more but, not with this new news that i heard this evening that my tooth is not like before.... So what I tried was to say the lady she checked out of me she made a mistake and this is a big mistake and negligence also west money and Times too. I am not happy and very disappointed Now i booked a straight way with the receptionist with Dr .... for At list Free consultation ad this is the minimum they can do do it to repair where they mistake so from my £26 that I paid from the checkout that lady she made a mistake to  top up as Dr ....for a consultation is £40 so to put the difference on top of the £ 26 If is not possibly possible to do that I like to have a refund of my checkout out as soon as possible and I will cancel the booking and also my refund of £180 that I paid as deposit upfront. I hope you will understand  what happens, and I hope you do an investigation inside I would really appreciate it if you could come back to me as soon as possible Kind regards V. L

Fantastic experience: I had a dental checkup at this practice for the first time, and all of the staff were lovely and welcoming. My appointment was with Dr Ameeka. She was very kind and reassuring and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. She educated me about the tooth x-ray and answered any questions I had, easing my anxiety and helping me understand my teeth and how to take care of them. The dental assistant she worked with was very kind as well. I had a great experience here, and I’m returning soon for a hygienist appointment. I strongly recommend this practice if you want nonjudgmental and accommodating treatment. Extra notes: - You can have an interpreter with you if English isn’t your first language - The pricing for treatment is very reasonable

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Figges Marsh Dental for about 2 years now and could not reccomend enough. I had extensive treatment with a dental implant, surgery and invisalign and had amazing treatment every single time. From the hygienists, nurses and front of house to having Ameeka as my dentist, I had a great experience every single time. I will keep going here even if I ever move from the area - for me, the treatment and care the staff here provide is amazing!

Fantastic experience: I am absolutely thrilled to be one of the patients of Figges marsh dental. My younger sister begged me to fly to uk from hongkong to be seen at the practise and I have never looked back and regretted my decision. I never felt understood about how I felt about my teeth and haven’t had the confidence to smile for more than 20 years due to my teeth. Fantastic experience: Really happy with my experience at Figges Marsh Dental. I'd moved to Tooting recently and then smashed my teeth, so needed some repair work. I was very nervous about going to a new dentist to get it fixed, but Dr Emily was great at talking me through everything and answering my follow up questions,. After having the work done I'm happy as can be with the results. You'd never tell there was any damage! Will be going back here for my regular checkups now.

Fantastic experience: All the staff have been very helpful and friendly since I registered in August 2021. My initial appointment with Emily Humphreys was very thorough. After an examination, Emily took photos and talked me through a proposed treatment plan. Explained everything clearly, answered all my questions and made me aware of the worst case scenarios. Within two weeks I had my three hour appointment and Emily was brilliant! I am very pleased with the results and the very high standard of treatment I received. I am in very safe hands. Johanne the hygienist and her assistant were very thorough and cleaned and polished my teeth and I really felt the difference. Afterwards Emily my dentist, as usual, performed a very thorough examination, took photos and xrays and explained everything to me very clearly as well as providing advice. The staff here really care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Matilda is the best dentist i have been to. I was really nervous coming in and she was so reassuring that we would be able to get everything sorted. Dr Matilda is honest and kind and goes through in detail all the different options she has for your teeth which was really nice. I Would 100% recommend.

From the moment I stepped into the reception, warm and friendly smiles greeted me, and I knew I was in good hands. Once in the chair, Dr. Tilly's professionalism shone like a bright smile on a sunny day. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable and knows her way around those pearly (almost) whites! But it's not just the technical stuff; the care and sensitivity were a breath of fresh air. Every effort was made to make me feel comfortable during the treatment. It had been 3 yrs of struggling with my previous dentist to get this work done, and she completed it in a few months. I cannot recommend her and the team at Figges Marsh enough

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the Figges Marsh Dental surgery. I have avoided going to the dentist for over 20 years,due to past experiences. I eventually had to because of the state of my teeth and gums. Figges Marsh Dental surgery was recommended by a family member. My first appointment was with Dr Tilly Houston. She made my feel comfortable. Asked about my past experience and assured me that she would make the experience a good one. We discussed what needed to done,how it would be done and why it needed to done. I cannot praise Dr Tilly Houston enough for her empathy and professionalism. I must also mention the friendly reception and nursing staff.

Positive experience: Good service over the phone and the possibility of an early appointment if you have an emergency. I came twice for the same problem and was charged double. I informed the clinic by email and written review about the diagnosis of my gum infection, and they refunded my money. Thank you, Ameeka, for your interest and cooperation. .

Fantastic experience: Dr Saj Alidina has been absolutely fantastic. Previously, I had a major fear of going to the dentist and Dr Saj has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and check that I’m ok throughout the procedures that I’ve had done. I’m not yet finished my treatment and although I’m still nervous I have so much less fear about going back. I was due to have a root canal but ended up getting a filling instead as the root canal wasn’t necessary. Kelsie Brodie is my hygienist and is also excellent at putting me at ease and explaining everything, she’s been great. I couldn’t recommend Saj & Kelsie anymore, they’ve completely changed my perception of the dentist and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Fantastic experience: I was worried initially about taking pot luck whilst looking for a good local dentist. So pleased that I was able to register as a patient with this excellent Practice. From my initial telephone call onwards, the reception staff were always professional, friendly and accommodating. On my initial visit I noticed how modern the surgery was. My first appointment was with Dr Tilly Houston. She took the time to ask about my dental history and after examination showed me x-ray results before explaining fully what dental work was required, what my options were and her recommended course of treatment. I left the surgery happy with a clear plan of what dental work was to be undertaken. Over the course of three further appointments Tilly, ably assisted by the marvellous nurses, carried out the work agreed and having gained full confidence in her expertise over this time, I was very happy with the outcome. To be honest, I hadn’t looked forward to visiting a dentist again but Tilly and all the staff I encountered made the experience a positive one. They are a credit to the Practice.

Fantastic experience: Started Invisalign treatment with Ameeka in February and I’m really glad I decided to do it… I’ve always liked my smile apart from some mild crowding on the bottom teeth but now I love it! Really happy they look great. The Hygienists have been amazing helping me keep them clean throughout the process… thanks ladies :)

Fantastic experience: Got a root canal treatment and Dr. Sajjidali made the entire process easier. I was scared because people said it would be painful but my experience wasn't at all. I was also worried about the financial aspect but the options given were very flexible and worked well. Everyone was warm and friendly from the receptionists to dental assistants. Fantastic experience: I have been with this dental practice since 2008 and have always had a positive experience. My last visits were particularly wonderful with Dr Tilly Houston. She took exceptional care and gave advice/explanations for treatments honestly, patiently and very clearly. Throughout the procedures, she explained what she was doing and ensured that I was comfortable. I am not usually nervous about going to the dentist but I can surely say that her warm nature would be really helpful for such patients. It really helped me at a difficult time of parental bereavement. All the dentists, dental hygienists and other staff I have met here have always been professional and friendly - I can't think of a thing to to fault them. I do have to admit, though, that Dr Tilly Houston is definitely my favourite dentist, ever. Thank you for your great service :)

Positive experience: Just signed up here and have had a great first experience. I'm nervous about injections after a traumatic tooth extraction, but the nurse and dentist were great at taking care of me and telling me what they were doing at each stage. Also once you're signed up you can get appointments in a really reasonable time. Was surprised to get evening appointment too which is great for after work. Would recommend.

Dr Tilly Houston and Dr Elena Newton have been taking care of my teeth and my mouth feels healthier than ever. Fantastic experience: This is the best dental surgery that I have been to. They are attentive and caring towards their patients and ensure that all their queries and concerns are adequately resolved. For example, I had concerns regarding the booking and deposit procedure, not only was this properly explained to me but they were happy to take on feedback on how to improve the system. Very customer-centric, I highly recommend this clinic for all your dental needs.

Negative experience: I was quite surprised to have such a negative experience at this practice, as I had booked an appointment after seeing the positive feedback and experiences. Upon arrival I filled in some forms and went in to see the dentist. I had some sensitivity complaints and cracks on my teeth. As I am on the NHS there wasn’t much moving forward other than a mouth guard and some small fillings. I was told to apply toothpaste for the sensitivity. After the appointment I went to reception to book in the recommended treatments. At reception I encountered the guardian of dentistry, gatekeeper of the floss. I had encountered some rude receptionists in my lifetime but this woman took the crown (pun intended). I handed over the forms and simply stated I didn’t want to book any private treatments, after this she started repeating herself to which I said again I did not want to book any private treatments. After this she started to get extremely rude and defensive to which I was shocked as you would think I yelled obscenities to merit this kind of response. I called her out on treating me that way to which she developed an immediate nonchalant attitude. I would be shocked to experience this treatment anywhere but particularly shocked to experience it in a professional setting such as this one. After that I just wanted to leave as I did not want to book anything after being told off for no reason as though I had received detention. I left the practice in tears because I was so confused as to what the hell had happened. I just wanted a check-up, I didn’t expect to have my entire day ruined by a disrespectful woman. Maybe she didn’t get her daily dose of sensodyne that morning. In conclusion my teeth are the same and I got told off for free? Yay.

Fantastic experience: EDIT: I would like to update my comment below. The surgery did try hard to accommodate and did take my complaint seriously. No one is perfect and I certainly am not and so don't expect anyone else to be. However, the surgery dealt with the imperfect situation perfectly and so for that I am very grateful. Terrible service 4 of my children are registered here my wife spent over £1000 on dental work with Dr Sajjadali. However, my daughter has lost a filling when asking for an appointment they will only see her at 1/2pm. My wife and i both work. When i said i will find another dentist she showed no care just said ok then and said you can email and complain. They are clearly making too much money to care about their patients. If my daughter was not going through NHS im sure they would have had an appointment when i wanted it. Well you have just lost 5 patients... but i am sure you wont care

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my treatment at Figges Marsh Dental surgery after a poor experience at Simply Bright (Mitcham). Rohan (Dentist) has been incredibly informative throughout the whole process and taken his time to get the right outcome instead of just rushing each session. Their equipment is modern. The reception staff are very friendly (accommodating with appointments to my work schedule) and love how clean the surgery is. I have just recommended a friend and will do so again.

Fantastic experience: I have to say a huge THANK YOU to Tilly! Short story ... After 2 years of trying to get my nervous daughter to have descaling/cleaning work done with my original dentist (who refused to treat her in the end because she was so scared) it took 2 visits to Tilly to get her to feel safe and secure enough to have the treatment. We can’t thank you enough Tilly. Long story....At a regular checkup to our original dentist over 2 years ago, my daughter (now 9) was told she needed some descaling work done. Since that time she began to get extremely nervous about visiting the dentist, anxiety attacks about the appointment, hyperventilating and crying when she got there, a bag of nerves shaking in the chair. Over the next 2 years we had regular visits to try and sort the problem with her teeth but to no avail. The original dentist referred her to hospital twice but this was turned down as she was not needing anything more than cleaning work done. The problem worsened and started to affect the health of her teeth and gums, she had trouble eating and became embarrassed to smile. Even so, she was still too scared to have any work done. My original dentist eventually told me I should look for a private dentist and pay to have her sedated while the work was carried out as they could not treat her because she was so anxious. Again, this worsened my daughters anxiety as she did not want to be sedated. I looked into the treatment (which was in excess of £500) and tried to talk my daughter into it but she was adamant she did not want to be sedated. Our next 6 month check I decided to try another dentist to see if they could help, they did! On the first appointment they recognised her extreme anxiety and dealt with it in a calm and caring manor, they spoke to HER, reassured HER, discussed the treatment with HER and made her feel almost completely at ease. They made a referral to a gum specialist and asked to see us every 3 months to try to put my daughter at ease. After this visit my daughter told me she really liked Tilly and that she was going to have the descaling done and she did! On the second visit! Tilly gently spoke her through every step of the treatment, took her time, stopped when she was asked and continually reassured my daughter until she had completely removed the build up of plaque. My daughter was so proud of herself and rightly so but I’m not sure she would have had the treatment done had we not found Tilly. We are extremely grateful, thank you. We will see Tilly in 2 weeks for a checkup on my daughters gums after treatment and my daughter is actually not showing any anxiety about going.

Fantastic experience: Dr Matilda Houston is brilliant. She was so informative and I didn’t feel rushed at all and she listened to everything I had to say, an asset to your team. I would definitely like to see her for any further appointments! The reception team are helpful as always too.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing Dental Practice. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I had new veneers fitted with Sophia and I am so pleased with them. I can't stop smiling! Sophia explained everything clearly throughout the whole process and she listened to any questions that I had. Sophia is very approachable and made me feel at ease. I also have had treatment with Laura who again is very approachable and explained the necessary procedures very clearly. The receptionists at the practice are great as well- especially Elaine and Natasha.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous when going for my first check up after a traumatic emergency appointment elsewhere. I was seen by Dr Tilly who took some time to understand my situation and give my teeth a thorough check. She explained the next steps in detail and reassured me that all will be ok. Today I attended my treatment appointment, was up at 2am anxious about needing an anaesthetic injection. True to her word, Dr Tilly reassured me that she would do everything possible to make the procedure as comfortable as possible. She talked me through everything she was doing and alleviated my nerves throughout. I have already recommended her to family and friends. 5 stars from me!

Fantastic experience: Really good practice, all staff are friendly, professional and super welcoming. My kids and I get treatment there, kids are made to feel secure and welcome. Elaine on reception is excellent. My dentist is Tilly Houston, I can honestly say she is amazing. The only dentist is that has ever with me taken time to fully explain my X-rays treatment plans, and oral health all in a fully accessible way. She has a really open, warm manner with her patients. Fantastic experience: Was recommended Figges Marsh by my old housemate, as I was looking for somewhere reliable in South West London to have Invisalign and Composite Bonding done. Ameeka, the owner, was extremely helpful in our consultation, recommending me all the possible options at clearly laid out prices. Fantastic experience: I take my kids to Figges Marsh Dental Practice. They are great with them! It's quite easy to get appointments and when I have had any problems the receptionists have been really helpful. We've seen several dentists there just because we're happy to see whoever is available first and they've all been lovely. My kids have no problems jumping right up in the chair and opening wide! The dentists are always happy to answer questions and have a bit of a discussion when necessary. So happy to have this local dentist.

Fantastic experience: I right this review to recommend this dentist and to tell others this is the best dental surgery I have ever been too. My denist is Tilly Houston and I can honestly say I dont have enough words to say how brilliant she is. From the moment I stepped in this place i was made to feel at ease and comfortable, the receptionists are down to earth and friendly and Tilly and her nurse have been amazing. I went in expecting to be told the worst and that i would need dentures but this was not the case Tilly sat me down and had a detailed chat to me about how we can get me to smile again without having a whole mouth full of dentures and I actually cried with happiness. I have had 3 appointments here now and todays was to have 4 teeth taken out of which i didnt feel a thing (yippee). I have a couple more appointments to go and then i should be able to smile with confidence again I honestly cannot thank figges marsh dental enough for the help they are giving me and the advice too. If you are wary of going to the dentist please give these a try you will walk out of here feeling worth it and happy and confident. Fantastic experience: I'm a big believer in trusting the professionals and leaving them to do what they they do best. Every staff member I interacted with did exactly that; what they do best! I felt reassured throughout. Everything was explained clearly to me, and despite asking every question under the sun, I wasn't rushed. Hugely grateful to Dr Alidina and the team for their patience, punctuality, and professionalism from start to finish. Whilst I hope I don't need to be back soon for any treatment(!), if I do need any, it's a no brainer that I'll be back, even if I do need to travel far!

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Dr Ameeka and the team at Figges Marsh Dental enough, they have been highly professional and understanding of my needs as I am disabled due to a Stroke. During the initial consultation Dr Ameeka was friendly and very reassuring offered superb help and advised me of my options as I had lost several teeth at the front of my mouth having had a bad fall. Dr.Ameeka produced a written treatment plan which included the extraction of several broken teeth plus a great deal of work to make a large bridge to replace several teeth all of which Ameeka and her nurse had to carry out on a nervous disabled man with limited mobility and is a coward when it comes to pain. The bridge replacing the teeth has produced excellent results I am extremely pleased with and has gone a long way to improve my confidence and I no longer seem so grumpy as I can smile again. Therefor I can highly recommend Ameeka and her team at Figges Marsh Dental. See you all again soon, Peter Bannister.

Fantastic experience: I have just finished the Invisalign process with Sophia and my final smile looks better than I could even imagine. Every appointment Sophia took her time and was very patient explaining everything each step of the way. She was also very supportive knowing my general fear of the dentist and made sure I always felt comfortable.
