Fantastic experience: The best dentist I have ever had. (I’m 68) I have been going to Ascent for about 3 years now and my experience has been consistently positive. My dentist, Jaz, is brilliant. He is friendly, always listens and is interested in me and how I feel. Treatment has always been gentle and painless. Every member of the Ascent team I have encountered has been wonderful. I used to avoid going to the dentist as I was too nervous but not any more. I recommend Ascent 100%

Fantastic experience: Just had my 6 monthly Clean & Polish with Hygienist Nikita, assisted by Dental Nurse Harriet. I was made to feel very welcome which immediately makes you feel at ease Firstly, I was asked if I had any concerns.. Nikita then explained what she was going to do and also demonstrated a technique I was to implement into my routine. Both Nikita & Harriet make you feel at ease, are informative and happy to answer any concerns, making my appointment a very pleasant one. Would highly recommend

Negative experience: False promises and misleading… I’ve held back on posting this for a long time, but my experience with Ascent Dental Care — specifically with how they handled my ICON White treatment — has been so disappointing, I can’t stay silent anymore. While the dentists and clinicians I saw were always kind, skilled, and professional, the way I’ve been misled by Gursh (the owner) and parts of the management team has left a bitter taste I can’t ignore. At the very start of my treatment, I booked a consultation specifically to discuss ICON White for two stained teeth. Gursh personally told me it was suitable for my case, and that it would be included free of charge. He confirmed this not once, but several times, which is the only reason I committed to a full treatment plan. My written plan even includes “stain removal,” which I was clearly told referred to ICON. Over the next two years, I attended appointment after appointment — no matter how far I had to travel — trusting that everything was going as promised. I even went all the way to Leamington Spa just to meet with Gursh and confirm that ICON was still going ahead. At that appointment, he didn’t deny any of it — he simply said he’d get back to me with a price. That’s when things started to feel off. Suddenly, ICON White wasn’t available. Then I was told it would be £300 for two teeth. A few days later — after I questioned the price — I was told I now needed composite bonding and additional work, and the cost had gone up to £800. How convenient that ICON was unavailable just long enough for the price and complexity to escalate. One staff member I spoke to in person told me she would email Gursh to confirm what he had said to me — but she never followed up. Later, a different staff member called me and acted warm and friendly on the phone — only to tell Gursh that I’d “threatened her with a bad review,” which was absolutely false. That moment confirmed this wasn’t about resolving anything — it was about protecting the clinic’s image, not supporting their patients. When I finally spoke with Gursh again — months ago now — he seemed far more concerned with finding my original appointment email from two years ago than actually addressing what I was going through. He said I could come in for another consultation, but that I’d still have to pay full price for ICON — despite everything he’d promised me before. Since then? Nothing. No call, no follow-up, no apology. It’s been months, and it’s clear he’s hoping I’ve let it go. I haven’t. To be fair, the clinic did give me my retainer replacement, which I appreciated — but that doesn’t undo the two years of confusion, silence, and being completely misled about treatment I was promised from the start. I expect Ascent may respond to this with the usual: • “ICON was never free,” • “We document everything,” • “We offered solutions.” But let’s be honest — none of those things actually happened. I wasn’t offered any meaningful solution, just shifting explanations and silence. They may document a lot, but not the verbal promises that Gursh made to me face-to-face. I’ve been a loyal patient for years. I followed every instruction, attended every appointment — even when it meant long travel — and gave this clinic my trust. What I got in return was mixed messages, quiet backpedaling, and no accountability. Again, I want to be clear: the dentists and doctors here are wonderful, and I have no complaints about the clinical work itself. But when management fails to take responsibility and doesn’t keep its word, it overshadows everything else. Any professional practice should stand by what it tells its patients. Ascent didn’t. I would suggest staying far away from this place.

Fantastic experience: I was highly recommend to Ascent Dental Care and am pleased to say they have come up to my expectations. From the moment I walked in I was impressed. The greeting from Ellie was wonderful. She immediately put me at ease and explained everything in great detail as to what was to happen. She also Joined in the consultation with Nayan Patel and his assistant, whereby we discussed the options I had. I was extremely grateful to Nayan as he thoroughly went through the options in great detail and recommended an extraction and bridge. He could have easily recommended very expensive implants which would have done the same job but when questioned why not he said in his opinion he thinks this would be better for me. He was very professional and you could see how enthusiastic he was about his job with a very caring side and a good sense of humour which always goes down well with me. He also said in order to avoid further work, of which I was already aware of, if I saw his colleague about my gum disease it could hopefully stop these further intrusive works being done. I was given a full plan of what was involved and the cost at every stage. I am having the first treatment tomorrow and through my experience so far I am pleased to say I am not at all nervous.

Dr. Harpreet Raindi performed an enameloplasty, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I was initially worried that the treatment might change the overall look of my smile or face, but Dr. Raindi was incredibly reassuring and attentive. She was a true perfectionist, carefully shaping my teeth with such precision to ensure the final result looked completely natural—and it does! I still look like myself, just more confident. She took the time to get everything just right, and it really shows. I can finally smile without feeling self-conscious, and I’m so grateful. He is a perfectionist and wants the very best for his patients. Mo has a vast amount of knowledge and expertise. I am extremely happy to have my smile back. Fantastic experience: I'm having some bridge work done at the moment and every visit that I have had so far has gone smoothly. I'm still about 2 months away from having the final bridge fitted but so far everything is going brilliantly. The staff and the Dentist are all so pleasant and always have a smile on their face. Fantastic experience: I have seen Nikita for my hygienist appointment at Ascent Dental care. Nikita was welcoming and explained everything she was doing before she did it, she talked me through any concerns and how to treat certain problems. Nikita was caring and ensured I was okay throughout the appointment, she also sent a follow up email after my appointment with instructions for cleaning and where to buy the items I needed from, which was very much appreciated! Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of an appointment with Nikita the Dental Hygienist at Accent dental in Dorridge today. It’s not really something you look forward to! …. but it was a lovely appointment Nikita was really informative and helpful and spent plenty of time explaining some issues I had and how we could work to resolve them. Both Nikita and her assistant Michelle made sure I was comfortable throughout the treatment. My mouth feels brand new and I’m reassured I’m in good hands.

Positive experience: I normally do not leave any comments/reviews but it was such a wonderful experience being at the clinic. Very respectful doctor (Dr.Ajay Dhunna), he knows his job well. He walked me through the procedure step by step, never got bothered by my questions, and he was very caring during and after procedure too. The staff also were nice and helpful. I really loved the fact that the hygiene level is remarkable, and the place is very tidy and clean. I believe it will be THE CLINIC I will always consider when it comes to my dental- related issues. I was painfully embarrassed about my phobia and the hidden impact it was having on my dental health. From the moment i went for my first appointment with Ascent dental i wasn't judged and all the team are always so understanding and supportive. They are simply outstanding at what they do. Fantastic experience: Went to ascent dental Solihull yesterday for a tooth extraction under sedation for orthodontic treatment I’m having locally to where I live (I’m too anxious to get it out without sedation) and I cannot even express how lovely the entire team is, from Reception, to the nurses, to the dentist I saw, everyone was so lovely and reassuring despite my anxiety, I felt extremely looked after and it was also very affordable compared to some other quotes I’ve had! Cannot fault them, I would give them 10 stars if I could! Wonderful experience for someone who is so terrified of needles in my mouth!

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous patient - the anxiety before having treatment is unreal. However, I have had two treatments with sedation now with Jas and both have gone very smoothly. The team are amazing at keeping you calm. Previous experiences at other dentists have always seemed rushed which has led to so many negative experiences. I had emergency treatment at an NHS dentist a couple of weeks prior, and despite having an x-ray, they didn't pick up a couple of issues with other teeth, but Jas after a thorough examination noticed these and explained the problem and resolution straight away. This was then all completed the following week in one very calm treatment. I would recommend the team (and the sedation) to any patient who wants the dentist to be a more positive experience rather than one that fills you with anxiety. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Before I started my invaslign journey I had engaged with multiple providers, but as soon as I met with Gursh and the team I knew straight away that Ascent Dental Care Solihull was the place I wanted to proceed with the invisalign journey and I am glad I did. Fantastic experience: Honestly I cannot thank the dentists and staff here enough After suffering with toothache for 2 days I was depserate to get in somewhere as the pain was unbearable. I have not been to the dentist for 5+ years after a bad experience with my previous dentist i’ve never been back and I was SO nervous! We rang on wednesday at 2pm and the receptionist said they could get me in at 4:30 that day. When we got there we was greeted and the receptionists were SO lovely! The dentist I saw( i think it was Mo?) Made me feel so so comfortable he understood how nervous I was and made me feel at ease straight away! He numbed me right up for pain relief and offered for me to have it out the day after! I went back and saw another dentist he recommended and being a nervous wreck and this being my first tooth extraction I was so nervous and scared! He made sure I was relaxed and kept checking on me which I really appreciated, I can’t remember the dentists name but he was so lovely and I was in and out within 20mins! He got my tooth out in one! I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Ascent for everything they have done, I know to some people it’s just having a tooth out, but for me to step foot in a dentist was a real big thing and I’m so glad we found Ascent! Your staff are all a credit to the business and I would 100000% come in the future

Fantastic experience: A positive experience, jass explained the procedure clear, told me my options. I'm a nervous and anxious patient but was put at ease by Jass and his team. They do a follow up call/text the day after to ensure you are well and if you have any questions regarding the treatment received. The cost of treatment is clear from the beggining with a detailed treatment plan and the expected duration of each appointment. I am glad I trusted my Instincts with choosing Ascent dentist my only regret is I never found them earlier.

Fantastic experience: I went to check if I could still wear my retainers after not wearing them for a couple of years and my teeth moving. I expected to be told that I would have to have more retainers made, which would be costly. However, rose informed me that as long as I could still get my retainers on, which I could, then it was fine to wear them :-) Rose was really friendly and helpful. I also had my 4 year old daughter with me and Rose was absolutely lovely with her, pretending to check her teeth as well :-)

Fantastic experience: Probably one of the best choices I have made by choosing to go Dr Yasmin! I cannot thank her enough and seriously can’t fault the service you receive at the clinic. After being let down by the NHS service I was soo put off but Yasmin reassured me and explained how long the procedure would be and how it would work. I seriously cannot fault the service that you receive at this clinic! After years of feeling very insecure about my teeth Yasmin came through and made me feel confident as ever! Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant. Was terrified of dentists till my daughter told me about them and they put me under same dentist as her. Harprit and she has been so good and I now got dentures that are natural looking. Care from everyone from receptionists to the dentist and dental assistants I couldn’t fault. Well worth money I have spent. Definitely recommend them and they don’t try and push you into most expensive treatment in fact they try and keep costs down

Fantastic experience: Had a raging toothache and called Ascent Solihull. I was given a next day appointment and received antibiotics to fight the infection. Elisha on reception was fantastic. Great work by Jas and Eve in sorting out the initial issue closely followed by a new appointment to do a root canal. Cannot fault this practice at all.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Ascent Dental Care enough for having the patience, the sympathy, the empathy and their support they have given me throughout my visits. Although I have only had three visits, I have had a fear of the dentist for many years through having bad experiencies resulting in me not attending to my oral health. Harpreet (Dentist) and her team have been amazing so far in helping me conquer this fear and have given me nothing but support to do this and help me through this process. I would recommend any nervous patient to book an appointment as the treatment is person centred, and specific to your needs as an individual. The team are kind, caring, respectful and always willing to listen to what you have to express. Rose and Harpreet in particular are excellent at reducing anxiety, levels of fear and make you comfortable in every way. Once again, I cannot thank you all enough for supporting me through my journeya nd I would recommend this dental practice to anybody with a fear of the dentist.

Negative experience: I had 3 re-root canal treatment done in March. Unfortunately after the treatment I still had pain which, with further investigation, was related to an atypical facial nerve pain. I continued the treatment with an oral surgeon because my pain was severe. The 20th of May I had a CT Scan at Ascent Dental Care in order to investigate further and check if there was any other issues. The report was expected to be ready within 2 weeks, maximum 3. After that, I tried to call the clinic every week in order to get the report but I was always told that the report was not ready yet or that they didn’t know (secretary told me) wether it was ready or not. I was always told that someone would have been in contact with me to give me some updates. After 3 months I am still waiting for the results. I took one day off from work, 2 weeks ago, just to go to the clinic a talk to someone face to face. I spoke to the manager who assured me that she would have called me back by the end of the day. Yet no updates after 2 weeks. I really felt like I was a burden to them, all this hassle just to get a CT scan report. Everybody were so kind and polite until I paid £3000 for the treatment but then they acted different, manager included. I went to this clinic because it was one of best clinic in terms of reviews. What a shame! I really felt like they were making fun of me,lately. I didn’t expect that from Ascent Dental Care, being such a highly rated clinic. I gave up at this point.

Fantastic experience: Where to even start with Ascent Dental Care… after years of being unhappy with my teeth due to them being crooked and discoloured I decided now was the time to do something about it. Before finding Ascent I went to a dentist to up north that a friend had been to and even thought about going to Turkey to get the smile I dreamed of. After deciding to look a little more local I found Ascent Dental online, the first thing I came across were their reviews and after being very impressed by what I saw I booked a consultation with Yas. From the very first appointment Yas put me an ease explained exactly what needed to be done, realistically how long it would take and explained to me in depth the risks of going to Turkey. Yas told me to just bear with her and give her 12-18 moths and she could give me the smile I wanted. I was sold, this is the dentist for me. I was sent away with a treatment plan including all costs and sat down with Rose and discussed payments. Over the course of the last 18 months I have had two crowns, Invisalign to straighten my teeth and finally four porcelain veneers to finish off the smile I always dreamed of. I seriously cannot fault the service that you receive at this clinic, and I genuinely mean everyone I dealt with, the girls on reception who deal with your appointments and payments Charlotte & Ellisha, Rose who sorts out your treatment plan and any queries you may have, the dental nurses Eve & Latifah who are both always full of banter and last but no means least Yas who really has given the confidence to smile again! She really is an incredible dentist, she will not let you get out of the chair until both you and her are completely happy with your new smile. You really can tell that it’s more than just a job to her, it’s a passion! She went the extra mile for me and managed to sort out my veneers before I went on holiday as I had booked my final appointment for when I was away. I simply cannot thank you all enough. The team filled me with confidence and reassurance and are all professional and kind. Dental care is not cheap but that perfect smile is worth every penny alongside the peace of mind that you're in good hands I would recommend Ascent to anybody! I feel 100% better about my teeth and smile now!

Negative experience: I don’t even know where to start first of all they gave me the wrong appointment time, and I had to wait in the reception area for over an hour and a half to be seen. They never texted me my appointment and told me over the phone. that it would be at a certain time and I came at that time only to wait. The dentist only saw me for about a minute just to tell me to essentially go somewhere else and that she does not want to help me with my issue. So I came all the way to be told to go home. I had also asked for other dental treatments and she told me to see my regular dentist which is fully booked, and I’m currently in pain which is why I came there in the first place. Very bad customer service and they also made me feel like my dental issues was not important, despite me telling them that I was in pain, and I was uncomfortable with the look of my teeth . I have been in pain for weeks without seeing a dentist and I finally thought that they would help me, but unfortunately they just wasted my time. They could’ve easily told me over the phone they did not want to assist me. However they waited until I came there and wasted my time to tell me that my pain isn’t their business. I was initially hopeful to come to this clinic due to all the good reviews, but I was greatly disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I Highly recommend this dental practice. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Dr Harpreet did a fantastic job on my upper front teeth. A very skilled and professional young lady.

Positive experience: Ascent dental practice have done a great job with my teeth! The staff are friendly aswell. I would suggest one improvement that would be on time management. As I have had to wait 25-30 mins more for my turn despite booking an appointment.

Fantastic experience: AMAZING! Staff are all lovely, very welcoming, and polite. I was seen about 3-4 hours after calling for an appointment and was told by other dentist that I couldn't be seen for at least a week! Not only did they see me the same day, but they also treated the issue immediately. The dentist who treated me was also great! Explaining everything to me and listening to my concerns made me feel very comfortable. Couldn't be happier with my experience... Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: As someone with an extreme fear of everything dental, I can't recommend Ascent enough. All of the staff are the most knowledgeable, loveliest, most patient people. The service is amazing and the fees are really reasonable. After 20 years of dentist hopping and emergency treatment, I finally feel I am on the road to overcoming my fears. Actually excited for the next part of my dental plan!

Negative experience: The customer service I have received from this dental practice is disgraceful. There was something I was unhappy with following my initial consultation so I fed this back to the practice and was told that it would be passed on to the practice manager who would look into it and be in touch. I had to wait five months for a response and this was only received after I said that I would be leaving a negative Google review. I was promised a letter several times which failed to arrive meaning I had to keep chasing it up only to be continuously fobbed off. It mysteriously got lost in the post twice but I have not had problems with any other post so don’t believe that it was ever sent. After my first appointment they did not stop phoning me to see if I wanted to proceed with any treatment but as soon as I made it obvious I would not be spending any further money it conveniently became very difficult to get any communication out of them. I have basically been treated as an inconvenience after submitting negative feedback. After finally receiving a letter, I was also promised a phone call from the practice manager but unsurprisingly that never happened. It seems that this practice is just interested in getting money out of people and not the care of the patients themselves. I am most angry about how I have been treated in the aftermath rather than what happenend to start with. Luckily, I have since found another dental practice who have been fantastic and really gone out of their way to help me. They have also offered the same treatment option £300 cheaper.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth done not while ago, Yasmin Shakarchy is my dr dentist! She’s is phenomenal! She knows exactly what she’s doing and has fixed my smile. I had Invisalign done. If you’re thinking of getting your teeth done, go with Dr Yasmin!!! She’s based in Birmingham & Solihull Trust me you won’t regret it I am one happy customer xx

Fantastic experience: I was initially referred to this practice as a very nervous patient with complex dental issues. From the moment I set foot through the door, I was greeted with warmth & empathy, from the receptionists, to Rose, the practice co-ordinator & then Moh, the endodontist, who expertly assessed my needs & agreed a plan of treatment. At every stage of my treatment, I have been fully informed of the processes involved & my nervousness has been respected & worked on to the point where I haven't needed sedation at all ( a first for me). I have built up a good relationship of trust in Moh & the team throughout the course of my treatment. The treatment isn't cheap, but again, there are payment options available to help spread the cost & the quality of the treatment provided makes it worth it. I would totally recommend Ascent Dental to anyone in a similar position as I was. They are light years ahead of any NHS practice I have ever attended. My sincere thanks to Moh & the team for all they've done for me.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, rang with a very painful toothache, given emergency appointment and recommended next steps. Following not being able to move up the NHS waiting list and still in pain returned after Christmas for extraction. What i was expecting to be a horrible painful process was done painlessly and efficiently and i cant speak highly enough of both Dentists i saw and the rest of the team. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: From the moment i entered, i was met by the lovely receptionist and staff. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Negative experience: Terrible experience. I went first for a check up, the dr made a plan for me which included some fillings. 1. she has done filling but didn't actually cleaned the tooth ( I found out from my current dentist that he needs to remove the filling now and clear the tooth from cavities) 2. She did not mentioned a cavity I had on my front tooth. 3. She said that one of the tooth might need root canal or even taken out,only to find out from my current dentist that all it needs is a filling. I don't understand where from the wonderful reviews. My experience was expensive and useless.

From the initial visit they were professional and efficient. The treatment from Yasmine and the team at Ascent was excellent, perhaps a little uncomfortable at times but not painful.
