Glow Dentistry - Hampstead Clinic

Negative experience: I would strongly caution anyone with jaw issues to avoid Dr Nathan at Glow Dentistry. While the practice itself may be fine for general dentistry, Dr Nathan is not a jaw specialist, though he presents himself as if he is. I was given a night guard that he said would resolve my grinding, but it was poorly made and ended up moving my teeth. My lower teeth are now crooked and require orthodontic treatment to fix the damage. Since then, three dentists and a jaw specialist have confirmed the guard was made incorrectly, placed on the wrong jaw, and should never have been worn for the duration advised. None of this was communicated to me by Dr Nathan. When I raised my concerns, instead of taking responsibility, he accused me of sending my husband to collect it and dismissed my experience. If you need general dentistry, Glow may be fine, but if you have jaw issues, please stay away. They are not experts in this area, and claiming otherwise is highly misleading.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Glow Dental for about 10 years and have never received anything other than the finest dental treatment and the utmost attention to professionalism. Dr Prashar and his staff are not only lovely people, they are serious pros. Best in the business, and I’ve seen ‘em all :)

Dr. Mitul is an excellent specialist — extremely smart, knowledgeable, and clearly up to date with the latest techniques and tools. He uses cutting-edge technology to make sure everything is as precise, comfortable, and efficient as possible. The clinic itself is modern and high-tech, which gave me a lot of confidence right from the start. Like many people, I’m a very nervous patient but team are fantastic. I recently discovered an issue with a wisdom tooth that needed extracting asap. I was fitted in the next day and Nathan was brilliant. He put me at ease and took time to ensure the procedure was painless. The online booking system is great too.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best clinic. I honestly couldn’t recommend Dr Sara Cohen enough, she’s an outstanding dentist. I came to her for a second opinion after a different dentist said I needed a wisdom tooth extraction due to an ache in my back teeth. Dr Cohen took one look and saw that the problem was in fact something that was easily fixed with absolutely no need to extract the tooth! It has now been 24 hours since I saw her and I am pain free (after having this ache for almost a year) I regret not seeing her sooner!!!! 10/10 experience, the receptionists are also very kind and accommodating. A very positive experience!

She was very careful, made us feel safe and secure that she was doing the right thing. We didn't feel any pain, she explained absolutely everything she was doing. She was very gentle. I have always been able to get appointments on a timely basis. The practice is modern, efficient and carries out a wide range of procedures including cosmetic dentistry. Dr Mitul is an excellent clinician and his work ranges from fillings and crowns to certain types of endodontics. I recently saw Monica, the dental hygienist, and she was thorough and painstaking and explained in detail how I should care for my dental health. Easily 5 stars for this lively North London practice.

As someone who has an immense fear of dentists or indeed having any dental work done. I was immediately made to feel very comfortable as my anxieties and fears were discussed with the Dr. He took the time to listen to my concerns and devised a treatment plan that aligned with my vision and requirements. Fantastic experience: Dr. Nathan has been my dentist for the last several years. He has installed four crowns over the years, and I must say they are very high-quality work - better than other crowns that were installed by other dentists. My gums are much healthier around the teeth and crowns that Dr. Nathan treated, which means they were installed with high precision, with no cracks or anything. I'm also very grateful to Dr. Nathan for encouraging me to use interdental brushes regularly - my gums became much healthier and stopped bleeding after about a month of using those brushes, and I've been using them ever since. Also, Dr. Nathan is very sensible in terms of what needs to be treated. He didn't try to push any unnecessary treatments on me. I'm very happy with Dr Nathan and recommended him to my wife and my friends.

Both Dr Sami Alam who helped instantly relieve my pain as well as Dr Shilen Patel who carried out the extractions were very reassuring and ensured they communicated everything clearly, both prior and during the procedures as well as taking the time to do thorough follow-ups even on weekends. Positive experience: Nathan, dentist, very good, great, really nice and doesn't try to persuade you to have unnecessary expensive procedures. Jennifer, hygienist, very thorough. BUT twice now I've arrived on time for appointments I made, only to find they'd been put back by 15 minutes without me being notified, let alone consulted. Also their (I assume automatic) system overdoes the reminders, which is really irritating when you've made the appointment and put it in your diary. Also too many requests to complete long-winded online forms relating to health. Why can't they just ask if anything's changed since previous visit? Treatment-wise great. Admin less so!
