Fantastic experience: Excellent service, got seen rapidly and had treatment done same day for 4 amalgam replacements, very professional with SMART protocol, all equipment used professionally. Then came back to get old fillings replaced. Again got an appointment on late notice and had 4 fillings done. Very fast efficient and professional. All my questions was answered in depth and we was looked after completely by Dr Abeer Shehadeh excellent work all through out

Fantastic experience: I had one of the best treatment today , Dr Nickil Dhokia explained and showed everything what treatment I need with photos and x-ray , as well as how much it will cost. I had almost no pain at all even when he was putting niddle to nam my mouth /chick . After the treatment also he showed that how my teeth look and I was well happy with the job. So all I can say is that he is the best doctor I had in London and for future I won’t go anywhere else . I am happy with job and price . Also I would like to mention that the Nurse Tina was great and she done her job perfect , when she was assisting doctor Nickil there was no delay etc. and finally receptionist Emily who welcome me warmly as I enter the building and guide me perfectly until my treatment so Thank you very much again and see you soon for future treatment. Fantastic experience: I have been a customer with Smile Cliniq for about three years. I really hated my teeth, I had crowded lower teeth and significant gum recession and bone loss. Thanks to fixed braces from Francesca and bioclear treatment from Sarita I am now about a million times happier with my smile. The expertise, support (and in the case of Francesca a great deal of patience!) shown by both doctors has been amazing. Also the dental assistants and receptionists at both Finchley and St John's Wood are all completely lovely. Thank you all.

Negative experience: I recently visited a dental clinic for a gum examination, where I was required to pay a £90 deposit. After reading some concerning reviews, I felt apprehensive about proceeding and requested a partial refund, which they refused. Subsequently, I scheduled a cleaning with Dr. Sarita, paying a £50 deposit upfront due to their strict cancellation policy. During the hygiene session, Dr. Sarita was overly aggressive, causing discomfort by scratching my gums and composite fillings. The airflow procedure was chaotic, leaving me soaked and dissatisfied. Despite this, they insisted on moving forward with the proposed treatment plan, pressuring me to sign forms and pay additional deposits. Overall, my experience with this clinic was extremely negative. The dental assistant was unprofessional, and the staff seemed more focused on financial gain than patient care. I regret choosing this clinic and cannot understand the positive reviews they’ve received. I strongly advise others to avoid this practice.

Negative experience: Booked appointed cancelled over 24hours before. Was told I couldn’t have my deposit back as my finance had gone through?!?!? I’ve never had finance always paid for my treatment on site before I left in full. Was told they had to speak to management-no one on site to assist. Waiting for a call back?

Fantastic experience: I had a terrible pain in my tooth that made it difficult to eat anytime and booked an emergency appointment with Smile Cliniq at Finchley. Dr Nick and Tine were able to diagnose my problem to see a cavity deep to the nerve. They discussed options and were ready to treat with a filling to address the pain and bring relief. Nick further reviewed the rest of my teeth and gum and noticed other teeth cavities advised which he recommended treatment to avoid similar or severe damage. The team have since gently and carefully provided my needed corrections including cleaning and guards for protection. They are gentle and demonstrate professional care for the best oral health. They are willing to answer all questions and provide great counsel to their patients.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency 2 weeks ago late at night as I broke one of my front teeth. A good friend of mine suggested me to book an emergency appointment on line at Smile cliniq and to check in which branch Dr Krishen Shah will be. I booked the appointment very easily for the next morning. Dr Krishen Shah was just AMAZING. He was very understanding, careful and perfectionist! I couldn't believe the amazing result. I am very happy that I finally found the right doctor.

The attention to infection prevention and control was very evident with all staff adhering to good practices . The receptionist was polite , professional and knowledgeable. All my details and X-ray’s which I had forward on were available for the specialist. Dr Evdokia Chasioti assessment and care was delivered with professionalism, knowledge and high quality . She greeted me with respect and attentiveness which relaxed and gave me confidence. I highly recommend this practice .

As someone who has never had braces, I felt it was too late and way too expensive to now have them in adulthood, I took the plunge and signed up. Not just for cosmetic reason, but dental health. I was told I needed a route canal by a previous dentist after a crown was fitted, I was having all sorts of issues. Came to see Dr. Krishen Shah for a second opinion as he has a master degree in route canal - he did his magic, all my issues were resolved and did not need a route canal. He has a very honest and ethical profession - I would highly recommend him - he is the best dentist I have come across. Thank you Dr. Shah.

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible customer experience. This dental practice completely disregards what the customer actually needs. They seem more interested in creating extra appointments just to justify unnecessary fees. It's clear they prioritize profit over genuine service. I felt like they were guessing at what needed to be done instead of providing clear, professional advice. Avoid at all costs if you value your time and money.

Negative experience: I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the Invisalign treatment I have received at this clinic, for which I have paid over £4,400. Unfortunately, the entire experience has left me feeling both frustrated and misled. Despite being 13 months into the treatment, it remains ongoing, and due to what I can only describe as sheer incompetence, my progress has actually regressed by several months. Throughout these 13 months, I have endured a series of setbacks, including frequent cancellations and disorganization. Of these 13 months, only 9 were spent wearing aligners, with the remaining time wasted due to the dentist's sudden holidays, personal issues, or apparent inconvenience in scheduling appointments. I was dismayed to learn that, as the dentist’s last client at this clinic, I often found myself at the mercy of his shifting priorities, as he was more focused on setting up his own practice elsewhere. What exacerbates my frustration is the fact that appointment cancellations were often communicated to me on the very day of the scheduled appointment, indicating a complete lack of foresight and organization on the clinic’s part. During the initial consultation last summer, I was advised to opt for the most expensive treatment due to the substantial work my teeth required. However, after the first set of aligners, the dentist inexplicably suggested halting the treatment, despite my teeth still needing significant alignment. I insisted on continuing, only to later discover—through contacting the main centre—that the dentist had already ceased working at this clinic and I was his last client. It became clear that his eagerness to conclude my treatment prematurely was driven by his desire to move on to his new practice in Essex. After completing the first set of refinement aligners, I was still dissatisfied with an overbite issue and noticeable asymmetry in my teeth. The dentist, however, attempted to dissuade me from ordering another set of refinement aligners, despite the fact that I had been assured during the initial consultation that multiple refinements would be necessary. To my dismay, after removing all attachments, he informed me that the intraoral scanning machine was broken and proceeded to use outdated dental impression materials. His careless handling of this process resulted in the scan being rejected by Invisalign, a fact I was again only informed of on the day of the appointment, which was subsequently cancelled. As a result, I have now spent two weeks without aligners, leading to a regression in the alignment of my teeth. Thankfully, my dentist has since changed, and a new scan has been taken. However, I am now facing an additional three-week wait for the new aligners to arrive, meaning I will have gone five weeks without wearing the correct aligners, undoing months of prior work. This entire experience has been deeply disappointing, and I feel that the treatment I have received is far below the standard one should expect after making such a significant financial investment.

Fantastic experience: Please read...especially if you have a dentist phobia...as i did !. The minute you walk in and are greeted by Sylvia , the lovely receptionist..you feel a little more at ease..and then when you have your consultation with Krishnan , i promise you , your fears will be alleviated. And when you meet Alice and Flavio, you realise you are in great hands. The team at smile are super professional ( Krishnan saved my teeth ) but they are also wonderful at putting clients at ease. The only problem you will have is trying not to laugh at Krishnans and Alice's banter while you are in the chair ! For years i was terrified of dentists ( and my teeth have suffered). Thanks to the team , my fears are no more, and my teeth are fabulous !

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Krishen Shah. He was very friendly and professional on meeting. He did a very good neat job on my tooth. I chipped the front of my front tooth and there was a very noticeable gap on my tooth. He put a piece in there which was the same shade as the rest of my teeth and he worked on it to fit and fix it in the gap. I am very pleased with what he had done and will have long wear of it on my tooth and my tooth looks back to normal. I am super pleased with my tooth now. From the start of my treatment, she helped ease my dental anxiety, - anxiety going back three decades. She explained everything clearly and involved me every step of the way. Advised greatly on what I should do in terms of keeping them healthy. Krishen is super outgoing and friendly; can be super blunt and straightforward as he truly cares about his patients. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t be happier with the result. If anyone is not happy with their smile I couldn’t recommend Dr Franceska any more. I firstly went to her as I had problems with grinding and was not happy with my smile and bite. She has fixed everything. People are asking me at work if I’ve got fake teeth because how good they look! 10/10 service.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kristen Shah is a perfectionist at his work and I’m so grateful for the time he took with my case, which was rather complicated. He removed some bonding I’d had done by another dentist and redid it, and it looks so much better. Thank you Dr Shah! I feel much more confident with my smile now. Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience at Smile Cliniq. My son had had some initial treatment in another country before we moved for a needed (but not completed) root canal but the experience was very traumatic and painful for him. Fortunately that was not the experience we had here with dentist Kristen Shaw and his dental assistant. He had no pain throughout and they were very gentle and reassuring throughout the entire procedure despite his fear because of his previous bad experience elsewhere. They even put on some Netflix for him while it was happening that helped to distract him from what was happening. I knew we were in good hands when he managed to keep him calm and took X-rays to make sure it was completed correctly. The tooth look beautiful also! Like it never happened. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: If I could, I'd give 10 stars to Sarah Bux! She is the best dentist ever! My children were terrified to go to the dentist! They used to have endless meltdowns before every single appointment and most of the times the dentist couldn't even effectively treat them. After we switched to Sarah they keep asking me when we are going back to the dentist and each treatment is tearless and stressless which makes the treatement go smoothly. Fantastic experience: I am so pleased that I picked up the 'phone and booked my first appointment with Smile Cliniq in Finchley many weeks ago. Dr Sarita and her team of dental nurses have been absolutely magnificent. Dr Sarita gave me the very finest dental care and treatment. I no longer have any of the excruciating tooth ache that was troubling me, and my overall dental health is the best it's been for many years. All the staff I met at Smile Cliniq were helpful, professional and supportive. Dr Sarita, in particular, is an extremely knowledgeable and talented dentist. I recommend Smile Cliniq very highly.

Fantastic experience: I have only been going to Dr. Sarita Kotecha for a couple of years since the retirement of my previous dentist of over 30 years but I am delighted to have found her. Sarita is conscientious and careful, light fingered and gentle and she is helpful in her explanations. I would recommend her without any reservations.

Fantastic experience: This review is for Sarah and Magda Sarah saved my son molars, I went in 4 different privat clinics ,they all advised me to put him under anesthetic, and have all his back molars out. She did amaizing job under local anesthetic and saved his back molars. He was only 4 years old, ucl doctor was surprised ,and said to me this is excellent job and he wanted to know who did it. You helped us in very difficult time I trusted her for my wisdom tooths extraction and everything went perfect .

Positive experience: The teeth cleansing was fine. Admin was terrible: I booked an appointment and was told it was £95. They then called the day before the appointment and asked to move it as the hygienist had covid, and I obliged. They then called me again on the day of my appointment asking if I could come 45 minutes later than agreed. They then charged me £110 on the basis that prices had increased.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Krishen Shah did my dentures fitting. He was excellent kind courteous and explaining the procedure. It took time but eventually we got there with success through his perseverance. I have finished the treatment. I will certainly miss his smile and welcome.

Negative experience: I have been to many dentists due to moving many times and the fact that I could not find someone I can trust and feel I am in good hands. Went for a checkup and advise on some yellowing due to pregnancy. I was given many options, all very costly and mostly based on cosmetic appearances - commented something as "not as bad as I thought". The dentist and his nurse were not on the same page, the nurse was asking me to do move somewhere or do something, the dentist was saying the opposite - they seemed like they were meeting for the first time. He was quite frustrated and looked at her in a way that made me feel awkward. I could not do the wisdom tooth extraction with a team made of people who don't work good together. I then asked for my x-rays and I kindly asked for a referral to a maxilofacial surgeon so that I can try to have the extraction done with my health insurance. They took a few days to send the x-rays and the dentist said he cannot do a referral - I had it done at my old NHS dentist instead for free! 150£ circa was not enough money for a referral I imagine.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Dr Krishen Shah highly enough if you’re looking to have your teeth straightened. I was unsure about having this sort of treatment done by a dentist rather than an orthodontist but wanted quicker results than 2+ years. I did my research and booked in to see Dr Krishen Shah. I was offered the option of Invasalign or fixed braces and went for the latter. A few months later and what an amazing job! The result is fantastic thanks to Krishen’s meticulous attention to detail, skill and experience. No short cuts. And healthy teeth and gums are never compromised. Thank you Krishen and Smile Cliniq for my smile!

Fantastic experience: I went to Smile Cliniq for the Pinhole Technique gum surgery. Dr Evdokia Chasioti did this procedure, and it was a very easy and successful process. The surgery itself was painless and fairly quick. The first week after surgery was much easier than I thought it would be, thankfully no pain. The rest of the healing process went very smoothly. I am very happy to have had this surgery done and am so pleased with the results :)

I saw Dr Krishen for an examination as a new patient, and with his expertise and professional knowledge, he suggested the right treatment for me which I am about to proceed with, which I know will be life changing and make such a huge difference to my confidence. I also saw Dr Sarita for facial aesthetics, and I am overwhelmed by the fantastic results!! Sarita and Krishen are genuine, caring individuals and I’m so happy I found this place. Fantastic experience: After my own dentist butchered my back tooth with a filling it left me quite traumatised not to mention the discomfort and pain i was feeling. I took it upon myself to seek a private dentist and i'm so glad i did. Dr Aekta Mistry put me at ease and talked me through what the next step would be. On the day of the extraction (that's what i opted for) Dr Mistry took her time, was gentle even though it was a stubborn tooth and she made sure that i was ok every step of the way. Next step invisalign!

Fantastic experience: I recently underwent some gum recession treatment performed by Dr Evdokia Chasioti. I had 2 x gum graft survey and a pinhole surgery. I am very pleased with the results, the service and information received throughout the as very useful. There are many follow ups after each treatment which help track your progress. I also took advantage of the interest free finance payment option and it has helped me pay off the plan in a way that suits me. I cannot recommend this surgery anymore. Once i am fully healed i’ll be taking advantage of the rejuvenation and orthodontic services too.

Fantastic experience: I just had my wisdom teeth taken out, I was nervous before but Sarah and Magda made me feel at ease. I was impressed by how quick and relatively painless it was, they made a very calm environment for me. I would highly recommend, it was a really good experience!

Fantastic experience: Sir/Madam I am writing with an update to my original review, and met both Dr Aekta and her nurse, but soon to be a dentist Hajar. Once again, beyond superb. The service was absolutely first class, being so professional , polite, considerate to ones needs and finally they listened to me which so many dentists do not. I cannot recommend highly enough, and for me will not be going anywhere from The Smile Cliniq and certainly the partnership of Dr Aekta and Hajar. An experience and a level of service I had expected, but certainly never received in the past from my previous dentist hence why I left and thankfully have no regrets to date. Whilst writing I must also bring to your attention the wonderful help, advice and support received from Meena when making contact in the first instance, they do say "first impressions do count".
