Fantastic experience: A heartfelt thank you to Dr Chia and Tahera for their exceptional professionalism and care over the past 15 months. Several dentists in Hong Kong and Italy declined to take on my case, citing its complexity and associated risks. From the outset, Dr Chia was refreshingly transparent about what to expect, including the potential imperfections post-treatment due to certain limitations. Every option was clearly explained to me throughout the process, and it was truly reassuring to be able to discuss and make informed decisions in a collaborative manner. A special mention to Tas and her team for running the practice so efficiently whilst creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a boutique hotel. Best of all, they respond to emails rather than relying solely on phone calls, a rare and much-appreciated touch by those who are perpetually stuck in meetings!

I lost my aligners, and the entire UltraSmile team, from the lovely receptionists to Dr. Hussain herself, were so understanding and incredibly helpful and offered to help me like nobody else could. They gave me a quick appointment, fixed the issue right away, and even provided new aligners for free! On top of that, my treatment included six new extra aligner trays because Dr. Hussain wanted everything to be perfect. They are very reliable, always got quick responses from them via the phone, text and emails, and they always offer checkups and genuinely care about their patients - I’ve built such a great connection with them. Fantastic experience: I am not in the habit of writing a review unless I receive excellent customer/patient service or to express disappointment. I feel that hygienist/dentist Joanna Landais deserves a 5* review as she was professional, friendly and most importantly took good care of me when I explained that I am normally a bit anxious when I sit on the dentist chair. Although starting with a different clinician at the beginning of the process and moving to someone new mid way through, the process has been efficient and enjoyable at every step of the way. The team have been friendly and flexible to changing appointments throughout the process and have offered advice and guidance when asked. I was assigned to Peter Das The treatment took 15months due to the amount of correction required to straighten and close the gaps in my teeth. All done now and I am very happy with the results. Peter was very informative and helpful right from the start till the end of the treatment. cannot recommend him enough

Negative experience: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the Invisalign treatment I received from Dr. Thang Nghiem at Ultrasmile. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating, and I regret both the time and money spent on this treatment. When I initially came in for a consultation, my teeth were already in good condition—I only needed minor adjustments. However, rather than receiving proper advice, I feel I was quickly sold into the treatment without being fully informed. The treatment lasted around two months, during which I saw little to no improvement. After completing the treatment and moving to retainers, my teeth have now reverted back to their original state, if not worse. When I returned to Dr. Thang, he seemed surprised by the results, but offered no real solution. I was merely told to wait six months and then potentially pay for further treatment, which I find unacceptable. This entire process has been a complete waste of my time and money. Not only did I not achieve the desired results, but my teeth now look worse than before. I am deeply disappointed and feel that I was misled from the start. I expected a good result, but this has been a disheartening and regretful experience. I hope this matter is taken seriously, as it has caused me unnecessary stress and frustration.

Fantastic experience: I had both required and cosmetic services almost 15 YEARS ago at this clinic!! Every dentist I have seen since then comments on their beautiful work (my veneer and crown). After 15 years and no longer living in the UK, I am searching for a clinic that will be as good as Ultra Smile....it's proving tough to find....considering travelling back to the UK just to see them!

Positive experience: Perfect Invisalign treatment until the very end. I have nothing to fault regarding the majority of the treatment. The whole team is great and Thang (principal dentist) is fantastic at what he does. They made everything very easy and by the end of the adjustments I was more than happy with my teeth. Unfortunately, some of this was then undone. When you finish the Invisalign trays you are offered a permanent retainer, a wire, which is fixed behind your teeth (costing approximately £450 on top of the Invisalign fee). This is in addition to the removable retainer, which is included in the Invisalign treatment price (I received three sets of retainers). When I asked Thang if I needed the fixed retainer, he told me that it is for people who will not wear their removable retainer enough, and that my teeth would not move so long as I wore the removable retainer for the next 6 months. Fast forward a couple of months and, despite wearing my removable retainer for over 21 hours every single day, some of my teeth had started to move. This was of course very disappointing, so I decided to go back and ask for the fixed retainer before my teeth moved back any further. The problem with that is, by adding a fixed retainer, you also need new removable retainers, to accommodate the wire. This meant that the total treatment cost would actually be close to £700, not £450, and that would include just ONE removable retainer. Suffice it to say I feel rather cheated - spend even more money or face the entire treatment being a waste. I'm not sure why Thang advised me not to get the fixed retainer, but I would have got them at the time had I been informed correctly. I would still recommend using UltraSmile for your Invisalign treatment but go into it with the knowledge that you will likely need a fixed retainer, for life, at an extra cost (this was not discussed a single time during my entire treatment process, until being offered to me there and then at my final appointment).

Fantastic experience: I have not long finished many months of work to give me a New smile. I had hoped & dreamed that i could acheive this but in my heart i thought this was never going to happen & only a pipe dream . I did nervously approach Ultrasmile , unsure if they could even help me, at 58 i am an older patient for a new smile which led to my doubt. I had no confidence anymore, didnt want to talk to anyone , socialise & never smiled . I first spoke to Faye on the phone as a first nervous step & then met her for an initial consultation. She was wonderful , full of positivity & filled me with hope - possibly this first meeting was the main reason i got the courage to go ahead. I had saved for this dream a long time so it meant a lot All the pricing and details of treatment were fully explained at this meeting & i was given a full breakdown of all that needed to be done . As well as this you are consulted too to make sure that this is exactly the result you want to achieve & given choices too . I left feeling like this is actaully going to happen at last. Without any doubt, Ultrasmile as a centre & of course the absolute Genius of Dr Thang come wholeheartedly recommended by me Not only do i feel 100% more confident but all my friends & family notice the complete change in me too. I have lost count of how many appointments i had as the work needed was extensive, but at NO point did i feel any pain whatsoever. When Dr Thang is working in your mouth he is just so gentle you hardly know he is doing this most amazing & intricate of work , he has my greatest respect for his expertise. The whole enviroment is just so friendly & calming. During my time at Ultrasmile i have had many different nurses helping Dr Thang with my treatment, and even though i do apologise for not knowing their names, every single one of then had a smile for me & treated me kindly & with respect & i cant thank them ALL enough. Taz on reception is such a credit to Ultrasmile, she has such a big smile for you everytime you comes in , & always offers kindness & reassurance but at the same time being very proffesional with any help or advice you need. There are several receptionist that work different days & i wanted to thank them all too .I am SO sorry i dont know their names but every single one of them was so kind to me ,they treat you like they know you and always seemed pleased to see you which is a lovely welcome. Positive experience: I went with UltraSmile for Invisalign and everyone was helpful and friendly. Had my first scan done in July 22. However, my Invisalign was not tracking at some point so had my 2nd scan done and was only told by then there will still be a gap between the upper and lower teeth. Also this has resulted some gum recession.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely unparalleled advanced Cosmetic, Aesthetic & General Dentistry; not forgetting the incredible Hygienist Joanna and the awesome Front of House Team who are the complete opposite of the feared 'dental receptionist' that we have become used to, they will tell you what they CAN do and work with you to fit your appointments into your busy schedule and are genuinely happy to see us, their patients, and make us feel at home and help in any way they can, and trust me, I am speaking from experience. Did you know that a proper dental hygiene regularly done will not only 'clean' your teeth, but also potentially prolong your life, in that left untreated, plaque build up can affect your general body health in many ways as well as stopping gum recession which leads to tooth loss; as two of my friends whose teeth were saved by UltraSmile* would agree. Pricing is so competitive, plus you can guarantee that you will be valued, listened to and treated with kindness and decency and told of your options and their predicted outcome, which is quite a lottery in the NHS these days sadly; whose charges are not much less than at UltraSmile*. I wonder how many people have actually realised this? I have been a patient here since 2011 and by moving my teeth to where they would have been had a very keen dentist not removed 8 healthy teeth when I was 11, completely reshaped my root and bone 'scaffolding', which changed the shape of my face and took 10 years off me. After that Dr Nghiem performed an excellent and very difficult Implant (due to bone loss, so always good to get an implant ASAP as I had to have two bone grafts first!) and nearly a full set of restorations (veneers, cerecs and crowns-I am a child of the 60's ;-)) which are still as good as the day they were fitted. This has quite simply changed my life. The myriad benefits of 'cosmetic' dentistry are vastly underplayed, and I would recommend anyone to go along for a consultation which is free; you will be given a treatment plan estimation which you can take away and go and do your research, no hard sell to go ahead there is no need, as excellent dentistry starts with patients being given time to reflect and plan - very useful if you are considering going abroad so you can factor in the real cost forecast of flights and accommodation, etc.. In conclusion, UltraSmile* are an important and unique force in British Dentistry, they are a small family business, no faceless chains, and staff and patients are loyal and long term. What better investment in your health can you make? Do your research and you can thank me later :-)

Fantastic experience: It was an unforgettable experience to work with Dr Thang and his colleagues. They were very organized and considerate, always listening to and adapting to my needs even though they were really busy sometimes. I began my Invisalign treatment from 2022 Sep to 2023 Sep, and am happy with the result. Dr Thang is one of the elite professionals in the orthodontics industry since the 1990s. I like his attitude of doing things in particular, i.e, he only did the part that was absolutely necessary for the patient, with a focused and proper approach. If you want to straighten your teeth or improve the smile, they are the reliable hands to work with. One thing to remember: you need a high self-discipline too to achieve the goal.

Negative experience: AVOID for INVISALIGN…….This is the worst dentist I have ever been to. You do not care about your patients all you care about is taking the money. You messed up my teeth and now I have to go to another dentist to fix your mess. They messed up my Invisalign and asked me to pay extra to fix it what a joke! Your customer service is bizarre you only treat people nicely if they are famous or influencer the rest means nothing to you. AVOID this clinic at all cost, also their waiting times are ridiculous, no hygiene or manners … overall worst experience of my life save your money and time and go elsewhere

I had my Invisalign at your clinic and I am reminded of how amazing you are every time I smile in the mirror Prior to my consultation at Ultrasmile, I had been for two other consultations in East London , both of which, I felt very pressured into buying packages and although I stated what I originally wanted , both places seemed to dismiss what I was saying , and insisted I needed to purchase what was offered ( of course I left and never went back) when I approached Ultrasmile , straight away I was greeted with a friendly smile and felt comfortable , I had my consultation and I felt I was given honest information, they listened to what I wanted and were very helpful. The staff broke down and explained everything to me very clearly and answered all my questions with ease which made me feel they were genuine and supportive of what treatment I wanted . From my first initial appointment the staff were absolutely amazing !!! All are very informative, they know their stuff and are all so friendly and kind!! I felt relaxed and comfy throughout ! I loved my straightening journey here at Ultrasmile and i am stopped regularly and complimented on how nice my teeth are ! I am very very happy and feel so much more confident ..Thank you so much!

Negative experience: I had booked an appointment for my partner on the phone 1 week ago after filling in an online consultation for invisalign. He went today and was told there was no appointment booked and that there shouldve been a deposit paid which I was never told about on the phone and no one asked me to pay. It has completely wasted an evening of his time going to the clinic and being turned away. Awful service.

Fantastic experience: Omg where do I start!! From front of house being so kind, welcoming, first day coming here I was offered tea. The start of my treatment to the end I can not explain how happy I am, no other practice can compare to this. Didn’t think it would be possible to close my front gap. I can’t stop smiling. A big thank you Faye it was because of her I decided to go through with treatment, Hamera and her nurse Kelsey put me at ease, made my treatment so smooth. Every aspect from front of house to my first appointment with JOANNA LANDAIS to have my teeth cleaned has been nothing short of PERFECT! But I must leave an extra special review for HAMERA HUSSAIN who recently extracted two of my very impacted wisdom teeth. Although I am absolutely petrified of needles Hamera and her team made me feel so at ease. Hamera extracted the teeth very quickly & with super efficiency! I had very important information explained with precision I knew exactly what to expect during & after the procedure. I would call mine THE PERFECT EXTRACTION !!! Fantastic experience: I could not be happier with my new smile from Ultrasmile - especially Dr Hamera Hussain and Tas. I had Invisalign followed by crowns over the front teeth and I literally cannot fault the experience I’ve had here over the last two years - they were so accommodating with my difficult working hours, always available whenever you needed to contact them, the most comfortable experience, zero pain or discomfort and always a positive, happy vibe at the practice. Dr Hussain is an artist - my teeth look perfect, they’re straight, perfectly sized, white and most importantly don’t look fake at all. I’ve received so many compliments and my confidence has increased a hundred fold. Thank you so much to everyone.

Negative experience: Thank you for your response however yes that was my issue - after my 6 month treatment "fin ished", I received 3 retainers that i was supposed to wear for 6 months each after my treatment "finished" and as you advised below, that retainers are needed for life. If i had known this or was explicitly told this at the beginning then I wouldn't have proceeded with Invisalign as I didn't want to wear retainers for life so have just wasted nearly 3 grand on "fixing my teeth" and they're already no longer straighter after couple months because i'm not going to wear retainers for rest of my life. My emails from you at the beginning said I needed was Invisalign Lite which would be wearing retainers for up to 6 months - it never said on that email that the treatment would be for 6 months but then would have to wear retainers for life which was the issue as if i was told that, I never would have continued and would have saved 3 grand and 6 months. staff were always amazing and very friendly (dentists and front-of-house). my only issue was with the invisalign itself. all the promotional material and emails etc kept saying invisalign will be up to 3 or 6 months but what they don't say in the promotional and initial emails is that you HAVE to wear retainers for 18 months after you have "finished" your treatment so what is initially advertise as 3-6 month treatment is actually a 2 year treatment. When you proceed, the terms and conditions do say it is advised to wear retainers afterwards but no where is it mentioned you have to wear them for 18 months afterwards otherwise teeth will revert back after couple weeks so I've wasted 4 months and nearly £3,000 - again, if you're happy to wear retainers for 2 years then I can't recommend this practice enough as everyone there is great but i think the promotional emails etc need to be changed so it is isn't advertised as a 3-6 month treatment as that's a lie

Positive experience: Review for hygienist + check up (since 2021) - Prices: In line / marginally higher than other private practices but no "surprise extras" (have to pay upfront but have not had any issues getting full refund when cancelling with notice) - Hygienist: Done with two staff, are friendly and professional and on top of dental history - Dentist: check-up is also good with friendly professional staff (although would monitor when last X-ray was done as can be missed) - Reception: Friendly although VERY hard to reach on the phone. Really should not be waiting for 20-minutes with no staff for days where practice is closed but not noted anywhere (website or google page)!

Fantastic experience: I’ll be honest and say that I am really late to this review as my final appointment was a couple months ago. But I am constantly reminded by the quality of service delivered by the team when I look in the mirror. I was pleased with my consultation and appreciated the detail of it. The focus was consistent, the front of house team were very professional, and Dr Maha, brilliant, and that’s not to forget the other Dentists/hygienists whom I also saw. But I initially struggled to find a good dentist for my Invisalign treatment for various reasons, but I settled here. Yes, my overall treatment was a tad pricey, but take a look at the multitude of reviews and compare it to the competition, it speaks for itself so it’s worth it honestly.

Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend this practice enough, I went for the full Invisalign and I’m incredibly happy with the results. I needed an extraction before the work started and Dr Hussain did this, it was quite a large tooth and the procedure was painless, total contrast to previous work at other dentists I have had done. Every interaction with the reception team, Dr Hussain and the dental nurses has been 5 star, every step explained clearly (and cheerfully). I've been visiting them for the last 1.5 years for my treatment and overall it's been a positive experience. Fantastic experience: Just had my wisdom tooth extracted here by the wonderful Dr Hamera Hussain. The procedure could not have gone better! The anaesthesia felt like a tickle, and when she was done with it, she asked to test if I was numb. As I was bracing my self for the pain, she took the tooth out! I didn’t even have time to react and the tooth was pulled. It literally took less than a minute for her to get it out. The wound bled a little after that, and healed without bruising. After that, it didn’t swell or cause me any trouble at all. Of course Dr Hussain’s post op instructions were very helpful and I think that might have made the recovery so smooth. Would recommend Dr Hamera Hussain for any extractions, she is so good at it! I’m sure to go to her if I need to any more wisdoms removed. Thank you Dr Hussain

Fantastic experience: I completed my Invisalign treatment with Ultrasmile following the closure of my previous providers. I went through all sorts of stress as my original providers had closed down and I was stuck with the same retainers for months due to the COVID pandemic lockdown. I found Ultrasmile online and since then everything has been smooth sailing. They were so helpful and speedy, they reviewed my situation, provided me with a brilliant price to continue my treatment (considering I had lost so much with my original providers shutting down) and got me back on track in no time.
