However, very disappointed now. I wrote the above when it was NHS but my dentist is now going private which leaves me without a NHS dentist. Ok if you have money but the majority of us do not. Very disappointed, hence the three stars above

Negative experience: Work done wasn’t quite as good as what I’ve been used to as from the usual hygienist and quite a shock when I came to pay to find it had gone up another £8 making it a massive £95 for less than half hour work and then for the receptionist to say if you want to book another appointment you have to pay £30 deposit to which unfortunately I hadn’t budgeted for so couldn’t book a future appointment

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Friendly and accommodating reception, which follows through into the surgery. I had a check up and two fillings. Everything was explained to me clearly before and after the dental work, as we the options available to me for future work. I don't enjoy going to the dentist but I was made to feel comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: They have cancelled multiple times WEEKS in advance due to emergencies, I get there finally and the receptionist was miserably, I went in for 30 seconds told I should get implants and paid £27 for the privilege, I’ll be looking around unfortunately this is the only practice with NHS spaces left :(

Fantastic experience: Appointment today went ok, getting prepared for tooth moulding, Charmi performed the procedure, looking good, still work to do, but as usual they do a good job.

Fantastic experience: Having had a few incidents of pain in a tooth that has a large filling I felt I should get it checked. Charmi was very thorough and reassuring regarding the health of the tooth and filling. Prescribed a paste to be applied to that tooth otherwise no action required. I have vomplete confidence in her diagnosis.

Negative experience: Hygienist Brilliant But does she get paid the £95 for 20 minutes work? When I booked this appointment 8 months ago it was £80, is this increase allowed without being informed? At my last check up the dentist did not look at my teeth, just an x-ray. Been coming for about 20 years, since Rodericks took it over they don’t care about your teeth, just your money.

Positive experience: Just had seen the hygienist at Wootton Dental Centre and very happy with the quality of the work. I am very concerned at the cost which was £95. This used to be £50 a little while ago and I think this amount is way too much for 30 minutes. It was suggested I rebook for 6months but I have rebooked for 9 months. Why is it so expensive?

Negative experience: It is impossible to get to the dentist, even in emergency cases. My cheek is swollen. The receptionist offered only one time, which did not suit me, there are no places in the afternoon and evening, you can’t make an appointment the next day. No specifics. She rude way said " When you have time then call." This service only works on their side, so come when they have time. Everyone has children, work and other concerns that you cannot always put off even in an emergency. Dental practice should allow people to choose the time of the visit, even in emergency cases.

Absolutely excellent - very many thanks to Jodi in particular, her assistant and your gentle receptionist. Was concerned about a just-broken, wedged-in chunk of tooth, fearing biting down might lead to it smashing another one. Was invited to come immediately. Minimal wait, then asked to go in. Jodi said it was actually a dislodged filling, done recently, and would be fixed under guarantee! I left a previous dentist because I suspected being over-charged, over-treated and that the treatment was actually introducing more problems medium-term. Jodi's expertise and integrity, and the general approach of the Wooton team, have, in total contrast, been utterly exemplary. Again, thank you all.
