Fantastic experience: We needed an emergency appointment for our son. Booked in for the following day, arrived at 8:30am and had to wait about an hour to be seen due to other pre-arranged appointments which was fine. The dentist saw our son and was very friendly, helpful and reassuring - we had mentioned that our son had two extremely bad experiences with dentists in the past, including one where the pain relief wasn't effective and he felt everything. Obviously this made him particularly nervous, but the dentist at Oakridge really put him at ease. The pain relief was allowed to take proper affect, as the dentist allowed us to wait about 10-15 minutes for it to 'kick-in' and then the tooth that needed to be removed came straight out without any issue. We would certainly highly recommend Oakridge Dental Care, and my son will now be signing up with them to be his regular dentist.

Negative experience: I came to ask for toilet as there is no toilet in the are, qas refused I explained that I'm pregnant and need to use, still was refused. There is no place sometimes to go to when u need. ASDA no toilet nowhere in the are I could go. Sad very sad. They should do more even paid shalets for people to be able to use toilet if they need.

I am overjoyed to have finally found a practice where I feel relaxed and (very importantly) can afford the fees. From reception to dental work I had an extremely positive experience! Positive experience: I’m giving the dental practicee a 3 because there were hidden charges which was not discussed or explained well to me. I also wanted a sick note but I was denied one. I also asked for an email to be sent to me stating the procedure o had done but I was told by the receptionist that the dentist was busy all day and that they will see what they can do.

Fantastic experience: Like many people I have a fear of dentist. A few months ago I finally plucked up the courage to book an appointment. I was lucky enough to have my appointment with Oliver quinn. Today was my 3rd visit. Whilst my fear of dentists is still there Oliver calming manner really helps to put me at ease, so much so I am now seriously considering joining the dental plan. From the moment I walked through the door and was greeted by the friendly receptionist to leaving I felt completely in control of my appointment.

Fantastic experience: I am very grateful to the staff at Oakridge for seeing me through what was a difficult experience. I suffer from panic attacks and during my tooth extraction had a panic attack. Staff where all amazing and Angela was so patient and understanding which has encouraged me to become a returning patient after years of avoiding the dentist. I would highly recommend to anyone who suffers a fear of the dentist to go here.

Positive experience: Professional friendly service only downside Treatment was not as transparent as was not provided a treatment plan/estimate for both myself and son.

Negative experience: Hit with a £35 fee for my first examination even though I've signed up to and I'm paying for the dental plan! £35+££12 registration and suddenly the dental plan is not so competitive. If your charging let your customers know please. Can't comment on dentist as my experience is quick check up pay £35 done.

Fantastic experience: I'm a very nervous patient but have been going to Oakridge recently having several problems filling, gum infection and new plate. The team are fantastic Hayley on reception has been so friendly and understanding Dr Taran Mundi is the best dentist I have ever been to so patient and put me at ease can't praise him enough and also Kavita. I was initially seen as an emergency on the same day I rang and decided to join one of the plans which gives discount on treatments which are very reasonable. Outstanding practice with wonderful caring staff.

Negative experience: Not good experience with receptionist- initial wrong treatment plan. No explain well. Did not know that they will charge you if you cancel your appointment. But Good dentist. Would not go back again.

Fantastic experience: Pleasant experience. Had a bad experience with a hygienist at another practice many years ago which led to me not visiting a dentist for many years. In the lead up to my appointment I was feeling quite apprehensive and nearly cancelled it. But shouldn’t have worried. I received a very professional treatment. With constant check ins to reassure me and ensure I was ok throughout my procedure. Great service. No concerns regarding returning for future treatments.

Fantastic experience: Went in for removal of a small wisdom tooth at he back of my upper jaw which had been troubling me for several months. Dinesh put me at ease and extracted the tooth in less than 10 seconds, after numbing with local analgesic. My concern about this tooth proved to be correct : a background headache, poor saliva production were improved significantly with what seems to be improved taste. I went back to work directly afterwards and my colleagues were slightly annoyed that I had broken the myth that having a wisdom tooth out 'buys' you a week off work...

It's not the nearest dentist to me, but there is a big car park, and you can pop into Asda for sweets after your appointment. (I'm joking)!

During my appointment with the dentist he took time to listen to all of my background health issues. He was very good at giving me clear information in a way that I didn’t feel anxious at all about what has to be done. I had searched lots of dentist looking for costings for treatments and was pleasantly surprised at the price of treatments and plans on offer. I am a very happy customer.

I came in as an emergency, called Monday 9am, was seen at 10, ,”by 10:30 I was taking my first antibiotic. So patient with me and understanding of my fear, I won’t be a regular due to my phobia but I know where to come when it gets too much for me again that’s for sure Thank you everyone at Oakridge you’re amazing
