Negative experience: I had two fillings at this clinic, one filling was fine but after the treatment the tooth next to my second filling felt as though there was a crack in it. I booked in for a follow up treatment with the same dentist who treated me but the morning of the appointment the clinic rang me to tell me this dentist is no longer available so my appointment would be with a different dentist. I went to the appointment and the dentist told me there was a crack in the tooth next to the filling I had, I stated that I could feel this hole after I had the filling done but he said oh no it must be something I ate and then offered me the prices I would have to pay for a new treatment - I felt this crack in my tooth right after I had the filling done I am very disappointed with the service and treatment I received.
Negative experience: Dentist refusing to check my 2 year old son’ teeth. Last week we attended an 8:05 appointment to be told by the receptionist that their system has the appointment an hour later despite seeing that our appointment was booked at 8:05. They booked us for 8:00 am this week and despite asking for a dentist with skills and competency to deal with kids with communication delay, the dentist refused to check my son’s teeth as he could not tolerate being completely flat following instructions and he got distressed and started kicking. I asked to check his mouth while sitting in my lap watching a video settled and he refused and said i should bring my son back once he is older and more settled. The consultation lasted a minute in total. They say they accept kids with learning problems or developmental delay and then they refuse to do their job because they expect a 2 year old to act like a smarter and wiser adult and adapt to them and not the other way around. Terrible experience!!!!

Negative experience: ⸻ This was one of the most frustrating and unacceptable dental visits I have ever experienced. I went in with a painful toothache, yet the dentist showed no real concern for my condition. Instead of treating the problem, I was pushed toward unnecessary cosmetic procedures that had nothing to do with my pain. The so-called “treatment” amounted to spraying water in my mouth, which achieved absolutely nothing. No real effort was made to help me, and I was simply referred elsewhere with the suggestion it could take three months. To make matters worse, I had to insist on a prescription for pain relief. For this worthless service, I was charged £75 and left still in pain. Outrageous and unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: I had a facial injury and chipped tooth, and was feeling very shaken. Dr Alice Stiven was kind, experienced, and made sure I was happy with the result. I got a same-day appointment, and Alisa the dental assistant was also lovely. I felt well cared for and highly recommend them!
Negative experience: Today was my very first appointment with Alice after my usual dentist maya left for maternity leave,it was the worst experience i have ever had at a medical appointment,i was spoken to with complete distain and judgement.Alice was so rude to me i almost walked out before my treatment but i had to stick it out as i needed my teeth cleaned for an upcoming special occasion,ive never been treated so aggressively,she was awful and was inflicting unnessasary pain,my mouth is in agony this evening and my gums are still bleeding,shes a very angry negative women who only wants to work on private patients but i didnt choose her the was recommended to me,i will never go and she her again.worst experince of my life. Negative experience: Unfortunately I can't recommend this place. I got two crowns fitted here and both of them have been nothing but trouble. I've had to go back a dozen times to get them adjusted and I still have pain on bite with one they had to re-fit to the tune of an additional £400. I believe I was up-sold treatment that I didn't need, which I accepted because I trusted that dentists should know what they're doing. Also the dentist cancelled many of my appointments at the last minute, some of which I was already travelling to when I got the call. This left me with temporary fillings for weeks which caused further dental problems. I won't be going here ever again, and I'll be going somewhere else to fix the problems the dentist caused.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my consultation at Marylebone House. I had been avoiding dental care for 18 months due to a poor experience at a different practice so I was honestly scared to come in. However, Alice was an incredibly professional advisor who listened to my concerns and gave me constructive advice, a cleaning to remove plaque buildup, a set of x-rays, and checking my gums for any issues in 30 mins. The cleaning was surprisingly thorough given the brevity of the appointment, and my smile is considerably cleaner than it was prior. I was highly satisfied with my care and will certainly come here again.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with Marleybone Dental Practice. I started my Invisalign treatment with them over two years ago, and while my original dentist was still at the practice, everything went smoothly. He was professional, attentive, and really cared about the results. But unfortunately, after he left the country and took six months off, the level of care and service has completely fallen apart. I finished my Invisalign treatment more than six months ago and was supposed to receive my retainer which is absolutely essential to maintain the results. Since then, I’ve visited the practice over seven times to chase it up. Each time I get the same answer: We can’t find it, or We’ll get back to you. But nobody ever does. No follow-up, no accountability, no urgency. Because I haven’t had my retainer this whole time, my teeth have started to shift back. I honestly feel like my entire Invisalign treatment was a waste of time and money. All the effort, all the progress gone, just because the retainer, one of the most important parts of the treatment, was never provided. This is not the level of service I expect from a professional dental practice. I feel completely let down. If you’re considering Invisalign here, think twice because once your dentist is gone, it seems like the care and responsibility go with them.

Negative experience: I was very unsatisfied with my visit. My Dentist did not let me know what she was going to do or what she suggested. She typed something into her Computer without letting me know what it was. After she had looked shortly into my mouth the Dentist Assistent came instantly with an X-Ray pistol and I had to protest because I had said every time that I do not wish to have unnecessary X-Rays. The Dentist said that she cannot do anything else and that I have to go private whereupon I relied that I am on Benefits and cannot go private. I have received my lower jaw denture in 2014 at the Marylebone House Dental Practice and I do not understand why I cannot get an upper jaw denture or a renewal/replacement of the lower jaw denture after 11 years.

Negative experience: The doctor's treatment is bad and she is very materialistic. I went to her to treat only one tooth, and she told me that I needed a filling. She drilled my tooth to the point of breaking and put in a temporary filling. When I asked her, she told me that it was because I didn't pay money. She told me that I needed to treat two other teeth and put in fillings, even though my other teeth are good and don't need anything. When I left the clinic, one of the fillings fell out and my tooth became empty, which caused inflammation and problems. She put in a very large filling for the other tooth, and it caused a problem with the tooth next to it, which became sensitive and hurts a lot. I don't know the reason. Now I am looking for another clinic to fix what this doctor has ruined. May God not forgive her

Negative experience: Terrible “fast food” dental clinic. The dentist Olivia Dash was fake, unhelpful, unprofessional and after so called tartar removal cleaning half of my teeth’s were left dirty and full of tartar. She spent 7 mins on doing the cleaning with me. It’s ridiculous. If u are NHS client dont even bother expecting a good behaviour and treatment from her. Instead she will try to be super nice and to promote u to go private. Just disgusting service, the dentist Olivia Dash and the clinic itself. Of course I won’t return back as she wanted to book a next appointment and will go for more professional clinic than this fast food one.

Negative experience: The dental practice spends more time collecting money from you than actually looking at your teeth. X-Ray machine did not work and there was no commitment to follow up with the result. Did not want to do a basic cleaning only wanted to charge for a later cleaning appointment. The service here has gotten progressively worse over time. I will be finding a new dentist.

Negative experience: Have been going here for checkups for a few years now. They know what they’re doing and in terms of actual dentistry I can’t complain. What I hate though is the constant and quite aggressive upselling: have you considered whitening, have you considered straightening, mouth guards… all very expensive treatments and obviously there’s commission to be made. Had exactly the same sales spiel on my last 2 checkups. My teeth are fine; no cleaning or fillings required - leave healthy teeth alone! If I wanted them straightened or whitened I would have said “yes” the first time or asked in my second visit. Unfortunately I tend to leave feeling more self conscious about my teeth than before I go in. I don’t think about them on a daily basis, but by the time they’ve finished trying to sell you whitening treatments and Invisalign, they’ve managed to make you feel like you’ve got teeth like Shrek! Am in the process of looking for a new dentist but I guess I’ll be stuck here for a while until a palace becomes available elsewhere.

Negative experience: They make you wait for over an hour regardless when your appointment is but if you’re less than 5 minutes late they don’t see you. There a fraud they keep booking appointments knowing the NHS covers the appointments and then when it comes to carrying out the work in your appointment they tell you to book another appointment. They are exploiting the NHS patients.

Positive experience: I left slightly disappointed. I was waiting 45 min for my appointment and then my slot lasted for 5min. I just went for a check up and cleaning but it was the first time I saw that the cleaning took 2 min max.
Negative experience: I wish I had never set foot there this year. I went in because a small piece of my filling came out, on 4th March the dentist that saw me took out the whole filling, damaged my tooth and now a month later I’m sat in the hospital with sepsis and swollen jaw because she damaged a nerve, had no duty of care, left me with a temporary filling for way too long and all their dentists calling in sick so they couldn’t see me. Now I’m in hospital wishing I had never bothered to fix that small piece of filling that came out. They’ve damaged me more than that filling coming out did.
Negative experience: Utterly disappointed and in pain for several weeks. This is the second time my appointment has been cancelled as I arrive at reception. They couldn’t find the issue on my last visit and this was a follow up appointment to get identify and treat the issue. I have lost confidence and leaving the practise taking my entire family to a more organised, professional and compassionate dental practice. I gave her a review as I felt sorry for her she appeared overworked and drained trying to catch up with over due appointments. Please get your priorities straight!

Negative experience: I had a very unpleasant appointment with the Dentist named Olivia. I am currently very sick and on fit note and as soon as she found out I don't work ( i booked nhs appointment) she became very rude to me and still have tried to make me pay for expensive treatment. Also she stated that i need 3 months for the bone in my front tooth to recuperate... I have never encountered such a horrible and unhuman behaviour. I was shocked.

Fantastic experience: I was pleased to see the Ms Aqsa Arif my Hygienist. Not only did she do a great work but she went far and beyond . She did not watch the clock. She did not talk much to impede on the time customers pay for. Not at all. I think if I’m not wrong I got 13 min more and for free to the point I felt uneasy about it. As to say it fairly : every work deserves a salary. To summarise : Great Hygienist ( Ms Arif ) . Great work. Happy Patient/Customer Please Ms Arif don’t go anywhere , stay in this surgery . Negative experience: This dentist office doesn’t not respect your time. I had an appointment at 6pm, got to the office 5 minutes early, and waited 30 minutes just for the dentist to come out and say 5 more minutes. I left and rescheduled. There has always been a 10-15 minute delay with appointments, but not 30 minutes. When you do see the dentist, they just treat you like a number and do not try to make you feel comfortable. The receptionists are okay and they are the most respectful ones there. The receptionist even told me to switch to a different dentist, since the one I had always runs late.

Just she gave me anoxelien. So I am not feeling well.

Positive experience: I was the first appointment on Saturday. I was made to wait for 45 minutes because of a train issue that delays my dentist. I have been patient and kind, but this company refused to give any sort of compensation or discount despite of my long wait on a weeekend. I can’t help but feel that they don’t care about patents’ time.
Negative experience: This practise needs to employ better support staff mainly the ones up in the front reception. They seem unprofessional and untrained. Many times whilst waiting for to be seen, observed the reception staff chatting and not attending the phones while the phone rings endlessly. Also in a small waiting room, reception staff wearing over powering OUD perfume is nauseating. The only saving grace here are the dentist, at least the ones I've visited. Dentist Maria and Dentist Olivia are professional and pleasant.
Positive experience: The staff are fantastic and helpful (even when you forget your wallet). However they do often run 10-15 mins late. Something to know is you will get a dedicated dentist, make sure you know who this is because if you book with the wrong dentist and they dont catch it, you will need to reschedule, which can be annoying.

Positive experience: Dental care, been with this clinic for around 9 years and I cannot complain, but customer service recently has been deteriorating. This review to my 2 recent visits in the past 6 months. Last visit arrived to an empty reception. There was a patient there already waiting to pay and leave. After 5/7min someone shows up and resolves this. Finally this lady turns to me and asked if I needed help. I gave her my name and app hour, had no reply, so I waited. I received at least 1 text message and one email asking me to show up on time. My appointment was at 6pm, and the hour passed and no one came to let me know it was delayed or why it was delayed. The person at the reception, after the initial interaction had disappeared again. I waited almost until 25min past when I finally was called in. Dental hygienist finally appeared and was apologetic. She was nice and her treatment good. I enter the room and start the procedure, at some point the assistant stops helping and starts cleaning the office. At one point while I was still sitting and the dental hygienist still working, I got bumped on my chair. No apologies were given, luckily I was not hurt w/ all those tools in my mouth. I leave and go to the reception, where another dentist or dental hygienist was behind the reception. She was nice enough to help me pay, at some point another lady shows up behind reception. I asked for an invoice, this lady barely looked at me. To conclude the medical staff has better manners and customer service than the admin staff. After receiving at least 2 reminders to be On Time I would expect the same courtesy.
Fantastic experience: Arwa is a dental nurse at this practice and I cannot express enough how amazing her service is every single time. She really looks after me every time I call or visit the practice. She is just brilliant!
Fantastic experience: Amazing work! I had 4 particularly bad fillings required after years of neglect. I was seen by Jatinder and I couldn’t recommend him more. Super efficient, professional and he ensured the entire procedure was pain free.
Negative experience: Twice in three weeks, the receptionist cancelled my appointment 20 minutes prior to it without providing a valid reason or alternate choice. Extremely dishonest attitude and selfishness towards their patient. I'm furious and not happy with the service this practice is providing.
Negative experience: Worse practice! Unprofessional staff/dentist, definitely need more training. I visited last week, Sink was out of order for patients use next to patients chair (had a little paper inside basin saying “OUT OF ORDER”) After a 5 second (hardly) he suggest that I need brace because of teeth grinding (never knew or been told last 50 years). He put some disgusting mould stuff in my mouth for measuring and shape for braces, then he ask me to clean my mouth and spit in a small plastic cup with a little sip of water. I definitely needed more water and a bigger cup/basin after that disgusting mould stuff. Last December my appointment was at same place at 12pm I waited over 45-50 minutes with my back pain to finally see a dentist. After an X-ray whilst sitting on patient chair, Computer facing my back, when I suddenly turned around to talk to dentist she was actually pretending that she is looking at my X-ray results /pictures and talking to me counting teeth… In fact she was checking one of her friends appeal (doing her personal work) between the time of my consultation. When she saw me looking at her screen, she apologised for not reading my report and pretending explaining my X-ray. When called to give feedback, Manager not available and didn’t called back.
Negative experience: Bad experience, NOT knowledgeable dentists. They have caused me serious problems. Never again, a waste of money.
Fantastic experience: Always a good experience, but the Air conditioning was broken and it was like a steam room inside. I really felt for the staff let alone myself. Not safe working conditions at all.
Fantastic experience: Maria Oflidou is a very caring, patient and attentive dentist. Everything was explained thoroughly without any rush. Highly recommended.
