Fantastic experience: This review is way overdue. I’ve been a patient for a good couple of years now, and always receive prime care. Dr Sebastian is by a mile the best dentist that I ever had. Supremely knowledgeable, innovative, thorough and professional, they deliver the best dental care.

Fantastic experience: Professional, caring and informative throughout in a way you can understand . If under confident do not be as the team go to great lengths to make a dental visit a pleasant experience. This is the best surgery I have ever been to.

Fantastic experience: Not sure where to start with this review. But quite simply with Townes and Townes i do not feel like a 'number' or a patient statistic - I genuinely feel like a friend about whom they really do care! I first went to Phil and Barbara Townes nearly four years ago when i was in terrible pain and nobody seemed to be able to find the cause. I was pretty miserable. Through the magic and care of Phil we discovered an embedded wisdom tooth down in my jaw with a cyst around it which was pushing down on my dental nerve. To cut a very long story short I have had surgery, root canals and a tooth removed - sadly the damage to the nerve caused by that cyst looks like it will be a long term thing but throughout the past four years and many many visits to Townes and Townes i have always felt like they were 'there for me' (cheesy I know but true!). And they are still trying to help me get sorted! THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: Being a nervous wreck even considering the thought of sitting in a dentist chair, didn’t give me too much scope, especially as time had passed since a bad experience 10 years prior. as time went by, the pain I was experiencing through cavities and abscess was getting ridiculous. I had to find a dentist that would appreciate and embrace my difficulties, and oh wow did I… initial consultation with Phil, extremely thorough and continually walking me through what was going on.. I needed 3 teeth extracted which made my heart skip a beat, but when I was then introduced to Barbara, Phil’s wife, she put me at ease immediately. Followed up with an appointment a week later for my first tooth extraction. Barbara was simply perfect.. caring, gentle, chatty, just amazing in every way.. I’m now actually looking forward to my next extraction, probably a crazy thing to say, but my fear has lessoned so much thanks to these guys.. thank you so so much for just being you and being amazing and understanding.

Positive experience: Great dentist, open and honest evaluation and lovely chair side manner. Hygienist and team were friendly and efficient. All members of the dental team are totally professional and keep you abreast of the state of your dental and general health where applicable. My need of antibiotics due to heart issue is a case in point.

Fantastic experience: Towns and towns of Stonehouse Glos'. Is a very fine dentist, I say this when I greatly dislike going to the dentist due to past bad experiences. They may not be the cheapest but they are the best that I have found.

All mod cons which helps the patient to understand what exactly is going on and all procedures are explained in detail. A very caring and empathetic Practice. I am disabled and every effort is made to ensure I can use a downstairs treatment room.

Fantastic experience: Townes & Townes is a lovely little practice in Stonehouse. There is parking opposite and if you are unable to get a space outside there is a large free car park just a short walk up the high street. I have been going here for about 20 years now. Phil and the team are all really friendly and make you feel welcome and put you at ease. I know many people that come here too and say exactly the same. If you are looking for a local, professional, friendly and affordable dentist look no further.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad to have finally found a dental practice that you can tell actually cares about you and your wellbeing! every visit is like a school day as they provide you with as much information as you want, they don't rush they take there time they keep checking in to see how your doing and ive never known a dentist to be so cautious with pain levels (and ive met a few), my last visit was 2 fillings in 1 go and I honestly did not feel a thing these guys are amazing and are truly helping me with my fear of the dentist that I never thought was possible! I highly recommend these guys especially if going to the dentist creates anxiety! :)

I have had a fair bit of work done on my teeth at Townes and Townes over the years. Dr Phil Towne talks me through the procedures, gives me options, is honest about outcomes, listens to me, gives good advice, and I am truly content with the dental work he has done for me. The dental surgery has a hygienist on the premises, and a good network of dental experts. For instance, I was in very good hands when I did have to go to Towne and Towne's recommended implant specialist In Bristol. All in all, I am very happy with Townes and Townes.

Fantastic experience: Phil is easily the best dentist I have ever been to. He takes the time to explain the options for treatment, cost and likely outcomes, and there is no pressure to decide in a hurry. Just had a tooth filled by a very skilled and gentle dentist, hardly felt the needle going in for the local anaestetic. Makes visiting the dentist as enjoyable as it can be - would happily recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: For a start, Philip Townes is an excellent dentist, taking both care and pride in his service to our teeth. But what I so appreciate is the time he gives each of us, carefully explaining the situation, setting out the choices and most importantly, covering the different costs related to these options, a topic that surprisingly is not often so explicitly mentioned. A shout-out to Sinéad as well, the hygienist, who uses my annual cleaning session as an opportunity to show me the areas I miss and the best techniques to use to get at these. My teeth are in so much better shape having taken on board her "lessons." Such a great team!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to the 'Townes ' Practise for many years & always feel as if I am going into a warm & friendly place! From the smiling face in reception onwards I feel cared for. Examination & treatment is always thorough & well considered with good explanations. I have never been kept waiting a significant time . This week I attended for my hygienist appointment. As usual she was thorough kind and efficient. I used to go slightly early to look at the magazines! Covid has put a temporary stop to that.

Dental checkup with Barbara was extremely thorough. Attention to detail picking up on any improvements I could make to me self caring for my teeth and mouth. Hygienist Chloe was also thorough checking all aspects of my teeth and mouth. Fantastic experience: This is an exceptional dental practice where the standards of both care, explanation and advice are of the top order. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this practice for 19 years. I cannot rate it highly enough. All staff are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Communication is very good with reminders for appointments texted. Philip Townes is my dentist. He is very knowledgable and keeps up to date with new developments. He can always explain treatment options clearly and work with me to find the best way forward. I have complex dental needs and have a 3 monthly hygienist appointment which I find invaluable for keeping my gums healthy and ultimately keeping my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Looking for a new dentist in a new town after a long time since my last dentist visit was daunting. After seeing all the positive reviews I settled on Townes and Townes…. Negative experience: I came to this dental clinic 2 years ago, when I moved from Bristol and used the hygienist's treatments here every 6 months. Yesterday, by email they have had cancelled my next hygienist appointment and kicked out of the clinic because I do my dental care in another dental practice in Bristol (for almost 9 years actually) The owner/dentist should learn to respect and care about people, not select them !

Fantastic experience: I travelled quite a distance to change dentists having had rave reviews about this Practice. Phil and his team have managed to cure me of my phobia of dentists ! I have never been to a more professional and knowledgable practice. I didn’t know the equipment they had even existed, as I had a crown made on site while I waited. I could see all the work being carried out on screen (if I wanted!) and Phil explained everything so clearly as the work was carried out. I seriously wish I could give more than 5 stars !!! Fantastic experience: Being ex-military people and having had 13 house moves in 33 years, we have had several dentists over the years and I can say that the service you get at Townes & Townes is amazing - you can’t ask for a better dental service; from the moment you walk in their front door, being greeted by Jackie with her warm smile and easy chat to put you at your ease to Phil (our dentist) with all his wonderful knowledge that he willingly imparts and Sinnead (our hygienist) she makes attending a hygiene appointment a pleasure. Their professionalism and knowledge they give you to keep you on track with your teeth is second to none. Our daughter has a severe needle phobia and trust is a huge part of a dental service (she’s 28)..she has vowed to go nowhere else and will travel back from wherever she is to attend her dental appointments. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient/client of many dentists in my time - so I know they are not all the same - either in skill-set or behaviour. Some are just simply better than others. Dr Townes is one of the good ones. He's a detail man who shows you his work on a PC monitor as it progresses. I know what clean, precise dental work looks like when I see it. Dentistry is a "High Tech" profession - so if you are able to access a master at it - then count yourself rather fortunate. Robert Paterson I'm responding to a request for a review following my visit to the dental hygienist at Townes and Townes. A Ms S. McCafrey - a meticulous lady I've been to every four months for some time now. I came late to the notion of going to a dental hygienist. I've discovered that going to the dentist alone is not enough. If you're serious about your teeth and mouth you should attend the dentist and the dental hygienist. It's not cheap - but what is these days? Either way I'm happy with the attention my mouth gets at Townes and Townes.

Fantastic experience: After losing my NHS dentist, I set about to find a new dentist. After research, I just felt this was the one for me. On ringing the surgery I was answered by Jackie and then I knew it was definitely the right decision. So lovely to be greeted in such a warm way and given all the necessary information in a clear manner. I have been treated by Philip and Sinead. I am a nervous patient but both put me at ease. Very friendly and caring approach from them. I am already recommending the Practice.

Fantastic experience: I had a hygeinist appoinment yesterday and I can recommend the hygeinist who did a through job. The dental practice asks questions about covid virus to ensure you don't arrive if you could be infected before your appointment.
