Negative experience: I'm very disappointed with the lack of professionalism from this dental practice. I have repeatedly requested the X-ray of my daughter's molar, and despite multiple follow-ups, and them saying that they have sent it and me repeatedly saying I haven’t, it still hasn't been sent. As a parent, it's incredibly frustrating not to have access to important medical records, especially when you pay the consultation and when they are needed for further care. I expect better from a healthcare provider!!

Fantastic experience: When a bad toothache hit, I was so relieved to get an emergency appointment here. As soon as I arrived, the receptionist was polite and welcoming, and Dr. Ashmai greeted me right away to check my tooth. She explained the issue and options so clearly, which gave me so much confidence. I went with her recommendation, and the extraction was quick and smooth. She combines great expertise with a friendly, caring approach, which made the whole experience so much easier. This is definitely my go-to place for all future dental care

Fantastic experience: I had a hygiene appointment with Anjali Vasudev. She was really warm and welcoming as soon as I entered. Before starting the treatment we had a detailed discussion so she could understand my specific circumstances. During the treatment she was mindful of my sensitive teeth and provided a lot of additional insight to help me understand and improve my dental health. After the treatment she summarised the key points and provided me with a list of recommend actions. Overall it was a great experience and I felt her insights added a lot of extra value on top of the treatment itself. The receptionist was also really kind and allowed me to work on a different building with better internet connection whilst I waited for my appointment.

Fantastic experience: Olive tree Dental is amazing I’ve spent many years avoiding the dentist :( I found olive tree dental on a google search and from the very first conversation I knew just how understanding and caring they were with the anxiety I have towards dentists they take the time to listen and explain you your full dental plan step by step and they don’t rush you which is hard to find in the world today. My tooth extraction today went so smoothly they took there time and sat me down after for 25 minutes to make sure I was ok before I left So I just want to thank Dr Mahesh/Grace/Ash/Sam and the whole team ❤️

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this place enough. My mother has extreme nervousness and anxiety when it comes to dentistry and all the staff here have always gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. The work performed by Anjali has been immaculate, not only in the quality of her work, but also in her support for her patients (friends. Haha!) Before you even walk into the room, you're greeted with kindness and professionalism. I haven't had the pleasure of learning the names of the nurses I have seen, that have assisted, but they do phenomenal work and deserve recognition, too. I've even witnessed the front desk staff entertaining young and bored children. Not your typical dentist at all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Olive Tree Dental is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. As a nervous patient I get very anxious about the dentist and the sensory experience that comes along with it. The staff here are so so lovely. Lidia the hygienist is calm, patient, and explains every step of the cleaning process, encouraging breaks and using very calm words. Every service I receive has been totally judgment-free and done at my own pace. Olive Tree really cares about its patients and I will be coming here for as long as possible.

My sister found them as an emergency for me 2 years ago and Anj was unbelievable, if it wasn’t for her my treatment would have gone by treated incorrectly by previous dentist and doctor. She massively helped and guided me through treatment along with calling and checking in on me as well. My nerves have gone going to the dentist and I look forward to going. A routine check and hygiene visit today was effortless. Highly recommend - the whole team are professional and friendly. The practice has a lovely feel and provides such great advice but also fantastic at providing a plan moving forward. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now

From walking in the door the staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. It can be embarrassing and intimidating to visit a dentist if you haven't been for a while, but not with this practice. Their advice is thorough and and the work I have had is exceptional. I would particularly like to thank my dentist Dr Angali who is so passionate, devoted and meticulous about her work and Grace who is such a lovely lady and so very knowledgeable, helpful and empathetic. Negative experience: UPDATE: Thanks for your reply Nivert, however that’s not what I was told at the time of cancellation so please get it right, and I sounded my frustration to your colleague on the second cancellation which you haven’t addressed (nor the hassle with the deposit) If that particular person didn’t provide a feedback to you or failed to address it then and there, then you can’t expect customers going the extra mile providing you a direct feedback. I left this review because this is what I think of your service. Thank you for your offer but I kindly decline. ——— Maybe it was a one off issue, Booked a hygienist appointment, they took £60 deposit, all good. Then a day later, they called me that I need to pay a deposit... Already paid. I asked for an appointment specifically at either the start or end of the day. They called me a few days before, that if possible can I come in another day as the hygienist has big gaps in the schedule. Sure it wasn't urgent, so we rebooked for a week away. Then a few days before they called me again, that there is a clash in the diary of the hygienist, so i need to come in an hour later or something, which doesn't sound that bad, but I specifically asked for first or last appointments. So I cancelled, and had to send bank details and stuff to get my deposit back. Very professional.

Fantastic experience: I don’t know where to start as this is such an amazing dental practise with such amazing staff. I’d like to personally thank and recognise Dr Anjali Vasudev. Not only was she the most talented dentist I’ve ever been to but she was also one of the most kind, relatable and helpful people ever!! I wanted to get my teeth whitened via enlighten teeth whitening which is offered at this dental practise (which is absolutely amazing may I add), however in order for me to do this I needed to get around 3 fillings done first along with a hygienist airflow cleanup. Anjali promptly explained everything in which I needed to get done and walked me through everything step by step. I was quite nervous to get fillings done as the whole process is quite daunting sometimes however that was an exception after getting treated by Anjali! Funnily enough her enthusiasm actually made me look foward to getting the fillings done and she made this whole whitening process so exciting and enjoyable for me. A month later all the fillings are done along with a B1 shade☺️. I was in no doubt I was going to reach my desired results as from the moment I sat in her chair I knew I was in the best of hands. I am so happy with my results and Can’t thank Anjali and the rest of the staff here enough. The receptionists were always so organised with booking appointments and were always efficient and concise about everything else! As it goes into 2025 I’m grateful to have found my go - to dentist for the foreseeable future . Can’t recommend this practise enough. 10/10. I will be returning for any future treatments I need/ enlighten whitening top ups. Thank you all for making my experience so Great!!!

I've been with Olive Tree Dental for just over a year now, after not being registered to a dentist for years. I was enquiring to a few dentists in the local area and couldn't be happier that I decided to go with Olive Tree! From the very first discovery call I felt valued and informed of all options available to me. Having not been to the dentist for a number of years, I wasn't sure what to expect, however Ash and the team put me at ease straight away - to the point where I look forward to going to the dentist now! Big shoutout to Ash, Grace, Sam, Lottie, Sammie and the wider team that i've had treatment from. I had Invisalign through Olive Tree and the whole process was a breeze and great value. It's completely transformed my smile and I'm so happy with the results. Cannot recommend Olive Tree enough.

The antibiotics stabilised the ache in Greg's tooth and he was able to endure the 23 hour flight quite comfortably. Fantastic experience: A Transformative Dental Experience – Like a Spa for Your Teeth! I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Ashmai at this exceptional dental clinic, and I can confidently say it was the best dental experience of my life! Over the course of four visits, I had four fillings done, each appointment lasting between an hour to an hour and a half, and believe it or not—I felt no pain throughout the entire process. In fact, I actually fell asleep during two of the treatments, something I never imagined could happen at the dentist. From the moment I walked into the clinic, I was greeted by an inviting, peaceful environment. The ceiling was designed to make you feel as if you’re in a park, creating a calming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Dr. Ashmai's professionalism and care were second to none. She started each session by applying Vaseline to my lips to keep them from drying out, which was such a thoughtful touch. She then used a numbing gel before administering the anesthetic injection, making the process entirely painless. Even after the numbing wore off, I felt absolutely no discomfort—an incredible surprise for all four treatments. I was initially shocked by how smooth the first session went, but the exact same care and pain-free experience happened in the following three appointments. This consistency completely changed my perception of going to the dentist. The staff here are true professionals who genuinely care about your comfort and wellbeing. If you’re looking for quality dental care at very reasonable prices, I highly recommend this clinic. My whole family and friends are now patients here after hearing about my experience. Fantastic experience: Ash saw me for the 1st time Jan 2024, to deal with a double abscess - I cannot fault her at all, dealt with the whole painful situation calmly & efficiently- ensuring to talk me through stage by stage knowing I was afraid of dentists. I was so impressed with the kindness shown & the professionalism shown - that I am now a regular patient, and would never use any other dental practice. Outstanding facilities and kind, helpful staff throughout, nothing is a problem for any of them, very accommodating. 5 ⭐️

Negative experience: Horrendous customer service and I refuse to continue using such an unprofessional practice, twice I have had appointments where I have turned up only to have a 1 hour wait in the first instance to then have to reschedule as I do also have a life too (but gave the benefit of my doubt, silly me) but then to turn up for a scheduled appointment to find the once a month surgeon had left for the day, totally unacceptable service considering how much they charge in fees. Now re-registered back to a NHS dentist, as I never had such poor service as Olive Tree Dentist, learnt my lesson, private isn't necessarily better!

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming reception staff and a lovely clam atmosphere in the waiting room. My first vist was with Ash. She was calming and very thorough, providing clear explanations. My second vist was with the Hygienists Mica. Again very kind, calming approach, which help my nervousness. The treatment and after care was explained in detail. All staff are friendly, kind and professional. Would highly recommend The Olive Tree Practice.

Prior to the appointment, the receptionist answered any questions I had about the treatment, and responded quickly over email/phone. Negative experience: Personal experience: I've been recommended treatment which was not actually necessary with the reason that the practice is taking a more preventative approach. I think such recommendations are actually to make money off of people. In my case, I was recommended a retreatment of a root canal which was giving me no grief (no pain, discomfort or sensitivity). Upon seeking a second objective and impartial opinion from another Dentist in Reading, they advised me that this retreatment didn't have to be done. Best course of action was to monitor the tooth in the long term. I've had the root canal and crown done on this tooth more than 10 years ago with absolutely no issues or pain in all this time. The second Dentist was right. There is also a separate matter of a filling done poorly in my opinion (I have pain now when chewing solid food on that side) which will also need to be investigated by another Dentist. Note: Olive Tree Dental Practice Manager has reached out to me and I've informed them of all these things. I'm leaving this review to voice my complete disappointment in this practice and the fact that I've unnecessarily spent money, and will still have to spend more money at another practice, to sort out the work they've carried out or started to.

Fantastic experience: This is my second visit to Olive Dental and as an anxious patient, I really appreciate that the staff have made me feel so comfortable. Mica was fantastic all round, from making me feel relaxed and comfortable to being so thorough with my overall treatment. The whole procedure from LA administration to my overall deep cleaning was done flawlessly by Mica where I experienced no discomfort or pain. Thank you Mica and team for looking after me so well and all your hard work.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is super friendly, professional and go above and beyond. Perhaps the best experience I have ever had when it comes to dentistry. My routine check-ups are always thorough with full explanation given along the way as well as tips and advice to ensure my teeth stay healthy. In the past having a hygiene appointment was really quite unpleasant for me. Having both sensitive teeth and receding gums the whole process was rather painful - not at Olive Tree. The air flow technology means a hygiene appointment is pretty much pain and discomfort free. I have never had a pleasant hygiene appointment until I joined Olive Tree. At Olive Tree Dental, you are treated as an individual - not just another mouth and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Taking your Mother to the dentist when she is 92 and scared is no easy task. From the 1st point of contact over the phone to our visit , Olive Tree practice are just all round fabulous. So caring and friendly, totally professional. They went to great lengths to check Mums medical history , made her feel very much at ease. Tooth was extracted and advice given. Mum was impressed and pleased with her treatment so much in so we are planning next visit for denture work to make her more comfortable. 10 out of 10 for sure.

Mica, the hygienist, and Grace, the dental nurse, were both very professional and had a positive attitude which created a welcoming atmosphere that put me at ease. Positive experience: Don't be put off by the 4 not 5 stars; I never give 5 stars (as always space to improve). That said Olive Tree are always looking at ways to do this and I am always amazed by the latest technology they are using. The whole team are super friendly and whilst I might only visit a couple of times a year, Ash always seem to remember me and what is going on in my life. This week I had several treatments at the same time, so had prepared myself for a couple of hours in the chair. This required injections and for me to not talk 'which those that know me, is near impossible'. I must say though I left feeling I had spent a couple of hours with friends - we laughed, learnt some fun facts and realised I am a charades champion :) Olive Tree doesn't just do dental in the 'old fashioned' way - fillings, braces, extractions. They do so much more - don't take my word for it, go and check out the website and any question the team will be really happy to answer.

Negative experience: My Invisalign and whitening treatment at olive tree was nothing short of a gruelling disaster. To start with, I needed an extraction that on the first attempt, failed to remove the tooth and left me with a chipped tooth that plagued me for 3 weeks and damaged my tongue before eventually being removed by a specialist. A good majority of appointments are late. Appointments were also moved with little notice and as a result my treatment was delayed. There was also an issue where my scans were not sent off so as I came to collect my new set of retainers, I was told they was not there. Once treatment began, you require regular scans. These scans were not scheduled a head of time enough and it often meant that when it came round to the date your scan was due, there were no appointments available. All of these issues meant I spent a total of 7 weeks with ‘old’ retainers in. I also had a tooth fracture. Teeth that were meant to move had no room and a tooth fractured. This was later resolved by filing more off the tooth to give space. This again caused a delay in treatment as well as pain. During the regular scans, appointments took longer than they should have and the reason for this was put down to ‘bad internet’. A small issue, but annoying when it’s every appointment. I eventually showed my discontent and on a future appointment I was described as ‘not a morning person’… At the end of my treatment I had moulds of my teeth given back to me because ‘the dentist struggles to get rid of them’ so they made it my job to do so. I also felt like I was miss sold Enlighten Teeth whitening. I paid the full price for the teeth whitening and was told when I came to pick up the product that I didn’t need teeth whitening retainer and could instead use my Invisalign retainer which was fine. So I received just the 3 whitening syringes and one (should’ve been 2) tooth paste. However, I paid full price for this (£549) and if I had known/was advised, I could’ve simply bought the syringes separately and on their own for £225. I effectively paid over £300 extra for a whitening retainer I didn’t need or receive. All in all, an unpleasant & unorganised experience through out. Glad it’s over. Will be carrying future treatments elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great dental practice. Lovely dentist’s who are sympathetic, give you actual treatment options rather than demanding you have things done. Their dental plan works great, and helps you stay in control of the costs. I’m quite a nervous patient and they are always understanding and take their time with you. They actually get to know you and treat you like a person. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: The equipment is very professional and the staff is kind. I gave it a three star because even though I expressed my desire to not put a crown now and have the tooth shape remain as it was, as much as possible, the dentist tending to it still shaped it as if ready for a crown. This left a very large space between it and the next tooth, which makes it difficult to eat and painful when I have to floss. Pretty bad work done there, and a lack of consideration in this regard, so I will not be coming back again.

Fantastic experience: My husband went there this morning for an emergency appointment. Wow, I could not be more impressed. We called extremely late in the evening and was helped to book an appointment for the next morning. The staff on site were so nice! Helpful, friendly, efficient and did an incredible job with the tooth extraction. It was a quick process and always accommodated his needs and preferences. It was just above and beyond. Fantastic experience: Clinic and equipment was all clean and up to the standard. Staff was really nice. I got the treatment from Dr Anjali. Had my initial check up with her then I was being recommended for Hygiene and airflow. She explained me everything very well and answered all my questions. Airflow treatment was one of the smooth cleaning treatment I ever had, I didn't even realize any pain(even no scratch). Very good experience with clinic and dentist Will go again

I'm not the easiest patient to deal with while in the chair but Ash is fantastic with me and very patient and calming. As a nervous dental patient I was very scared to get my root canal done but the endodontics dentist Alia was very patient and kept explaining to me what was going to happen before she did anything. They are a lovely team and a very welcoming and friendly. A special shout-out to my dentist Anjali, dental nurse Hayley and Someyeah, and the receptionist Rebecca for helping me slowly get over my fear of the dentist.
