Fantastic experience: I came here because I needed a root canal, and my regular NHS dentist refused to do it. I have TMJ and she felt it would be too difficult. The male dentist I saw (wish I could remember his name - I think it is maybe Rob?) was amazing! I get a bit nervous about dental visits, partly as they usually cause me pain due to my jaw issues. I was put at ease from the beginning (they ask you in your initial survey if you have any anxiety about it, which is nice). He couldn't have been more reassuring, and took my jaw issues into account. They used a prop, which made it easier to keep my mouth open during the work. He asked regularly if I was ok, or wanted a break at all. He communicated everything he was doing really well. I ended up also having a deep filling and cap done there (NHS dentist wouldn't cap the root canal as she said it wasn't necessary... 3 weeks later part of the tooth broke off!!) This work was also very professional. I am really happy with the dental work itself too. Of course with it being a private dental practice, it is pricey, but that is par for the course. If you can afford it, I feel like it is worthwhile. Katie on reception is an absolute gem - she got me in quickly when I was in a lot of pain and is a pleasure to chat to every time I have been! Couldn't recommend more!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but praise for Chris Tan. She is unfailingly professional, makes me feel relaxed ( even when faced with an injection!)..and has a lovely, warm personality. She is skilled in her craft, keeps me informed and seems genuinely interested in me as a person, not just being polite to a client. As far as is possible, given fillings, injections and other horrors associated with dealing with my aged teeth, appointments with Chris are actually enjoyable.!

Fantastic experience: I would like to express gratitude to Leeds Wellness Aesthetics Dental & Implant Care, administration manager Laura Marsden and especially to Dr Perminder Badhan for excellent service they provided together to my child's treatment with Invisaling! It was a very professional, tailored and flexible approach in both medical services for a teenager, flexible time arrangements to accomodate school and other oblications, and payment options. Dr Perminder Badhan is a truly professinal doctor passionate about her work, sensitive to patient's needs and personality; very good with a shy teenager. I should add that the reception and nurses are very polite, attentive and respond calls and emails quite fast. I totally recommend Dr Permider, and Leeds Welness Aethetics if you hose to treat your child or yourself.

Dr. Shubam truly understood my struggle and kindly rearranged his schedule to support me. Fantastic experience: I had my crown done last week at Leeds Wellness. It was done so well. Shubham did my crown preparation and fit in the same day. He showed him the machine that mills the crowns and the process of staining, glazing and firing the crown. The experience was great. I was really nervous and Shubham put me at ease. Fantastic experience: I recently visited Far Headingly Dental Care for a dental check-up and teeth whitening session with Dr. Chris Tan. I was overal very pleased with the experience. Everyone in the team from the receptionist to the dentist was very friendly. Chris was very reassuring during my dental check up. She was very meticulous with her work and I felt in very good hands. The teeth whitening procedure was great, she took time to explain the process in detail and addressed all my existing concerns. The process was really quick and just required just 2 appointments. The procedure itself was very effective, and I noticed my teeth to be a few shades brighter. Fantastic experience: Good experience with FHDC. They usually have appointments and are flexible if you can no longer attend, and if you are running late. Their insurance or 'dental plan' option is very handy, especially as private dental fees can be a bit eye wateringly expensive.

I was dreading the dentist and the experience was absolutely fine, I felt very comfortable and the dentist (Ben) remembered I’d told him I worked in travel from a previous appointment which was a nice personal touch. Fantastic experience: Very experienced dentists fair price. Also do emergency dental work if required at short notice at certain times of the day. Also very experienced with children. They work on keeping your teeth in good condition rather than unnecessary work.

Negative experience: Really hard to book an appointment here as phone calls, voicemails and emails often go unanswered. We also often get a different dentist/hygienist (usually locum hygienist) each time, as there appears to have been a consistently high turnover of staff over the last 5 years. After trying to book a check-up appointment (by both phone AND email) for myself and two children for over a month, I finally got a call today to book the appointments, but to also tell me that I need to pay today for both children's appointments (previously free with an adult appointment.) No notice whatsoever was given to the increases and I suspect that this is why my communication went cold over a month ago, despite some initial response by email only; Gemma did mention on a phone call today (to claim that the practice had sent me further emails regarding my appointments) that the decision to increase prices was taken months ago, just not communicated. For us, this is likely to be the final straw, as other private practices nearby seem to be much better value for money (40% less for an adult check-up!) Please also be aware that positive reviews here have been incentivised in the past with the promise of £5 credit at the practice, so take with a pinch of salt.

All staff (reception to dentist) are very polite, nice and great at making you feel at ease. Dr Chris Tan has spent time explaining her thinking and decision making and always given me all the options, prices and her professional opinion in advance so that I could make an informed choice. She was honest about the likelihood of success of the treatment and I felt in good hands throughout my last two sessions. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I had an examination, scale and polish of my teeth which was very successful .The post - pandemic staining of my teeth ( because of reduction of services during the height of that period ) has now completely gone and I'm very pleased with the result !

Positive experience: Overall, it has been a good experience. The only reason why I do not score 5 stars is because the initial period of time I had to wear the alignments was around 4 months, however, it has actually taken around 9 months. I have not doubt that this time was absolutely necessary in order to reach the great results I have reached. Both the receptionists and Chris, my dentist, have been professionally impeccable. I would definitely recommend the Far Headingley Dental Care clinic to anyone in need of any dental work.

Fantastic experience: Love the dentists here. All staff are nice and helpful too. You have to sign up to a dental plan which is £22 a month to begin with, but it was worth it for me because there were years long waiting lists on the NHS.

Fantastic experience: I have been with FHDC for several years now and have been very happy with them. My latest visit was to replace a many decade's old crown and Chris Beech did an expert job in removing this and replacing it with a temporary one. Unfortunately, when the new crown was inserted Chris saw that it was not up to standard, so I now have another temporary one and are hoping that all will be well when I return next.

Fantastic experience: As a grown man I had avoided the dentists for thirty years due to an acute phobia of them. I avoided smiling, and was very guarded when speaking to people due the condition in my mouth. Eventually after discussions with FHDC I attended. I can only thank Laura (Dentist) Gemma (Manager) Fauzia and Jag (Dental Nurses) for their understanding of my fear and embarrassment. The care, friendliness, and calm they showed whilst always professional was beyond anything I expected. I just want to say a heartfelt thank you for what you did for me. Its made me a more confident person when around people. Thank you.

Negative experience: I have been with this dental practice for over thirty years I have now been asked to re register as I have not attended for over two years. During this time there has been a pandemic and I have not needed a dentist I don’t see the point of a dentist if not needed, I now have to pay £80 to re register fair enough but to have to pay £21 per month compulsory is outrageous I have dental insurance and want to visit the dentist when I want not pay for a service I may not need.There is no refund if not used this dentist would then be making money for nothing clever plan.

Fantastic experience: Advancing years and neglect meant that my teeth were in a sorry state.Fortuitously I visited Far Headingley Dental Care and have been delighted with the result. I had 12 extractions in four visits and am now the happy owner of new dentures which become easier to manage every day. The initial consultation was very thorough but I was totally put at ease by Chris. I then went in for root canal which I was extremely nervous for, but the entire procedure was completely pain free and comfortable from beginning to end. Fantastic experience: For years I just avoided the dentist after struggling to find an nhs dentist that I liked/felt comfortable with and so decided to try private as an adult. I found this one and thought I’ll try it and see how I feel. My first check up made me feel so much better about going to the dentist that I knew I’d found one to suit me. They actually had the time to discuss problems and areas I was missing during brushing. I also required 2 fillings since covid began and I was impressed by how organised they were when they reopened. I used to be very anxious about the dentist, to the point where I just wouldn’t go anymore and have had panic attacks in the chair in the past. Since registering with far headingley I’ve been going regularly and feel so much better about it. For someone who used to be as anxious as me about dentists, having 2 fillings done without any problems has been fantastic and I’m very grateful. The first filling I had went so well and was completely pain free (I don’t know what numbing gel they use but it’s magic) and I didn’t feel any pain from injections. Because I’d had such a great experience with my first filling, I felt a lot more confident about getting the 2nd one done. In fact after the last filling I had on the 15/3 I left feeling happy and positive with the whole procedure being a comfortable experience. If you are worried or anxious about the dentist this is the place for you! You really do get what you pay for and with this dentist it’s worth every penny just for the quality of care you receive. Finally all staff are welcoming, friendly and easy to talk to and my dentist is very professional/trustworthy. You really do feel like they genuinely want to help you look after your teeth in the long term which is great. Thankyou!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this surgery for many years and I have always been happy they are all professional but also friendly which I think is so important. Then I broke a tooth during lockdown! Awful, but this practice had been working hard behind the scenes and were ready to go the first they could. I have had to visit them a number of times in the last few weeks and each time it has been a pleasure, waiting in the carpark, temperature checks, sanitizer, full PPE when required but still with a smile. I am so pleased this is my dentist.

Negative experience: Icon white treatment ineffective and expensive. Staff disorganised and rude, dentists consistently significantly late for appointments. Was told to pay for an extra check up as my previous dentist left (not my fault), queried this and receptionist Rebecca never bothered calling me back. Money grabbing, unfriendly service.
