Negative experience: I had a appointment with your dental practice for 11.30 pm on Saturday night I got there before that because I had a swelling on the bottom left of my gum line I got there by Uber all the way from Romford the dentist saw the swelling and said it wasn't a abscess because it was hard tissue I told her it was she took x-ray and said nothing showed I had an infection sometimes it doesn't show I also had slight swelling inside wall of my gums on the same side .I told her to do a small prick to see if puss comes out she again refused and said that the procedure isn't done there all dentist do drain it I had to get a cab back and have been laying on my chair with salt water in my mouth I'm not happy with the service I got it's disgusting

Negative experience: My experience with this place was actually a month ago. I just thought I’d look the place up now and I saw the reviews about their emergency service, so I thought I’d leave a review as well now a month later. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that many people are complaining about their emergency dentist visits. This should be investigated especially if there are multiple complaints against someone. We phoned 111 and they referred us here. Everything was fine at the reception, the receptionist was very kind and patient (no reason why he shouldn’t be to be honest). And then we got called. The dentist had a passive aggressive behaviour. My mum doesn’t understand English too well and has hearing problems so the dentist had to repeat her words or I had to explain to my mum. The dentist didn’t handle it well to say the least, she was impatient but not only that, had a passive aggressive attitude as I said. Her tone was aggressive, “look this way” and “bring your head here.” She was impolite and struggled to have some basic respect (among many other values, behaviours, or attitudes). Of course, I remained calm while bearing witness to this all. This isn’t how someone just is, this is intentional behaviour directed. Now why, I am not sure, but she lacked control. After witnessing all of that, I remained quiet and I just explained to my mum, or translated, what the dentist demanded/commanded of her (should be “asked of her” usually but not in this case as I have explained above). Anyways, she was about to begin the extraction of my mum’s tooth, and she did begin. The woman lacked professionalism quite obviously. Her tone and behaviour were inappropriate and would be in any setting, especially clinical. She is a healthcare “professional” and should have self control and be understanding to the needs of individuals. My mum was clearly a vulnerable person who walks with a frame, I’m sure she saw that. My account would be justified as a formal complaint to the clinic, NHS, or the general dental council, I’m pretty sure. That’s not where it ends though. So she began the extraction procedure. She paused for a bit and I simply, in a respectful and polite manner, raised a concern. I asked “can you please be careful not to damage the surrounding teeth” and she completely just disregarded my concern and disrespected me and got angry. Instead of reassuring and understanding, being professional, she couldn’t control her ego and replied back with “are you joking.” We had a little back and forth. A very rude lady and not professional at all. I should have reported this then, but now I can see it’s not a coincidence or a one off incident, many people have complained about the 111 service. I understand people could be tired or whatever, they could be going through difficulties etc., not an excuse. Especially for someone in her position. Her tone and behaviour were inappropriate. Hope she understands how that could make someone feel, especially a son witnessing that behaviour towards their mother. I’m sure if it was someone else there, perhaps another “son” or even my own sister, they wouldn’t have remained as calm as I did, watching and hearing the disrespect. Most likely she would have been “humbled.” She should genuinely try being better and more understanding, and calm.

Fantastic experience: Doctor I had the appointment today with was very clear. Conducted a thorough examination of my teeth and gums. Came due to gum recession issues and general check. He very clearly explained the main issues and suggested a clear action plan. I didn't have to wait much to get called in and was very pleased with my experience with this appointment. Unlike some other clinics I've been to there was an honest interest in making sure I understood the different issues and that I was happy with the next steps, and not just been thrown lots of terminology I wouldn't understand numbers on how much it would cost. Would recommend it 100%.

Fantastic experience: Excellent Service and Honest Pricing I had a very positive experience at this dental surgery. The doctor was straightforward, professional, and extremely helpful. I was only charged £27 for a tooth extraction, which was done efficiently and with great care. Before coming here, I had visited several other dentists and now realise I was overcharged. One clinic, in particular, charged me £27 just for a consultation and then quoted an additional £75 for the extraction the following day. At the time, I didn’t argue because I was in severe pain. This dental surgery stands out for its transparency, affordability, and genuine care for patients. Highly recommended – both the clinic and the dentist are excellent.

Fantastic experience: I came in after being referred by nhs 111 and the dentist and dental nurse were amazing! I was a little shaken up hearing the word root canal but they were amazing they told me what they were doing as they did it and made sure i was comfortable the whole time!

Negative experience: I have been suffering from a root canal procedure since December 2024 I have been given antibiotics over the last 5 weeks. I called 111 and was reffered here as I finished my last course of antibiotics two days ago and my face has swallon again. With hope I came to this Dentist was asked to pay the £26 NHS fee upfront and was seen by a dentist that literally repeated back to me I have to wait to be seen by the NHS lol! No guidance at all! I told the dentist I think a bit of the file broke off when the the root canal was done as I felt a nasty pain when it happened and its right near my sinus no response. So i have been sent home to continue antibiotics even though my face is completely swallon and extremely painful.

Fantastic experience: after having previously left a bad review, from service provided by a locum dentist at this practice when my daughter had an emergency. I have made a 360° If I could give this practice more stars I would. As after leaving my previous review, Dr Maggie the owner of the practice called me personally, listened to my reasons and concerns. She went above and beyond in resolving My daughter's issues and was extremely professional, informative, caring, genuine and passionate about her work and helping when and where possible. Honestly she's been amazing. I can't thank her enough.

Negative experience: UNFIT FOR PRACTICE! REPORTING MY EXPERIENCE TO GENERAL DENTAL COUNCIL AND HSE. I called 111 with a serious wisdom tooth infection and was referred to this dental surgery for an appointment at 12am. When I was called in I was met by this arrogant, rude, rushing and bossing me about like I was a piece of cattle by a woman whom i can describe with having an African accent. She orderd me to sit down, fires a hundred questions at me barely giving me time to respond due to my extreme agony. She then tells me that this is not a proper examination! What the heck am I here for then? She's shoved a piece of plastic in my mouth to take an x ray. She did it at the wrong angle so I wasn't able to bite my teeth together. She's raising her voice in an aggressive manner "bite your back teeth, bite your back teeth your not doing it properly, I told you bite your back teeth together!" Then realises im not able to because she hasn't inserted it properly! She then moves it to the correct position and im able to bite and I take an x ray. The infection from my tooth has spread to my cheek gums and tongue which is standard of a tooth infection. My tongue is red and brown like the inside of my cheek. The abses I have is the size of a golf ball my face and mouth is swollen and this woman is telling me I don't have an infection?? REFUSING to give me antibiotics! Telling me that my tongue is discoloured due to my diet? Are you freaking kidding me? What the heck is this person I'm seeing that she can't even identify a tooth infection? On top of that she's POUNDING my tooth with her apparatus asking if it hurts? Are you kidding me? You smashed my infected tooth so hard I was in agony...even if my tooth was normal with that force it would hurt! She fobbed me off with pain killers and told me to see another dentist. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING AND YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS TREATMENT ON SOMEONE ELSE AGAIN. I called 111 today and they sent me to another dentist. The dentist today cleaned my infection twice, gave me antibiotics and even offered a shot of local to ease the pain. They referred me for extraction. This is what should of happened the first time. My storm on this surgery's neglect is going to start today with formal complaints and proof with photos to all governing bodies. I could have been left with sepsis due to your neglect, disgusting, unprofessional, inhumane experience stay away.... and and on top I paid my hard earned money for this experience! Look at the photo how the heck can you turn someone away with pain killers! REVIEW UPDATE 08/01/2025: Just had a phone call from Maggie the owner! Oh wow I see where the staff get their attitude from.. they say it starts from the top and boy does she have a bad attitude. Just like the other reviews she has no care whatsoever, verbally abusing me and calling me racist because I referred to her staff as what seems to be African decent. She then sarcastically leaves me a voice mail when I hang up on her for being so rude to me saying that she will report me to the police for harassment? I am entitled to write a review! STAY AWAY from this surgery they accept no accountability for their neglect. A formal complaint has been made to the authorities. *****FURTHER UPDATE TO THIS RESPONSE**** The Maggie is a LIAR TRYING TO COVER HER TRACKS by her response.... just as the other reviews mentions. A pure disgrace to the medical industry and someone showing how dishonest her practice is. Your clinic has been caught showing negligence to more than one patient including myself, you finally have someone exposing you to the authorities and your response is to lie and try to tarnish my name? An act of desperation trying to cover your tracks. NO my review is honest, true to event and the only card left you have to try and play is the race one.....desperate and GUILTY FOR ALL TO SEE. The funny thing is I'm HALF AFRICAN! the ignorance is comical. No I will not drop how you treat your patients and no I will not stop reporting what happened to me you will be brought in front of a medical committee soon!

Fantastic experience: I was recently referred to The Mill Dental Practice by NHS 111 for urgent care due to an infection in my jaw, and I cannot praise the team highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with exceptional professionalism and care. Fadeke and Dinoo were absolutely amazing. They were compassionate, thorough, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt at ease throughout the entire process. Their expertise and attention to detail were evident, and they took the time to explain everything to me, which was incredibly reassuring during a stressful time. The level of care I received was second to none, and I left feeling confident that I was in the best hands. I am truly grateful for the outstanding service provided by Fadeke, Dinoo, and the rest of the team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Mill Dental Practice to anyone in need of dental care. Negative experience: Had a very bad experience. Called 111 for a dental emergency and was told to go here which was about a 45 min drive from where i live. I got there to find that the dentist was now stuck in traffic. 1 hour went past and the dentist was still stuck in traffic. I was with kids and by this time it was already passed their bedtime. I was then told the dentist is still stuck in traffic. My main concern is that if there is traffic why not cancel the appointments but had others waiting too. Secondly, when you put available appointments the dentist needs to be at the practice and not leaving her house 10 minutes before the first patient was due. Terrible experience!

Fantastic experience: A few days ago, an inlay I had treated in Korea fell out, so I booked an appointment with a dentist. I chose this clinic because it’s open in the evening. The dental clinic was very comfortable and pleasant. The reception staff, dentist, and hygienist were all friendly. I've only been in the UK for six months and my English isn't very good, but they made sure I could understand everything and treated me well. There was no unnecessary treatment, and they made every effort to reattach my inlay. The cost, which I was a bit worried about, was reasonable, so I’m very satisfied.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time experience in UK for getting a dental checkup done. Must say that this clinic is one of the best. I am glad i chose this clinic. It is so nice and clean. All the staff and the receptionist are so good and they treat you so well. Dr Zoe is really awesome she explains everything so well and makes sure that the patient is comfortable. Fantastic experience: Today finally after years of being seen by Dentists that have left me fearful and disappointed with my teeth and no confidence to smile, I met Dr Maggie Andi, who within 20 minutes has given me the confidence and faith that going forward my dental treatment will be absolutely the right treatment for me. Dr Maggie’s passion for dentistry with patient centred care at the heart of her delivery was evident by the empathy and understanding shown of my underlying complex health issues and how they have affected my teeth and oral health which was refreshing and really quite emotional as I had resigned myself that their really wasn’t a dentist out there that would understand or be able to help me regain my confidence. Not only does Dr Andi have a warm personality , her knowledge pride and passion for her profession is apparent once you speak with her. The practice itself is modern, with a warm, relaxing and cosy atmosphere, it is easily accessible by public transport with parking nearby. Mill Hill Dental practice and Dr Maggie is now my forever dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have just been for a routine check up and felt obligated to comment on how pleased I am with the service I recieved. Dr Harshil in particular was extremely helpful and gave me open and honest advice, would definitely recommend him!

Negative experience: Further to my previous review and the response from Dr Maggie Andi stating I had not attended her practice and there was no record of me attending. She had the bare faced cheek to point the finger at another practice with the same name in the North of England, saying I must have gone there and I should delete my review, well I will not delete my review and to clarify the matter I would not travel from North London to the North of England for an emergency dental appointment. I went to Mill Hill Dental Practice, 8 Mill Way, London NW7 3RE. It appears the record keeping at this practice are inaccurate, incorrect and incomplete – just like the treatment. My original review stands I was prescibed Fluoride 5000ppm toothpaste for toothache. Looking forward I can only hope that anyone else referred to this practice receives the decent treatment they deserve and then and only then will these reviews be few and far between. Initial review: I was unfortunate to be referred to this practice via the NHS 111 Emergency Dental Team. I was in excruciating pain and the diagnosis from the Dentist was I needed to use a Fluoride 5000ppm toothpaste!. Strangely this did not work. I was later advised by another practice that I probably needed a root canal / extraction, which I did. I have contacted this practice but I was told I should have pointed out exactly what tooth I wanted treated – apparently giving a choice of 2 where the pain was emanating from was not good enough! I needed to be more precise. The diagnosis from Mill Hill Dental Practice was incorrect and inadequate. The Dentist clearly incompetent, and the treatment non existent. A formal complaint has been made to the PHSO and logged. Definitely a practice to avoid.

Negative experience: Bad service . Had sever tooth problem .was 10 minutes late for a appointment .did not treat me made me wait for so .long then told me to see my own dentist .knowing I had a infection . And may be tooth needs taking out .nothing was done .iam in so much .very bad service

Negative experience: I had the worse experience at this Dental Practice. My appointment was for 10.00pm as it was an emergency, I received a call only a short while before that it will have to be rescheduled for 11.00pm and when I went there they told me they are having delays and my appointment came at 11.35pm. The Dentist I believe treated me like a product and although a tougher filler was needed she put on something which disappeared within 8 hours. Total waste of time and energy here. I raised a serious complaint and the money I paid was refunded with an apology. The Dental Practice did not satisfy me even after I had complained about all this. They believe that 111 was responsible for the appointment booking, that is initially correct but it was the Dental Practice that did not honour the appointment time and rang to reschedule it and even this rescheduled time was not honoured, how can they blame anyone else? When I complained all I mostly received was what I believe were excuses, they said that my behaviour was rude when I had shown utmost patience and respect to the staff. It seems this false accusation is a figment of their imagination. They refunded me not only as a gesture of goodwill but it's obvious that I had received unacceptable and inappropriate treatment which lasted about 8 hours. Total waste of time going there. They did not come back to me for a long time after my complaint and inferred that I should have known that one of the staff in question was off sick. If this assertion was true then in the interim whilst the complaint was being seen to supposedly, I should have been informed, I was not. So how was I suppose to know that the staff in question was off sick? By some telepathic means? When I complained all I received were retortions about how great they are and how few complaints they have received from clients. I would seriously urge people to look at the reviews and then judge for themselves, I am of the firm belief that my point of a poor service will be vindicated. I would have given them zero if that was possible. My belief is that if something does need complaining here, there is not point as some people go into denial mode and bring up excuses and if nothing else works, falsely accuse the complainant patient of being rude. Please see all the reviews and my personal belief is avoid this Practice under all circumstances even in an emergency and be prepared for dissatisfaction if you complain.

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency extraction and I couldn’t fault the service I received. Fantastic all the way from the receptionists treating to the wondering clinical team and the detailed information given to me on leaving. I am seriously considering changing to have this practice as my usual dentist. They are brilliant.

Negative experience: AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! If you’re paying for your treatment or getting some cosmetic changes then this might be the option but if you’re vulnerable disabled or on universal credit don’t even waste your time getting an emergency treatment because unfortunately you’ll just be looked down upon and possibly be sent away with just advise to take more painkillers. I had read all the reviews before going here ignored 1stars yet seems like either 5 star reviews are paid or are left from people who only went for private treatments. Also check the responses on negative reviews from the owner she has no constructive replies it’s just passive aggressive response which clears up the doubt on to why people have complained in the first place about dentists working there. Unfortunately it’s all about manning ££££ not treating patients in pain. To the owner I’m not looking for a policy or your explanation but please please one advise have some empathy and responsibility. Don’t be rude and disrespectful to these patients in pain and treating the vulnerable who are already struggling mentally or financially.

Fantastic experience: Emergency appointment. I cannot recommend this surgery highly enough. I was in agony on arrival due to an infected, cracked tooth. The infection was below the gum line. Rob immediately put me at ease, x-rayed and explained my options. I opted for extraction which he talked me through clearly, calmly and concisely. The process was super straightforward and any pain from the anaesthetic injections minimal. Within 20 minutes I was out the door, minus the offending tooth and completely pain free. Thank you I’m still very grateful.

Fantastic experience: Zarah was great. She made me feel calm and talked me through what she was doing. She never once told me off for not brushing well and how my gums were in a bad way. Instead she told me what I can to improve it all. My teeth haven't looked so clean in years.

Fantastic experience: The best experience I’ve had with a dentist, and that’s saying something. I had allowed a broken tooth to get so bad that I required an emergency extraction at 10 PM because the pain was debilitating. I don’t know who I saw, wasn’t really in the frame of mind for names, but I’ll tell you from the reception all the way to the chair they were all lovely. The dentist made thoroughly sure that I could feel absolutely no pain before pulling that tooth out. It came out all in one piece and I do not miss it. It was the quickest and easiest extraction I’ve ever had (I once had a dentist drill my face like it was a drywall while I begged them to stop). Fantastic experience: I have been to this dental practice twice for 2 emergency appointments referred by 111 i am always really anxious about going to the dentist , i had a root conel done to my tooth and i was at stage two in so much pain it was unbearable the manner and the professional staff was amazing and ive honestly got to say they are the best i saw the same dentist on both my appointments with 2 months apart and she was able to work with patience and guide me through each stage of what needed to be done and made sure i was feeling claim because doing anything to my tooth , they are the best im so happy with them and would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff there as i managed to get home with the minimum pain were as before i arrived there with the worse pain i could not even begin to describe, if i could give them 10 out of 10 i definitely would and plus if i was able to register with them i would but unfortunately i live out of the area they work all night long till late hours and i think they deserve a lot more then they actually get once again thank you so much to tonights team you were all very helpful and wonderful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: The dentist here was far from friendly to me unfortunately and spoke to me with the most passive aggressive tone the whole way through the procedure. Very unhappy with this , it doesn't take much to be mannerly and professional in your job. I was then so scared that i was shaking very unfair way to treat a young lady that is also expecting. Reply to Dr Maggi , They know the roles they have chosen themselves to be overnight until 2am that is definitely no excuse to bring a negative attitude to any client at their place of work. My appointment was at 8.30 , I arrived at 8.11 this was not a late arrival matter neither. I will be in touch.

Fantastic experience: The staff were very friendly, their equipment up to date and Dr Maggie was exceptional. I visited with my two sons who are Autistic, they are usually very anxious and suspicious of every move the dentist makes but with Dr Maggie's calm personality and talking them through every step, they gained her trust very quickly. They were very relaxed and cooperative which made the sessions go quickly and smoothly.

Fantastic experience: Maggie is a brilliant dentist who is excellent with young kids and makes them feel very comfortable and at ease even those who have a fear of dentist. After a tough year of being sent from our NHS dentist, to the community health center, to the hospital and back to the dentist again with nothing being done for my daughter Amelia with her cavities getting worse. We were fortunate enough to hear about Maggie from a friend. We had lost all hope and we were very concerned. So I decided to give Maggie a try and from the beginning she was simply amazing and within two weeks she had dealt with my daughter's cavities and even cured her phobia of dentist. I highly recommend her as a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Amazing skill and professionalism from dentists Reshma and Shivane not to mention wonderful nurse Amelia and the ever patient Georgia! Also Emily the hygienist and Maggie, senior dentist. I have undergone nearly 6 months of treatment including whitening, aesthetics and veneers in addition to routine dental work and my regular checks. I am so pleased with the results! It has made a huge difference to my self confidence, I am smiling all the time now and I am happy to have my photo taken instead of hiding in the background. Everyone is telling me how well I look, but they can't explain why- which is exactly what you want with aesthetics. Reshma and Shivane really listened to me and understood my ideas, concerns and expectations. They gave realistic advice and carried out all procedures with great clinical skill, competence and kindness. I knew what the treatment plan would be and understood what was happening at every stage. Fantastic experience: Don’t usually write reviews, but on this occasion I must praise the dental team for the great professionalism in the care I had received. My mum was In so much pain with her toothache, the pain was unbearable. Called the 111 line and the caller manage to get one of there dental specialist to call back, and I had explained my mum symptoms and quickly arranged an emergency appointment to the mill hill dental practice. We got there and the receptionist a polite gentleman helped us with the appointment. We were quickly seen and the dental team were superb honestly. Helped my mum and now she’s on the recovery. Excellent service 5 stars. Would recommend. Please can you pass on our kindest regards to Dr and her assistant.

Fantastic experience: Had a severe toothache which my original dentist caused. Went to MillHill Dentist as an emergency, the lady was very patient, kind, gentle and thoughtful and within half an hour I was pain free. I would fully recommend this practice.
