Negative experience: So, here goes from 5 stars to 1... The 5 stars I left 4 years ago. In the last 2 years though it has been a real struggle to actually get an appointment. I was reading through the reviews and noticed we are not the only one with the same issue. Unprofessional attitude, improper treatments causing multiple repeated emergency visits, constant dentist swap - every check up we have a new dentist, cancellation of appointments the day before or on the day of the appointment with stupid excuse and so on. If it was only me okay, but this same thing is happening with the rest of the family. Even the kids. I have send an official complained following the guidence on their own website. I have not heard back for a week although they promise to reply within 3 days. I'm planning to go higher now. No one should be allowed to treat people like this!

Negative experience: Shocking customer service. The appointments keep getting cancelled and the receptionist can't even keep the story straight. Even has the audacity to ask if I want to reschedule ANOTHER appointment.

Negative experience: This practice has a real serious problem with cancelling appointments. It’s the only dentist available to me that is accepting NHS patients. I was on waiting list from January till August, in August I finally had an appointment for them to cancel on me the day of the appointment, then they have cancelled 3 more times. I had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow and already knew what was going to happen so I called them up preemptively to ask them “do I still have my appointment or are you going to cancel on me again” I was assured that the dentist is in and will be in tomorrow and it will not be cancelled. I then got a phone call 4 hours later to tell me “the dentist is sick and unable to come in so we have to cancel your appointment” I have been told the same very obvious lie 4 times now, 4 times it is “the dentist is sick and unable to come in” It’s very clearly a lie, the nhs dentist only works Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is clearly overbooked from the amount of NHS patients they’re taking in constantly and are double booking appointments or that they just don’t care if you’re not willing to pay them to go private. Either way some weird things are going on with this practice, my dad who also goes here had them cancel on him literally ten times with his original appointment in January now being December with the same excuse of “the dentist is unwell” each time. they can’t even keep track of their own lies, either that or they don’t care. You also receive no apologies from the receptionists, they’re rude and lack any sort of kindness and sensitivity when it comes to patient care. I would suggest anyone who is experiencing similar issues of repeated cancellations with no appointments to file a complaint to the local integrated care board or ICB.

Negative experience: Worst service in the entire Manchester. How can you cancel my appointment then give me a new one and your dentist is late by 1hour plus. I had to complain before even being responded to. You call 1hour delay “A little” late. I wouldn’t recommend. Terrible service.

Negative experience: My last 4 appointments have had to be rescheduled because the dentists are not available and I still haven't actually had an appointment yet. The last time I was seen which was over a year ago. The dentist was late and they called me as I was driving to the appointment to try and reschedule. I tried calling the reception desk to reschedule only for it to keep disconnecting which makes the whole appointment thing even more frustrating. It would be nice if I could make an appointment and actually keep it.

Fantastic experience: Honestly couldn't fault anything about my visits. Spoke with Aimee over the phone and she answered all the questions I had as it was my first time with the dental team. She was really lovely and took her time with me on the phone :)

Fantastic experience: I rarely post reviews but had a thoroughly positive experience today with this dental practice. My treatment was undertaken professionally , with excellent knowledge and and very thorough throughout and I also came away with some definite learnings from the dentist and hygienist following my treatment.. I’m in my early sixties so have ‘been around the block’ with customer service in my time, however I wanted to give a positive shout to Riddhi on reception. I was greeted with a warm smiling face and was made to feel welcome despite the reception being busy when I arrived. Too often, in my experience in such a situation , you can be spoken to and treated like a number but Riddhi was a breath of fresh air and is deserving of a positive review at the very least.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today with hygienist Manal, very informative chat about keeping your teeth clean and healthy, my teeth feel great and clean now. Nurse Riddhi was very helpful, friendly and took good care of me! I am very happy with the service I have received today ☺️.

Fantastic experience: Receptionist Taylor and Amiee were nice! And dentist Marcus was nice and professional for my son’s teeth cleaning

Negative experience: The waiting time is ages they say were next in the queue and other people go in before us

Fantastic experience: Never been keen on going to the dentist. Been twice in the last six months and the dentist, Emily, has changed my mind. She has a great manner and did what was required with no fuss, explaining exactly what she was doing. A great example for other dentists to follow. Further to the above, again I've had really good service from the practice. I needed a filling and my appointment had to be rearranged at short notice by the practice, Aimee was really helpful and listened to what I had to say . A new appointment was arranged to suit me and when I attended Iman did such a good job, his attention to detail was outstanding. Thanks all.

Fantastic experience: I had such a lovely experience with Dr. Mewadah. She was incredibly thorough, gentle and genuinely caring throughout my visit. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable at every step. Her calm and professional approach really put me at ease. Katie was also great! Efficient, friendly and helped everything run smoothly. They make a great team. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was being to therapist Nafisa she was kind and gave me clear explanations of the procedures that are going to be done. I felt comfortable and in good hands during the treatment , she did my 2 fillings and cleaning as well. And nurse Regina she was very helpful as well.

Fantastic experience: Referred by 111 to this dentist surgery and couldn't be happier with the treatment I received. The receptionist Lynni was amazing, very helpful and understanding of my situation. My dentist Iman was also a pleasure to deal with, and took the time to explain the different options available to me. Fantastic experience: Had 2 visits to the therapist in the last few months and had a good experience. My first therapist Nafisa was kind and gave me clear explanations of the procedures that are going to be done. I felt comfortable and in good hands during the treatment. I second therapist was Marcus. He was very professional and dealt with my treatment very well. Nurse Khola was there for both of my treatments and she has been kind and very attentive. She went great lengths to make me feel comfortable during treatment. Reception staff were also kind and friendly. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: It's always a relief to find a dentist who is both skilled and communicative. This dentist took the time to thoroughly explain the necessary procedures based on the X-rays, making me feel informed and comfortable with the treatment plan. The positive experience extended to the front desk as well, where Kirsty's friendly and welcoming demeanor created a pleasant atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Recently registered my daughter with the practice and everybody has been really lovely. Great welcome from the reception staff and the dentist, all made us feel welcome. Riddki and Kristy on reception were really helpful, kind and efficient. Great customer service 5*. Dr Elsansi and the dental nurse were really good with my daughter on her first visit and made her feel comfortable and gave good information for dental health. Nice to attend a pleasant dentist and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had a hygienist appointment with Manal and she was brilliant. I was really worried about the outcome but she made me feel a lot better and then switched her schedule round so I could get seen a second time before going back to work. Really brilliant and really supportive, I feel a lot better going to the dentist now. Really great reception team, on both visits I spoken to by Kirsty she was brilliant!

Fantastic experience: I had the great pleasure meeting Therapist Nafisa and nurse Khola on my recent visit to the dental team. Friendly approachable and I felt at ease. I was having my teeth cleaned which I personally find very painful in certain areas. Nafisa was amazingly gentle. I will definitely be asking for her personally next time. 5*

Negative experience: Booked an appointment to check my first molar, which was partially treated here before. Instead of getting any proper advice or continuation of the treatment, they just told me I need a root canal and quoted £800! Honestly, I feel like I paid for an appointment just to be told something they could’ve mentioned over the phone. No explanation of why the original plan wasn’t followed—just straight to the expensive option. Feels more like a business than a place that cares about patients. Really disappointed!

Fantastic experience: The dental therapist Nafisa recently performed a tooth extraction for my 11 year old daughter and I couldn’t be more impressed with her care and professionalism. She was patient and her kind and gentle approach put my daughter at ease. She was supported by her nurse Khola and her presence made my daughter felt calm and comfortable throughout the process. The extraction itself was quick and smooth and they provided clear aftercare instructions to ensure a speedy recovery. I would highly recommend Nafisa and Khola to parents looking for someone skilled in working with children. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience so much easier.

Negative experience: I chipped my tooth and had a temporary filling in November 2024 with "The Dental Team". I asked the receptionist if my Medical card is valid for Dental treatment, she said yes and asked me to fill in the form. After the temporary filling she said there is no payment due and I will be charged for permanent filling in December 2024. I received a letter from NHS asking to pay £100 penalty plus the dental treatment in November 2024. Every time I visited "The Dental Team", there are new receptionists, staff and dentists. I don't find them professional plus give wrong advice. The manager, Anny, doesn't help and always blame the customers. Please don't waste your time and money with "The Dental Team", Stretford, Manchester.

Fantastic experience: I always take my son to the Dental Team for this periodic dental check-ups. Right from the first time, my son felt very comfortable with Therapist Nafisa. She and Nurse Khola are very professional, friendly, and attentive. They go above and beyond to ensure that every child feels safe and relaxed during their visit. I highly recommend their services to any parent seeking quality dental care for their little ones.

Negative experience: Went with an impacted wizdom tooth (now been confimred by another dentist) dentist lied to me and told me it’s not impacted because there is not infection or decay? Then was told wait two weeks for a referral code after 2 weeks told they don’t know what they talking about the dentist believes it to be a sinus issue

Negative experience: Used to get fantastic service but now, they constantly cancel appointments, never answer the phone and even the hygienist has changed and you now get half the service from them at double the price.

Negative experience: There is a distinct lack of customer service. I have had SIX appointments cancelled and ONE where I attended and was greeted by a note on the door stating there had been a power cut so all appointments were cancelled! So in total SEVEN cancellations since December 2023. I have had to initiate the rescheduling of appointments during this time. I feel sorry for the reception team having to deal with disgruntled patients! I have not seen the same dentist more than once. I have lost faith in the service since it has been taken over. I didn't want to be that person to leave a negative review but I feel I have been completely let down by the service.

Positive experience: Always a good experience here, no complaints. Today when booking an appointment the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The big however is the door to get in the place. It's ridiculously stiff and I was unable to understand if it was locked or not. I didn't want to barge it open. It's been like that for years. In the same way that there is a 2nd door that isn't used, they really need to invest some money into the door, the fascia of the premises and the waiting room.

Negative experience: 6 appointments in 2024. 6 appointments cancelled. My first was booked for January. We’re now in September and my appointment for today has been cancelled 10 MINUTES before the appointment time. Not the receptionists fault but not a mention of the word ‘sorry’. Poor lady in the waiting area is in agony with her teeth & has paid £300 in advance for her appointment today. They’ve tried to rebook her in for mid October. Worst company I’ve ever come across in any sector!!! DO NOT USE.

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a special thank you to Sanchi Rehan for all the great work she has done with my teath on Tuesday the 6th of August.You did a very great job of my root canal and to get rid of the awful pain from my tooth.I feel a lot better now from having this awful toothache.A very well done to all the staff at the dental team as well.

Negative experience: I was due an appointment with Dr. Mustafa Alkhaddar on Monday 29th at 10am and he failed to show up. As I arrived at the clinic, I was told by the receptionist he was not due in that day at all and as he's now left the practise his next day in would be in 2 weeks time. I'd like to express my sincere disappointment on this matter - Not only I find this extremely frustrating but also I'm yet to know when I can be seen next? I was advised by the receptionist she'd get in touch with Dr. Alkhaddar then reach out to let me know the best course of action, however 10 days have gone by and I'm yet to have a response regarding this? I'd like to point out how disappointed I am in the whole situation - I've been wearing my Invisalign for just over a year and during the course of this there's been many occasions where Dr. Alkhaddar was late for my appointments (up to 45 minutes). He expressed no apology or whatsoever and I find that extremely disrespectful and unprofessional to say the least. I have also had to re-arrange appointments in the past and trying to get hold of the practise has been a nightmare - 20 times trying to ring through on different days/times, I even emailed and would only get a response after 10 working days. Considering I have spent over 3k on my treatment, THIS IS BEYOND A JOKE!

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed going to the dentist for the first time in a long time..Dr Areej was amazing, she took her time with me to give me advice and answered all my questions. She was with nurse Khola a really nice nurse.Khola was very helpful and so cheerful.

Hygienist Nora provided excellent information and advice, making me feel comfortable and well-informed about my dental health. Overall, the team provided top-notch care, and I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of dental services.

Negative experience: SHOCKING SERVICE. UNPROFESSIONAL. I had an emergency appointment booked through the emergency dental service & I arrived (took a day off work for this appointment) and when I got there.. I was met with the most unprofessional manner I’ve ever received. The woman on the desk asked how she could help, I was about to tell her I have an appointment and she just blatantly ignored me and began to do another task while I was speaking.. then the other lady on the desk asked me if SHE could help.. I said yes and then told her my details about the appointment, which she then said she couldn’t find on their system.. I explained it was through the emergency service and she said “oh.. well we don’t have any dentists in the practice today” WHAT ?!!?! Another patient who was an actual regular of theirs, came in and had the same issue and they were very unhelpful to her too, turned her away and said there was nothing they could do because all of the dentists were off sick! Avoid this dentist at all costs, waste of time and extremely unprofessional, no empathy towards patients at all, and on top of that, the emergency dental service have called me and kindly rearranged an appointment at another location , and they told me that they have been trying to call “the dental team” and they have had the phone declined numerous times. So they can’t even answer the phone to the emergency line either! Shocking behaviour from a dental practice, absolutely disgraceful.

Negative experience: This dental practice is terrible every appointment is cancelled. When you do receive a check up they look in your mouth for 2 seconds and miss issues.

Fantastic experience: Amazing staff very welcoming and friendly made my little boy so calm when he was getting Nervous the therapist was Nafisa and nurse was Riddhi couldn't thank them enough

Fantastic experience: Visited the dental team for my baby girl's dental check-up. Therapist Nafisa and nurse Hanin make our every visit very comfortable. My child is very happy to visit them and get some stickers. My child is always happy to interact with dentist Nafisa.

We were very pleased with the treatment and advice given by the hygienist Nora, she was very professional and explained our issues very clearly and friendly. Khala, the nurse was also very cheerful and provided good customer services.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and very helpful. My Nieces and Nephews are registered here and everyone at the practice has helped me. Rebecca helped me with guardianship and address updates, things that I thought would require a few visits to sort out but were all done within 10 minutes. Today, me and my Nephew saw Nafisa and Regina who were welcoming and careful with my Nephew, Nafisa shows a lot of knowledge and is great with the kids as she always puts a smile on their faces when they visit. Positive experience: First time my daughter got seen by Theapist Nafisa. Everything went smoothly and she was very nice. She even checked whether my daughter had been referred for braces, got us the tracking number and guided us how to went online to check the status of the referral. She took the initiative with all that before we even had to ask, which I found -from my experience - is quite rare to be honest as they always seem to be overloaded with patients. My daughter needs to have 2 fillings done so she even managed to fit my daughter in with her already fully booked schedule. Thank you so much Nafisa!

Positive experience: The therapist nafisa and the nurse muna treated me with lots of care and dedication. I am really pleased with how they have treated me. Although making appointments can be a huge issue and they reception waiting time is quite long,sometimes they don’t even pick up the phones ; I’ve had encounters where they would cancel the appointments last minute. Apart from these few booking and cancellation issues, the staff are really helpful and patient

Positive experience: Usually ok but today communication was a joke. Went for an “appointment” today for 5:05 and wasn’t seen until 30 minutes later yet everyone after me had been seen. No communication to say sorry there has been a delay or to let me know what’s actually happening and why THEY are late to the appointment. I had to go to the receptionist and ask and all she could say is she’s with someone then it’s you which tbf what else can she do or say as the receptionist but it’s not ideal and not acknowledging how late THEY were was frustrating. Was finally seen and got a flippant sorry for the wait from the nurse and an apology from the dentist which I appreciate but by then damage was done just wanted to get out of there. Also I’d been to two other private dentists before who gave me an X-ray and told me I needed 2 fillings with my regular dentist and my dentist today only suggested one so ‍♀️ take that as you will. She was still a huge step up from the old dentist who had left though who would shout at nurses in front of patients. Made me feel really bad for them but never got his name. Again they’re usually great but the poor handling of their time and customer service is the reason for this review today.

Fantastic experience: I have so much praise for Nafisa and her assistant Hanin. They spend time with my nephew, who is inquisitive about all the instruments used and the process of his treat. He gets himself worked up when it comes to going to the dentist, but honestly Nafisa is calm from the moment we walk into the treatment room and has a check in with J and explains everything before she does anything, which helps J be settled before he has any treatment required to have.

Fantastic experience: The receptionists are nice, the therapist Nafisa is kind and the therapist Regina is friendly. I highly recommend ‘the dental team’ as a family dentist.

Positive experience: Nafisa (my therapist) and Hanin (my nurse) are both really well and professional; however the receptionists are disrespectful, and there calls never answer until about 20 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to all the staff who have gone out of their way to help my Son with his treatment . Maria and Becky , Yidan ,Sanchi ,Angel and two other lovely young ladies on reception . They have all been so helpful with a stressful situation and despite times when they have all been very busy. All dental staff have been professional and informative and kind . Reception staff do a great job despite being very busy . Could sometimes do with more staff on there. Thanks again

Fantastic experience: Had an excellent visit today. Had an impacted wisdom tooth extraction six months ago so was very anxious about having to assess the results. Saw the Hygenist (Huda) and the Nurse (Khola) first who put me at ease and did a dental clean and polish. Then saw the Dentist (Soha) and Nurse (Sameena) who looked at my teeth and the extraction site. Gave great recommendations on a toothbrush that would help as well as advice on aiding the healing process. Everyone worked very efficiently together and the wait time was minimal. Have been coming to The Dental Team for years and have always had a very positive experience here. Highly recommend here for anyone looking for kind, compassionate and professional experts in their field.

Negative experience: This must be one of the worst dentists I've ever been to One lady who I presume to be the manager was so rude to there staff I was really shocked There seems to be a demeaning attitude towards the staff and receptionist I will be definitely be looking for a new dentist
