Everyone I encountered was exceptionally kind, considerate, and reassuring, which meant a great deal to me as I was very nervous throughout—particularly as the appointment was regarding composite bonding on my front tooth. Dr. Catherine Myatt took the time to explain everything thoroughly, never rushed me, and was genuinely attentive to all my concerns. Her calm and thoughtful approach made a big difference, and I’m very much looking forward to my next appointment with her.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at BC Dental Practice for a number of years . I have had to have treatment with Dr Ashley Davenport. I have found him to be non- judgemental, empathetic when needed. He is incredibly kind and patient but extremely professional delivering the tasks that were required for myself through lack of maintenance on my part. I would not consider going to another Dentist despite the fact I live in Kenilworth. All the staff are warm, pleasant and friendly . Also, hygienist Lorna Ogilvie is fantastic with her kindness and practical approach .

Last year I visited Balsall Common Dental Surgery (best thing I ever did) I was so afraid because I thought I knew what lay ahead., How wrong could I be.Ashley was so kind and understanding and listened to my fears and took the time to put me at ease and after a number of visits we decided on a course of treatment that was best for me.Ashley took time to explain all the options open to me and what was involved, and the cost.When the day came for my implants (4) I felt quite at ease and relaxed,and can honestly say I felt no discomfort or pain just as Ashley had promised.I can't thank Ashley and his lovely team enough for giving me back my confidence and my smile.Not to mention advice on wedding hats.Thanks to Ashley and all the team.xx

Positive experience: Vanessa is an absolute superstar, best hygienist I've ever had. The front desk ladies are friendly, quick and sweet. Ash on the other hand made me feel uncomfortable. He chatted about my teeth and treatments like as if everything was his decision rather than mine, talked down to me like I was dumb and came across slightly full of himself. I will come back for Vanessa, not sure about Ash.

Fantastic experience: Ashley who owns the practice has always been excellent in the 30 years that I have been seeing him. He is efficient and always produces an excellent finish. Before he does anything he always explains exactly what is involved and will answer any questions and the price. I don’t like dentists but Ashley is very understanding of how best to make you comfortable. Also he is not totally money oriented it is about your care and what is best for you and what you can afford at the time. I would only see him because of his skill and the friendly atmosphere at his practice.

Positive experience: Friendly, professional practice. Vanessa is a fab hygienist too (best I've had) - she is 5 star. However after leaving it transpired I had a loose filling put in by Ashley - I had asked him about it previously and he had decided it was ok. New dentist immediately identified during a normal check up that it was very loose and was able just to dislodge it quite easily (without me flagging the offending tooth to him). Filling had to be replaced after only a couple of years. I wish he had just been honest with me about the quality of his work - we all make mistakes. I do suspect looking back that he knew it was loose but as it had stopped bothering me, he decided just to leave it, leaving a risk of infection/decay etc. Another time I had shown him a tooth that had changed colour, asking if it was dying or anything. He said it was nothing and teeth change colour. However a couple of years later it transpired that the tooth had entirely died and a root canal was required. Again this was spotted by the new dentist during a simple check up. I'm not sure when it happened but it's clear something had started to happen while under Ashley's care which led to the colour change to blue/gray and perhaps if he had spent more time looking at it, he would have spotted something. Often his check ups did feel perfunctory, albeit a much more pleasant experience than other dentists. Knowing what I know now, I don't think I would go back.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been going to this practice for >20 years and has consistently received excellent care. When my son had a broken jaw, Ashley was immediately on hand with dental support out of hours. The practice's follow up communications reflected their genuine care for their patients. More recently, my wife was diagnosed with mouth cancer and the handling was excellent. The practice chased and escalated referral appointments. Nothing was too much trouble. Whilst she was in hospital for an operation followed by radiotherapy treatment, the practice kept in touch to monitor progress and offer support. Post treatment, the check up appointment was thorough and clearly explained continuing dental risks. In a time of crisis, the practice provides family-like care and we have really appreciated it. Thank you.

I am 80 years old and in my time have experienced many dental practices, I have to say that I feel so lucky to have found Doctor Ashley at a time when my body is a little more fragile than it used to be in my youth. The treatment is absolutely first class, I particularly like the fact that Ashley always has time to discuss ongoing treatment with you and gives you a series of options to fit both your pocket and your lifestyle. I have reached the stage where I needed a denture something I really dreaded, the surgery has a new digital mapping technique where they make a 3-D model of your mouth, my new denture fits like a glove and functions just like my original teeth, I am absolutely thrilled. I recommend the practice to you without hesitation, whatever your age or your condition Balsall Common Dental practice will have the solution.

Fantastic experience: When I started going to Balsall Common Dental Practice, I had a lot of problems. I had had my original veneers (first fitted on eight of my front teeth 20 years ago) replaced by my previous dental practice and they kept falling off. I switched to Balsall Common DP, and Cath, my dentist there has been brilliant. She has replaced my top veneers with crowns, changed the shape of my bite by building up the back of my incisors, thereby taking pressure off the crowns and replacing one of my lower veneers that was a different shape and colour to match the rest. Cath is like a highly skilled structural engineer for teeth. The hygienist team at Balsall Common are also fantastic and the whole philosophy of the practice is preventative. My teeth and gums are in a better shape now than they have been for years.

Fantastic experience: This dental practice is the best around by far, there is so much I can say about them they are great with children even children with special needs, great with adults and they put your mind at ease with payments for your treatment offering finance, pay as you go or just pay total. I was so impressed as not only did I get full consultation, an X-ray was done without charge, this showed how professional Ashley Davenport was that he looked at the tooth before giving his opinion. I began with clear aligners, that I wore for 6 months, followed by gum contouring and composite bonding. Staff were very helpful and quick with setting my appointments. Fantastic experience: I have been going to this practice for years. Before I started going I was extremely nervous as I've had some very bad experiences at other dentists. Plus I'm terrified of needles and pain. However, the care and service I've had has been excellent. All the staff are lovely and very caring and Cathy is brilliant at calming me down and talking me through any procedures. Cathy is also extremely thorough and will always take the time to properly investigate any pain and the cause. I would especially recommend this practice if you are nervous of dentists or simply appreciate excellent service.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to the brilliant and caring Balsall Common Dental practice for several years now and could not recommend them any more highly. I joined the practice whilst living in Germany on a visit to see my Mum and have been a happy client ever since, staying with them through five years living in Dubai during which time I even had Invisalign treatment. Ashley always explains my treatment and I believe always gives the best and most cost effective treatment. The hygienists are also fab, very thorough and cause no discomfort and the welcome from the whole team on reception is so warm and friendly. They have always been very flexible in trying to find me appointments to fit with visits home from abroad and really treat their patients as individuals. Special shout out to Kirsty who went the extra mile recently to arrange an emergency appointment for me . Now living back in the UK but more than 2 hours away in Yorkshire, I didn’t consider for a second moving to a more local dental practice as the service from Ashley and the team is so special.
