Fantastic experience: I joined this practice about 13 years ago, I needed partial dentures, I am petrified of dentists but Andy was great, 13 years later I knew I had to be brave and go back to sort my teeth out... Today I have just finished my treatment, 4 more teeth out and new partial dentures fitted... I cannot thank Steve, Liz, Aga and Lauren enough, how u put up with me for the last 6 visits I will never know, my teeth are beautiful just as u told me they would be.... Fantastic experience: I am so nervous going to the dentist after bad experiences as a child. I went to Advance after 5 years of plucking up the courage to go! My initial course of treatment was carried out by Stephen who was very patient calming and put me at ease throughout. I then had to have a deep clean due to advanced gum decease and bone loss. Cheryl the hygienist was amazing very professional and didn't judge me at all! Did a thorough clean and explained everything! All the dental nurses and receptionists are brilliant too!

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist some time. They aren't my favourite place to visit. However when I was called by advance dental care to inform me that they has a space for me I was excited to finally have a dentist. My vist was very pleasant. Diane and Holly put my nerves aside. Fantastic experience: This 5 star review is about two people and two people only. Diane and Aga. I’ve been here 4 times now, twice with these two lovely ladies and twice with a man. Diane has never hurt me and Aga is always so understanding about my fear of dentists. When I come and have treatment off the man (not sure on name) he always hurts me, the last time I had him Aga was with him and he hurt me, I ended up crying as it really hurt and had been a long day. Aga is so understanding, caring and sweet she was amazing. I had her again today with Diane and she remembered me from last time, she could see I was nervous she offered for me to hold her hand and gave me a fidget to keep my mind occupied. Diane has never hurt me, she is lovely. We had a lovely conversation as well as a sing along to the radio, she makes me feel a lot more at ease when I come to get something done. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this dentist enough. I had neglected my teeth for years and had major anxiety about visiting dentists particularly a new one. After reading numerous good reviews about this practice, I plucked up the courage and made an appointment for a smile consultation. The appointment was amazing, Kas immediately made me feel comfortable. I needed a lot of work on my teeth and gums including fillings , an extraction, crowns and veneers. After a year of dental appointments and hygienist appointments I now have a healthy mouth and smile. It has made such a difference to my confidence. The crowns and veneers on my front teeth are so natural, I am over the moon with how they look. Both Kas and Aga were amazing throughout, ensuring I knew exactly what was happening at every appointment. Thankyou Kas and all the team at Advanced Dental Care.

On my last visit I had a filling & a scale/polish. The dentist made me aware of what was going to happen throughout the whole process. Most definitely a Calm & Caring experience. Fantastic experience: After multiple challenges accessing reliable dental care for our two children in Barry, the eldest of whom now has significant problems with his back teeth that needed support but others had failed to provide, we found Advance Dental and Orthodontic Care. From the first call with the lovely team who work on the front desk, we felt reassured and safe. Within three days, my son had his first appointment and follow-up treatment that has removed the pain he has been experiencing and allayed any fears he and I had. Diane and her team were incredibly kind and gentle with him. They went through every sound he'd hear, every sensation he'd feel, all of the equipment they'd use and what his treatment plan was likely to look like. He left the surgery today genuinely excited not to feel any more pain in his tooth and remarked on how lovely everyone was to him there. We're really grateful to have found this practice and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone - particularly those families with young kids. These positive experiences in their formative years are so important. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Okie frist dentist appointment for 24 months as not a great fan of the old tooth fairy found this dentist on google maps the reviews were awesome so thought my teeth are a mess got to try something someone so what can a say lovely atmosphere for a dentist the chap I met was Kas what a lovely chap and made me feel at ease straight away so I’ve decided to go ahead with some implants treatment & bridge work the assistant was very nice to so looking forward to getting to know them both as my treatment progresses I’d recommend this dentist to anyone who dislikes dentists 5 star so far from me

Fantastic experience: My 12 year old daughter was very nervous as she had to have injections to remove 2 baby teeth. Diane was so kind right from the start and made her feel instantly calm. Whilst having the injections Sarah was constantly reassuring her and held her hand. What could have been am awful experience for my daughter was infact a truly calm and relaxed experience. I can not thank Diane and Sarah enough.

Fantastic experience: I should start by saying I’m not a good patient – I have a phobia of anything medical. Also I had a poor experience with my Dentist prior to joining Advanced Dental Care several years ago. Since being a patient there, I have been treated with nothing but empathy and kindness. After Christmas I cracked my tooth, my check-up showed that needed to be repaired and an older filling needed to be replaced. The reception staff really did set the tone that this experience would be different. Kas and his assistant couldn’t have done more to help me feel comfortable. Before the treatment they asked if I wanted a fidget spinner which I appreciated as I never know what to do with my hands. They put anaesthetic on my gum and I genuinely did not feel much when they gave me my injections. They put music on for the procedure to help calm me. The work was done and it was painless. Kas made sure the filling matched my teeth - I can’t tell there’s a filling there anymore. I’ve always hated seeing my teeth in photos – this looks a lot better. I don’t think I’m fixed yet but I will try and remember this experience for future appointments. Many Thanks to everyone that helped me.

Dr Hilary explained everything that she was going to be doing in great detail which put me straight at ease. Fantastic experience: Had Invisalign with Advance Dental and Kas got my teeth exactly how I wanted them, explaining every bit of the process in detail. Cannot thank him enough!!! The dental nurses with Kas were all super calming and friendly especially Aga who I had majority of the time. Fantastic experience: The best dental experience I ever had. I hadn’t been to the dentist in so long and was absolutely terrified to go back after a previous experience elsewhere. The dental nurse was so comforting and they were non judgemental and it didn’t hurt one bit. I only had a temp filling put in but I would deffo go back.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Advanced Dental Care for around two years now. The way my teeth look compared to two years ago is completely different - for all the right reasons! All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming! A big shout out to Kas and Lauren, who made my experience easy and enjoyable. Fantastic experience: Andy probably saved my life yesterday. Dramatic? Well, I was shaking with pain and painkillers just weren’t making an impact. Got an early appointment, 30 mins later, back on the street with only a tender mouth. These guys are superstars, and meticulous. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Thank you.

Diane and Liz were fantastic and I would wholeheartedly recommend their service along with the dental surgery. Diane went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was comfortable. Definitely not a scary experience and I’m a wimp!

Fantastic experience: I've been with Advance Dental Care for some years now. I had intented to to get 3 implants a few years ago and started the process with Kaz there at Advance, aka "Pain Free Dentistry". Too many Texan bars, mojos, fruit salads and flying saucers in my younger years had done their worst (showing my age a bit there).Sadly, covid got in the way and I eventually started the treatment in 2024. Kaz talked me through every planned step of the process, including walking me through the x-rays and every step of the planned procedures that were ahead. I started the implant journey in April, 24. One implant on top left, and two together on top right. This was the largest part of the process, (placing the implants in and, in my case, I had 2 areas of bone graft.) The session was an order of magnitude easier than I had imagined (and I have a vivid imagination). Kaz and the nurse (I forget which one, they are all fab), went at the pace I was comfortable with and with copious amounts of care and friendly banter. To be honest, I spent the time daydreaming (mentally chilling in my happy place on a beach as it happens) whilst they got on with the work. Time sped by and it was done without any pain or stress. A few months later I was back for the checkup and molds to be taken and a couple of weeks after that, the actual crowns were fitted. I'm thrilled with the result. Getting implants is a major decision, and if you're going to make the step, I totally recommend you make an appointment at Advance Dental Care to talk through the process and options. The entire team are great with their planning, communication and genuine commitment to making Dentistry as pain free as it can be. 5 stars well deserved!!

Fantastic experience: After a bad experience in 2011 with a wisdom tooth extraction resulting in a fractured jaw. I wasn't exactly thrilled to see a dentist any time soon, that is until I attended Advanced Dental last year. The team are fantastic, lovely people that put my mind at ease without fail during every visit. I've just had 2 fillings with Diane and Lauren today and previously had 2 fillings done with Hillary and Aga. Any nerves I have walking in are very quickly eased by the ladies, reassuring me at every step of the process. The receptionist ladies are very polite and easy to talk to, nothing seems too much trouble when you talk to them. Thank you Advanced Dental Care for restoring my confidence in visiting the Dentist!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. I had an implant crown to replace an old denture and a few crowns at the front to improve image of teeth damaged from sports injuries. No pressure, kept well informed, and really pleased with the overall result.

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with my treatment since transferring to Advance Dental and Orthodontic Care. The staff on reception are always on the ball and very pleasant. You are out at ease as soon as you arrive in the waiting room. Particular thanks to Kas and Aga my dental team. I am over seventy and have never felt as confident when visiting a practice for treatment. Last year I needed to have a new partial denture. All my options were carefully explained and I was supported through the numerous appointments that were required to complete my treatment. I always felt in safe hands and never felt there was any hurry to rush me out the door. I would recommend them to anybody particularly if you are nervous about dentists.

Fantastic experience: New patient check-up and hygienist appointment. Reception staff were lovely as always. (my daughter is already a patient) my dentist Kas was really friendly, put me at ease and didn’t make me feel terrible for not having seen the dentist for a while. He explained exactly what was going on with my teeth and whether I’d need any treatment or not. Then I saw Diane and Liz for a scale, polish and a filling (big shout out to them for squeezing in the unexpected filling at the same time, thank you!) Not the most comfortable of things to have done but both were super friendly and it was all over in no time. Overall the service was excellent, all the staff were laid back but still professional which made the atmosphere really relaxed and friendly. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Having an issue with an awkward placed Wisdom Tooth I felt trepidation having not seen a Dentist in almost 30 years. But from the moment I nervously entered Advanced Dental Care I was immediately greeted with warm welcoming smiles, friendly and a professional environment from the ladies on Reception which immediately made me feel at ease. My consultation was with Kaz the Dentist and Aga the Nurse who was assisting, from the moment I was met in Reception by Aga who was very friendly and warm with a welcoming smile, who then led me into the Surgery to meet Kaz. Upon entering the Surgery I was immediately put at ease with a very warm and professional welcoming from Kaz. After explaining the issue with my problematic tooth, Kaz conducted the assessment, fully explaining throughout and being very gentle considering the placement of the tooth, with Aga being very attentive ensuring that I was ok. As I hadn’t seen a Dentist in three decades Kaz was very thorough to ensure that my mouth and gums were healthy. A treatment plan was instructed with full explanation and reassurance from Kaz that he would resolve my issue which would include two follow up appointments. The first follow up us was a week later with Cheryl the Hygienist. Once again, the ladies on Reception were very warm, welcoming and friendly when I arrived for my second appointment. Not having any nerves for this appointment due to my first experience, I was punctually greeted in Reception by Sarah who again met me with a lovely smile and demeanour. Sarah then escorted me into meet Cheryl in her surgery, without fail Cheryl didn’t disappoint, she was friendly, warm, professional and genuinely caring. Cheryl explained what the treatment consisted of and that if I felt any discomfort then to signal with my hand. Throughout the treatment I felt no discomfort at all, this is down to her skill set undoubtedly but also how both her and Sarah interacted with each other, including me into their conversation. Leaving that appointment my teeth felt amazing, having never felt so clean. Also with more understanding by being educated on technique and to ensure that I am keeping my mouth healthy. Cheryl educates in layman’s terms without patronising, you can tell that she cares and is passionate about what she does. On my third appointment, again arriving into Reception with the warm welcome and lovely environment. And again as per the past two appointments being punctually met by the Nurse in Reception, again by Sarah who greeted me with a smile and a friendly manner, again leading me into see Kaz. Again, without fail Kaz was brilliant, explaining exactly what the treatment entailed. This included injections in my mouth to numb the area ready to extract my tooth. Honestly, I felt nothing during this procedure, giving blood is more painful. Once he identified my mouth was numb he proceeded to remove the tooth, which took no more than 5mins and I felt nothing. Sarah assisting ensuring that any fragments were removed with the suction, ensuring I was ok throughout the whole procedure. After the procedure, Kaz fully explained what I needed to do, providing me an after care leaflet. It has been a few days since and I have had no pain or issues. This is testament to his professionalism and skill. From start to finish Advanced Dental Care have been incredible, the professionalism alone shown consistently by the whole team is outstanding. Combined with their warmth and friendly demeanour, I truly believe that this practice deserves an award as an accolade and recognition. I cannot give a big enough recommendation for this Team and Practice. The owner should be very proud. Thank you to you all.

Fantastic experience: My 14 year old daughter Tilly has been coming to the practice for a short while. She has had 3 fillings and two teeth out and it has been totally pain free thanks to Diane and Andy. Also she absolutely loves the care she gets from Aga and Liz. Love you guys. Fantastic experience: Can't recommend everyone at this practice enough. From the dentist kaz to hygienist Cheryl and the nurses who have not just assisted but been instrumental in the smooth running of each appointment for my daughter who has suffered server mental ill health far beyond the anxieties found with a fear of dentists. Caring honest kind supportive and positive at every stage had we not found these amazing professionals instead of putting right her teeth and taking away years of pain we would have been looking for dentures.

Fantastic experience: My husband had treatment with Andy who was very friendly & professional. All treatment was totally painless. Andy discussed all options and there was absolutely no hard sell, his advice was totally unbiased and what was the best for my husband. Update on my review as it does not seem to offer an option to do another review following this review 5 years ago. - I recently had an implant done with Andy, the process was absolutely painfree, everything was explained clearly and went smoothly over the course of treatment. Fantastic experience: After having numerous problems with my teeth and having a dead tooth for 6 years that needed to be taken out I contacted advanced dental care as they had amazing reviews! I was being seen by the nhs dentist near my home which made me even more scared of the dentist! Anyway, Kaz and Hollie were absolutely amazing with me today and got the tooth out successfully with no problems, they kept me calm and relaxed and we stopped every time I need a break during the extraction. I am so happy for the care I have received from them, we have a plan in action for the next couple of appointments that will sort everything out and I’m forever grateful for how they have helped and supported me through how anxious I was. Fantastic experience: All of the staff at this friendly dental practice are brilliant at putting me at ease. As a child in the 1960s my memories of the dentistry left me extremely nervous, despite the advancements made. I feel extremely lucky to be a patient here. Particular thanks to my dentist Caz, he is very, very patient and has a relaxed disposition. He explains every thing he is about to do, if there is anything I don't understand, I am able to ask him, with out fear of feeling 'daft'. Thanks too, to Sarah and Aga the dental nurses who assist Caz, as they also help to put me at my ease. I would definitely recommend registering with this exceptional dental practice.

Fantastic experience: I needed to have my filling redone and I am extremely nervous when it comes to the dentist - I sit in the chair and just shake. Diane and Sarah couldn't have been more accommodating, taking their time and talking me through everything. They were absolutely stellar and I am so grateful for their patience, reassurance, and kindness. It went so much better than I could have hoped for.

Fantastic experience: The staff were very welcoming and took time to explain everything. During the consultation I explained to the dentist the cosmetic procedure I required and after further inspection he realised the work was not as invasive and he did it there and then. He could have easily not told me and allowed me to spend a couple of hundred pounds for the other procedure and second appointment. I felt very at ease and thanks to them I now smile with confidence again!

Fantastic experience: This morning I was booked in for a cavity as well as a scale and polish. Donna and Dianne were amazing at making me feel very comfortable through the entire process from start to finish, whilst maintaining very high professional standards throughout the procedure. As someone who has had bad experiences with previous dentists I am glad I found this one! Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Andy and his team enough. I only ever went to the dentist if I absolutely had to, this was due to a very bad experience at 5 years of age and my fear continued through my adult life. I told Andy I was extremely nervous when I first met him and asked to be put to sleep before any treatment. This dentist is definitely ‘pain free’. Andy and his team made me feel so safe. I knew he wouldn’t allow me to experience any pain. I am now 63 and have recently had root canal treatment and HONESTLY did not feel a thing. Believe me you will be safe and pain free.

Fantastic experience: Recent check up on my dental implants and all is good, the staff are always friendly and efficient with Andy's work and attention to detail are second to none. Following years of having a poor gag reflex mainly due to anxiety, I have recently had ETP sessions with Sarah at Advanced Dental Care. These sessions have proved a godsend in helping me to control the gagging and to discriminate between anxiety and excitement do as to curb the former and enjoy the latter. Fantastic experience: I have avoided the dentist for many years and my top set of teeth were in a terrible state, i came to advance dental care due to the reviews i had read. Andy and his staff put me at ease straight away,calm and caring dentistry it certainly is.After my consultation Andy recommended to have my remaining teeth extracted and have mini implants put in, i thought NO, but after he explained to me that it would be virtually pain free ,we agreed a price and set the treatment in motion.Andy was true to his word virtually no pain, why was i afraid for all those years ?
