Tovey Little Dental Centre

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient at Tovey Little Dental for many years with great experiences, today was my annual check up , I arrived there 10 mins before my appointment but ended up waiting a another 15 mins before I was called in , unfortunately I have hearing difficulties and it was difficult to hear what the Dentist was saying to me , the Dentist chair was also very uncomfortable, I’m an NHS patient and felt like a second class citizen , what ever you have changed is a backward step (IMO) I’m afraid I was really disappointed with the experience today.

Fantastic experience: I've been having my teeth cleaned by Sam the hygenist every 6 months for many years now and have always been very impressed by her professional and friendly approach. My teeth look amazing after a visit and I even look forward to my next appointment !

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a dentist look no further. I have been with this dentist for nearly 30 years, the staff are friendly, professional and kind. I used to be a very nervous patient and now I don’t have the anxiety each time I have an appointment. My hygienist and nurse Tracy and Sue are both lovely really helpful and more importantly for me all my experience at Tovey and Little is pain free!! I cannot rate them highly enough

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been anxious about the dentist, but hygienist Sam and nurse Sue were amazing. They were so kind, patient, and reassuring, and really put me at ease. Fantastic experience: Many thanks to Dr Joanne Wilson and Zora Husickova and all the staff at Tovey & Little for putting up with me at a difficult time. Particular thanks to Jo for providing excellent dental care to me for many years and for also saving bridge work, carried out in India, (be careful folks) they didn't clean between the gum linings over there after they finished the job, it could have been a disaster. Special thanks to Zora Husickova for performing complex root canal treatments. Throughout all my concerns were addressed and I really felt heard and responded to despite being a trying patient at times. Always everyone at the practice were friendly, maintained the highest professional standards and held my best interests at heart. Going forward I am now equipped to practice best oral hygiene.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my daughters have been on the panel of Tovey Little for over 20 years and can 100% say they are the peak of professionalism . Extremely friendly staff, great communication and most of all A1 dentistry. Dr. Kim Weston- is my dentist and has performed both care type procedures and cosmetic type of which the results are brilliant! They have also worked their magic on my girls! Today I had the pleasure of a scale and polish with two lovely ladies , Sam the hygienist and her nurse Sue. They made me so at ease with their banter that the appt was a total pleasure. Although the ownership has changed in recent years the excellent service continues. I had my routine 4 monthly check up today followed by a clean etc by the hygienist Sam & nurse Sue. Fantastic experience: I’m so happy I have found this dentist and I would highly recommend Tovey Little dental. Everyone I met was so friendly and professional in their work. My first appointment was with dentist Dr. Nadia and her assistant nurse and they made me feel so welcome. Everything was explained to me clearly before giving me a full dental check up and good information on how to look after my teeth better. On my 2nd appointment I went to see Tracy ( hygienist) and Sue ( nurse). They are so professional at their work, my gum wasn’t even bleeding after the clean. Thank you Tracy and Sue. That’s never happened before from all the previous dentist. I am no longer nervous going to the Dentist now.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I recently transferred to Tovey Little from another dental practice near by. The difference is chalk & cheese. We are very impressed with the environment, the dentist who examined and treated us, the hygienist (Tracy), and her nurse assistant (Sue), as well as the receptionists. We are really pleased with our experience so far and wish we had transferred ages ago…… better late than never though !

Fantastic experience: Another Visit to Tovey and Little , last week I saw the Detist Deepa who was brilliant as always, a checkup that proved to have no problems and gave me the confidence that I’m in very safe hands. This week I had a visit to Tracy the Hygienist who was helped expertly by Sue the Nurse . It was a real Pleasure again , So professional and informative, very relaxed atmosphere helped today by the lovely air conditioning. My teeth feel so fresh and clean after their expert attention. Fantastic experience: My first root canal… I’d heard so many horror stories that I was dreading it. I needn’t have worried. The specialist was friendly, reassuring and extremely thorough and careful in the job he did. The only slight amount of pain was the injections - after that I had none. My tooth has settled down well and I’ve had no after effect. Extremely pleased with the treatment.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth removed and a new denture fitted by Dr F Oba. Dr Oba talked me all through my treatment and explained the procedures competently. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with the hygienist yesterday Tracy (hygienist) and Sue (Nurse). I went in on time they were friendly and helpful and give me good tips on how to floss more efficiently. I would definitely recommend this dentist for treatment I have always felt at ease with any treatment. I will be visiting the hygienist more often after this experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at Tovey Little for around 20 years now and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. The team are always so lovely and friendly and hygienist Tracy (who I see most often) is just brill. I’ve never had any real issues with my teeth and I put that down to their advice and care.

Fantastic experience: Firstly my user name is not my real name, so this may save some confusion if you search your records. I have been with this practice since it opened and well before that. My original Dentist was Peter Little who i pretty much had through my adult life (many years) and until the emotional day he retired which was my last visit. I was allocated Nadi as my new dentist and she has never put a foot wrong and last year had to resolve a sensitive tooth. During her investigations she located a hidden fracture and this was treated with a white composite filling, which held the tooth together with greater strength and looks much better than the standard silver amalgam. Nadia always put me at ease, kept me informed of what she was doing and ultimately made sure there was no discomfort or pain. Unfortunately in January due to some investigations Nadia found an infection in a capped front tooth. She herself could have performed the root canal treatment but I was given the option of seeing Dr Alanshaw, the resident “Specialist “. Dr Alanshaw was on the case promptly and work began in less than a week. Whilst the first visit wasn’t 100% successful due to a persistent infection, a second visit a week later saw hopefully a conclusion to the issue. Whilst I’m not out of the woods yet, the care and detail to attention personifies the excellent Dentistry I have received throughout my life and time with the Tovey-Little team. Phill S.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr Ahmed Alashaw enough. After months of pain with ongoing issues, I saw the dentist and he was extraordinary. He spent nearly 2 hours treating me with extra care and attention. His dedication to his work and patients shows through his work My deepest gratitude. I am curentlt pain free and healing well. Fantastic experience: Seen in joint appointment dental (Dr Weston and Liv) and hygienist (Tracy and Bex). As always, excellent service, friendly and, most importantly trustworthy. Many dental practices are ‘profit led’ where financial gains have a priority over population health and a general good quality service. Although I cannot comment whether this is the case for the whole Tovey and Little Practice, the ongoing service I have had over many years with the same dentist/hygienist has certainly not shown this. Hopefully, they will continue to provide ongoing excellent professional dental support.

Fantastic experience: My anxiety, or perhaps fear is the correct word, of going to the dentist, stems from experiences as a child. Yes, Tovey Little has helpful, polite and friendly reception staff, and that's important, yet it's what happens away from the phone and desk which has had the greatest recent impact on me. Being put completely at ease, having every element of the pending procedure explained, and my welfare, comfort and understanding being constantly assessed and catered for, have come as part of the package delivered very professionally by Dr Noor Jebur and Kerry. Whilst it might be foolish to say that I now look forward to it, Noor and Kerry have really changed my outlook on going to the dentist. Thanks to you both, for the way I've been well treated.

Fantastic experience: I recently registered with this practice having not seen a dentist in a while, and I am already very impressed. The whole team are so lovely, the reception staff are really helpful with arranging appointments and the clinical team have really put me at ease during my appointments. Each step of the way they assisted and changed things to fit my needs and I am very happy with the end result of two lovely implants- always wanted a perfect smile and now I have one!

Everything was well explained, my comfort was a priority. A dreaded experience was not as I feared. Great care was taken to try and save my tooth and so far it seems to have been successful.

I am naturally a very anxious and nervous individual, especially with dentists, doctors and etc. But they gave me excellent care and advice, and no judgement.
