I was not happy with my previous private dental practice in Richmond, and sought a change. I believe Marshgate Dental Practice was an excellent choice I made. The booking experience was great and seamless. The reception staff including Yasi most were pleasant, corteous, and very efficient, and the practice ambience also very good, nice, and cozy. However, the most important part was of course the the dentist and the dental treatment. Dr. Callum was simply one of the best I have encountered. I have a brother who has been an established dentist with own dental practice in Cambridge for over 20 years. Not only did I regard Dr. Calumn's work was flawless, but my dentist brother was also greatly impressed and full of praise for Callum, having metculously observed everything from how he informed the client, his procedure and tools used including dental scans and photos, his greatly corteous and attentive and calming approach, as well as his diagnosis and recommended remedy. My dentist brother regarded him as a fantastic proffessional and dentist, difficult to find. I strongly recommend Marshgate Dental Surgery to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Marshgate for several years and usually just have a 6-monthly check up with Brad and see Jane the hygenist. Recently Brad recommended that I have onlays on 2 of my back teeth, which were heavily filled and cracked, to try to preserve as much of these teeth as possible. I went ahead with the treatment, which required two 2-hour appointments, and it was completely painless. Brad was really good at explaining everything to me and I am delighted with the result.

Fantastic experience: I see Jane three times a year and always look forward to it. I am 60 and, apart from one implant, I have all my teeth and no fillings. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is excellent. Thorough without being brutal. Five stars and I will keep coming back.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with this dental practice as a whole. It had been a while since I visited the dentist. Reception walked me through the quick registration process patiently. The hygienist took such great care with me and taught me about alternatives to flossing that I didn't know existed! I had to get a wisdom tooth removed and was very nervous but the dentist and his assistant were so communicative and gentle. I didn't feel any pain and the aftercare was thoughtful. I'm all healed and very grateful that I found my new dental practice.

She puts me at ease, explains what she is doing , all the noises etc. She explains how I can improve my behaviour in a gentle but sensible way. If it had been for Jane I would be spending much more time with Callum. I am most grateful. I also saw Callum and was delighted to get the all clear. What I love about being here is that everything else in the world becomes irrelevant and I get me time. It is therapy that is achieved because the team are friendly, professional and whilst they take their job very seriously, we can still giggle.

Fantastic experience: Once absolutely terrified of dentists, now I go with a smile! Anna is a fantastic hygienist, I have been seeing her for well over a year. She always remembers to be gentle around some of my more sensitive teeth and puts me instantly at ease. My doctor is Dr. Callum Blackburn whose calm demeanour made my fear of dentists go away completely. So patient and kind. The whole team, including the receptionists is really friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Jane is a fabulous hygienist. My father has dementia and is wheelchair bound and she’s so patient with him (and us). She’s taken excellent care of his teeth and helped us ward off problems in early stages so there have been no dramatic issues. The dentist Callum has also always been great too, again trying to find creative solutions in early stages of potential issues before they become big problems as those become significantly difficult for us to manage with a person with dementia. I chose this practice because their patient rooms can accommodate a wheelchair. The quality of their services is excellent.

Very friendly and knowledgeable, at each appointment, she advises on areas I need to focus on with my own cleaning and which techniques/brushes to use, which is very useful. Fantastic experience: I am not someone who visits the dentist regularly and I definitely have a lot of anxiety about dental visits. So, please understand that I would not be leaving this positive review unless it was 100% true. I experienced a very sore tooth at home randomly and had forgotten that I had previously registered with Marshgate so was pleasantly surprised when I called up to register and was informed that I was entitled to a free dental check. Dr Callum was very calm and shared just the right amount of information. As expected, I had to schedule a wisdom tooth extraction and I have just got home from having it done. I was super anxious and worried beforehand. But I honestly didn't feel any pain. I didn't even realize when the tooth was out. I'm so relieved and so happy with the service I have received from everyone including the reception staff. As a woman of colour, I really appreciate when staff are friendly and professional towards all patients :)

Fantastic experience: Dr Dev Manu has recently done extensive work rebuilding my teeth which required multiple visits and complicated crown work. I cannot recommend more highly his professionalism, skill, and supportive manner. The results are exceptional and I went from being apprehensive to enjoying my visits. A big thank you to Dr Dev.

The staff were friendly, and helpful with finding availability particularly with later Thursday evening appointments. From my initial consultation, Dr. Blackburn addressed my concerns regarding my teeth and bite, discussing numerous available options. He was very informative and provided total assurance on the most suitable options available. I ultimately decided to proceed with Invisalign and am extremely pleased with the results. Fantastic experience: I have used Marshgate Dental Practice for many years, but this was my first time with Dr. Manu and I was a little apprehensive. I needed a crown for a recently broken molar; a dentist in Italy had applied a composite filling twice, but each time the filling came off after a few hours. Dr. Manu explained the procedure, risks and benefits in considerable detail. Both the preparation of the tooth and the final fitting of the crown seemed to take longer than previous crowns I have had, and I felt that Dr. Manu was being extremely thorough, with painstaking care to get the very best result possible. I returned for a minor grinding-down of the crown where the bite did not feel quite right, and Dr. Manu was infinitely patient in getting the crown to my satisfaction. The whole process was comfortable and as pain-free as it could be. I would use Dr. Manu's services again, without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Marshgate for about 2 decades. I have had a few dentists over this time (most recently Callum) all of whom have been great - polite, kind, and smart. I trust that any recommended treatment is actually needed (unlike with previous dentists I have had) and options and rationale are discussed with you. The hygienists are also fantastic (I mostly see Jane, though have also experienced the other hygienists) - your teeth will be sparkling clean and this helps with general health and upkeep of them over time. There is a lot of thought going into your comfort during cleaning etc. to avoid it being a horrible experience and this is very appreciated!!

Fantastic experience: After years of chemotherapy I have been left with damaged teeth and often need extensive and intricate treatment. I have received great care from Dr Manu and Jane at the surgery, in a calm and friendly atmosphere, which is a great help to a nervous patient.

Fantastic experience: Dr Malik Saleh has been my dentist for years now. Not only does he do amazing work but his bedside manner is impeccable. Talks me through what he plans on doing and makes sure all my questions are answered (even if it means repeating himself!) before he starts. Really can't recommend him enough!

After a full examination including taking photos, he explained the treatment required and the long term benefits of preventative dentistry and looking after my teeth for the future. It could not go any better, Dr Devinder is not only a dentist but also a natural psychologist! It was all done super professionally and I wish we’d come to Dr. Devinder previously. Separate thanks to reception staff for reacting at our emergency so quickly and fixing the time with real will, and being so professional at the reception. Fantastic experience: Very nice, welcoming and competent staff. I had a cleaning there, and then had a filling done by Callum Blackburn. I'd gone to my previous dentist for 30 years until he retired, and was very nervous about finding a new dentist. Callum was great, and I was very impressed by the job he did. Also, he patiently adjusted the filling until I felt my bite was absolutely perfect and comfortable. I think I've found my permanent dentist (hopefully for the next few decades!).

Fantastic experience: I am currently half way through my Invisalign treatment with Dr Callum Blackburn and I am so happy with my results so far. I am getting married in August this year and wanted the perfect smile for my wedding day. The process so far has been seamless, from checking in on my progress and aligners regularly and managing my many questions - I cannot recommend him enough! Fantastic experience: I've been going to Marshgate Dental for more than 20 years and in that time had remarkably few problems (probably because I keep up the regular visits). Recently I’d had some some intermittent pain when eating. Dr Callum Blackburn was able to identify a cracked tooth and with a couple of procedures, over two weeks, fixed the problem completely. Callum’s friendly, super professional and takes time to explain the procedures in detail. He is both skilled and empathetic. The whole Team at Marshgate are very accommodating and Jane is a great Hygienist.

I felt like she was incredibly thorough with the clean and ensured I was comfortable throughout the appointment. My teeth felt incredibly clean afterwards and also looked a lot brighter and whiter than they had done previously. This cost more than I have paid for a hygienist clean before at other practices but I definitely felt like it was worth the money. Would highly recommend them as a dental practice.
