Fantastic experience: Used lion house as an emergency dentist, they were ever so polite and understanding and got me in, same day. After attending 2 days on the trot, temporarily resolved the issue, have to attend my own NHS dentist now to see if they can fully resolve in a timely manner, if not, will be going back to lion house and having procedures carried out privately. All I can say, is its a shame they are not NHS as if they were, I'd transfer over to them in a heartbeat. Never have I had a dentist that is so caring, empathetic and sympathetic towards me while in pain. From walking into reception to sitting in the chair, I felt so at ease and felt like I really mattered as a patient. You are a cared for patient here, not just a number.

Fantastic experience: Great Dentist Practice. Super nice people from the Receptionist to the Hygienist & Dentist. They have great pain drugs and aren’t stingy on the doses and I felt nothing during a filling replacement . Who knew ‍♂️ it’d be borderline fun .

Negative experience: Terrible terrible service will never go to this dentist!!! I made an appointment for my daughter and I both as new clients which I was asked to pay a large deposit upfront, I then get a message the day before our appointment that it is going to be canceled due to the dentist being at a training course. I therefore get another appointment offered two weeks later, which I had to re arrange my day to accommodate. On the morning of our appointment i get a text message telling me the appointments have been cancelled due the dentist being Sick!!!

Negative experience: The worst health in my life, I picked this practice as they were next door to me, and I thought that despite their prices my neighbours are priority to be getting the support, besides you pay for what you get (or so I thought). Little did I know I was paying for the worst treatment I have ever experienced, I was looked at first by the practice owner, which he was friendly, he advised me on the problems and asked if another dentist from the practice can carry the work, he vouches for them and it’s only fillings that needs to be done. I booked a hygienist appointment too as he recommended and booked for filling after. When I arrived for my filling appointment I had pain in the tooth that was meant to be worked on, the dentist injected with more anaesthetics, and I still had pain, she waited and injected me with more anaesthetics, but the pain was still there, she applied more anaesthetics over 8 times over 4 or 5 paces until i couldn’t feel a thing, eventually she carried on with the treatment until it was done. I was advised that I would be expecting pain for up to 4 days, a week past and I started noticing the pain growing and going into other teeth, i quickly went to the practice and asked if I can be looked at, but sadly I had no appointment so they booked me on one for the following week as it was Friday, sadly I was having unimaginable pain ( everyone knows tooth pain) and had to book myself urgently somewhere else until because I couldn’t tolerate the pain, it turns out that the tooth I “treated" had an infection and when the work was done the infection was spread around, and was put on antibiotics, I came back on Monday for my appointment to be told that the dentist left the practice and allegedly they tried to contact me, but I had no missed calls, and no voice mails, and ironically i received an automated email the next day telling me off for missing the appointment, I still came back and asked if my gum can be looked at to see if the infection is improving or getting worse, and they bluntly said that if I had no appointment then they can’t do anything which isn’t very pleasing to hear after your treatment . I’m not questioning their friendliness because they were friendly ( why wouldn’t they be, it’s a business after all) but sadly I was more harmed than treated and what made it worse is the amount of times they brushed me off after the appointment. I still wish them well after all, but please whoever is in charge of seeing these reviews, it is only common courtesy to prioritise and urgently look after a patient who just had work done. Faye and her nurse Hayley were very welcoming and friendly, and I can honestly say that for the first time, I didn't feel anything when I had my injection! Fantastic experience: Six month regular check-up and hygienist. It was really good, and on time. The hygienist was very gentle and thorough and advised me on tooth and gum care. The dentist made me relaxed and also took great care. The receptionist is very efficient and friendly. I have a rare condition, I cannot speak clearly and have swallowing issues - the dentist and hygienist allow me more time.

Fantastic experience: Found my experience a very positive one as I’m petrified of going to the dentist and have out off for far to long but the team are so friendly making me feel at ease and comfortable. I had a filling which I can honestly say didn’t hurt and all the stress I gave myself was not worth it. Back again next week but not at all worried about the visit.

Fantastic experience: My Mum Louisa has used the dental practice since we moved to Steeple Claydon a couple of years ago, she loves the whole team, they are friendly and make her feel very welcome. The practice is very clean and hygienic and she highly recommends it.

Fantastic experience: Before I went to lion dentist I got an emergency appointment elsewhere who didn’t x Ray me and got told it wasn’t my tooth that wasn’t causing the problem .i called lion dentist and they offered me an appointment for the next day told me what the problem was and got to go back . The receptionist was very helpful and the dentist was very good knowing I have a phobia of dentists . Would definitely recommend . I always re-book both my dentist and hygienist appointments every 6-months and I receive an electronic reminder to confirm my booking.
