Negative experience: If it were possible to give them zero stars , I would . Everyone knows an aching tooth is a pain at a different level , so my partner down plays this ache but deep down I know it’s severe . I went ahead and booked an appointment with these lot as she couldn’t get herself too, this was Monday and the appointment on Saturday. Long story short , the ache was too bad that Monday evening that we rushed for an emergency appointment and it was dealt with thank God . So I rang them up the next day and they said you can’t have a refund coz you’re a new patient yet all that was in the appointment text was “no refund if later than 48hour notice “. Maybe am the daft one to think between Tuesday and Saturday there isn’t more than 48hrs . You’re such a joke of a service , I’d kindly ask if you’re planning to be a new patient please try else where as this seems to be a scam business with a business premise. Please avoid at all costs .

Negative experience: Didn’t get a refund cause I apparently wasn’t registered with them. As I had got my service done somewhere else as an emergency. They DIDNT say you won’t be getting the money back. you might think I cancled too late nope appointment was Saturday I booked Monday and cancled Tuesday. If a Bussiness won’t tell you the fine print and return your money in my eyes it’s not worth supporting me and my partner were literally about to register for them to be our private dentist but if your running your business like it’s not worth supporting. maybe this was a blessing in disguise and it’s not about the money it’s the principle we work hard for our money very disrespectful.

Negative experience: Had an emergency dentist appointment with Dr Saba Patel for horrible tooth pain. She took an x-ray, examined me, and then told me I had no issues and to take ibuprofen. I went to a different dentist who told me I have a deep cavity that requires root canal - something visible on an x-ray. Saba Patels reading of my x-ray was careless and honestly concerning. I would not recommend a dentist who overlooks serious issues like this.

Fantastic experience: Had my invisalign done with Synergy been with them for over a year now. They cleaned my teeth, Every few weeks called me back in for a check up. After my 15 weeks one tooth was quite stubborn and did not move into place as was desired, The dentist right away got me scanned again and sent off for a new set. They arrived quite fast and now completed my course. They then gave me a full teeth whitening kit after. And will soon be back for another clean. Great service and lovely staff from the receptionists to dentist's and assistants. Thank you.

Negative experience: One of the worst experiences I had when I booked in this clinic dealing with the patient is very bad, especially the mistake was from a new doctor and he does not know anything. When I returned once, I was free and met with the oldest doctor, he treated me with arrogance. I do not recommend registering in this clinic. I am responsible for this matter. They cost me more than 1000 pounds to change new teeth due to the doctor's neglect and the biggest misfortune.

Fantastic experience: I got a prompt appointment to sort out my implant problem. I was met by a calm, polite reception person who bade me good morning and addressed me by name. The dentist saw me promptly and explained the options for my problem clearly. The polite assistant then took me for a scan and I now await a result. I am always happy to atttend this dental surgery with its pleasant reassuring staff.

Fantastic experience: Visited Synergy yesterday morning for the first time after chatting with the professional representative on WhatsApp , greeted with a warm welcoming smile from the receptionist even when she’s dealing with clients who was getting angry with her over something that was out of her control.. Very professional and well spoken. Credit to her ! Every dental tech who’s rushing around getting things done still find a moment to greet you with smile. Usually I’m blanked at the other practices with morbid faces and the work I’ve had done at other practices have always severely made my teeth worse. I strongly feel synergy can be trusted 110% with how they handle things it shows a lot. Waited no longer than 10 mins to be called in for a consultation , it was full at 9am this morning so it shows there doing it right! Everything was explained thoroughly by the dental hygienist! Going in with no idea and coming out with a fresh head on what I can have done going forward an actual run down! most places you don’t get that in a consultation. Can’t credit him enough , thank you

Fantastic experience: I literally travel over 100 miles just to come to Synergy dental clinic in Bolton Farnworth, Dr Bilal is literally the best at his work and the dental nurses that be working alongside him are very accurate and professional, the treatments I have received from this clinic is worth every penny, My mother also comes here and gets her treatment done and she is also very happy with the results. I literally would not go anywhere else id rather travel hours to come to this clinic rather than anywhere local to me. Thank you soo much Dr Bilal and his amazing team. You guys have made me a very proud and happy patient.

Negative experience: Worst service ever. I have a synplan with them. Dentist's are like butcher: cleaned my teeth so painfully, rushing to much, it almost brought my tears I have a decent level of pain tolerance. I rang to cancel my plan, after waiting on phone over 30 mins the operator/receptionist gave me incorrect info on how to cancel. Rang 2nd time, waited over 30 mins over phone. The second operator gave me an email address and asked to send an email. It has been 8 days. They haven't replied to my email yet. Sent them them another email and waiting

Negative experience: ’ve had a terrible experience with Swan Lane Dental Practice. The Practice Manager Natalie Croston was extremely unprofessional and rude, threatening to deregister me simply because I mentioned I would raise my concerns with the CQC. This is baffling, as I have every right to escalate issues if needed. I even asked for permission to record the call, which I did, and the level of unprofessionalism was shocking. I later spoke to the Area Manager, who was helpful and assured me she would address the matter with the Practice Manager and arrange an appointment for me. However, a few days later, I was informed that the same Practice Manager, who also oversees Little Lever Dental Practice, had refused to allow me to be seen at either clinic. This was despite the fact I had not been rude, threatening, or inappropriate in any way. It’s ridiculous, as I would be seeing a clinician, not the Practice Manager, for my dental care. The Area Manager kindly arranged for me to be seen at the PR7 clinic, but that’s an hour’s drive away—not ideal at all. I’ve been with Synergy Dental since I was a child, so it’s a shame that it’s come to this. Their service is appalling, especially if you struggle with mental health—rather than supporting you, they just make things worse. What a way to end the year! I would absolutely not recommend this practice to anyone.

Negative experience: Please please please try and avoid this place as much as possible! Attended on a Saturday at the farnworth clinic for a FULL hygienist appointment costing £100. Was recommended to have this treatment done. The full treatment was NOT done, no help what so ever (advice) a basic clean was given of FIVE minutes. When i explained this to a friend of mine they mentioned the exact same thing happened to someone they know as well. I am genuinely appalled by this service. Not advice, only a basic scale and polish was given also. Day light robbery. How people can do this is completely beyond me. I usually pay £45 at another clinic (couldn’t get at this one for months). A full perio scaling is given, advice and even samples for £45? So why on earth was i charged this for a 5 minute appointment.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mansoor Patel helped me get my perfect smile! I have been thinking about veneers for years after having lots of fillings in my front teeth that wouldn’t whiten. I loved the shape of my teeth and Dr Mansoor Patel listened to exactly what I wanted! My teeth look amazing and naturally white! Positive experience: Went in, was clean. I asked if they were taking people on as I need a dentist and was told they're not taking on NHS patients straight away. The thing is, I wasn't asking for NHS. I was asking for private. But the lady on the desk just presumed, I guess instead of asking if it was for NHS or private. Then didn't even give more information once I said that I meant for private. I was wanting to ask some questions but felt like I couldn't

Fantastic experience: Had some complicated implant work carried out by Bilal. He went through everything about the procedure prior to commencement and throughout the treatment. He ensured I was relaxed and pain free and I can now smile again after years of hiding my worse for wear teeth. A big thank you to Bilal, the dental nurses and the girls on Reception. You all make Synergy Farnworth the special dental practice it is. I am so pleased with my new smile that I would give you 6 stars but I’m only allocated 5. You have my strongest recommendation.

I was really nervous and self conscious about starting Invisalign but all that worry just evaporated. They put my mind at ease. My dentist Dr Salim is great and I’ve had fantastic communication with him via email. He’s always been reassuring with great solutions which I massively respect. Negative experience: After being a patient for 3 years, pains me to write this, never this has ever happened to me before after missing an appointment here, paid everytime on arrival for an appointment, after explaining to the lady over the phone, I had several staff calling in sick today at work, I couldn't for the life of me get to my phone, i work as a professional and i do understand the due diligence of calling in if i cant attend, but this time i couldn't get a split second to reach my phone, was asked for £20 to be paid on the phone, explained again, was told that company policy, when I go to an appointment, I am never seem straight away, always had to wait 15 minutes at least, never said anything as a patient, should I charge you money for wasting my time as well.? Treated like garbage after 3 years.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth finished yesterday after ongoing treatment and cosmetic work and for the first time in over 10 years I can actually say I’ve got beautiful teeth. They talk you through every step and I actually get excited about going to the dentist now.

Negative experience: *REPONSE TO YOUR REPLY* Sensitivity and pain are completely different things. I haven't been able to eat on that side of my mouth since august. I've previously had 2 fillings done elsewhere, and never had any issues after leaving the dentist. Also, you only offered to either replace the filling or get a refund AFTER I contacted the ceo. I made the mistake of getting the filling instead of taking the refund, and now I'm paying for it. Do you also take pride in the negative reviews you've received? It seems like quite a few people have issues with the dentist at the practice. Money seems to be on their mind rather than the wellbeing of the patient! I went in for a filling in august, and I'm still having issues with it today. As soon as I came home, I was numb until 11pm at night which is a big difference from the 1-2 hours they told me I'd be numb. However, I noticed I couldn't eat without being in horrendous pain. I contacted the dentist and was told I'd have to pay to get it fixed. I refused and contacted the ceo, to which they offered a refund or have another dentist fix it for free - which I unfortunately ended up picking. I was booked in, he checked the tooth, put some paste on and that was it. The pain was still there, so a month later I contacted again, this time to get the filling replaced. It's now the 20th December and I still can't eat without being in pain. I've asked for a refund to get this sorted elsewhere, but they've refused to give me one. It's absolutely disgusting the way they treat their patients. For 2 of their dentists to not be able to do something as simple as a filling says a lot about the practice. I've been in agony since August, and have had to take so much time off work to attend these appointments. I'm now going to have to fork out £130+ to get this sorted elsewhere. Also, they definitely drilled too much of the tooth. The side of my tooth is sharp whenever I run my tongue along it. I've contacted the ceo again, but this time I've been ignored, so I'll be taking this to the Dental Complaints Service. I've got a friend in Blackburn who's at Synergy and she had the exact same issue with her filling. She ended up having to fork out hundreds out pounds to get a root canal because of the problems they caused.

Fantastic experience: I've been at Synergy Dental for a few years now. I've recently undergone Invisalign treatment and was changed over to Dr.Saba Patel. I've never experienced a better dentist throughout privately paying for my dental treatment for 5+ years. Anything from a simple scrape to fillings etc feel painless. You can tell she genuinely cares about the work she does and wants to ensure her patients and comfortable and happy throughout. Couldn't recommend Dr. Saba enough!
