Fantastic experience: All the staff are so friendly, Made me feel at ease and so comfortable, Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Requested a call back as apparently the lines are too busy. They called me and literally hung up within a SECOND!!! Is this your call back yeah?? Ridiculous.

Fantastic experience: Went to Alverna yesterday and had first class service as always...I had a check up appt in the morning....I needed a filling and they fitted me in in the afternoon as they had a cancellation and I had come a long way....Dr Shaheen ( Dentist) was his usual friendly self putting you at ease whilst doing his work..later my filling was with Ms Dsouza ( Dental Therapist) who was like a breath of fresh air...she was so polite friendly and gentle at doing her work...both a credit to the practise along with the receptionists and dental nurses etc.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with my recent visit with Ryana, she is very professional and has a lovely, caring nature. Particularly with my son who also visited a few weeks ago and was quite nervous about having the last of his baby teeth removed. She put him at ease and really listened to him and had a lot of patience and understanding. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I went to Alverna house for a consultation and then start my Invisalign journey. My course was 18 weeks long which flew by. The communication and care from Hamzah and his team was nothing short of an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: I visited Alverna Dental House twice for cleaning and filling, and both times Dr. Reyana treated me. She’s honestly the best, super kind, explained everything clearly, and gave me great tips. Big thanks also to her nurse, Melissa, they make a great team! Now I can smile confidently and enjoy my chocolates and ice cream again. Highly recommend! I may be wrong with their names, at least that's what the pretty receptionist said.

Negative experience: Use this place at your own risk!!!!!!!!!!!!! The price changes mid treatment. They keep giving different amounts every time you call. They need to update their accounting system, as it is not able to keep up with all the payments you make compared to the treatments you take. They eventually call back but instead of saying sorry, say you "misunderstood".... then they offer your money back. I have never used such an unprofessional dentist practice. Taking my cash and custom elsewhere......

Negative experience: Absolute joke, my daughter were waiting for check up appointment sinde July, arrived today 5 mins later, because of traffic, rang them on the way that we are running late due to traffic. On arrival receptionist was serving another customer, at that point when she paid attention to us it was 8mins past appointment time and she said we have to rebook it. They keep cancelling appointments themselves , but when you arrive bit late (and our appointment is not only 10 mins that we would delay a schedule), we been turned and offered to wait another month. Big massive joke since Covid ended, will look for another practice or take her to my private dentist, because i left these already, horrible attitude...

Fantastic experience: Earlier in the year my daughter was seen by the lovely Sophie and in arriving Sophie noticed a mark on her face and told her to get it checked which I did and fortunately it was a non cancerous melanoma and if left would turn cancerous?! So I'd like to take the opportunity to thank her deeply for this she went above and beyond and didn't have to tell us this but did so thank you from the bottom of our hearts x

Negative experience: Dentists are really good, and I have never had an issue with the receptionists until today. She was extremely rude, I was stood infront of her for a few minutes (I don't mind waiting at all, but at least acknowledge I'm there, a simple 'I won't keep you a minute' isn't much to ask. She just completely blanked me and continued her conversation with a colleague. She then went onto google looking something up for her colleague. When she'd found it, and had another conversation about what it was, her colleague walked away and she still blanked me and carried on looking at the screen. Luckily another receptionist came and dealt with us. So rude.

Fantastic experience: I visited for a check up and the Dentist found a problem Ivwas not aware of. He recommended me to see my Doctor and have some blood tests done. From this I was diagnosed with a possible life limiting disease and am now receiving intensive treatment. I am so thankful that my dentist told me to get my bloods checked and feel that he has possibly saved me from a much worse scenario. Thank you Alverna House.

Negative experience: I did an appointment for an x-ray for my wife on 12th March, they take the money over the phone everything ok until the appointment day when the doctor said he can do an x ray if she don't do the implants there and he make a call to somebody asking if he can or not,is not make any sense anyway ,but no problem i said if you can't do it give me the money back and guess what hi can't either saying those money are for a check wich we didn't ask for a check and the x ray cost another 100£, so they said is a misunderstood they are sorry. So what I'm gone do, I'm gone ask a letter from the manager saying obviously they can't do nothing with the matter and after with that I will contact Ombudsman to see if I can do something to get my money back.

Fantastic experience: Always very good, on time never delayed. Also helped with some queries about registering my kids and sorted very promptly! All of my family use this dentist and never had any issues.

Through out all my treatment I have been looked after so well by my dentist, Doctor Hamzah. He dealt with my worries and concerns about my treatment in a supportive manner. Fantastic experience: Yes five stars for the most intense toe curling experience I volunteer for or allow to happen to me, tooth ache or how you chose to describe it ,is the worst pain I have ever known or overwhelm me, we need more dentist's and easier to access but that's by the by. I was lucky to repair a damaged tooth and filling before it became a pain. So I thank Molly and the nurse for seeing to me, and Alveena being there as the best dental clinic in St Helens ,worthy of 5 stars

Everyone was so nice, put my mind at ease and talked me through each procedure , with the odd joke thrown in , and the final outcome is a smile that I can smile about Unfortunately they are not accepting NHS patients at the moment but i am more than happy to be put on the payment plan for further treatment A lovely bunch of professionals with a high standard of dentistry, highly recommended thank you so much

Since they accepted me after the Covid lock down I have been very happy with the service they provide. So much so that I felt confident going ahead with dental implants to resolve several problems with my upper front teeth. I have a real fear/phobia of dentists I explained this they have been so understanding and supportive. Simon explained every step clearly so I knew what was happening and at what stage. I can't reccomend him enough.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely first class dental appointments Monday and Wednesday. I had a failed crown next to a pallet containing 2 teeth. An extra tooth was able to be added to my existing pallet which was brilliant, and it was all done in 2 days. this is the first time I have Mr Hamzah Shaheen, but I must say he was really superb. He explained everything he was doing. and was very professional as was his assistant (never got her name). I would recommend Mr Shaheen to anyone going to Alverna House Dental practice.

Negative experience: Kicked me out because they didn’t update their systems. But gladly took my money that I was in credit with them. Bad practice don’t care about customers just money Just to add to your reply. If your “friendly” reception team had done their jobs correctly in the first place I wouldn’t have got kicked out of the surgery. Now I’m going to have to pay and go to turkey and get new teeth because the dentists in this country are an absolute joke. And you would have never offered me my money back if I hadn’t had called. If you are going to kick someone out at least refund them first. As I say not bothered about the patients just the money.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend this practice 100%. I've been a patient at Alverna House for a good few years now. The staff are always polite and friendly. The Dentist explains what treatment is to be given. I have Periodontal Gum Disease so visit every 3 months to the Hygienist and every 12 months see Dentist for full check. They always tell me my options when needing treatment. I have on a couple of occasions had to ask for emergency appointment and each time been fitted in same day.
