Negative experience: I didn't think the place could get any worse but here we are. 5 minute appointments and every concern is fobbed off by the dentist with “floss more”. Could have half my jaw hanging off and she'd tell me to floss more. Anyways, was completly ignored by the practice a few weeks ago when trying to make an appointment as I could barely open my jaw an inch. I was in that much pain I had to fork out to see a private dentist. Who lo and behold, took one look in my mouth and saw the raging infection in my cheek and gum as my wisdom tooth was growing back towards my cheek and rubbing away at the tissue every time I opened my mouth. Something that would've been picked up at my appointment here a few months ago if the dentist had bothered to look. I'm out of pocket £500 because they threw me in and out of the chair, god knows what would've happened if I didn't have the money to spare. But nah, guess I just needed to floss more n the tooth would've grown in straight obviously
Negative experience: AVOID- THIS PLACE NEEDS CLOSING DOWN!!! I would strongly advise avoiding this practice. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. The standard of care is extremely poor, and the management appears to be both disorganised and unprofessional. • Management: Call-backs are promised in six months. Emails from management lack professionalism, with one response starting with “I have just landed into the office,” which speaks volumes about their approach. • Patient Safety: Raising concerns about side effects or allergic reactions to medication can result in being denied future appointments, effectively penalising patients for speaking up. • Consistency of Service: Appointments are frequently cancelled at short notice — sometimes due to staff availability, sometimes with no explanation, even issues such as roof leaks. Yet, when patients must cancel for genuine emergencies (such as a child experiencing a seizure), this is held against them, and they are refused future care. • CQC Concerns: In my opinion, this practice is unsafe, poorly managed, and far from compassionate or effective. It is concerning that it continues to operate without closer inspection and intervention from the CQC. It is clear why there are available NHS places here — patients are leaving due to the unacceptable quality of care. For anyone seeking reliable, safe, and professional dental services for themselves or their family, I would recommend avoiding this practice at all costs.
Negative experience: I'm Autistic ADHD and struggle to make appointments and constant reminders, I phoned up for an appointment to be told " you didn't turn up so we just took you off the list you are no longer at parish dental " an absolute joke. Don't waste your time with this place, no consideration for people here.
Negative experience: I went to an appointment that dentist Sarah Tariq booked for me this week and I was very disappointed because the appointment was supposed to be for a post and a crown because my entire tooth broke and I was left with only a hole in the root Sarah had assured me three months in advance that she would tell me and replace the crown I believed her because she assured me for sure and told me to make an appointment with her in two months that she would do it for me then when I was supposed to have the appointment she cancelled it and made an appointment with her again a month later I waited again so I waited 3 months in total and not two like Sarah promised what amazed me the most is that I was even supposed to have an appointment at 10:35 and imagine that she made me wait an hour more and started taking people earlier in my place she skipped three people and I waited like a fool an hour more she only took me in at twelve in the meantime and imagine that she pulled my nose she pretended she didn't know about the tooth and that she had I have an appointment specifically for this tooth crown!! and she booked me for a check-up! she lies when she can't install a cap in the root and a crown on the cap! then let her not give the patient unnecessary hope, let her not promise what she can't do!! I am disappointed in the dentist that nowadays in such a developed country the dentist will tell you that he can't do it!! so she lies to patients and what I found out about Sarah! when they repaired one of my teeth a while ago.. she was very callous and even rude I was never afraid of dentists but she specifically was
Fantastic experience: Amazing Dentist! Just had a filling and a tooth extraction with Sarah and I have to say, it was a great experience! She’s super professional, really takes the time to explain everything, and made sure I was totally comfortable the whole time. The filling was perfect, and the extraction was smooth with almost no pain. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better dental experience. Highly recommend her if you're looking for someone you can trust!

Negative experience: Very unprofessional practice and negligence on patients. Unlawful Removal without notice. They referred my daughter to hospital after trying to remove her tooth with excessive force and failed since 2023 up to April 2025, never received a letter or anything, my daughter tooth was left damaged and keep breaking in pieces every time, then removed my daughter from the system when she was due to be seen on the 1st of April, cancellation message received on the 28th of March, then the unlawful removal letter followed on the 2and of April 2025 without notice and making sure my daughter's tooth is healthy. After a formal complaint, I requested to see the referral evidence made since 2023, and when I tracked the referral, I was shocked to see that the referral was made on the same date and rejected on the same date. While my daughter was waiting to be seen all this years but the referral was rejected for more information needed. And this dental practice failed to respond back with more information, and or letting the patient know that the referral was rejected but then remove the patient when she was due to be seen. Left my daughter tooth unhealthy and damaged. This is a negligence and unprofessional practice. I cannot recommend this dental practice to anyone. Staffs at the reception are very rude and not professional or competent. Very poor practitioner who has no duty of care to their patients. They don't care and not giving patients a free speech to tell them how they would like to be treated. If you tell the dentist about how you feel, they become nervous and agitated and they lie about you being rude. When there is no evidence at all. Just because you are saying what you think should be done properly and professionally.
Fantastic experience: I had Sarah the dentist and she was absolutely amazing made sure I knew everything that was going on and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and I am very happy with what she did definitely recommend her
Negative experience: If I could give 0 starts I would and am not one to complain but this has really been heart breaking The staff charged £500 for two fillings which I wasn’t even aware I wasn’t meant to pay till today ! They made out as if I was a private patient and that I wasn’t not attending my appointments when I did I wasn’t aware I was even taken off the nhs list and made a private patient. The worst by far is I went there today as I was having toothache they told me they would be chatting me £55 before they could even have a look I asked why am an nhs patient then they said I hadn’t been one for last 3 years that they took me off then I asked how come am only finding this out now ? They never wrote to me or told me anything in fact they have cancelled my appointments on serval times but am being punished for it. I have been left with toothache and to find a different dentist and left with no money which has mad me feel so depressed so if you are thinking of joining please don’t.

Sonya referred my to see a hygienist Dr Amer he was very good my teeth feel very nice and clean Maria his nurse was very comforting as l was feeling nervous.
Fantastic experience: So greatful to the lovely receptionist who kindly fit me in when I had a broken crown even though my registration wasn't current. I was seen almost immediately by Sonya who is always lovely and professional and kind. She sorted me out and I am now able to smile again.

Negative experience: They have terrible service, they keep trying to book someone else in your place and cancel your appointment. The last time they cancelled my appointment I had dental problems and I was in unbearable pain for a whole week and then it started to fester and it became difficult to do it. The first time they cancelled my appointment they didn't know I was uninsured and I was paying 650 pounds. When I went and asked why they cancelled me, they looked at each other and said that they were paying the money. I went through a week of terrible days because of them and now they have cancelled my appointment again and when I call they don't answer.I’m

Positive experience: A week before my appt I received a reminder text. I noticed my appointment had been brought forward,meaning I had to take more time out of work. It would have been nice to have been contacted and asked. On arrival for my appointment I was told I was seeing another dentist and was it OK? As I'd taken time out of work and taken 40mins to get there, I didn't have much choice. Again, a call beforehand would have been nice. I've been at this practice for over 40 years and never had this. Disappointing!

Fantastic experience: Truly a remarkable experience. I walked into the practice on a Friday 4weeks ago with acute toothache, hoping to get an emergency appointment after the weekend. The receptionist (Lindsay) asked what I was doing at that moment, and not doing anything I was ushered into the surgery, examined, diagnoo, X-rayed, tooth extracted and sent on my way. The dentist Sarah and her nurse Kunica were lovely. From walk-in to leaving: 25 minutes. Surely some sort of record for the NHS! Love this practice to bits and feel extremely lucky yo be among their 10,000 patients.

Dr Sonia and Nusrse Shama were exceptional, professional yet still personable with her which made all the difference to her treatment and dignity. . Love this place. Edit in 2024: I've just increased the rating to 5 stars. At a time when access to the dentist is a luxury, this team have gone above and beyond to re-instate our elder onto their list on compassionate grounds. The young lad on reception and the practice manager both listened politely and progressed the matter. Both were very professional and way more understanding than I expected. The dental team were equally brilliant thos morning and did what was required. Thank you from one happy family. Always friendly. Clean and tidy. Easy to get an appointment. Dr Deerij really is good. Her assistant is always smiley and reassuring. Good partnership. Treatment was explained very well. Obviously it was painful then but now I'm pain free. This visit was pre lockdown 2020. 4 stars as there is always room for improvement. But I highly recommend the team at this branch.

Negative experience: No one answers the phone. Always says we're busy and can't take your call right now. I need to book my 6 month appointment and need a tooth looking again. I was advised it was fine on my last visit to you but it isn't. Still no answer after 2 weeks of calling. They have cleared their mailbox now so they are there! STILL CAN'T GET THROUGH! 6 weeks later! Yet they have replied to some of their reviews on Google here a week ago... . I presume they are doing this so they can take NHS patients off the register as they can't get an appointment. Website now under maintenance as well. Hence why peoples appointments have also been cancelled and obviously you can't rebook. You should be struck off being dentists completely when you do this to people. It's taken you 3 months to reply on here to me? As you can see from other peoples reviews, your phoneline antics were deliberate! I have found an amazing private dentist now and will not be coming back to you! I've heard so many horror stories in the meantime about your practice, I wouldn't come back even if I hadn't found another dentist.

Fantastic experience: Hi had really bad toothache and was prescribed anti biotics they then brought the extraction of my tooth forward. The reception team are brilliant and understanding. The dentist explained everything I needed to know post extraction. They made me feel relaxed and I would recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Broke my wisdom tooth and was in pain when i rang the admin team was very helpful, even though they was very busy she managed to get me an appointment for the same day. I brought my very nervous and tearful 6 year old in for her check up and from start to finish everyone she spoke to was kind and managed to make the appointment run as smooth as possible. Fantastic experience: Exceptional service! I called after losing a filling, a lovely lady named Corsa, went above and beyond to get me an appointment as soon as possible. I cannot be more thankful and grateful for the empathy and genuine care she gave for my situation. The world needs more Corsa’s and more dental practices like this one! Fantastic experience: I went into the dentist today as I was near by to book my child an appointment due to swelling to his face Shabnam was really helpful due to not having no appointments for a while she spoken with the dentist Amer who kindly agreed to see my child after his last patient he prescribed him some antibiotics and give him some advice while we await his appointment my child is very scared of the dentist and has been placed on a waiting list to attend the hospital staff hear was absolutely brilliant Koisar who was also on reception was talking to my son and helping him to over come his fear he then agreed for them to book him an appointment to have the tooth removed (I don’t know if he will) but the fact they all made him feel so comfortable to agree in the first place is a massive step 100% from Kousar Shabnam and Amer thank you

Negative experience: Since the covid you have charged the format on how you work, when we finished an app you phoned us up to make a new one nearer the time to have one and obviously you don't now, so I am now off your books and won't take me back in, I have been a patent with you for over 48 years and disgusted on how you treat me hope you are happy on this, it will be advertised on facbook on how you treat old patents and bring new and mainly foreign patents instead of old ones.
I’m ever so sorry that you have had a bad experience with the practice but we have policies we have to adhere too. If you are not seen within 2year unfortunately you get removed from the register. You as a patient have responsibility of calling to book a routine exam to keep your records open and I think 2 year time gap is acceptable.
Fantastic experience: Amer and Shabnam was a great team they went above and beyond taking there time to fix my teeth properly explaining everything as they went along Amer is the first one to take the time to clean and prepare my tooth before fixing it. Thanks alot you two great job done.

Fantastic experience: I have took my children’s yesterday for dental appointment, the dentist with very kind with my children’s specially with my autistic child which is hard to fix his teeth he fixed his tooth very well his front teeth was broken and no dentist like to fix it for him as autistic. And my youngest daughter who was on pain with her teeth with long period his fixed her teeth very will . Thank you to the Arab dentist (AMIR) and the lady was helping him .

Negative experience: The practice used to be good until the new management came in (perhaps a year or so ago). Had to face absolutely rude and insulting behaviour by one of the dentists (won't name here) in November last year. Took up the case with several regulatory bodies and finally managed to get an appointment rebooked with them since the dentist had refused to see the entire family because of the episode in November 2023. And remember, this was NOT as an NHS patient. Gladly moved to a different dentist where we do pay for treatment as well, but are treated with respect. Advice to anyone considering this practice is, PLEASE DON'T if you would like to save your respect and dignity. Advice to the practise is, PLEASE make SIGNIFICANT improvements to your dealings with the patients and please instruct your staff (particularly the dentists) to treat the patients with respect.

Fantastic experience: After 2 years of agony and running about trying to get my sons tooth out. As he needed to be sedated to let a dentist touch him! But she was so understanding and aware of his fear , she was marvellous, it took time but she got it finally out I'm so grateful. 10 out of 10

Fantastic experience: I have LOTS of anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr. Sarah Tariq is amazing! She makes me feel comfortable and is super friendly every time I visit. She explained my treatment plan in detail and has my best interest in mind. She is very professional and takes her time to answer any questions I have. Thank you very much.

All calls are answered promptly please be aware we have over 300 calls a day. You spoke with the practice manager on more than one occasion about your treatment so not sure why the negative feedback was received :)
Negative experience: Don't bother trying to book an appointment as nobody answers the phone. Find a different dentist practice, one that doesn't deliberately ignore its patients.
We would never deliberately ignore any patient our phone lines constantly ring all day and we have qualified receptionists that on a daily basis take over 300 calls have you tried to contact through email?
Negative experience: I regret to say that this dental practice has been a great disappointment to me. In the 60 years of my life, I have never encountered such poor service. They have a concerning pattern of canceling appointments, including three out of the last four scheduled for my six-year-old son's check-ups. The situation is further exacerbated by their unresponsive phone line, which has been faulty for at least six months. It would be beneficial if they could provide a temporary mobile number to ensure patients can still reach them. Given these persistent issues, we have decided to seek a private dentist as we are unable to find an alternative NHS practice. It appears that the owner lacks concern for the well-being of their clients, and I believe their practice should be reevaluated. However, I must acknowledge that the staff members who provide the actual treatment are very helpful and professional.

Fantastic experience: Had my filling done by Dr Sarah Tariq. She was very friendly and professional. Sarah made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure; it was painless and I did not have any problems after. Thank you for a great service.

Negative experience: Spoke to the receptionist today, initially did not pick up the phone for ages and did not respond to my voice mail. Rang again, and the female staff on reception said you are not registered here anymore, you can go to another practice. The staff at reception have poor customer service and extremely rude. Avoid this practice at all costs.
Thank you for your feedback there has been a change in management and staff members. The phones are answered promptly and we offer whatever help is achievable. If you are not on our register there will be a reason for it, we have polices we have to adhere too.

Negative experience: They Canceled my appointment on the day 16th april. Since den been ringing everyday cant get thru left so many messages but still have not got back to me its ridiculus been in queue position 4 for over 11mins.

Negative experience: Never answer the phone or return a call when you leave a message, cancel appointments last minute. Best way to get rid of the NHS patients to concentrate on the private. Used to be a very good dental practice.
Thank you for your feedback. Our phone systems have been upgraded and so has our staffing and management. Unfortunately appointments do get cancelled due to sickness, holidays, training etc… We are a mixed practice we see private and NHS patients. Feel free to call us ;)
Negative experience: Removed my mum who is 82 , as a patient without telling her because she had not been for 2 years - even though when she rang after Covid for an appointment, she was told it was emergency only!! Disgusting service. She had been going to the dentist on Branch Road since she was 15 too.

Negative experience: Appalling dentist. Cancels appointments last minute by text message. Never answers their phone or responds to emails. Get a different dentist every time. Had a filling and it fell out 2 hours later. never been compensated for this as can't get hold of them to rearrnage an appointment. Really unprofessional.
Negative experience: Canceling appointments all the time. My daughter have dental problems and they Cancel appointment for dental check what we been waiting for around month. Then I booked again appointment because they cancel, we been waiting again a month and they said on that appointment after checking that I need to make another appointment then I booked an appointment and check another month for them to cancel appointment again. Then they wrote message to book an another appointment and they didn't answer the phone and I left message to book an appointment again. But they didn't answer and nothing. I'm very disappointed that you treating children with dental problems like that. Is not fair to cancel all the time appointment and waiting few months for you to do anything. Probably again my daughter need to have a pain with her teeth and fever to call 111 and ask them to find dentist who will take a care of my daughter teeth because you dont care about your patients and canceling appointments all the time and not helping with a teeth.

Positive experience: Everything is good but it's just they sometimes don't answer the phone and literally ignore it.
