Fantastic experience: Muhammad is brilliant always treats people with respect and fast at his job he doesn’t mess around he gets things done brilliant n dentist couldn’t recommend anymore 10 stars

Negative experience: Was seen to as an emergency with a broken tooth. Managed to stick it back together and was told it would last along time. In reality it lasted less than 3 hours. Not impressed

Negative experience: Receptionist’s need complete training in customer service and the way they talk to patients that visit this dental surgery DENTIST was AMAZING on my visit but reception staff rude and not friendly. Service with a smile wouldn’t go a miss.

Negative experience: It is near impossible to get through to anyone, I have been on the phone and in the so called queue 5 times this morning, gets to around 14 minutes and just cuts off. Its a terrible service it really is.

Negative experience: Worse dentist ever. You can never get through on phone, they constantly put phone down on you when you get to number 1 in que. Dentist we always see is rude and blunt. No care for children that need emergency treatment. My boys been on a waiting list for almost 2 year and wev not heard anything so i rang up last week and theyv had to put him back on waiting

Negative experience: Good actual dentist. Only issue I have is I can NEVER book an appointment over the phone. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS! I have called 10 times since 9am this morning. Each call lasting 15 minutes on hold (while at the front of the queue) 50% of the time, I get pushed to a busy tone, 50% of the time, nothing ever happens and I never get answered. Only times I have EVER managed to get an appointment is wasting my fuel to drive down to book in person. what is the point of a phone system that has a queue, that can push you to a BUSY LINE! or never push at all....

Fantastic experience: Good all round service from start to finish even a call to make sure I was coming on Saturday 3pm lady's what helped me an extracted my tooth very professional an polite and no pain at all in capable hands be coming back again thank you very much for the pleasant experience

Positive experience: The staff (dentist and assistant were amazing can just highly recommend) but receptionists have huge room for improvement. I was there few times. Once they told me to wait downstairs in waiting room, than after 40min of waiting I asked how long it take (as I was with newborn) and suddenly ladies were surprised 'why I missed my appointment upstairs'...other time when I asked about first registration for my husband I heard that he'll have to wait 6 weeks for first appointment, next patient with the same question heard that they don't take new patients until new year, few minutes later (when I was filling the form) other patient get first appointment in next few days... so I'm not sure if its kind of lottery, or competition 'if receptionists will like you they will help'...

Fantastic experience: Dr din looked after me again today he makes you feel comfortable and explains everything to you also is a pleasant guy good personality talks to you like your one of his friends which helps u relax been with him years wouldn’t want to go anywhere else

Negative experience: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Absolutely shocking experience. We came to South Elmsall Family Dental Centre for an emergency dental appointment our first ever visit. Upon arrival, we checked in at reception and were told go to second door on right and to go and wait upstairs. So we did we didn't even know there was an upstairs. After been here 45 mins I asked about the q hour parking out front as was worried about a ticket so I moved car was told parking warden doesn't come often but I still moved car. Them ater sitting there for 1 hour and 15 mins past appointment time an assistant finally asked for my partner’s name as she was curious as to why we hadn't been seen upstairs, only to tell us we were meant to be downstairs the entire time. Even worse, the receptionist then denied we had ever checked in, despite the fact they were the ones who told us where to wait. Because of this mix-up, the dentist my partner was supposed to see had already gone home. No apology were offered at all! They eventually managed to get us seen by someone else, but the whole situation was an absolute disgrace. Zero communication, no accountability, and we were left feeling completely let down during an already stressful time. Avoid this place if you expect basic organisation or professionalism. And to top all this off the receptionist was happy enough to question my partner on leaving our appointment as we were in just for 5 mins to question what she had had done Infront of other clients and people in the building which is a breech of patient confidentiality! NHS need to investigate this practice and stop them accepting emergency patients completely!

Negative experience: No one answers the phone, can’t even make an appointment! Absolutely shocking. They also cancel appointments and ask you to call to rebook but again no one answers the phone!!

Negative experience: Male dentist (didnt get his name but im assuming Dr Din - can be seen on the websites photos) was extremely rude during my extraction, refused me numbing spray when id asked twice, ragged my mouth with clear frustration and then refused my request to keep my tooth when I mentioned my last dentist allowed me I got a "well theyre alot nicer than I am" Sat in my car and sobbed honestly. What a horrible man.

Negative experience: Tried calling multiple times (16 times), over 1 week to be left on hold for over 15 minutes even though I was 1st in line to then get the dial tone to ring off. How are we supposed to book appointments if the receptionist won't answer calls.

Negative experience: Tried ringing up three times to get an appointment they kept me on hold for over 20 minutes each time. Can’t seem to answer the phone. I was even at the front of the queue

Negative experience: My husband attended today as an emergency patient and had his tooth filled. Upon arriving home not 45 minutes later, the filling fell out. Rang 111 only to be offered another appointment at the same practice tomorrow, but he has no confidence in the standard if dentistry he received. So not only is he £27 out of pocket he now has to suffer until he can contact his own dental practice on Monday. We certainly wouldn't recommend this practice not even in an emergency. Whoever the receptionist was, with the pearly pink hair, also needs to brush up on her customer service skills, very rude and off hand.

Negative experience: Absolutely diabolical I will be writing an official complaint to the NHS. Been trying to call them for two days.

Negative experience: Shocking on the 11th of April I booked a appointment for the 13th of June only to be told 2 days before by text it was rearranged for 29th July I went in to ask why and ignorant reception team told me it was cancelled because off emergency appointments terrible service. And then told to ring back tomorrow to try and get an appointment.

Negative experience: Dreadful! What was once an excellent dental practice has been reduced to a complete shambles. The dentists are ok, what a shame the same can't be said for the ignorant reception team. I needed to cancel an appointment due to ill health. Unfortunately, the staff seemingly only answer if they feel like it, they then proceed to cut you off without reason despite you being held in a queue forever. The receptionists are an altogether weak link in an otherwise excellent practice. When waiting in the reception area we were shocked to overhear them speaking and giggling in a derogatory manner about a client, disgusting! My husband and I would absolutely NOT recommend this dental surgery under any circumstances, having both had a significant amount of problems with the desk staff. This practice does accept N.H.S. patients, though if you are a private patient then we recommend you opt for a practice where the reception team understand the importance of both courtesy and competence at all times.

Fantastic experience: I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Mohammed and Natalie for their outstanding work. The teeth cleaning and scaling, as well as the sandblasting, were performed with incredible care and professionalism. They are both very gentle, thorough, and truly dedicated to their patients. I felt completely comfortable and well taken care of throughout the whole process. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: How incredibly rude to answer the phone, stay silent while I’m saying hello, and then hang up — all while laughing and chatting in the background, clearly because it’s close to closing time. My daughter urgently needed an appointment today or tomorrow, which would have been a well-paid service. To the owner: your staff just lost you a paying client. You might want to seriously reconsider who’s representing your business at the front desk, because they’re clearly not interested in doing the job.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth removed today at this dentist. Dentist clean staff friendly. The lady dentist reassured me explained everything. Quick procedure caring attitude highly recommended

Negative experience: My wife had her teeth deep cleaning about 5 moths ago was in extremely bad pain after left with lumps of plaque on bottom teeth side of face was swollen bad head pain under eye on that side hard to eat at that side one tooth that was slightly sensitive is even more so she felt like she had been ina boxing match took us ages to get a nhs dental appointment ,wish we had kept looking.

Fantastic experience: I visited the dental clinic this morning and was seen by Dr. Salma Haybe. Having had many dental visits over the years, I must say that this was the first time I received an excellent consultation prior to treatment. Dr. Haybe took the time to listen to my reasons for attending the clinic and asked many questions before examining my teeth. She then completed a very thorough assessment before suggesting a treatment plan. She asked if I wanted to proceed with the plan there and then, which I did, and she commenced the treatment, explaining everything along the way and checking to ensure I was comfortable. It was a pleasure to visit her for my treatment. I left the clinic feeling really pleased with all of the services, from the front desk staff to the dentist herself. I think other dental practices could learn a lot from this clinic. Many thanks for the pleasant experience today!

Negative experience: Attended for an emergency 111 appointment on a tooth that had already had 2 courses of antibiotics over the last 3 weeks. Was 30 mins late going in, dentist was abrupt and could barely understand a word he said. Hit me 3 times with his tool on an infected tooth to ask if it hurt. Took an xray but didn't even look at it then asked me what I actually wanted. When I questioned whether I needed antibiotics, he said not sure but can have some if I want or he could just pull it out there and then. Needless to say, I was not letting him do this and asked for antibiotics when he then asked what antibiotics I wanted?? Barked orders at me about signing something on a tablet. I had no idea where this tablet was, had to search around to find it on the side in the room. Appointment was less than 5 minutes long and I've no idea whether I need the antibiotics or not. On the plus side, the lady on reception was lovely and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start ... I dint like going to the dentist like most people . I've been under the care of Dr Din for a while . All I can say is he makes you feel at ease from the first moment you attend. Brilliant dentist I would recommend him to anyone . He's just a lovely man . Thank u Dr Din for your care

Negative experience: Total rubbish my son been registered 7 years having check ups get told all fine had a resent filling got infected couldn't get another appointment so took him to a private one to been told the tooth that was filled is done wrong and needs a root canal because the root is dead and all his teeth at thin witch we have not been told they don't care I am looking into legal advice over a £1000 down due to the lack of care from this dentist and my son is 17 years old

Positive experience: Usually very good experiences with this dentist....however, on my last visit in September, I had a scrape and Polish...the dentist has kept quiet about breaking one of my teeth, which I am very disgruntled about as it was a PERFECTLY healthy tooth....I did think the dentist was going way too hard at my teeth at the time as it was painful on some teeth.....it seems the only good care you get these days is if you're paying over the odds....I now have a painful broken back tooth that probably will never be the same again.

Negative experience: To Dr ruba Yasmin dentist and her assistant however concerned.I visited the centre Thursday the 10 of October I lt was my very first time with NHS DENTIST I can tell you it will be my last time first reaction is rushing you about ,give u the most easy advice to them , was offered to remove my tooth and advice to see private dentist!!!, all thought it could just be clean from inside??!!I had to refused i asked for my tooth to be cleaned as that was best practice then removing my tooth I can see the dentist and her colleague hopping and puffing as there were not happy it seem to me they wanted to go home early after that felt so uncomfortable with this dentist as she keep repeating I can do half job only ,can’t do it ,you need to go to private dentist and I asked if this treatment she was about to apply on me was good for my tooth she said I don’t know I don’t know I don’t know. immediately stop her from touching my tooth I cancel the so called cowboy treatment and had to leave … i really and specially want to let know this dentist and her colleague if you don’t like ur job don’t do it I’ve paid for my NHS CONTRIBUTION ALL MY LIFE people deserve better attitude Care and experience. Summarising my visit don’t go there except treatment you will only get half rushed treatment done to you will never trust someone with my health going there .

Fantastic experience: Reluctant to go as like most people, I'm scared of the dentists! However, Dr Din was very friendly and funny! He put me at ease, and the extraction was less than 10 seconds. The experience unlike many I've had before, was pleasant, quick and pretty much painless!

Fantastic experience: Honestly the nicest place I've been. Mohammed Din, never made me feel like my teeth are bad. He listened to my concerns about my front tooth and agreed to take it out no questions asked! Not only did he take it out but he fitted me with a denture so I didn't have a gap when I smile. Fantastic experience: i had to go here for an emergency tooth removal. having read some of the reviews i was quite nervous and having a phobia of the dentist made me feel even worse. However i was greeted with a warm welcome and when it was my turn to be seen the dentist Nav was very courteous and friendly. i explained my phobia and what i had come for and from the start he was very kind as was his assistant. He took his time with me and explained everything that was happening and let me compose myself whenever i was scared. overall i would recommend this place, yes it does have negative comments but my experience was excellent.

Fantastic experience: Went today for an emergency appointment was absolutely terrified but Mohammed I think he was called (upstairs room) was absolutely fantastic gave me options of treatment I chose to have tooth removed as was badly broken and was causing pain. Tooth was removed that fast I wasn’t even aware it was over with. Fab dentist. Negative experience: This dentist has cost for £1800 in repairs to my teeth I have holes from missing fillings after 2 months my gums consistently bleed and was told there was nothing wrong with them to find out my gum is damaged I have to have tooth out at the front as it’s now wobbly! Before I started going here there was nothing wrong with my tooth other than a few fillings! I am in the process of seeking legal advice as the lady dentist upstairs shouldn’t have a job she’s making teeth worse!!

Fantastic experience: After a 111 referral from having an abscess and in agony. I went to see Dr Din, he was very professional, and put me it ease straight away. Gave me a prescription for anti biotics and made another appointment for an extraction of the tooth. Came back for the extraction 10 days later and unfortunately the infection hadn't completely gone. He numbed my mouth which didn't work at first so had to have 5 injections all together. He removed the tooth and gave me another course of antibiotics. Also if you ever read these, I apologise for biting your finger . Would definitely recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: I'd give no stars if I could. This review is for a few months ago I was a NHS patient and a very scared one. The lady up stairs was awful she didn't belive me when I said I could still feel the pain. And got very moody and snappy with me saying il inject you one more time. That made my anxiety even more worse. She pulled my tooth with my abses and I have never felt pain like it when I left the surgery. I even had to pull over wile driving home. I had to come back for more treatment because of the abses. She scratched my gum with needle witch left it cut. I still to this day am absolutely petrified because of how I was treated here. So now I pay because I feel that was the issue and I go to a dentist that really helps me and appreciates my fear

Fantastic experience: What can I say, been with this dentist since it opened. The staff on reception are so good at what they do. They are friendly, welcoming, whilst remaining professional. Dr Din the dentist, as I call him. what can I say. He’s the best and has looked after me and my problematic teeth. He is excellent, and has a warm friendly nature. He puts you at ease. Well done to all the team and thank you for looking after me. Highly recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I came here for an emergency appointment. I have a phobia when it comes to dentistry and more often than not I end up a blubbering mess. Which is how this visit typically started. It isn't how it finished though. Dr Khan and her lovely assistant were fantastic. Very reassuring, very informative, firm yet very patient. I left with a huge weight off my shoulders, my problem identified and next steps given. Huge huge thank you for helping make this easy! If I can register here I will be making sure I do. Fantastic experience: I attended today for an urgent NHS referral because I had badly broken one of my molars. The surgery was clean and tidy, and the staff were great. In particular, the dentist, herself, was great. She was pleasant and compassionate, but also honest. I ended up opting for an extraction and she talked me through the process, before starting the procedure, to ensure I felt safe and relaxed. She also reassured me by stating that she was very experienced and competent at tackling even the most complex extractions. The extraction was done well and quickly. I left feeling (understandably) sore, but very well looked after. Thank you so much.

Negative experience: Very rude staff , I would not recommend the dentist practice very unprofessional. They messed up with appointments several time.

Negative experience: Was treated nicely till they realised I was an NHS emergency appointment through 111 not a private patient, the mood in the room fell flat. The dentist started to seem more bothered about getting me out of there. Yes the tooth was extracted but I've seen butchers care for the meat better then this place does NHS patients. They didn't even check the work after just stuck a gorse in my month and said follow the instructionson that paper with the coldest see you later I've ever seen. Less then 24hrs later I had to make another emergency call to 111 for some antibiotics as my face has ballooned with an infection and I'm not going to get another appointment till after new year now. If you're an NHS patient, look elsewhere because they don't seem to care unless you have deep pockets. Edit update: it's now been 3 weeks since I had the tooth extracted, the swelling and infection have now gone thanks to 111. There is still a large chuck of the roots still stuck in my gums just under the surface that's now starting to heal over and I've been referred to the dental hospital in Leeds as I'm going to need to be sedated for the work that now needs doing thanks to South Elmsall Family dental clinic botching the tooth extraction.

Fantastic experience: Rang up to get my daughter an emergency appointment, spoke to Elaine who listened carefully to the problem and was very professional and friendly and got me an appointment straight away. The dentist Jose was very good with my daughter and put her at ease and so did the dental nurses as my daughter is a very nervous patient. The receptionists and dentists are very professional and friendly. 5 star review to them.
