Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Brandlesholme Dentistry enough. After discovering i had been removed from the list of my NHS dentist after covid, where I had been a patient since a child (over 30yrs) I began the search for a new dentist and BD was recommended. The treatment I've received each and every time has been superb. The difference between them and my previous surgery is enormous. I feel very lucky to have Michael as my dentist - clearly very experienced, knowledgeable, with a very professional and welcoming manner. He puts you completely at ease. Many of my family and friends are now patients, and have all shared the same experiences.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had an ongoing issue with toothache the last couple of months & had a treatment plan completed with Imogen. She’s a great dentist, who’s extremely skilled & compassionate. She explained all my options clearly & allowed me to make an informed decision. I’ve been a patient at this practice for many years & have found all the staff to be friendly & helpful. They try very hard to accommodate you if urgent treatment is needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Called with an 8 year old who was severely traumatised at a previous dentist.m, but who had been in pain. The dentist we saw was so good with him, and they fitted him in within the hour. He’s bow happily playing at the park across the road and even said ‘it wasn’t as bad as the last one’ which is high praise grom a child who told me he’d rather eat dog poo than go to the dentist on the way there.

Fantastic experience: I am someone who is extremely nervous of going to the dentist but I was made to feel so calm here. Everything is explained and they really care for your welfare. Definitely a far cry from previous experiences I have had elsewhere. Very impressed.

Negative experience: Starting to get a little frustrated with appointments being cancelled both dentist and hygienist. Then having to fight to get an appointment close to the same date and not a further 2 months down the line. I’m on payment plan and last time an appointment was cancelled they tried offering me both my yearly check-ups a month apart from each other.

Fantastic experience: Rebecca at Brandlesome dentistry is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. She has been so thorough in checking my teeth and very quick to book me in to fix the issues, she is very friendly and really explains the process thoroughly. Really down to earth lady who makes you feel at ease. Thank you so much! I must also add my 8 year old autistic child has been seeing Hafsah for a while now and she’s very gentle and kind which has really eased my child into coming to the dentist. The stickers off the reception staff (who are also very kind to her) are a big hit! All the staff are lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Fantastic experience: Imogen did a cracking job with my Invisalign. No discomfort at all! Would 100% recommend Imogen to anyone thinking of getting Invisalign!

Negative experience: My old dentist moved offices, so I was a new patient at Brandleshome. The staff were friendly and polite, but unfortunately that doesn't get the job done. Usually I only need 1 injection when it comes to anesthetics, but after 2 injections during a filling, and I was still in quite a bit of pain. Eventually, the dentist asked me if I could soldier through as we were almost done... honestly, I became quite wary of dentists since that experience. After that, I noticed that my gum was frequently irritated between the gap where the filling was done, and my healthy tooth. My new dentists (elsewhere), has informed me that the filling had CAUSED bacteria to accumulate, and needed to be redone. In other words, I suffered through the pain for nothing, and even paid for it... My new dentist has done the job without any issues, and surprise, surprise - needed only 1 injection. Overall, I had practically spent £300 for a filling in a single tooth. Ridiculous. Thank you for nothing, guys!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful practice, cannot recommend highly enough. My dental needs are quite complex and ongoing, requiring both natural teeth and denture attention. Matt, my dentist, and James, the denture guru (as I call him) work so efficiently in tandem, to ensure the end result is the best it can be. I had an extraction today, which was completely pain and anxiety free, and James completed the necessary denture addition immediately. Fantastic in every way and my sincere thanks to them and all the team.

Positive experience: Everybody in the dentist is very friendly, good service. My general check ups and my hygienist appointments are always separate though which isn't ideal having to book half a day off work 4 times a year for the dentist. There's always a lot of forms to fill out every time I go also. Overall a good experience for a dentist.

Positive experience: I have always been very pleased with the treatment I've received from the dentist and hygienist. They have always been very respectful, caring and thorough. However, today I've just received yet another cancellation of an appointment in a few days time. I have had quite a number of cancellations in the past and it now seems that the appointments are as likely to be cancelled as not! My husband has also had quite a few cancellations! It has now got very annoying! I like to think I'm a reasonable person, and I understand that sometimesdentists can be ill, or other unforseen events can mean an appointment has to be re arrange, but comparing my experience with other appointments i make it is a far more frequent occurrence at your practice. For this reason I've given 4 stars rather than 5.

Positive experience: The reception staff are really friendly and helpful and the care I've received has always been good but the dentists and hygienists seem to change a lot so you can often feel like you are starting again. Just as you build a relationship with one they leave which isn't great if you are nervous about attending the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have just had a badly broken tooth extracted at Brandlesholme Dentistry. James explained the procedure to me in detail before extracting the tooth. Everything went as expected and I didn't feel a thing. Thank you very much to James and the excellent dental nurse (sorry, I don't know her name).

Matt the dentist I have seen is excellent , I never felt anything even at point of injecting , he is patient and kind . Just a shame there is now no access to NHS dentist but that isn’t the dentists fault

Matt was brilliant from the start to finish - super friendly, knowledgable, reassuring and always wanted to make sure I was comfortable and understood the whole process/ what was going on/ what the next step was. Something I was worried about was the price and any hidden costs but everything was explained and transparent to me from my initial consultation onwards, no hidden costs or surprise instalments further down the line which I really appreciated. I’m so happy with my teeth, Matt really listened to me and what I wanted out of my Invisalign/ composite bonding experience. Also thanks to Danielle who did my scans and I saw throughout my trips, so friendly and lovely :) and all the other staff! Overall I couldn’t recommend enough - thanks so much!
