Fantastic experience: I recommend this practice, it had friendly staff, is a lovely well maintained building, and managed to fit me in quickly when I needed a semi-urgent appointment. Sam the dentist was really friendly, professional, and polite and explained everything really well during the procedure. I felt really at ease throughout.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place and people ,phoned up at 9.45 am to see if they are accepting under 18s on nhs was told yes ,given an appointment within the hour ,the dentist Mo was so lovely and explained everything to us and was really good with my son even though he’s 17 ,the reception staff were so polite and helpful from the phone call to arriving for our appointment,wish I’d known about this place before now

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Ilkley dental care, it is immaculately clean, the staff are so friendly and have given me the best care and advice, I hope to achieve my dream smile with them soon. I especially loved that the head Hygienist gave me breaks between cleaning my teeth so my mouth wasn’t filling with water . Great job guys ❤️

Fantastic experience: Gopilka and Jodie are the perfect hygienist team. I have previously found visits to the dentist unsettling and painful. But not these two! Gopilka is very careful around my gums and sensitive teeth. Jodie works diligently in sync. I didn’t even have to jiggle my feet to manage anxiety. I was totally relaxed. They are the dream team.

Fantastic experience: I Hadn’t visited a dentist before this so was rather nervous however everyone was very kind and clearly and efficiently guided me through my treatment. In the end I’m glad I came and would recommend this dentist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Today was an emergency apt and I saw Fiona, who isn’t my usual dentist. She was so lovely. She welcomed me into the room, introduced herself and her nurse, then explained to me what she was going to do. She understood just how nervous I was and got her nurse to hold my hand. They were both so kind and kept talking to me throughout, which really helped with my breathing and also helped me to relax. Yes, I will still be nervous about the dentist! But a lot less nervous after today. Coins also explained how I might feel after the numbing injection wore off, which was very reassuring as I did experience some of the symptoms she described and was able to follow her advice without worrying something was wrong. 10/10. I cannot recommend Acorn Villas enough. Their reception staff are also all so kind and friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to say a big thank you to Sam & the team at Ilkley Dental practice who made my first filling appointment in over 30 years an easy and pain free experience. I was talked through every stage of the process and the end result is excellent. I recently had tooth whitening (again with Sam) with exceptional results and a front filling was very yellow in comparison but now you can’t even see where it is! So happy with my bright, white teeth & would definitely recommend 5*

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently moved to this practice as I needed root canal treatment. I originally went for a second opinion but was really impressed and decided to leave my old dental practice and join Ilkley Dental Centre. I am really happy so far! Especially when I needed emergency treatment, they were able to fit me in the next day. Everything is very professional and I feel that I can trust and rely on my new dentist.

Positive experience: Ilkley Acorn villas. Arrived 5 mins before appointment and filled in on an IPad .medical details. First hurdle. Then was not told the hygienist was going to be late...23 mins late. Due to Ilkley parking restrictions I had to move my car because of time. I returned to the practice and was told the hygienist would see me straight away...but she and 2 others were chatting. Eventually I was taken in. Her treatment was very good and gentle. I then was called to go upstairs to see the dentist. The young dental nurse showed me the way calling me " darling".. Very patronising behaviour. I a Sure she meant well but patients are not her 'darlings°'. Summary..a more professional approach is required at Acorn villas.

From the moment I step into the clinic, I am always greeted with warm smiles and kindness from the receptionists, who go out of their way to make every visit seamless and stress-free. Their professionalism and friendliness instantly put me at ease. Fiona is simply amazing—gentle, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. Fantastic experience: Incredibly good firm for making appointments readily available, for skilful treatment and for amazing empathy from Dentists, Dental Assistants and Reception colleagues too. Mo and his Dental Assistant in particular are superb.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Acorn Dental Practice for maybe 20 years. Have always had an exceptionally good experience with both Dentists, dental nurses and Receptionists. Well done everyone. The only downside is that in the last couple of years, I haven’t been able to see the same dentist - but that’s not a real problem (would just like to be settled with one). Update - I visited Neelam today , was a breath of fresh air to have someone so kind.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited with my Son. We had excellent service from start to finish. The receptionist were friendly, Lauren is new but is already efficient and helpful with enquiries. The dentist and nurse were very thorough and explained things to my son brilliantly. We were seen quickly all in all a very smooth appointment.

Negative experience: I'm sure this practice offers and delivers a good provision of dental services - but I wouldn't know as it is let down, utterly, by awful administrative practice and poor customer service. I have attempted to make appointments on three separate occasions, each of which was cancelled at rather short notice with no excuse and instructions to call back and rebook. This is painful given appointments need to be booked well in advance and, for those of us who work the same hours, (0830-1730) almost impossible when my job affords me very little time to make outside calls. I don't have the time, patience or inclination to keep trying and will be seeking another dentist.

It’s very efficient and organised and the whole team are very friendly and kind, making you feel at ease when you are sat in the chair. They give valuable advice and guidance on oral care and how to look after your teeth. 5 stars from me

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I walked into this dentist after a cancellation for an emergency appointment from my own dentist. The compassion and professionalism I received through every stage was outstanding. It was clear from the atmosphere in the reception waiting area that the staff cared for their patients and that the patients felt this. The staff seemed very happy to be working here and that has enabled this strong foundation of value to transpire through to the patients. Lisa and Richard greeted me at reception and booked me in in an instant. Later they remembered my name when I returned later that day. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I recently moved dentists from a practice in Otley. The comparison from the reception staff from there to Lisa and Richard made me realise that I should have moved much sooner. My dental nurse Cesca was calm, knowledgeable and empathetic. What a marvellous team and a truly fabulous practice.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my hygienist appointment. The appointment lasted than 5 mins and cost £80. She said my teeth were clean and she couldn’t see anything. The scaler is there to check under the gums..to check places she cannot see which she didn’t even bother to use. She didn’t check my gums with the periodontal lobe and advice. No advice on oral hygiene or even give at least some free toothpaste samples. Very clear this practice is focused on making money and not on providing quality patient care. Plus she only polished the front teeth on the top and bottom and not all of my teeth. I felt scammed. I should have refused to pay or spoke to a manager about this poor level of service. M. Lucas

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Acorn Dental practice for the last 40 years and have seen many changes over the years. Some good and some not so good! However my experience at the practice over the last 12 months has been superb. My dentist Kiran and his colleague Trish are professional, hardworking and both have a great ‘chair side manner’. I think it would be difficult for anyone to describe a trip to the dentists as ‘enjoyable’, I am however far more enthusiastic about attending appointments than I have ever been. Long may it continue Ps - Richard on reception was also a credit to the practice - a very helpful chap.

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 root fillings, an implant and a veneer/crown recently. All good, although the crown was a replacement for a previous failure. Staff are always pleasant and do their best to deliver when urgent treatment is needed, as it often is with me.
