Fantastic experience: This is the only Dental Practice i use and i would recommend it with with 5 stars, the desk staff super welcoming, the Practice immaculate, i cant praise it enough, TRY IT OUT FOR YOURSELF, YOU ""WONT "" BE DISAPPOINTED , AND OF COURSE I CAN'T LEAVE OUT MY DENTIST ""JOHN WALKER"" TOP BLOKE and A SUPER DENTIST.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Skye Dental team who responded to my chipped tooth with speed. Jill on reception made an immediate appointment next day for Thomas, dental therapist, who assessed tooth & conferred with my dentist John MacGregor who agreed course of action. Thinking I would need to come back another day I was delighted to learn Thomas had space to fix tooth there & then. Himself & Andrea were considerate & procedure was swift. Thank you all for your response & see you for usual check up in Dec!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend John walker :) very friendly and patient. My son has additional support needs so was abit wary of how my son may have reacted or behaved. John went above and beyond taking his time and playing around with my son trying to make his experience less scary and more fun x

Fantastic experience: Great dentist, great hygienist. I’m a “nervous passenger”, so I really appreciate the extra care they take. Staff on reception are friendly and helpful too. Can’t fault this place. Updated 18.09.25: different hygienist and assistant to last time. Both young women are just as understanding and knowledgeable as the previous practitioners. New “warm water” cleaning methods feels gentler. Happy to stay with this team.

Fantastic experience: Just had new lower denture fitted everything going great so far

Fantastic experience: The inside of my lower left lip and mouth was bruised and I still have pain when I drink tea or coffee. I don't take very hot drinks but but my tepid drinks still affect my lower left lip and mouth. I'm unable to photograph this.

Fantastic experience: Amazing practice! Mr McGregor and the hygienist, Thomas go above and beyond at appointments. Dental nurses and reception staff are always lovely and very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Been attending this surgery for over ten years . Super easy to deal with . Levels of care are outstanding. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: AVOID AVOID AVOID.... Used to be lovely, has gone down hill since the new receptionist arrived. The WORST customer service and experience ever. You now have to pay 50% of future treatments in advance. There is zero politeness or customer care, just general unkindness. "If you want another appointment just pay - STOP asking why" Clearly it feels like Skye Dental is only concerned about hording cash and up-selling treatments. In the past when I have seen businesses do this they often go out of business pretty quickly - being rude and demanding advanced payments for a rude service not yet provided is a quick way togo. I am delighted to be leaving them after 10 years and saving the long drive. Good Luck

Fantastic experience: I visited Skye Dental Practice in Burnside for a hygenist visit with Thomas Fenton and i was very impressed i learned a few basic points on how to clean my teeth properly and its just the start of a new routine for me to help me as i have gagging issues resulting in not so great gums!! I even bought myself a new electric tooth brush This together with my patient dentist John Walker, its a great dental practice!! Can highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I had an issue with upper gums. I phoned to see if someone could see me. Was pleased that I could be seen after lunch. I appreciate the practice is very busy and was grateful that Mr Walker could see me. He identified the issue, prescribed antibiotics and confirmed an appointment for root canal treatment. I was given a detailed estimate for treatment. All in all Skye Dental provided an excellent service. Very much appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
