Fantastic experience: I recently had a wisdom tooth removed after developing a small hole that was trapping food and gradually getting larger, putting me at risk of exposing the nerve or developing an abscess. I was clearly advised of the risks but never pushed into either extracting it or leaving it in — everything was explained calmly and professionally. On the day, the team were friendly, supportive, and talked me through the whole procedure, which really put me at ease. I barely felt it being pulled out, totally pain free and was fortunate that it was a very straightforward extraction. The aftercare process was also explained clearly, including what to expect during healing. I couldn’t believe how quick it all was - I was out of the treatment room and back in my car within 15 minutes! Very good value for money at around £105, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Fantastic experience: I visited on Tuesday 1st April to see Mark. I was early but Mark saw me straight away. I spoke to him about the difficulties I was experiencing with my dentures and he was able to point me in the right direction as to what to do until I see him for a realignment in June.

Positive experience: Very pleasant staff made to feel very welcome was taken through the whole treatment with full explanation of what and why everything was being done all questions were answered succinctly. Happy with visit.

The dentist put me at ease and gave me a thorough check up. He went through all the options with me, talking them through and giving an indication of cost. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I visited Giles at Aspire Dental early September after years of not visiting a dentist. It’s safe to say they are not my favourite of places but it was time I started taking care of my teeth. Giles was very calm but more importantly was informative right from day one. He explained everything in detail, was firm but fair with me and didn’t make me feel humiliated in any way. My plan has been broken down into manageable chunks and every visit since (I’m now on my third, fourth coming up!) my experience has been great. I’m kicking myself for not visiting sooner and that is something that I thought I would never say. Would highly recommend the practice and Giles to anyone.

Fantastic experience: A pleasure, from beginning to end : ) A lovely Lady, let me in and showed me to a seat. Before long, Giles invited me into the Surgery. A very efficient examination followed and tremendously good advice. The Dental Nurse, was friendly and supportive too. The Receptionist Lady, was efficient, patient and interesting to talk to. Making the whole experience, an absolute pleasure : ) I highly recommend these amazing people.

Negative experience: Buyer Beware, MOST PAINFUL EXTRACTION EVER. I first went to this practice in January, I was experiencing some discomfort in a tooth, the dentist took an x-ray and said I had some decay under the tooth,I asked if he could take it out, he said no and that he would "tidy it up". He removed a filling did some work on it and put a new filling in,my tooth took about four weeks to settle down and was fine for a while. A few months later it started playing up again, I went back to him in October . I pre-booked an appointment. At the appointment he suggested removing the tooth,and would I like to make another appointment to have it removed,as i was already there I asked him could he not take it out while I was sat in the chair. He seemed put out at this as he said he would have to juggle his next appointment around me. He injected me with anaesthetic and sent me out to the waiting area while he dealt with another patient. I went back in and he started to extract my tooth,it was painful and I tried to explain this but he told me it was pressure,it wasn't, it was pure pain! He hadn't put enough anaesthetic in,I then started to choke on a bit of tooth ,I was tapping his arm and telling him to stop I was choking he just carried on, luckily I swallowed the bit of tooth.when I went to pay he charged me for an emergency appointment when it was pre-booked,this Guy only seems interested in your wallet and not your well being.Ask for a price list before you have any work done,have a nice day!!!

Fantastic experience: I've seen a few dentists in my 62 years both NHS and private. I am so glad I found this dentist. It is obvious that Giles takes pride in his work. Had my second filling on front tooth ( it's been filled 3 times as it discolours and could always see the filling). Today I cant see the filling, my tooth looks normal. Super happy and my faith is 100% in the service received here. All staff are friendly and professional.

Fantastic experience: As a dental phobic it had been over 35 years since I visited a dentist. This was because the last one I visited was a butcher I had to get an appointment with a dentist so I could take some medication for the cancer I was being treated for. I met Mark Tinker and he immediately put me at ease, he was kind and thoughtful and I have no problem seeing him again. I have to have further treatments but I am not frightened anymore. Fantastic experience: Recently broke part of one of my front teeth so wasn’t sure whether the remaining piece would have to come out or whether it could be repaired. I had to wait a few weeks to be able to see Giles but this was not a problem on this occasion as I was not suffering any pain. Giles made a swift assessment and said it could be repaired and an excellent job was completed in just over half an hour. Feels better and more robust that the old tooth so all I can say, great job done and many thanks. A********

Negative experience: A consultation 4 x rays and a tooth which I pointed out was starting to give me concern was basically ignored in favour of a missing filling that caused no concern. 3 days later I called to say the tooth had flared up and needed antibiotics and then attention. Was told to book "another consultation" more xrays and pay for the antibiotics? I told them I had only had this done 3 days ago. Practise manager said thats all they would do. Left with tooth ache over holidays. May be cheaper than anyone else but you pay here in the long run at this practise. One has to wonder at the ratings I cannot be the only one?

Fantastic experience: I have found Aspire Dental to be an excellent dentist. Giles, who I see there, always explains in advance. everything he is planning to do and why, so I know what is happening and can say how I feel about it. He also has always been very efficient and, once he knows I am confident and ok with whatever work is needed, if any, he just gets on with it, so I don't seem to be in the chair any longer than needed. Constantly makes sure you are ok and as a previously nervous patient from my previous dentist, has helped to restore my confidence in going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I booked online, in the evening, after suffering pain for three days. I was surprised to immediately get an appointment for the next afternoon. It was my first time at Aspire Dental, as the dental practice I have used for almost fifty years is closing, and I couldn’t get an appointment. Giles and his team were warm and welcoming; explaining every step of the process of x-raying, checking everything and putting in place a temporary filling. The relief was instant. A genuinely pleasant experience at the dentist’s. I can see why Aspire has five star reviews online. They are well deserved.

Fantastic experience: Great little practice. Haven't been to a dentist since pre-covid but Giles and his team were very professional and friendly. The practice is also very clean and organised, and you're not at all rushed during the appointment. There is parking for patients at the back of the practice, and there is a car park up the road. There is also roadside parking for 2 hours (no return within 4) so enough time for most dental treatments too.

Fantastic experience: I went to Aspire Dental to have a front crown fitted after years of not going to a dentist. The whole experience, from the moment I contacted Apire to having the crown fitted, has been fantastic. Friendly staff, quickly accommodated with appointments, excellent communication and Giles has done an incredible job with my crown. I've had so many compliments. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Negative experience: Me and my wife have used the dental practice for a number of years and found it fine up until the dreaded Covid outbreak. I can’t help but feel the precautions in place at the practice currently are a little over the top. My wife has MS and doesn’t get a lot of warning when she needs to use the toilet. I was horrified to find out we weren’t allowed to use the toilet at our last appointment which could have resulted in an unforgettable experience. I understand the need for caution but feel certain facilities should be provided for the patients. A toilet being one of them.
