Fantastic experience: Hi my name is Michael Doherty and I've been attending larne Dental practice now for 3 years, I've recently had 10 Composite veneers completed by the amazing Dr Jillian and her amazing team and staff. My journey started 3 years ago, and was completed by having 10 veneers on top then recently I decided to complete my journey have have the bottom completed and I have to say I'm delighted by the outcome, the professional work carried out by Dr Jillian and the advice and guidance that has been given to me throughout the 3 years has been second to none. I've never been a fan of any dentist lol And the fact that I travel 160mile all round journey when I visit shows how much trust that I have in Dr Jillian and her team ❤️ It's no wonder they won multiple awards recently for the service and work that they deliver to there patients I can't thank Michelle and Niamh and of course Dr Jillian for my end results and If anyone out there is thinking about a smile makeover or other services that they offer , I would recommend them . Fantastic experience: We LOVE Dr. Jillian at Larne Dental Care. After being nervous about dentists from some bad experiences, it took me about 3 years to even look for a new dentist. This practice is worth every penny! The atmosphere is positive yet relaxing and being greeted by Michelle makes you feel like you are a welcome friend. I had some fillings recently and Dr. Jillian talked me through everything she was doing, was kind, yet quick and efficient, no faffing. When I brought my 4 kids in, she checked their toy’s teeth before she checked theirs and made them feel completely at ease. They now ASK to brush their teeth and can’t wait to go back and show her how well they are brushing. She even convinced my 8-year-old to stop sucking her thumb!!! My 10-year-old just had some cavities filled and she was terrified because of our previous dentist, BUT after her appointment today, she gave Jillian a hug and said she was, “The best dentist EVER!” I highly recommend Larne Dental Care for their professional care, their patient manner, and the proactive information they give while they’re cleaning your teeth. Shoutout to Niamh who cleaned my teeth AND educated me about brushing efficiency, toothbrush type, flossing technique, and more. My kids and I now look forward to the dentist, rather than avoiding it out of fear. Thank you so much, Team!

Fantastic experience: My mum was in today for a filling with the utterly brilliant jillian. Mum has been a patient here for almost 20 years and has watched jillian grow from a young rookie to the top dentist she truly has become. Her staff are brilliant. Michelle is a true asset and helps the beautiful practice buzz with a happy relaxed atmosphere. Niamh the hygienist deserves a big shout out aswell as she to makes mum comfortable and calm during her treatment. Larne dental has came a long way in mums time coming here and deserves all the praise in the world. Best dental practice in Northern Ireland and wouldn't go anywhere else. Fantastic experience: I honestly can't recommend this dental practice highly enough. From I made the initial phone call, Michelle put me at total ease and she explained everything throughly. I seen Gillian the dentist the following day for a get to know each other and get my dental plan, my appointments were blocked booked and my treatment began. Fantastic experience: I have had a great experience at Larne Dental Centre over the past number of months. I hadn’t been to a dentist in years due to living away at university and covid etc but have had a bridge on my front tooth for a number of years after an accident. I wanted to get this renewed and also just sign up to a dentist for regular check ups Michelle is so welcoming and has such a bubbly personality, Jillian was excellent at explaining what I needed done and what would look best and I also have been to Niamh the hygienist a few times who has been amazing at showing me how to properly look after my teeth and in particular, clean around my bridge. When choosing a dentist to visit, I like how Larne dental centre have an online presence and you can see actual work that has been done. I have had a filling, teeth whitening and a new bridge fitted which yes is pricey, but so is everything these days. I do think the price is reflected on the high standard of work that has been done. I have also signed up for the membership option so that the cost is slightly more spread out across the year and the girls tell me when I need to visit, otherwise I would probably forget and it would be another 5 years!! Top service and would definitely recommend x

From the moment i walked in, I was incredibly nervous but they immediately put me at ease with their kindness and professionalism. They took their time to explain everything, answering my questions as they went to make sure i felt comfortable and safe. The results? Absolutely life changing! My smile has been transformed and i feel more confident than ever. Fantastic experience: Can not recommend them enough! Always welcoming and friendly. I have had the Invisalign treatment with them and have had outstanding service all the way through and so happy with the end results.

Positive experience: Quality of dental care is first class. However, as with being a private practice, the cost of appointments and other treatments are very expensive. Especially for students such as myself. £68 for a checkup!!

Fantastic experience: The team at Larne Dental Centre are amazing and always go out of their way to make sure you have an excellent visit. Michelle is always on hand to greet you as you enter the practice, her bubbly and friendly attitude is lovely as you enter the practice. The practise itself is relaxing and zen - candles lit and usually relaxing music on which helps put you at ease especially if you are a nervous patient. Jillian is very good at what she does as a dentist and always listens to any concerns you have. Niamh is an excellent dental hygienist and has completed a few fillings for me. As a once very nervous patient the full team puts me at ease and I now really enjoy visiting the dentist! Larne Dental Centres work is always 5 stars and I really like that they do also care about how you feel about your teeth and how they look (cosmetic dentistry I suppose) offering appropriate and valuable feedback. As a private member I also receive discounts off treatments and they offer emergency dental care which means you can be seen imminently if needed (which I have had to use once or twice)! One thing to note, is that they do ask you to prepay for work that needs done which is not as issue but it was a change from any previous dentists. A massive thank you to all of the team!

Fantastic experience: I lost part of a tooth and most of a filling last night, when eating. Not to worry, Larne Dental Centre came to my rescue, once again. I've already had the damage assessed, and I'm booked in for restorative dental treatment in two working days. Many thanks to Jillian, the dental nursing staff and Michelle seeing me so quickly, and for providing support and treatment in such a caring and professional manner.

Positive experience: My Dental appointment was quick very professional as always. Unfortunately when I was trying to book my next appointment another client took a long time with resectionest so couldn't book an next appointment as I was needed to go as I was going away on a trip. Phoned back but was closed.

Negative experience: Reading other reviews on this site I see I am not the only one who has had the same problem. I am going to go elsewhere because I cannot afford to keep these people in the manner which they wish. I am a pensioner and money is limited. They are more interested in money than running a business which gives good service. They seem to be part time and have a poor communication system. I contacted them in the only way open to me to let them know that I could not keep an appointment. They claimed not to receive it. I made three phone calls to follow that but was unable to get through, with no opportunity to leave a voicemail. As a result I have to pay them for a missed appointment but I maintain it was because they were never there to take my calls and gave me no chance to leave a message. I believe I have already paid over £5000 this year for a few fillings and two replacement dental replacements, no root canals or anything, just replacements. When I told the receptionist how unhappy I was she just kept saying cheerfully "no problem ". She couldn't see (a) that it was a very big problem for me and (b) that if enough people like me go elsewhere she will have a very big problem I.e. no practice and therefore no job for her.

Fantastic experience: Such a lovely team. They have built my confidence by helping me smile. They set out a dental plan they would recommend for me with no pressure to agree to. Theirs advice and skills are amazing. They have been so welcoming and always there talking each step through with great reassurance. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has a great fear of going to the dentist I can highly recommend Larne Dental Center.... As I get older my fear seems to be increasing which seems quite irrational to me. However Gillian goes out of her way to reassure me , discussing my options , helping me to overcome my anxiety. This morning I had an early appointment at 8 a.m. which works best for me very anxious but by 8:20 my treatment was complete and I left with a smile!! Therefore thank you Gillian and your team for your care and professionalism.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, as trust had broken down, I had to end my membership here (which actually cost me money as the ‘membership discount’ I had for treatment had to be repaid if I left during the year…. Apparently it’s all in the small print) They are so expensive for all treatments, my new dentist is shocked at some of the costs for basic work done. I tried to discuss this with the ‘manager’ but we could not agree a suitable way forward, so leaving was my only option.

Fantastic experience: Larne dental centre were amazing with our daughter, who had a severe tooth infection. No dentist in Belfast would have a look at her mouth, but larne had her booked in and seen and her tooth removed all in the 1 day. They were very patient and caring with her and explained the whole process to her and made her feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend if anyone is looking a brilliant dentist. Michelle the receptionist and Jillian the dentist were both fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful.

Negative experience: Money driven rather than patient driven. Also not upfront about potential costs of treatment regarding invisalign.

Negative experience: Having paid £1,600 + for 3 root canals and fillings on Turs 18/7, I was disappointed to have to fill up on painkillers on Thurs night due to one of the treatments acting up. On ringing the centre on the Fri , I was advised by the office manager that I would have to pay £68 for an emergency appt to resolve the issue regardless of it being a result of the previous day's treatment. She was very adamant ... no money no appointment regardless. Between a rock and a hard place-£68 or a tootache. She knew she was on a winner. The dentist identified an infection on the Thurs x-ray which should have been dealt with then and there. As it was I had to pay £68 for a weeks supply of penicillin to rectify the missed infection. Unfortunately the dentist doesn't get involved in that side of the practice which is fair enough. Who wants to deal with a 76yo pensioner who feels aggrieved at paying £68 for a weeks supply of penicillin!!!! Moral of this story -don't expect any sympathy from the front office regardless of cicumstances.

Negative experience: Mustn't need the money - lost out on £1000 for an unwell patient being 7 minutes late. Practice manager rude and argumentative. Will never return - much better service with compassion elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely stunning dental practice. Nice, warm and relaxing waiting area with chilled water on tap.. you'd never believe it was a dentist. I was delighted with my Invisalign treatment and the care and service from Jillian was second to none. Probably the best dentist I've ever seen. She makes you feel so calm during treatment, (I'm a very nervous patient) so much so I had all my old fillings replaced with white just in time for my wedding. All the staff that I have ever come into contact with throughout the years have been lovely. Michelle the practice manager is lovely, really friendly and very professional. Always nice to have a chat to whilst waiting. It's a child friendly dental centre and they are made feel like it's all about them on their check ups and no need to be worried or scared. Would definitely recommend 5*

I came in for an emergency appointment with a cracked front tooth, they put me at ease about the whole situation explained options and were always there when I needed them. I ended up with a crown that is so perfectly matched to my teeth you would never even know! I have been with them ever since for regular check ups & hygienist appointments and honestly could not recommend them enough!

Negative experience: Rip off can get the same if not better work elsewhere..sit you in a room and give you story of your teeth..and manager needs a people skills course..terrible attitude..update..after seeking PROFESSIONAL help at a GREAT dentist..the £5000 bill this dentist wanted for my full treatment, I got all for just over £2500 elsewhere
