Fantastic experience: Just WOW!!!!!! I'm making sure I'm as detailed as possible! I walked out after my treatment with a 20+ year phobia weight dropped right off my shoulders. What an instant relief and have already noticed how much these issues were effecting my overall health both mentally and physically for a long time. I am forever grateful to the entire team. I've always tried to take care of my teeth but the the fears and lack of control restricted me to take that leap until recently the pain and discomfort I was experiencing overtook that and pushed me to seek the help I needed. So glad I found here. From my 1st call right through to seeing Jonathan for my 1st visit to any dentist in over 12 years. Jonathan made me feel so relaxed instantly. He made me feel safe and acted on a plan fast to save my teeth asap. All the girls I spoke with on the phone from time to time and at reception on arrival were absolutely amazing and so kind and welcoming as well. The day's before my treatment I had about 5 hours sleeps in 2 days. Along with the agonising pain I was in with my gums and inside of my cheeks all breaking out I knew I needed help but I was a nervous wreck. As I waited in reception my mind was racing but straight away the relaxing interior of the seating area really helped. The entire place including the treatment room smells AMAZING! and that factor really did help calm my nerves too. The dream team dentist and dental nurse "The 2 Megan's" genuinely made me feel so safe, understood and comfortable through the full hour and a half I was in there and they were able to get all the work done in 1 day. I kept thinking and saying even through the treatment that I can't beleive I am on a dentist chair and so happy and at peace. Both of the Megan's made me laugh, talking to me through out and had the best playlist of music to help relax me and it all worked and more. They all have incredible nature's and perfect at what they do in life, all of you here are truly helping people with their biggest fears as well as helping your health and well being. So thank you again. The dentist was always my biggest fear. Past tense as I can say I have a completely different perspective now 100%. I went in scared and anxious and walked out over the moon. The way my mouth, both teeth and gums have been cleaned out is phenomenal. As a strong team and establishment my fear has been fully cured and I have a fresh start and more healthy mouth. THANK YOU!! I will recommend you's to as many people as I can. You's have helped me gain my confidence back again, fixed the problems causing the pain. It's all gone!! And I don't feel run down like I was for years. I now feel energised and refreshed. My sister in law is already looking at registering my 2 nieces as I certainly don't want them growing up with the same fears I had. I want them to feel understood and positive about taking care of their oral hygiene and visiting friendly genuine professionals like "Dentistry With Care" as this experience has entirely changed my life. I look forward to my check ups and cleans every 6 months or so to help save my teeth long term. You's are the best dentist I've had in all these years! FACT! Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist I've been too had to get a tooth pulled and a few fillings done a while ago and could not have been in better hands truly professional work carried out. Recently got composite bonding on my front teeth due to having enamel corroded and a chipped tooth the result was outstanding could not be happier with the work done the lady that done it is amazing at her job.

Fantastic experience: I was recently here for the first part of my treatment plan - 2 composite fillings and a scale and polish. Meghann and her co-ordinator were gentle, kind and reassuring when I was feeling like getting up out of the chair and running out the door! Meghann kept me calm, and was really patient with me from the get-go. My biggest insecurity were my front teeth, and Meghann got to work right away on them for me! Honestly, I have not stopped smiling since my visit, confidence boost x100! It was pain free, quick and done amazingly well. I’m nowhere near finished my treatments but the confidence I have so early on speaks volumes! Thank you Meghann & her co-ordinator for making me feel amazing about my teeth for the first time since I can remember! ❤️

Fantastic experience: As an extremely phobic patient, that has managed to avoid dentists for a decade, when toothache started I was in trouble. A friend who is fearful of dentist, recommended Dentistry with care. I was skeptical that they could do anything different that i hadn't already tried for last 40 years with no success. However, Jonathan and the team had incredible patience, despite being unregistered, making time for me within a couple of days. They all seemed very genuine people who truly understood a real phobia. They all did their very best for me, and managed to get me back later in day for IV sedation and problem fixed. My memory flashing into my head from the procedure is Jonathan telling me (and genuinely making me feel I was) safe and ok. Never had such a positive memory from a dental visit!!!! I feel there might actually be hope that I can improve on visits, and love their philosophy of building up relationship rather than getting a different dentist every time who hasn't a clue how you cope etc etc. Time will tell hopefully the team won't move on jobs and they actually just might be able to get to understand my phobia and help me conquer it! All in all, from skeptic to a hopefully, definitely the best Dentist i have ever experienced, from the MANY who claim great things for nervous patients, but this one - actually does! Really recommended.

From the initial first meeting with the friendly patient coordinator Lucy (who kept me updated on appointment times etc) to my treatment of having a composite bonding re- done (which another ayrshire dentist made a poor job of). Pamela has a great 'dentist chair' manner and both her and assistant Kerry made me feel so relaxed during treatment, I near nodded off- I was so chilled! Pamela did such a great job and was very particular on the detail of shape, curvature and length of the tooth bonding... it was a top class result. I only wish I'd gone there in the first place.Cant recommend her enough!

Fantastic experience: I attended this dentist for the first time after breaking a tooth. Firstly I should say I was anxious beyond belief which turned into terror on entering the surgery. The dentist explained options and I opted for extraction because I’m not a good patient! I’m not good with needles especially the dentist ones. I can honestly say it was the best dental experience with needles I have had. The injection pain was very minimal and I don’t say that lightly. The dentist was very understanding and caring throughout which I appreciated. I really am grateful to them for what they did.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dentistry With Care because of its friendly and professional manner. I had composite bonding treatment done by the fantastic Dr Pamela Kent at Prestwick. My treatment was very straightforward and Pamela explained everything as she went along. It was a quick and pain free process and the results were amazing! The lovely Lucy,treatment coordinator,kept me on track with appointments and payments. The loveliest of staff and a great find! Thank you all for my new smile!

Negative experience: I needed emergency treatment and this practice could offer me a private appointment. Explained my fear of dentists and was assured I had came to the right place with a phobia. On the day of my appointment I was left in waiting room 40 mins past my appointment. Two people came into surgery after my appointment time so assumed their appointments must have been a later time yet they were both seen before myself. Maybe they were only visiting for a check up and they decided as my appointment would be Ionger to see them first but this did not help with my nerves. I have read a previous review where someone stated they were more interested in selling Botox and dentistry with care have replied they do not offer that service. I can confirm on day of my enquiries speaking with Lucy Harrison myself and friend were also offered Botox which my friend did return to have done the following week.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has an intense fear of needles to the point that she gets in such a panic, she has no recollection of where she is and what has happened. She experiences absolute blind panic. She was recently referred to Dentistry with Care because she has to have 5 teeth extracted prior to having braces fitted. Dentistry with Care were recommended because they would be able to offer her inhaled sedation. This in itself was a blessing but the truly outstanding feature of our experience with Dentistry with Care was the genuine care and compassion shown towards my daughter by Fiona and Karli. My daughter was in such a panic that she could not even relax enough to breathe through her nose to use the sedation. She got close a few times then went into a panic. Every single time she panicked, Fiona and Karli took time to calm her down, reassure her, and explain to her that she was in control at all times. This took a great deal of time but it was no trouble for Fiona and Karli who were incredibly patient and kind to her throughout. My daughter eventually managed to make use of the sedation then had her injections. She found it hilarious that, by this point, she could not even feel the injections. By the end of the appointment, my daughter had two teeth removed and was astonished that it had not been at all painful. She could not stop thanking and hugging Fiona and Karli. We ran out of time to have the three teeth on the other side removed but this is simply because Fiona and Karli prioritised making my daughter feel at ease rather than getting through the task of removing 5 teeth. We are going back next month to have the remaining 3 teeth removed. My daughter is actually really looking forward to seeing Fiona and Karli again and she wants to take them a card. What a turnaround! I cannot thank Fiona, Karli, and the staff at Dentistry with care enough. They went well above and beyond for my daughter. Thank you so much for your kindness, patience, compassion, and professionalism. It is deeply appreciated.

Negative experience: I was told I would be set up as an HNS patient. I went for my check up and he didnt check my teeth with any dentistry equipment at all. Just looked in my mouth for a minute and told me I would need a cleaning. Told me it would be £75. I check after my appointment and a cleaning is less than £30 on the NHS. They will say that this is a more extensive cleaning. If this is the case why wasn’t I offered an NHS cleaning or it even mentioned. They are just interested in private care and getting as much money out of you as they can. I felt like I was trying to be conned.

Fantastic experience: First time using this dentist. All staff had lovely manners, premises were very well kept as an example of how professional this business is run. All treatment was explained and carried out in a professional manner. Great first experience of this dentist practice

Prior to getting my bonding done i was hiding my mouth. My teeth were really badly stained as I am an ex smoker alongside being a coffee drinker. Fantastic experience: I found Dentistry with care after visiting 3 NHS dentists who I felt couldn't meet my needs. All I can say is thank goodness for Elaine! She is very patient and skilled, and as someone who hasn't numbed well in the past she has managed to do it sucessfully just actually listening to me. The reception team are lovely as well , I have had most of my work done within 1 month over 4 appointments and would recommend to others with specific issues around numbing and general phobia to this practice. Fantastic experience: Got my composite bonding at another dentist 2 year ago had nothing but problems with them chips the lot, bonding only going up half way etc and informed there was next to no bonding on the teeth and they felt rough, went to dentistrywithcare in Irvine north Ayrshire and for half the price got my top set done and the team done amazing, smoooth, cover full teeth which is amazing, and comes with a year guarantee which 99% of the places don’t offer any guarantee and every 3 to 6 months they get you in to check up which is amazing , will get my bottom done at some point and won’t be going anywhere else

Fantastic experience: I attended the practice on Monday with severe toothache that had kept me awake all weekend. I saw Karli first who took an x-ray and advised that the tooth causing me bother had previously had root treatment and it has now failed, this came as a shock to me as I thought it only had a filling in it. Karli then advised my options which was a 2nd root treatment which wouldn’t be guaranteed to work or extraction, I then became very upset as it was one of my front teeth and Karli was very quick to calm me down and make me feel at ease. I was then seen by Jonathan who again reassured me he would do everything he could to save the tooth but also advised that if this wasn’t the case he would ensure that there would be other options and I would not be without my front tooth, again this made me feel more at ease. I am very nervous of the dentist, but the treatment was pain free and quick and has made me feel more confident going forward with any further treatments I may need. Can’t thank the staff enough, highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this dentist enough! The atmosphere and staff make it very welcoming, and they really take the time to explain everything. I felt comfortable and well cared for during my visit. Definitely a five-star experience!

Negative experience: The receptionist seems more interested in filling you face with botox and offering salon type services than dealing with dental needs which doesn't give a good impression. In addition they wanted you to pay essentially a monthly subscription to guarantee you will get an appointment. This is supposed to be an NHS dental practice not private dental care. You cant reply to their marketing/reminder texts and their phone number rings out, goes to some kind of national help line or just cuts you off after a minute. Not very professional in my opinion, I have reported it as junk as I cant get off their contact list or block them.

Having not set foot in a dental surgery for over 16 years due to traumatic previous treatment the toothache i was experiencing beat me into submission. After biting the bullet and contacting Jonathan and the team I recieved an appointment within 24hrs. Despite all my apprehension and fear i was met with kindness and understanding. The treatment i recieved was fantastic from start to finish reassured constantly throughout the whole process and taken great care of, would absolutely recommend to anyone with any fear or anxiety related to visiting the dentist these are the people to see you'll be in great hands.

Fantastic experience: I'm true dental phobic. I'm not just a "bit feart" (in the past I've been chased down the street by a dentist and two nurses, had an initial exam standing in a waiting room because I couldnt sit, cried in the street and not made it over a door several times, and relied too often on emergency appointments in terrible pain because that seemed a better option than regular dental care). I decided to try a 'phobia specialist' (admittedly with a bit of wry cynicism..) and am now eating my words (and the occasional worry-free toffee!). Jonathan, Carly and the team at DWC have been absolutely FANTASTIC. Patience of saints, totally empathic; not only have they provided pain-free, stress-free asessmentand treatment, I've actually had the odd laugh. Today I made it through the door and into the chair on my own, something I (and anyone who knows me) never would have believed possible. Cannot recommend DWC highly enough if you struggle with dental care.

Fantastic experience: I’m quite a nervous dental patient so when I was referred for some extensive treatment I wasn’t exactly looking forward to it….however, I was made to feel very comfortable on arrival and the treatment was not only successful but well managed throughout. Even to the point where I was messaged over a weekend to check that I was pain free. My wife is very ‘Dentist phobic’ and she has since ventured to Dentistry With Care for the first time in 5 years. Found the experience great and has begun a dental plan. If you are a nervous dental patient who needs a little extra patience, understanding and care then I recommend Dentistry With Care. Fantastic experience: I visited the clinic during my Summer holidays in Scotland as I had bad toothache. I sent an email on the Sunday evening and they saw me at 9am on the Monday morning. I hadn’t been to a dentist for a LONG time and I suffer from bad health anxiety but Jonathan and his team made me feel at ease from the word go. They were all so friendly and understanding. Johnathan & Karli were amazing, even offered to come out to my car for my initial visit (that’s how bad I was) Had 4 extractions (last dental visit was 46yrs ago) - had a little bit of discomfort after, but I’d had major work on my mouth. 2 days later was the first I’d woken up in the morning with no pain in my mouth for around 4-5yrs Can’t thank Dentistry with Care enough and would highly recommend them if you need work done on your mouth + their nice folk and will make it’s relaxing as they can

After having a dentist disaster with another dentist i was terrified of the dentist and wasn’t sure if I would ever be able to get my teeth fixed. Fantastic experience: I hadn't visited a dentist in 20 years. I had a real fear of going. I found Dentistry with care by pure chance and emailed. Karli got back to me and everything just spiralled from there. From no appointments in 20 years. I had 5 appointments in 2 months. 2 hygienist appointments which were great and pain free. 3 fillings and 2 extractions. Elaine is a magician. Never felt a single thing through fillings or extractions. She reassured me the whole way through, explained exactly what was happening and was just amazing. Karli is always available by call or email and she looks after you the whole way. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Actually enjoy my dentist visits now

Fantastic experience: After having a bad experience with my current dentist I contacted dentistry with care and they had me in within days and got my tooth out, Coral and Jonathan were incredible at keeping me calm and I even got a courtesy call the following day from Karli to check everything was ok and how I was feeling which was so lovely of them.

Jonathan arranged an appointment straight away, sent us all the information beforehand, answered all our questions and really reassured us as parents. Fantastic experience: I can’t thank the team at dentistry with care enough. I have been avoiding going to the dentist for years due to a really bad experience with my own dentist. From the minute I made the appointment to the aftercare Karli has made me feel so at easy and nothing has been a problem it’s been like a breath of fresh air. I needed a few awkward extractions, fillings and scale and polish. I opted for sedation due to my nerves but I really don’t think I would have needed it now as Elaine was fantastic, the teeth were out in seconds and I got all my treatment done in the one appointment. I have really awkward veins too but Jonathan was very professional, reassuring and kind. Overall it’s been the best experience I have ever had and I now have no problem going back. Fantastic experience: Was in for a wisdom tooth extraction that had been causing me bother for over a year and had been putting it off because let’s be honest, no one likes the idea of getting their teeth pulled out! Especially when you hear/see some horror stories about wisdom tooth extractions, but the dentists that work here put me at ease and assured me I had nothing to worry about. I was in the chair for about 5 minutes, felt no pain and even the day after didn’t need any painkillers, from start to finish the process was quick and completely hassle free. Any work I need going forward I will be going here for sure

I received a reply very quickly and my first appointment was the following day. I'm now nearly finished my treatment. All the staff have been fantastic and so supportive and understanding.

Fantastic experience: Was referred to this dentist by my own dentist for a troublesome extraction. Really personable guy, chatty and put me at ease. Explained the procedure at each step. His dental assistant equally chatty and efficient. Strikes me as being an excellent option if your children are nervous patients. Only deals with private work but none the worse for that. Will almost certainly use again.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient with Dentistry with Care, I went to them because I was nervous about dentists and I was recommended to go to them as they deal with people who don’t cope well with dentists. They are super friendly and always reassured you and always made sure you are comfortable. I have had superb service and felt really comfortable, I would recommend them very highly.

Fantastic experience: It has been 1 week since I visited for a double lower extraction of a wisdom and 6. I had been putting this procedure off for years. My registered NHS practice suggested I visit somewhere that could sedate me without trying to consult or refer me within their own practice. Their comments actually created fear. Thankfully I didn’t require such lengths… I sought out dentistry with care who put me at ease from consultation to procedure to leaving the practice. Both extractions were completed quickly with a pain free delivery of local anaesthetic. Happy tears were shed at the end. I have experienced no pain at all since the day of removals. Elaine was fabulous! I would highly recommend this practice for anyone that has been putting off dental care
