Fantastic experience: I’ve had a few issues with my dental treatment recently, but I honestly can’t speak highly enough of the care I received. Every member of staff has been professional, friendly, and genuinely supportive from start to finish. The aftercare from Will in particular has been absolutely sensational — he’s gone above and beyond, which is rare these days. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this dentist. A top-class team all round.

Negative experience: Wouldn’t treat me because I saw dr jenni Thomas at another practice in Cardiff which I didn’t even know until I arrived at the clinic it would be her treating me “it’s against their policy” so it was a wasted trip to the dentist. It’s ironic because for some bizarre reason she is situated in so many practices in Cardiff and Caerphilly.

I had a year of appointments, I've recieved 5*+ every visit, kind, helpful and explain everything beforehand, I highly recommend parklands. It was a temporary dentist but by the second visit i knew I'd never want to go anywhere else, thank you Parklands for an excellent standard of care. I had a routine check up today and wanted to add it to my review. Previously dentists would check your teeth on a routine appointment and make another appointment if there was anything further needed. At the routine check up, my dentist said I needed a filling and He could do it immediately, I was very happy that it would all be done on the routine 6 monthly appointment. Thank you so much Parklands, I cannot find any fault with you, a great dental practice that my words don't give you the credit you highly deserve

Fantastic experience: Parklands Dental Practice is without doubt the best, 'Dentists' I have ever been to, only go there if you want excellent service conducted by highly professional and competent staff - here's why....... I had lost a front tooth and the replacement treatment that I wanted was not available at my usual NHS Practice. I was recommended Dr Sam Thomas at Parklands. From my very first attendance, and on every visit thereafter I was made to feel at ease by Danielle the receptionist, Katy, the Practice manager and every member of the nursing staff that I encountered. Dr Thomas explained in detail 3 different options that were available to me in order to rectify my issue. I opted for an implant. I have to say, and speaking as a nervous patient, the entire process, from start to finish was absolutely, totally and utterly painless, I experienced no discomfort at all, I could not have been happier with the end result. Dr Thomas is a master of his craft! It is without any hesitation therefore that I recommend Parkland Dental Practice!

Fantastic experience: Can't fault anyone, Parklands Dental Practice. From the very friendly receptionist,nurses and Sam. I,m a very nervous patient.They are all very caring and put me at ease.

Negative experience: I had a great initial experience at Parklands Dental Practice; however, be advised that although a “free Invisalign consultation” is advertised, this is not the case. I spoke with Jeni who was wonderful and took all my concerns into consideration, and spoke me through options for teeth alignment treatment. I was told I had to get an X-ray done to see if I was suitable for treatment, and was under no impression that this would be at a cost of over £50. I did not want to confront the receptionist when she asked for payment, as I felt too embarrassed to do so. I paid the fee and left (assuming I would decide to go with this practice, as my experience with Jeni in the consultation was wonderful). Following the consultation I was told that I would be emailed within a weeks time to see if I would like to proceed, and despite chasing the practice multiple weeks later and confirming contact information with them on numerous occasions, I never managed to get a reply. Eventually, I gave up communication attempts and have since looked elsewhere for treatment. This experience left a slight sour taste in my mouth. Charges at this dental facility definitely quality as “hidden fees”, in addition to the lack of communication between the client and organisation.

From the moment I walked in to have a consultation till my treatment ended, I was welcomed with open arms, and the staff are just so friendly and human. Yes human, compared to my NHS dental practice, Parkland is heaven. Thank you all for treating me with care and making me realise that not every practice behave the same.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient for over four years at this dental practice and in that time have received Invisalign treatment, had a root canal filling and a crown fitted. Yesterday, I had a large molar extracted. As this was the first tooth I was to lose , i didn’t know what to expect and was very nervous. Sam had performed a lot of the work I’d had done previously as well as this extraction. He is very highly skilled, extremely reassuring and is always happy to explain everything thoroughly. I have had no problems today and the extraction site is already healing well and causing no discomfort. I’m very happy with all the work I have had done and the staff are so kind and helpful. A special mention must also go to Danielle, the Receptionist, who is brilliant at her job and a pleasure to meet.

Fantastic experience: Moving to this practice was one of the best decisions I have made in terms of dental hygiene and correction. I have always had a phobia of dentists and after many years of having multiple dentist at my original practice and never being able to form any relationships, I decided after being recommended by my daughter to move to Parklands. They are a dedicated and friendly team, and experts in their field. Really reassuring with any procedures and will talk you through it and give you options beforehand. Its really helped with my personal phobia and made a massive difference.... Great team!

My youngest daughter is extremely nervous - with a touch of dramatic - she had 2 adult teeth out recently in preparation for braces, the care she received was outstanding. Fantastic experience: I have been with the NHS all my life, but not happy with my teeth at the moment. I have researched alternative Dentist, and yes even Turkey. Eventually decided to go with Parklands Dental Practice. I was getting negative thoughts, that they wouldn’t be able to do anything for me. I was put at ease by Dr Sam Thomas straight away, and offered three options, explained in great detail. To much for information for me to take in, then told that everything would be fully detailed in a letter, with pricing. My thoughts, this could be really going to happen, especially after so long. I can’t say enough about the staff, they put me at ease from start to finish. I came out of there with a lot more confidence, than when I went in.

Positive experience: Parklands Dental Staff are all first class, especially that nice Hygienist lady who keeps nagging me and putting me on the naughty step. I do try to listen to her advice and that of the Dentist. On a slightly negative note, the patients Car Park is a bit of a nightmare and I don't believe that any of my appointments have been on time in the last 25years. Overall, it's an excellent Practice.

Fantastic experience: Highly impressed with the services provided by Parkland dental practice when I had to attend recently from an emergency. All staff were extremely polite and professional. The Dentist I saw was fantastic, offering all treatment options, explaining the risks and benefits of each and ultimately providing an appropriate recommendation. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Negative experience: Visited parklands as I had pain in my tooth. After booking appointment on the phone I was advised £52.50 fee. After visiting they increased the price to £150 as I was given treatment that they failed to advise would cost £100 which I was forced to pay as I couldn’t just walk out. They also advised if I wanted the problem resolved I would have to come back and it would cost £545. The next day my face had swollen up and had to visit an emergency dentist as they failed to resolve the issue and £100 of my money was thrown down the drain by visiting this practice. Avoid at all costs

Like many people of my generation I have a fear of dentists and consequently my dental health has suffered, I could not have a better dentist than Sam, he is so patient with me which is so reassuring but also he is an excellent practitioner. He is very skilled and gentle and my teeth have never looked better. The dental nurses all have a gentle reassuring manner which is so important for patients like myself. I never thought I’d say this but I don’t mind my visits to the dentist anymore, I would highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I went to parklands last week because I had pain and issues with my teeth, I have neglected my teeth over the years due to having REALLY bad experiences with dentists in the past that has given me a huge fear of going. I was seen by dr. William Parker and he was great with me and sorted out my problem that day. I have now had my first of many visits to rectify my teeth and the procedure of having two root canals went absolutely amazing. I can’t recommend this practice and dr William enough, everyone is friendly and helpful and the treatment is 2nd to none. My fear of the dentist is slowly disappearing.

Fantastic experience: Having had a dentist phobia for many years, I took a gamble with changing dentists post lockdown and I’m so glad I did! Sam is very reassuring and calming as are all the dental support team at the practice. My children now attend the practice and I can’t fault Sam’s ability to reassure and explain things in a way that make treatments less scary and stressful for my 6 year old (she’s also a huge fan of the fish tank in reception!) Fantastic experience: I’m not a fan of the dentist, at all, but my first experience of Parklands Dental Practice was very positive. I needed an emergency appointment and was in within a few hours. We were greeted by the new Receptionist, Danielle who was very welcoming and friendly and efficiently booked us in. Fantastic experience: I have always been nervous about the dentist and knowing this, Sam and his team all made me feel really at ease with their patience and understanding. I haven't been happy with my smile for a long time as my front 4 veneers were very old, one was chipped and they were bulky. Getting them replaced was the best thing I did and wish I had done it sooner. The whole process was made simple and Sam took the time to explain each step. I am over the moon with the results and will be booking more treatments.
