Negative experience: The security here are unaware that they are bound by licensing laws when conducting their duties in public under The Private Security Industry Act 2001, they have been made aware of the licensing agreement they are breaking and continue to do so, I for one as a member of the local community expect a better standard to be held by security companies, the staff and the companies sub contracting to them, also they seem to have contact information on the website to request your data but will ignore any requests for your data, you may also be threatened by the assistant manager if you do not immediately comply with her requests

Fantastic experience: My twin brother Stephen and I were exploring around this part of town, we passed through St Nicholas Arcade,a shopping centre that to be honest is rather none descript and rather mundane, your normal high street names and some fast food outlets, the Greggs was actually quite decent, went there twice on our break in Lancaster, if you're into your retail therapy I suppose it's a good place to visit but if you're like me totally uninterested in such places its best avoided.

Positive experience: There's more to this place than meets the eye. I loved both Rymans and HMV for the range of products but more because the staff in both stores are knowledgeable and helpful. The other stores I haven't visited yet. Watch out for updates.

Fantastic experience: Great parking, great shopping area. Lancaster is very well developed and the lay out means no matter where you want to be, there are walk throughs taking you through , so no excessive walking around. Plenty of food and drinking areas, from cafés bars restaurants. Highly recommend visiting

Positive experience: It's ok undercover disabled access and car park with lift and toilets that are cleaned regularly -1 star for the cheeky tobacconist/ news agent charging ridiculous amounts

Positive experience: Good range of well stocked shops including Boots, Rymans, Next and Poundland. Theres a good cafe with indoor and "outdoor" seating that offers a wide range of food, drinks and desserts. Large car park below. Toilets and babychange too.

Positive experience: Part of a much larger shopping area clean and tidy housing all of the shops you would need including Costa, KFC and McDonald's.

Positive experience: A shopping centre in the middle of Lancaster, with parking below like any centre every shop and places to eat, there is some new restaurants opened, as well as a burger king,road work, from st nics carpark to bus depot however you can still use carpark and drive thru to bus depot and join traffic leading out of town

Positive experience: Not much of a mall but the shops were adequate especially the hmv one. Restrooms were good and clean. Good for light shopping but not really for "malling".

Positive experience: St Nics hasn't changed a lot in 30 years, it's dry, with some reasonable shops. Some properties are now empty which is a great shame but with car parking (not free) below, toilets and cafes it's not bad. Another cafe has closed recently and the old Argos shop is still empty.

Fantastic experience: The Geek place opposite Iceland is great for a sit down and a coffee. Lovely staff and lots if games to play.

Positive experience: Few empty stores but what there is is a good mix of stores and cages. Kept clean.

Fantastic experience: There are plenty of good shops to look into. Unusually, I can recommend the ladies' public loos! They were clean, well stocked with paper and hand soap, and hot water. It's a pity so few public toilets are as well kept.

Positive experience: Ok. Not a large shopping centre. I originally went in our of the rain, then ended up buying a couple of shirts. Overall, Lancaster is a great shopping centre with both mainstream and independent shops.

Positive experience: Shame Argos closed down, it was great to be able to compare electrical items with those in Boots, Superdrug, and TK Maxx. Plenty of high street shops with 2nd hand YMCA shop, gold buyers, jewellers, toy store, large Next and cafés.

Positive experience: The shops that are there are great. It's so sad that there are empty shops that were not empty before Covid and Brexit etc. I still enjoyed shopping there, but missed some things.

Fantastic experience: This was a lovely shopping centre to go around, where I bought a beautiful white dog model at a shop for a solid price! The ornaments are laid out properly on shelves in the shop, where I was lucky enough to find it. I was served by a friendly lady, who was a counter that had the shop's high overall cleanliness level.

Positive experience: Got some great shops and cafés, it's mainly cafés we use just a shame no we're to just sit inside out of the weather while waiting for my wife

Negative experience: I've benn living in Lancaster since I was born and I have never seen such a dull place; do the people who run the place not understand where to put a bench? I've seen better smaller shopping centres like the Miller Arcade in Preston and they have a few benches; however this seems like a dificult problem for the people who run it. Not to mention how run down this place is, 2 outlets that are not in use!!! There is no variety of stores, in fact if your heading to Lancaster for shopping I suggest you avoid St Nics and Marketgate, both are shambolic when it comes to empty stores!

A few kind words goes a long way especially when we can't see each others smiles. Exceptionally well stocked store too. My friend got everything on his list in here at a bargain price.
