Fantastic experience: Best best dental surgery ever! The staff make you feel at home as soon as you appear - very friendly and professional. I imagine all the dentists are brilliant - i have Mehrdad who is exceptional. Completely puts you at ease and explains exactly what he is going to do. I cant thank all of them enough - Mehrdad, his nurse and all the staff behind the desk for making me feel so comfortable and at ease.
Fantastic experience: I've been visiting the Greenwich Dental Practice for many years and have had two dentists during that time. After the retirement of my first dentist I was allocated a very pleasant and professional dentist, Dr Ade. He sees to all my dental needs and encourages and advises on how to keep my teeth healthy. He even offered me a service for beauty purposes by filling in little gaps between front teeth to enhance better look when smiling. I have nothing but high praise for this dental practice and recommend it highly.

Negative experience: Used to be an amazing dental practice, don’t know what’s happened. Awful, feels like the dentists aren’t even qualified. Paid private for my root canal & crown for the crown to fall out twice! And I have to see the same person ‘because it’s his work’ no one answers the phones. No appointments. Got given the wrong invoice!! Practice looking run down! Absolutely awful.
Negative experience: Worst service ever! My dentist suggested me to clean up. So I booked a hygienic clean.. but the hygienist never touched those tooth with dirts! Utter waste of money lemme know if there is a way for refund

Fantastic experience: Very easy to get to from a commuting perspective - whether by train, bus or DLR - location is perfect. The dentist office is spread out over a number of floors with all required services available in house. The staff are the gold winners here - from the receptionists who are courteous, warm and friendly to the dental nurses and the dentists themselves - I've never felt so card for, listened to and better treated than I have here. I highly recommend Dr Manisha Desai (hands down the best dentist I've ever had!) and her assistant Tysian Gray. Gold standard dentistry care, modern, affordable and most of all, caring and welcoming!

Negative experience: I went to this dentist for a routine hygiene treatment, but it turned into an absolute nightmare. The procedure left me with bleeding gums and broken teeth, and the pain was unbearable. I kept asking the dentist to stop, but she continued despite my discomfort. It was a deeply traumatic experience, and even a year later, I’m still suffering the consequences—my gums continue to bleed, and my teeth are breaking off one by one. When I went back to seek help, the only solution they offered was to charge me over £2,000 to fix the damage they caused. I’m extremely disappointed and would not recommend this clinic to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

Negative experience: I saw Dr. Nik Mangat over a decade ago as a child, and unfortunately, the experience has stayed with me for all the wrong reasons. His approach to treatment was the bare minimum- I’m now undergoing Invisalign to correct what should have been done properly the first time. Worse still was his attitude. He was by far the most unapproachable, rude, and intimidating dentist I’ve ever encountered. I would be physically shaking before every appointment due to how he spoke to me. Even at the time, my mum was warned to be cautious as “he can be a bit funny,” which proved to be an understatement. After a year of treatment- and me crying before every visit- my mum raised a complaint. Instead of showing any compassion or professionalism, things got worse. I wasn’t even offered a post-treatment check-up after my braces were removed. Even the way he spoke to his assistants and other patients infront of us was incredibly uncomfortable. His lack of empathy and poor bedside manner as a children’s specialist is shocking. I’ve had dental anxiety ever since, over 10 years on, and it stems directly from my experience under his care. There was no duty of care shown, and I would strongly advise others- especially parents- to think twice before trusting him with their child’s treatment. Someone with such a dismissive and intimidating manner should not be allowed to work with patients, especially those seeking care during such a vulnerable and formative time.
Negative experience: this dental practice is absolutely TERRIBLE! i do not recommend your family members to go to this dentist due to the amount of lies they spread. What happened with me is that i got told “in 6 months if u don’t get a message about your braces come straight away and we can put them on” i waited 6 months to be exact from December to June i decided to call them about the issue as i haven't received any message and i got told to wait a hole another year for them. This is quite embarrassing from them as this tells me that there not organised at all, cant keep up with the system and also they are absolutely rude Another problem is i paid £96 for a hygiene checkup and i was told to do this as i could get a higher chance off getting my braces as i got told to do it i done it and the new dentist that done that hygiene check up for me told me that i didnt really need it. This means that my £96 went to a waste and also isn’t very effective as they told me 6 months for braces and now are extending it to 1 and half years. Last thing is one of my family members went here for their braces and weren’t satisfied at all they took them off early and the braces weren't effective at all So this review is a 1 star due to all the rudeness of staff, lying, unable to keep up with their systems and also very unorganised and now i paid £96 for absolutely nothing and when i went they said £70 and all of a sudden a week later they want to charge me £26 extra this may not seem a lot but for the cost of living crisis this is a lot and a very big jump to it

Fantastic experience: My experience today with Dr Musaab was a great one, felt almost like I was seeing an acquaintance not the dentist. He was very attentive at my needs and help me leave the practice with a missive smile on my face.. which I think we all want once we depart from a dentist appointment. The receptionist was also very nice and although it was quite crowded I haven’t felt the normal tension experienced when you arrive in a place and you are not acknowledged. Million thanks’
Negative experience: 0 star experience. The woman at the desk was so rude to me - she was making a nasty face and being dismissive and talking over me when I came to talk to her. She tried to get me to change my appointment to an earlier time but forgot to inform me that my dentist wouldn’t be here for that time. When I raised the issue she didn’t want to take any accountability and she wasn’t even making eye contact. She told me that’s Greenwich dental practise will prioritise private patients over EMERGENCY NHS 111 patients!!! This is so disgusting, I feel completely disregarded. She said that 111 booked the appointment- not them - so she’s not responsible. Bear in mind the dentist wasn’t there because she’s on her LUNCH BREAK. on my emergency appointment time - most likely to prioritise a private patient. That is explicitly NOT ALLOWED.

Fantastic experience: My experience was absolutely brilliant. I have a life long phobia about dentists so I am an extremely nervous patient. However, I felt at ease and I did not even realise my tooth had been extracted! The only slight problem is that there is no lift. As I am disabled with arthritis I had to be extremely careful on the stairs. Overall, I am extremely pleased and satisfied. My congratulations to all on doing a great job. I will not hesitate to use their services again should I need to.
Negative experience: Could have given a zero or negative star if there was one. They canceled my appointment without informing us. It was for my kid and we wasted our Sunday to turn up for a non appointment. Terrible

Negative experience: I saw couple of weeks ago that they accept NHS patient so I got in touch. Someone from the practice called me but I was unable to respond so they left a message to call back. When I called today, both of the people who spoke with me were very rude and made me fell like how I had the audacity to dare to call them to ask for NHS services. Absolutely speechless! If you can avoid, do so. I left another review today, but probably they asked google to remove it as they didn’t like it. I just want to ensure nobody else will go through the same experience as me.

Fantastic experience: I’d highly recommend Greenwich Dental Practice. I went for a check-up today with Oliver. He is friendly and put me at ease before checking my teeth thoroughly. This included an x ray (as it had been 2 years since I last had one), inspecting my teeth, scraping off calculus that had built up behind my lower front teeth, and double checking areas where the X-ray showed imperfections to check they were healthy by pressing them and looking back over old X-rays. No further treatment was necessary. I have a lot of trust that my dentist will only recommend treatment if it is clinically necessary although the practice does also offer a range of cosmetic treatments. In the questionnaire you fill in before an appointment, it asks about which types of dental treatments you are interested in to ensure that they give the type of information that is of interest to each patient.

Negative experience: Why hasn’t Nik Mangat been struck off for incompetence yet? My GDC complaint was upheld and the practice had to pay me back all my money after Mangat botched my treatment.

Negative experience: Seems like dentists are another service more interested in selling extra services. Tier 1 NHS should include ‘Scale and Polish’ after 3mins i was told your good to go and i needed to book a hygienist session. Thats extra i asked, yes the dentist replied. I point blank referred to the wording on the NHS site. But no i need to book an additional appointment and the refused to do a scale and polish. Take from that what you will but im off to find another dentist.

Positive experience: I went as a NHS patient. They want me to pay £245 for a white filling. When I asked how they justify the difference in price to a silver filling, the answer was not convincing. Not sure how they can justify for a NHS patient to pay so much money. I understand that a difference should be paid but, NHS patients are paying like private patients. I don't think this is a good thing to do. For the rest, they are extremely kind and nice professionals. But, NHS patients shouldn't be target as Private Patients.
Negative experience: Called up to register my toddler for a first time. Now as I explained to the very slow but rude receptionist (male) he’s never seen a dentist before, (which may have given him an idea I’m new at this) as somebody who is autistic and has an autistic toddler aswell, I struggle with social cues SOMETIMES, and I can fully own when I’ve missed a cue. THIS WAS NOT!!! one of those times !!!! Surely a practice who deals with the public must come into contact with people from all walks of life with physical and mental conditions that make it paramount to speak clearly and communicate effectively!!!! However at the beginning of the call he said I can register him but he won’t get an appointment this week I said that’s fine it’s not urgent I just want him registered so he can have regular check ups , after a painstakingly long call, where as my attention is off my child he’s becoming disregulated, making it a struggle for me to hear, I left the room, this receptionsist said ok soo that’s done , I was expecting from his tone that he was going to say something else so I waited he said okkkkkkk in a prolonged manner . I said okso what happens next , (as I’ve never just had someone register me and say ‘okkkkk’) clearly showing I don’t know where it goes from here, I said shall I call up for an appointment or, will I be contacted ??? He said well you could call up??? sounding like he wasn’t finished or more of the sentence was to come , and like throughout the whole process left very long pauses where I was baffled as to what was currently happening. He said or we could text you Now I like to always give feedback if I think it can be useful for people in the furture, so I said very politely to him, just so you know , for people who haven’t done this before you aren’t making it very clear as to what happens u just kind of said ok soooo , then people who doesn’t know your practices protocol won’t know what the next steps are , unless you explain it to them. He then had an attitude and blamed me, by saying well I told u I would put him on the system , and I said ok but you said he wouldn’t be seen this week, now to me that suggests that he would get an appointment just not straight away. (As I have history in customer services I know how your supposed to be very clear for the person on the other end , what the outcome of the call was, and if any future steps are going to go ahead, and then you ask the patient/client is that all I can help you with, Every dr or dentist or anywhere I book an appointment at, I’ve had exactly this happen) so this is a first at 33yo I’m experiencing somebody sounding so baffled and it sounded like he had no clue what he was doing. Absolutely aweful telephone manner. Receptionist need to be clear and considerate for a good experience. So I said to him remove my son his attitude stinks. If this is what it’s like from a. Simple phone call the first time I call up, I dread to think how painful it would be to communicate with this absolute melt in the future, no thanks , coz if he made me feel like that in person I can guarantee I would have humiliated him on the spot. Being In a job role that you sound confused in is never going to give a good impression. Lots of dentist practices have different ways of booking first appointments. Any normal person with half a brain cell would have communicated clearly, ‘your son is now registered on our system, we don’t have any appointments available right now, so if you would like to call up in a week or so , or if you’d prefer we can contact you when we have availability’ THATS WHAT A NORMAL RECEPTIONIST WOULD SAY YOU DENSE TURD !!!!! Got my back right up , eeeediat!!!!

Negative experience: Unprofessional and Disrespectful – Would Not Recommend I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic and would not recommend it to others. I was called an hour before my scheduled appointment and asked to come in immediately due to a cancellation. I rushed to accommodate their request, only to wait for an hour and be seen 15 minutes after my original appointment time. This showed a complete disregard for my time. During the consultation, I felt my concerns were dismissed. When I mentioned my bleeding gums, the dentist responded with, “Do you expect no bleeding gums? It’s normal after flossing.” I also pointed out a decaying tooth that had previously been identified and monitored by another dentist, but the dentist I saw claimed he couldn’t see it. I left feeling unheard and dissatisfied with the level of care. If you value professionalism and a dentist who takes your concerns seriously, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I was running late and my dentist and her colleague (dental assistant) were extremely kind and accommodating, agreeing to treat me even though their shift was finishing.
Negative experience: Absolutely useless! Every time I go in there’s a surprise charge. I booked an appointment from 2024, they’ve upped their price, no notice apart from when I’m there and taken annual leave to book it. Ridiculous and rude orange hair receptionist. I can’t give lower than a 1 star but it’s not worth even the one star!

Positive experience: Nice place but the only things I don’t like is that you see one dentist and you have a good relationship with them and you are confident with their work then the next thing they leave the practise you start again with someone else. Also this thing of booking an appointment that you wait ages for and you get there you see the dentist and they tell you to come back again for treatment. Why have an appointment to have a consultation then book for treatment we haven’t got time to keep coming and making these payments all the time. Another problem they are never on time always running late. Apart from this they are good

Negative experience: Terrible service, I made an appointment for my children, they canceled it, I called for another one, they make a mistake and schedule me in duplicate, as I missed due to an emergency they say that they can no longer schedule any for me by NHS because I missed two appointments and that I pay privately so that they can see my children when the mistake of scheduling wrong has been theirs
Negative experience: Terrible experience, they have no concept of time management or patient satisfaction. I still haven't been seen and am now waiting for appointment number 3. Last week I waited over an hour past due time and then had to leave it and rearrange a new one for today. Today I called an hour before due time to check on delay and was told they couldn't tell me when I would be seen. Now I have a third appointment booked for next week. They take the money in advance, cancel you if you are more than ten minutes late, but think it normal to keep you waiting over an hour, repeatedly. They have no time management skills at all and seem to think that this is normal. I am searching for somewhere else to go. I would add that every filling I have ever had there falls out, and the hygienist left my teeth feeling like they had a layer of sandpaper over them. Absolutely dreadful place.
Negative experience: had a horrible staff do my emergency appointment, didn’t have time to even say hello before she started complaining say i didn’t have to come and more while sorting my braces out so i couldn’t reply. even though i can’t eat on one side of my mouth and was in discomfort when my mouth is closed. and didn’t even fix it properly. last time i made the exact same appointment for the same reason but with someone else and they had no problem. very unprofessional. Positive experience: Emergency patient with toothache in wisdom teeth (right-side). I was greeted by warm and experienced dental staff. Dentist was knowledgeable and helpful. I left practice with temporary filling and prescription for antibiotics, which it seems to have done the job.

Positive experience: I visited to have a new filling. The price was around £180 as it was a composite filling. The procedure went fine. Staff were great. I was asked if I wanted a receipt emailed to me in regards for the treatment and I requested one sent by email. I didn’t receive it which is ok. Then filling then fell out less than a week later. Because of the pain I booked an emergency appointment which cost around £26. Again, the procedure went fine and the staff were great. I was told to come back as soon as possible to have the filling redone. I came back for my appointment today expecting the temporary filling to be removed and the original filling to be re done. I was told the filling done during the emergency appointment is fine and it won’t need to be replaced. I feel like I’m now out of pocket as I originally paid for a composite filling which I was told is permanent for £180 and have had to pay another £26 for it to be fixed with what may or may not of been the same solution. I would just like someone to explain if the same solution was used for my emergency appointment and why I had to pay another fee to have the original filling covered only to told that’s it’s fine.

Negative experience: Made an appointment for my kids a year ago for tomorrow. Yesterday, received confirmation of appointment and forms to be filled out. Today, I was called to say appointments are cancelled as this destist no longer works at the practice. There are no other suitable appointments for us until a month later. Unprofessional and disappointing. Will try to find another practice. No apologies offered by staff, nothing.
Negative experience: I had an emergency appointment on Saturday 30th of November. I’m pregnant 8th months so can’t take strong painkiller. I came at the time, in the clinic they made me wait for 1 hour, of course they apologize. One of my teeth was broken on two pieces and one piece was moving and it hurt my gym. Doctor told me she can’t see any moving it’s just crack and put filling just on the top those one that I had already. It took 5 min. Done. In two days filling didn't work as a “glue” for the two part of the teeth. I had a strong pain again. In another clinic with an emergency appointment doctor removed part of the teeth with a small dose of anesthesia (allowed during pregnancy). That’s looks like works and I can eat and talk with out pain. So, not recommended this place at all. Just looks they do as little as it possible.

Fantastic experience: Everyone in the office was absolutely lovely! My crown fell out on day one of my vacation , unbelievable! They found me an appointment that day and the very kind dentist was able to cement it right back in. Excellent service, highly recommend!
Fantastic experience: The Reception staff are efficient and polite. Irina the Hygienist is lovely and did a great job. Cost wise it ended up the same as in the City so quite pricey but good service. So would recommend
Fantastic experience: I attended the Dentist with much trepidation due to issues with other Dentists over the years. However at Greenwich dental practice and in perticular Dr Anjali Kaushik I have had a fantastic experiance, courtesy, professionalism, informative and extremely understanding. Negative experience: The reception staff seem helpful and dentists too until things are not working well. The review is not about one particular staff but the system as a whole that feels very unhelpful, limiting and extorting. I have been going to this surgery for years and I can see how the services are increasingly becoming constrained, quality is deteriorating while NHS charges are going high let alone the ridiculous fees of private dental services I feel pushed towards due to unimaginable NHS waiting. It feels frustrating when one has to pay whether the consultation has been helpful or not, when we need to pay again to see another dentist to repeat the same consultation, when they can change your dentist as they like but I can’t, when they won’t treat you in one sitting even in an emergency appointment despite seeing you in excruciating pain because they are there only for emergency appointment (irony), when dentist is incompetent during the procedure but call your case complex to save their back. I am suffering from one single issue for so long that if the dentists were paying attention I would have had specialist NHS appointments twice by now despite the waiting times. Instead what I got is failure of treatment, incompetent dentists and ill advice that has left me frustrated and in more pain than before.
Negative experience: What a joke of help I received. We turned up for my son’s appointment to be told oh the dentist is on lunch YOU Will have to wait a hour so angry. Nothing but problems with them will definitely not going back and the staff will be reported so rude
Fantastic experience: I have several problems with my teeth & a crown- 2 x broken teeth & a chipped Crown My dentist (Dr Tooba) assessed my issues & will be dealing with each problem individually. I felt reassured as I thought that I was going to lose a couple of teeth but after the examination a treatment plan was established, to my delight it did not mean I would lose the crown or the cracked fillings for which I am grateful. The plan is clear & concise. I have always had excellent treatment here & never had to wait too long for treatment- the supporting staff members are very efficient & welcoming. Although most of us do not enjoy going to the dentist Greenwich Dental Practice makes it as comfortable, convenient & pleasant an experience as is possible to get
Negative experience: Had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment without explanation or apology! Another person in the waiting room had been waiting for 1hour 20 mins! If there are unexpected delays then reception staff should explain and offer to rebook. I also enquired about an additional service cosmetic procedure after my appointment and the receptionist was clueless and just kept repeating that i didn’t have a treatment plan in place??? The actual dentist herself was very good though and clear with her explanations
Fantastic experience: Going there for the first time my experience was pretty good. The appointments for me and my daughter was on time, the dentist also advised me well. So, very good first impression. Thank you
